Training in the Woods [Private, Gengara]

Post by itsTAI » Thu Feb 07, 2013 3:01 pm

“Suiton: Water Whip~” cried out a lone girl within the vapor-filled forests of the Land of Water. Her name was Tenjoin Asuka, a genin hailing from the nearby Village Hidden by Mist and here she was training to do what ninja did best, fight. After forming a wave of a few hand seals, the blonde gathered water from the mist itself and constructed it into a long whip before flicking her wrist forward with enough skill to make it snap against a tree. Though her attack easily managed to shave off a couple of layers from the tree’s bark, it wasn’t of really any considerable depth to do much damage. She was too weak. Far too weak. Earning a frown from her efforts, she merely spun the fluid around her body before flicking forth another attack. Then another. And another. One after the other did her strikes fall, but it didn’t do her much good. The strikes may have carved away the dark wood to reveal the white layer beneath of it but she wanted the power to make it topple over, snap in two. It almost seemed pointless.

Annoyed by her weakness, a bout of anger would sweep across her face as she launched one final strike with her whip. Wrapping around the circumference of the tree, she would form some additional seals with a single hand before charging her chakra into the water held with her other. “Suiton: Deadly Water Drills~” As a smile formed across her face, the whip suddenly morphed into a drill-like state, holing its way through the bark and making it crumble with the force of its ruined support structures. As it feel harmlessly to the side, thumping against the ground strong enough that it made her legs vibrate, she merely smiled. “Hopefully one of these days I’ll be able to use this whip and cause that...seems a far way off though,” she thought aloud, pondering the idea within that noggin of hers. If anything, she needed to spar with her father. He was always the stronger of her parents in terms of aggressive taijutsu and what not. Hell, it was him who taught her the whip in the first place. A handy ninjutsu if you asked her.

Training in the Woods [Private, Gengara]

The mid day mist was no less blinding than that of the early morning, rendering sight almost useless. While one could see up to ten feet in front of them, Hakain could not see the hand in front of his face. Hakain had been training with his Sensory Plug: Sight jutsu, learning to navigate the village, and now the woods that surrounded the village, without the use of his eyes. When he came across someone new he pretended to be blind, but when he came across someone he knew he would explain what he was doing. He was training his other senses to the extent that he would soon be able to learn Silent Homicide, a style of killing that some of the oldest ninja in the village had mastered. This was what Hakain dreamed of, the ability to kill anyone at any time without anyone knowing you were there. Not only did it fit his obsession with poisons, the ultimate silent killing technique, but it also fit his style of fighting; Quick and clean.

This training was what led Hakain out into the woods, following the sounds of someone training deeper in the woods than most traveled. He was past stumbling, aware enough that he was able to walk in a relatively straight path, and skilled enough to not only track by the sounds he heard, but to not walk into trees as he moved. As he was still training he did still walk into a tree every so often, but not hard enough to trip him up, just hard enough to stop him in his tracks. The closer he got the louder the sounds became, until he heard the girl speak to herself, which was a lot quieter than when she was screaming the names of her jutsu. Hakain smirked, thinking he was looking at her, but was actually looking to far to the right. You don't have to do that you know. Scream out the names I mean.

Training in the Woods [Private, Gengara]

As the girl let her technique fall the ground, gathering there in a large puddle, a blush spread across her face as she turned around to see another there. When had he gotten there? Why couldn’t her parents have taught her chakra sensory? This was just down right embarrassing! “I...I didn’t think anyone was out here,” she muttered before letting out a cough as if she was trying to maintain her pride. “I’m aware. Its just something I’ve always have done while training,” she admitted. “Just helps me focus on how much chakra to use and what not. I know, its really strange, but its got me to where I am currently. Maybe that’s my problem.” Letting out a light chuckle, she would extend a small hand forward in a light greeting and smiling as nice as she could. But, something seemed off. Wait. Was he blind? He had an absent, dead stare to him. Though his head was relatively facing her, his gaze was in the wrong direction. Frankly and truly, she nearly even went as afar as pulling back her hand. What was the point of a hand shake if the one who was to shake it wasn’t even capable of seeing that it was there?

Hand shake or not, she would let her hand fall back to her side. “I’m Tenjoin Inari. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Though...might I ask, what are you doing out here? It looks to me like you’re just wandering around aimlessly,” she chuckled. “Wouldn’t want you to get lost or anything. I was getting ready to head back towards the village if you would like to join me? I’d enjoy the company.” She had to admit, they were a good walk away from Kirigakure. Inari always preferred privacy when she trained. One, it lowered the chances of her being discovered and exposing her embarassing methods of training. And two, it decreased the likelihood of her being interrupted. It was for these reasons that she always ventured that far away, after informing at least one of her parents first of course. Not like it mattered in the grand scale of things. They were both expert trackers in their own right, capable of sensing chakra through various mediums. Hunter ninja were resourceful in that regard. They could always capture their man before butchering and disposing of them mercilessly. So cold, so cruel...she envied them.

When the girl spoke to him, much closer than when he had heard her screaming the names of her jutsu, he turned his head, and his blank eyes, directly at her. He didn't think about it before, but the more he heard the girl's voice the more he began to make a mental picture of how he thought she would look in his mind. By her tone Hakain knew she was flushing, which made him smile slightly. Do not worry miss Tenjoin, I will not tell anyone your secret. My name is Hakain, and as for wandering aimlessly....let's just say that I have a way of always finding my way home. Hakain's tone was light, friendly, but he spoke in such a way that it would seem there was more to what he meant than just what he had said. His left hand rested on the hilt of Cobra as he extended his right hand out to shake her's, not knowing she had already retracted hers. It is a pleasure to meet you as well, and a guide back to the village would be quite nice, as it would save me quite a bit of time. I will follow you, and don't worry about moving to slow. I can keep up, even blind as I am. Hakain smiled again at Inari as he waited for her to begin their walk back towards the village.

Hakain smirked then, an idea forming in his brain. He began to wonder just what type of ninja this girl was; obviously she used Suiton, but two jutsu did not a ninja make. If you do not mind me asking, what kind of ninja are you miss Tenjoin? What I mean to say is, what skills do you specialize in? I like to use poisons myself, I find them quite....intoxicating, no pun intended. Everything about poisons intrigues me; the way they work, the way they are created, not to mention how differently they affect various people. He placed his hand over the metal case containing the vials of his two poisons, hidden just inside his Haori waiting to be used against someone.

“I appreciate that,” she giggled lightly as she took the other’s hand promptly and shaking it lightly in casual greetings. “Okay, so right this way!” With that, her light grip became a slight pull as she lead him in the right direction. It was only after she realized that the male was following her in the right direction did she let her hand fall to her side. By this time, however, the mist that encased their surroundings had grown greatly thick and hindering. Though she had gotten used to navigating under those situations, her inability to truly lead was gradually decreasing and decreasing as the time progressed. Soon enough she wouldn’t even be able to see the hand in front of her face. She wouldn’t announce such claims, she had already embarrassed herself enough, but there were certain times she stumbled over high roots or fallen logs. She just couldn’t view her surroundings properly. Great, the blind was leading the blind. Hopefully he didn’t expect her to make their long journey a quick one. That was impossible at this rate.

“Poisons huh? That’s awesome. I’m more into serums and tonics myself. I prefer using medicine for healing purposes. While I wouldn’t consider myself a medical shinobi as of right now, I am pretty medically geared in the grand scheme of things,” she smiled. “But, I try to stay versed in all ninja forms. You never know when you might need them. Though, I must admit, I have a lot of work until I can even compare to my parents. But, I’m just a genin. I’m still learning.” With another giggle, the girl lead the other down onto a simple dirt path. Finally she was finding something that at? least looked remotely familiar. To say she wasn’t thankful in that regard would be a lie. “So...What is it like to be blind? Where you always that way or did something happen when you were young?” she asked simply in an attempt to spark a conversation, turning her head back lightly just to see what kind of answer the other might respond with. Though she didn’t think anything of it, it very much well could be a sensitive subject. But that was just her over all innocence in the subject. He was the first person who couldn’t see she had ever encountered. To say she wasn’t curious would be quite incorrect.

Hakain paid the utmost attention to his surroundings, the way his clothes and skin suddenly became much more damp told him that the fog had gotten much thicker, and he wondered if Inari could see where she was going. The fog has grown quite thick miss Tenjoin, would you like me to lead? I have a feeling I know where I am at now. Hakain had used this very road on his way into the woods, he knew this because not only was it a dirt road, but he had remembered the smells of the flowers around him, and if he listened hard enough he could hear the beehive that was near by. When she explained her skills Hakain merely nodded, taking in everything she said, trying to commit it to memory. When she asked about his eyesight he had to laugh, because his answer was more than likely going to make her mad.

It is by choice actually. You see, without the use of my eyes I can train all of my other senses to operate at a much higher degree than normal, and by doing so I hope to learn the Silent Homicide technique one day. Of course that is quite a ways away, since I have only been training for about a month now. I can navigate the village pretty well, but I wanted to test how well I could navigate the woods without my eyes, which was when I heard you training. I am sorry if I mislead you. It was not my intention, I just do not wish to stop my training. It was obvious, by the way his voice sounded, that he felt bad for misleading the girl, mainly because she was being so nice to him. If she chose to leave him there, which he half expected, he would not hold it against her, since he had pretty much lied to her about being blind.

Training in the Woods [Private, Gengara]

The girl continued along her path, eyes squinting in a vain attempt to even so much as try to view the world around her. Practically drenched with the moisture that clung to the air, she threw her hands up in defeat. “Yeah, go ahead,” she muttered. “I can’t see anything…oops sorry. I didn’t meant that…hope you weren’t offended.” Taking a step back and allowing the blind swordsman to lead the way, Inari couldn’t help but envy the man. To be stripped away of what she considered her most important sense was something she couldn’t even fathom. She used her eyes for everything and needed them to function to do basically everything that she did on a day to day basis. Cooking to measure ingredients, spot checking to decide if she needed to suture close a wound or merely bandage it, checking to see if her hair had fallen in place correctly…all of those were important to her. It was almost frighting to think what it could be like to have that taken all away…

When Hakain answered her question, however, such boosts of confidence seemingly faded away in an instant. “…what? You mean all this time I’ve been nice to you and you aren’t even technically blind?” she said, almost hurt by the treatment. Groaning a sound of frustration, she ran her fingers through her wet hair and pulled it back into a pony-tail. Though it wasn’t exactly cute, she was tired of it dripping cold water down her neck. “Why didn’t you say anything sooner? Training or not, its rude to play people like that. I’ll forgive you only if you get me a hot cup of chai tea when we get back to the village,” muttered the girl with a frustrated chuckle. She’d forgive him nevertheless. She’d get over it soon enough, warm tea or not. Merely placing her hands within the pockets of her jacket and cuddled it close to her body for warmth, Inari continued to follow her “blind” leader. It was just down right cold outside. And to top it off with being soaked, she’d probably would get a nice scolding from her parents after they rushed her to the bath to get warm. Boy did that sound good.

Hakain laughed slightly when she got mad, more an awkward laugh than anything. When she mentioned what he had to do for her to forgive him he turned around to face her, walking backwards the whole while. Then its a date. Hakain winked at her, obviously joking, but his face suddenly perked up when he heard the sounds of various carts in the distance. He knew what this meant, there were close to the main road, and even better, the were close to the village. Turning back around Hakain began to run lightly, not to fast, but not jogging either, and knew so long as he felt the compacted dirt under his feet that he was on the right path. We are close to the main road, which means it won't be long until we reach the village. Hakain called back to Inari loud enough that she could hear him, but not so loud that he'd be yelling. As he was running down the path his foot fell into a whole, dug by a dog, or some other kind of animal, and tripped, face planting into the ground quite comically. Son of... Getting up slowly, Hakain dusted himself off, wiping the dirt from his face, and spitting out the mud that had gotten in his mouth, but when he had tried to walk forward he almost fell again. It seemed he had twisted his ankle when he fell, but the pain was not so bad that he couldn't walk on it, it had merely caught him off guard. He knew it would hurt a lot worse once it had swollen up, but he was confident that either he, or his new friend, or rather, the girl he hoped would be his friend, would be able to take care of it quite easily.

Inari shook her head, a soft smile spread across her face. She enjoyed being playful like this. It always lightened her mood and got her many things from the influenced male. “I suppose it is,” she replied back. “But I do hope you don’t think I’m going to be a cheap date. I only require the best,”. With a light giggle and wink emitted from the girl, she followed quickly behind the other when he shifted towards into a mild run. Already could she tell that the other was much faster than she was. It made her feel out of shape. But she wouldn’t lag behind. She wouldn’t allow herself to. The thing was though, maybe it was a good thing that she was a little bit slow. In a literal dash, she watched as a his “blindness” failed him. A step in a hole and a pop later he had fallen face first into the ground. Kasmack.

It didn’t take a medical professional to know what Hakain had done to himself. He couldn’t apply pressure to that foot. The muscles of his ankle just were not strong enough to support himself for the time being. Kneeling by his side, Inari would grab his leg and his calf down upon her lap. One, this helped elevate the injury and allowed her better access to assess everything. Hopefully it wasn’t broken. That was just out of her skill level. “See? That’s what you get for playing the blind card,” she chuckled as her fingers gently undid his sandal before placing cool fingers across his foot. Seemed it was a lateral sprain. A common injury really. “It’s just a sprain. But, I’ll probably will have to help you walk the rest of the way to the village. I don’t want you putting too much weight on it, okay? I’ll do what I can for it now, and if its still bothering you, we’ll change our game plan.”

With that, the girl would form a couple of hand seals and coat her hand in a bit of moisture. Applying this too the ankle, she would make sure it was nice and clean before pulling a syringe from her back pouch, popping open the cap, and injecting it right into the sprained muscle tissue. Using the blind to her advantage. He never saw it coming! “Before you freak out, I injected you with a serum that will help speed up the healing process. Its cool stuff really,” Releasing a soft giggle, she’d then move to start bandaging the area, limiting its mobility through with numerous rolls. Reapplying the sandal, she would merely tap the other on the leg. “So, ready to make the rest of the way towards Kiri?”

The girl had all but pulled his leg out from under him, and then stabbed a needle into his ankle. What the fu... Hakain stopped himself before he could finish the sentence, it wasn't right to cuss in front of women. After she had replaced his sandal Hakain made a few seals of his own, and wrapped his hands around his ankle. before long his ankle was completely numb, as was his foot, and while it felt heavy, and very odd to walk on a dead foot, he would not need the girl to support him while he walked, which would have been to embarrassing. I'll trust you for now, but if something happens to me, I will tickle you until you can't breathe. But yes, let us continue. Hakain stuck his tongue out at her as they made their way towards the village, he could tell already that this girl was going to be quite fun to hang around with, considering he had more in common with her than most other Genin, since she to was practicing Iijutsu.

I went ahead and numbed it so I should be fine to walk, for now at least, but thank you. I'd releasing my sensory plug, but the feeling of relying on my other senses is quite euphoric to be honest. It is unlike anything I've experience before, because I can hear things I would have never heard before, smell things with a much greater degree to the extent that I can even get a taste of the smell. Not to mention my skin is much more sensitive to even the smallest touch. Everything is so much more intense I could easily get addicted to this. He hoped he had explained it well enough that she could understand what he meant, though he felt like he was babbling like an idiot. As he listened to everything around him he could hear the carts getting much closer, and could hear the sounds of the animals pulling them as if they were not even twenty feet away. Can you see the carts yet?

Again Hakain considered to end his jutsu, simply to get a look at the girl he was walking with, but he knew there was plenty of time for that. They were both shinobi of Kirigakure after all. The again, he was curious if he would in fact be able to find her in the village once he was not using his sensory plug, since he would have to listen to just about every girl's voice carefully to see if it matched up with hers. The mist was cold against his skin, causing a large shiver to run down his spine that made his whole body to shake for a minute, he knew he should wear warmer, and thicker clothes, but could not bring himself to change since his former mentor had bought them for him when he became a Genin.

As he nearly cursed, Inari merely replied by tightening the bandages just a little past what she probably should have. She didn’t like that kind of language. Even if he didn’t completely say it audibly. But, as she rose back up to her feet, hands quickly brushing against her pants to wipe clean of any dirt and mud that had gathered there, she watched with a curious gaze as the blind ninja formed some seals and encased his ankle with a soft hue of chakra. She easily recognized it as medical ninjutsu. She had seen quite a few of those in her days. While not a technique she herself had, she had seen it used once before. It was a simple numbing technique. Useful, but not one she found was too useful. Well, guess it was in this case. “Guess I hope something doesn’t happen to you then,” she joked as they continued on their walk, abet slower because of his injury. The medic made sure she stayed close to Hakain’s side, ready to brace a him should he stumble, or even worse fall.

The girl listened to the genin’s description of what it was like to be blind. She found it quite interesting. “You might have to use that sensory plug on me someday. It sounds very interesting. I’d be the first to admit that I rely way too much on my eyesight. You just never know when something as important as your vision could be removed. And if I was in battle, I honestly wouldn’t last long without my sight. If you thought me stumbling through the mist was bad,” she chuckled. Soon enough, the two had made their way to the busy village entrance. Carts pulled by animals made plenty of clutter and Inari used an arm to lead Hakain through the shit filled streets. Didn’t want him to step in anything too nasty now did she? Eventually, the two would pass through the village gate and home they were! Making her way towards the not as busy side-streets, the girl would let out a sigh. It felt good being back in Kiri. Maybe next time she shouldn’t venture so far out. “Any place you’d prefer to go to for tea?” she asked as she noticed the brief shiver that crept through the male’s body. It was really getting to that time of the year where he should either dress more warmly or invest in an upgraded wardrobe. They looked…well, worn.

The edges of Hakain's mouth pulled up in a smile as he got a devious plan. Using her hold on his arm to determine just where he should stand, hakain moved behind Inari, using his hands to find her face by lightly touching her arms in a patting sort of pattern, and then her neck, though it was a more gentle touch as to not hurt her, and finally her face so that he could touch just in front of her temples. Stay very still, and whatever you do stay calm. Breathe slowly and everything will be completely fine, and remember, I am right here with you so nothing will happen. And with that Hakain channeled his chakra into the girl's eyes, completely removing her sense of sight. He let the feeling sink in for only a minute before he released his jutsu from the girl's eyes, allowing her to see again. Once the jutsu was released he removed his hands from her body and backed away from her slowly, so that he was not in her personal space any more. So what did you think? Hakain's voice was a little shaky, since he was worried he might have made her mad.

When he was about a foot away from her Hakain looked in the direction he believed her to be in. He tried to think of any place he enjoyed going to that served the kind of tea she had requested, but as he was not really a tea drinker he could not think of any place. After making a face Hakain spoke in a more confident tone than before. Not at all, lead the way. I am fine with where ever you choose, so long as it is not to crowded. I don't like being around to many people while using my jutsu. Hakain laughed gently, a soft, almost innocent sound that did not really fit the way he was dressed, almost girly even. He hated his laugh, it made people look at him weird, and most guys that heard it ragged on him for it, often calling him gay, or a faggot, and while he did not have problems with those that chose the same sex, it offended him that people would assume things about him simply from his laugh. He would understand it if he looked like a girl, or if he wore somewhat girly clothes, but he did none of this, which bothered him the most.

Inari saw that smile. It was devious. Just what was he planning? Keeping her guard up, the girl’s hair stood up on end when the male stepped behind her before landing on her shoulders. She couldn’t help but say she was a bit nervous, even twitching slightly to the touch, but his voice soothed her enough to relax lightly. He wouldn’t harm her, would he? The hands on her shoulders moved up to her neck and then up to her temples. That’s when she felt the chakra surging from them both. It made her eyes open wide before everything suddenly went black. Was that even the word to describe it? It was a literal nothingness. Part of it made her uncomfortable, but this was the condition that Hakain was training himself under? It took balls, that was for sure. As the technique faded and the other took a step back, she merely turned and smiled a smile he couldn’t see himself. “Its…something else. I couldn’t imagine how you function under those conditions. I’m impressed. Greatly impressed.”

When the other simply didn’t mind where they went, the blonde nodded and began walking back towards the city center. She knew a lot of tea houses. It was the favorite drink of not only her, but her mother’s, so the two often bonded after a rough day sipping their worries away with the warm fluid. “Maybe that’s why we should go to a really crowded place. Push yourself to the limits! If you want to learn the art of Silent Killing, there will be times where you have to migrate around multiple people to kill your man. Just my two sense in it.” Though when Hakain laughed, she couldn’t help but giggle herself. “You have a cute laugh,” she complimented. Though as feminine as it may have been, she saw it as the softer side that wanted to show itself somehow through that rugged exterior.

Smirking slightly, she turned the corner and walked inside of a simple shop. It was dark, not that Hakain cared. Though basically a hole in the wall, they had some of the best teas in town. Shame most judged the exterior too harshly, leaving them almost always completely empty. “There’s a booth right over here. Five feet forward and then to the right,” she said as she let the other lead their way through the small restaurant. Just because he was blind didn’t mean he was helpless at all.

Hakain's face burned as she complimented his laugh, turning a very deep red color. He had been about to comment on some of she had said when he said it, and it completely stunned him, though he kept following behind her, until she told him where the booth was. He navigated it quite well considering he had never been in the shop before, though he did trip over the seat when he turned towards it. Catching himself on the table with his right hand Hakain sighed, he had already fallen down once that day and did not wish to do so again. After he was seated he looked forward without seeing, which left his with an eerie sort of stare, almost as if he could see through you. It was then that Hakain had found the words he had been about to say before. Just because I can not see does not mean I can not see. If that makes sense. Try and he might Hakain could not stop himself from laughing again, and after he cleared his throat he attempted to explain what he meant. When you hear a sound, or smell something, your brain automatically tries to place with what it came from, often bringing the source to your mind, but when I hear, or smell, something I also picture it in my mind. While I am still learning to do it, I am able to create a picture of the source in my mind as if I am looking at it, except it is in black and white. I am working to perfect it, but I get around well enough without it so it isn't a real big concern at the moment.

Taking a deep breath Hakain's face turned an even deeper shade of red as he decided to explain to her how he had pictured her. I am tempted to release my jutsu to see how my image of you in my mind and how you actually look are anything alike, but then again, it kind of ruins the mystery doesn't it? What a curious thing it is to know someone, but not know what they actually look like. Hakain managed to hold back his laugh this time as he tried to make out the different smells around him. He was trying to distinguish the different teas by their smell, but he was not having any luck, since all of the smells blended together. I'll just have whatever you get, I am having trouble figuring out what all they have.

The girl listened to her “date’s” ramble and merely shook her head. Though as he mentioned the picture of what she looked like in his mind, she couldn’t help but arch a brow. That could be interesting. “Well then. I want to know what you think I look like. For all you know, I could be some overweight, stringy hair, acne covered girl with buck teeth. Who knows, maybe it might be better for you to keep your sensory plug active. Who knows, I might just make you actually blind. I have been prone to break mirrors with my smile alone you know,” she chuckled lightly, joking in the way that should hopefully make Hakain second guess dispelling his ninjutsu. That was her sly fox-like nature coming out, a trait she inherited from her father.

Flipping her long hair over her shoulder, Inari would smile once an older woman came by to take their order. Nicknamed “Ba-sama” by her frequent customers, she was perhaps one of the oldest females in the village. The poor thing had a hunchback and wrinkles so large that they made her appear almost pug-like. Her long pure white hair fell down the back of her head in a tightly wound pony-tail, interwound with a dark black ribbon. It almost made it looked like it had diamond like shapes cut into it. The amount of time it must have taken to do such a deed always amazed the blonde. And it always changed with every visit she made. Deciding to order a simple raspberry tea large enough for two and the elder woman disappeared into the back to begin its preparation. Till then, they just sat there, “starring” eye to eye. “I hope you like it. The fruity nature of the raspberries removes the bitterness of the tea. Its wondrous.”

Hakain's mouth perked up into a crooked smile, and as she flipped her hair, he figured that was what she did since the sound of rushing wind was so close, he changed his mental picture of her to include longer hair. He didn't believe a word the girl said about what she could be, mostly because of the joking sound in her tone of voice, but also there was the fact that he had not only touched her arms, but her neck as well. Hakain knew there was no way that the girl was over weight, her arms and neck were far to tight for that, and as for the stringy hair part, her hair would not have made the air rush past if it had been stringy. He also knew that she was shorter than he was, but only by a few inches, and so he began to really focus on his mental image of the girl. By the time the tea had arrived Hakain's smirk had grown even wider. When Hakain spoke it was not a tone like Inari's with the slyness of a fox, but the sinister elegance, and pride of a snake, with an almost alluring quality to it. Well I can not speak for your face, or your smile, but I can tell you that you are at least five foot in height, and weigh some where around one hundred pounds, one oh five maximum. Your arms and neck are far to tight for you to be over weight, which coupled with the fact that you are slightly shorter than I am it was not that hard to get a general idea of your weight. As for your hair, it is a little damp, you hit me with a few drops of water when you flipped it, but it is not stringy, not in the slightest. I couldn't tell you just how long it is, but I'd say at least shoulder length, but that is only a guess. And I believe it would safe to assume that you, like most of our village, have slightly pale skin since we do not get much sun light thanks to the mist.

Hakain had been letting his tea cool off some while he spoke, finally taking a sip of it, and the surprised look on his face would attest for his enjoyment of the tea. Hakain loved raspberries, their slightly bitter taste made his jaw muscles tighten up slightly when he ate them, and he absolutely loved that feeling. Hakain waited for the girl's reaction to what he had described about her, he wanted to see if he was right, and he hoped he was, so that he could find her again if he didn't see her before the "date" was over. it was not long before people began to notice Hakain's blank stare, that coupled with the fact that he was speaking to the girl, but not really looking at her, made them to assume he was blind. The people around him had either not heard Inari when she spoke of his jutsu, or were civilians so they did not know what the jutsu did even if they did hear her speak of it. it was not the fact that Hakain was apparently blind that made them stare, there was more than one blind person in the village, it was the fact that he was armed with not one, but two swords that made them stare. It happened often, though Hakain never saw any of it, because no one seemed to understand why a blind man would carry swords with him every where he went. Most ninja knew enough about the working of chakra to know that even a blind person could make an excellent ninja, but that did not stop most Genin from staring at him as he walked around the village without a care in the world.

So tell me, how did I do? Oh, and how many people are staring at me? I'm always curious about that, considering I can't actually look to see if anyone is staring. It was the same serpentine tone as before, but this time a little more light hearted, Hakain wanted to see if he could make her think he had something else up his sleeve, considering it was not a tone most would trust. As Inari described to him just how she looked, Hakain ended his jutsu so that he could see her, and was proud that he had come so close. As the day came to an end, the two Genin laughed at various jokes, and comments the other made while drinking the tea. Inari had even made Hakain laugh so hard that hot tea exploded from his nose. Needless to say it was a great ending to what started as a very boring day.
