Katsu stepped off the boat with a heavy step. The small, cramped, and enclosed space of the vessel had already set her mood foul. The men would do nothing but stare until she glanced back towards them with a deadly glare. It seemed that was enough to get them to look away and move on. What they were glaring at her for she didn't know. The idled stares never normally phased her, just this time it was bad. The moon was fool tonight, and the cramped enclosure left her more than a little on edge. With that first step of freedom she immediately shifted her form though, into that of the alpha bitch. With a long breath in, she finally seemed to relax.

Looking over her shoulder she expected Naoko to be coming, followed closely by the normal escort of several joining on such outings. Though Katsu knew why she was out here, and why the village though they needed to come she wished they hadn't. It just made more people that could get in her way. Without saying a word to them she turned and began walking, talking over her shoulder towards Naoko.

"Where did you want to do this? This island is deserted with a lot of marshy areas, though the wildlife seems to have left it for dead."

Naoko sighed and looked at the landscape around them, irritated herself at the little entourage that was required every time she took her student somewhere. She'd tried talking to the Mizukage once about it, but that was as simple as obviously she was never permitted the time to talk to him about it. "Maybe a clearing to start? We can move on to more difficult terrain as we go."

She glanced around and crossed her arms, glancing back at the ship as well. She'd been worried about dealing with the crew of the ship considering Katsu's 'attire', but the girl had been rather adept at dealing with them herself without causing more trouble. "This place should present us with plenty of options really." Naoko's mind was still rather distracted, but she had to keep her mind on the task at hand, training Katsu.

Katsu marched forward with her nose held to the air. She was sniffing for any possible signs of life here but there were none. It didn't make sense to her, why was such a paradise abandoned? There should be a cacophony of sounds filling her ears, and a plethora of scents on the air. There was nothing, but maybe that was just as well. This place would from here until forever be her place of training with Naoko. It was remote enough the village couldn't suffer any damage. Attempting to shun the oddities from her mind, Katsu kept marching until a rather large clearing came up. Nothing but temperate grasslands stretched for several hundred yards in all directions.

"We're here."

Naoko nodded, looking around them. The entire point of this exercise today would be to help Katsu learn how to defend against kenjutsu users such as herself, and honestly there was one key thing to it that Naoko knew very well. "Do you know the key to defending against any Kenjutsu attack?" she asked Katsu, curious to see if the Genin knew of it already.

In her first fight against Katsu, Naoko had taken advantage of this fact, knowing Katsu was a powerhouse that was best put down quickly.

Naoko took a moment to fix her sword so that if she were to draw it, she would draw it in 'reverse', to strike at Katsu with the dull side.

Katsu sniffed the air again, still trying to make sense of the lack of life in this place. Finally she had no choice but to give up, and thus she did. She growled in discontent before turning to face Naoko, obviously disturbed but just pushing through. That would have to be investigated further at a later time. However, there was a fight at hand. The girl assumed her natural form once more, standing and stretching her arms. Even for being so new to the genma the animals seemed to fit her more than this shape, it almost seemed more natural.

"In the accademy I'd get close and stay there. If they couldn't swing fast enough there wrist was broken before they got a chance too. If they could it I normally ducked the first one and broke their arm."

It wasn't a lie either. She had no other idea of how to fight against someone using cheap weapons other than to just remove whatever they're using. It slowed them down to swing such a thing, the weight wasn't natural. Gave her the precious second she needed to destroy something.

"The key is the unexpected." Naoko said. Her body was completely relaxed, her eyes straying over the landscape as she spoke.

Yet in the instant her words had escaped her mouth, it all changed. She dropped into a ready stance, drawing her sword and in a step she was less than three feet from Katsu. She'd drawn her sword in reverse, so only the blunt side of the blade would be used, aiming for Katsu's side, a feint, and with a flick of her wrist Naoko was aiming instead a hard blow at half her strength at Katsu's shoulder.

"Expect everything and anything, even when there is nothing there." When the move was completed Naoko would sheath her sword and spin away a couple of steps, facing Katsu again. She turned to give a side profile view. "How best do you stay prepared for everything?" she asked, her hands grasping one another in front of her as she spoke.

D-Rank Kenjutsu
Prerequisite: 4 Taijutsu, 4 Strength
After drawing their sword, the user of this technique quickly closes on the opponent and then performs a simple slash by by the pivot of their wrist, producing an effective feint. If this attack connects, the user may twist their hand and strike again to make up for the somewhat weaker overall damage compared to a normal thrust.

The words immediately set the girl on the defensive, but she didn't expect the attack to come quite so violently at first. Just as well, she ended up jumping back only to have Naoko close on her again, seemingly from nowhere. Instinctively she lashed out, aiming a strike towards the woman's arm, only to be surprised again as it stopped. She backed off, showing that this was the time to start. The beast couldn't help herself, she smiled and smiled wide. A slight chuckle escaped her lips before speaking.

"I act first."

Without ceremony Katsu shifted her form once more. However, unlike most any other this one came with an eruption of primal jade chakra flooding from her. The cloak was formed, but she was in complete control. Her tail shifted, growing more chitinous until a lethal point came over the end. She lunged forward, keeping her stance low and that tail pointed directly at Naoko. That final couple feet would be done with a sudden surge of might forward, aiming to pin the woman.

Naoko grinned from ear to ear. Now this was fun to her. Forget everything else, everything except the fight. She knew Katsu would jump, it was in her nature to want to dominate, and she threw herself backwards just as she lept, knowing the girl would sail over her.

Yet it didn't end there. As she dropped she drew her katana, altering her use of an Eishin maneuver, Drawing Clash, just enough to fit the situation. As she dropped backwards she rolled towards Katsu, sword held straight up, and pushed the blunt edge by the hilt, aiming to slam the blunt side of the weapon into Katsu's shoulder.

It was good the girl had the genma, or else such a move would cause too much damage, but Naoko knew with the beast in her, she'd be able to handle the pain just fine.

D-Rank Kenjutsu
Prerequisite: 4 Taijutsu, 4 Strength
Against an advancing target, the user quickly draws their sword horizontally, stopping the blade mid-draw in front of them. Then, placing their hand on the sword's hilt, they push forward. As the attack collides with the moving target, the techniques power will turn the opponent's own inertia against them, amplifying the damage. The user requires greater strength than the target's approaching speed to accomplish the effects sucessfully.

The blow was absorbed, connecting hard against her shoulder and spreading down her chest to cut across her breast. A scream of agony erupted as soon as the connection was made and sheer terror crossed her face for the briefest of instants. She followed forward, staggering as she tried to catch her feet. There was a massive welt already forming across her chest and shoulder from the strike. She was gasping at just how hard that strike was, trying desperately to get air back in her lungs. Within a few seconds she was standing again, glaring down Naoko with renewed fury.

"I see."

Her form didn't change this time. She remained as she was, but instead of charging she waited. Her gaze was fixated on Naoko, not looking anywhere else as if a hunter stalking prey. Something rare happened as Katsu spread her legs, standing firm but almost agile. It looked. . . off, but perhaps there was something to it.

Naoko stood, sheathing her sword as she eyed Katsu. "Rule Number One, Expect the Unexpected. You've learned that." she said, taking a few deep breaths to calm her own heart rate and keep herself calm that she might react properly if Katsu moved.

"Rule Number Two, Making the first move isn't always the advantage. Congrats, you just learned that." Naoko was grinning from ear to ear as she spoke. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't enjoying this. Katsu was one hell of an opponent, and one hell of a student.

"Care to guess at Rule Number Three?"

Katsu's breathing was already heavy from the searing pain in her chest. It was welting up nice and big now, becoming something rather ugly across her chest. If Naoko looked she would see the continued wince of pain that went across her face. However, it seemed to start melting away, slowly. Pain was being replaced with something else, and the look of raw lethality was in her eyes. She was controlled, but obviously getting pissed off. Her face was growing red and a low growl was coming from deep in her chest. The cloak formed even deeper now, though gained absolutely no new form. Raw chakra leaked from every pore of her being. The girl had something planned. She didn't answer Naoko, instead opting she would answer for her.

E - Tai
Katsu uses emotion to fight and rage is her prime emotional default. While fighting Katsu grows increasingly more angry, pushing deeper and harder as the fight progresses, giving the illusion that she is actually getting stronger as time goes on instead of weaker.

Back Off
C - Ranked Ninjutsu
This is done without the use of handseals. Katsu releases a massive burst of chakra using herself as a central focus. This burst acts just like a single exploding tag coming out from her. This cannot be used again for 2 posts.

Naoko was intrigued. Katsu seemed to have learned the third lesson already. The lesson of Patience. She formed a couple of hand seals, triggering her [Senses Open] Technique. She rolled her shoulders and dropped into a ready stance, grinning at Katsu as her personality seemed to change just ever so slightly.

But she didn't charge, not just yet. She debated on using a more advanced technique, having a feeling that Katsu wasn't just standing idle

C Rank Ninjutsu
The main jutsu of the Skitter Step, Senses Open does exactly what the name states. The user's senses are magnified by a great degree and they are constantly looking around, gaining sensory information. Their personality will slightly change to a "defeat or be defeated" mentality. Also, a user in this state will be easy to see that they are in it since they are constantly acting paranoid by looking around, zoning in on about anything. Though, throughout the time, the ninja tends to attack purely based on instinct, rather than planning anything out, which effectively increases their speed and taijutsu by 1 and decreases their wit by 2. To activate it, the user must do a handseal, flooding chakra to their brain to 'unlock' their senses. Once activated, this lasts until they deactivate it with *Stop or until they are out of battle.

It was rare that Katsu ever waited on anything, and this would be a case it wouldn't be for long. Her form shifted once more, springing forward at lighting speeds, indeed moving faster than any person had a right to move. This wouldn't last though, as soon as she closed to the last few feet her form shifted once more, though the thick green cloak never once left her frame. Indeed, it was part of the assault. The mighty ursine fighter roared as it moved.

Katsu released the surge of raw chakral force. The surge was followed with a blast of raw power coming from her own shoulder. She charged into the woman headlong, aiming to send her reeling to the grounds. Something was changing about her breathing and maner as well. She was decending into madness, it was all but clear. But maybe it was just what she was planning.

A voice came into her mind. Unmistakable was the call of Vorashu. "Feed." The urge began to creep into her mind and taint Katsu, indeed throwing her further towards the edge than was safe. The girl didn't let up in just that strike either, indeed shoving into the oncomming barrage and pressing through any counter strike. Her paw came up strong, aiming towards Naoko's groin before a massive maw aimed towards her side.

Blinding Fury

After the fight has progressed far enough Katsu surrenders herself to primal instinct, letting her body act on it's own. Pain and fear seem lessened but not negated and her survival instinct seems to lessen, absorbing blows without concern for personal well being. At this stage some would consider her a feral beast, but others note she is still thinking like a beast, unlike later stages. Note, "Building Wrath" must first be in effect.

Cheetah
D-Ranked Kaerujutsu
Katsu shifts her body to be a Cheetah, gaining the burst speed potential and frame of the great lightning cat. Exacts depend on the genma form she is in when shifting.

Form 1: Katsu seems to shed some less needed things and become more like a sickly nightmare than a Cheetah. Her fur begins to become patchy and you can see her skeletal and muscle structure flawlessly. She grows even quicker and has a much lighter frame.

Bear
C-Ranked Kaerujutsu
Katsu shifts her body into that of a great grizzly bear. In this form she is very durable and strong, as well as capable of crushing opponents from her sheer weight. Exacts depend on the form she is in.

Form 1: Katsu grows in mass and size. She now weighs roughly twice what she did as she grows 50% larger, standing at 6 feet on all fours and 10 feet on her hind legs. Her claws and teeth grow along with her, becoming more savage in appearance.

Relentless Assault
C - Ranked Taijutsu
Katsu refuses to relent on any given attack, forcing everything she could ever possibly force into an extremely brutal string of attacks. Once an assault starts Katsu will attack with anything possible to make it extremely difficult for someone to mount a counterattack without taking the brunt of the assault.

Unhindered Brutality
D - Tai
Katsu has no morals in a fight. If she has marked someone for death she won't hold anything back. This means if the chance presents herself Katsu will aim for the most painful areas on the body. Be it a powerful punch/kick/bite to the groin or chest on girls, or stabbing out the eyes, Katsu will do anything to see someone dead.

Vice
D - Ranked Taijutsu
Katsu has absolutely no qualms about biting a bitch in combat. This is Katsu getting a bite in and then locking her neck and jaws in place. This causes the force of the bite to become stronger, causing the depth and holding power to increase, making it so that someone must put all their effort into pulling Katsu off in order to break the hold.

Naoko was reacting on pure instinct now. She knew Katsu was fast, she was her student after all, but this was the first time she'd seen it used at her. The cheetah had moved at a speed fast enough that Naoko wasn't sure she could block any attacks, but when she turned into the great bear, she had a chance.

She reacted with the first thing she could, using her Eishin technique Infinite Worlds Draw, drawing her sword and blocking the paw with the blunt side of the blade as she drew it, and slashing at the great jaw as it came at her, again with the blunt side of her blade. Yet all this was done on pure instinct, and she was not able to hold back her own strength or to curb her reaction. She was lucky she reacted with the blunt side of the blade, but whether that was intentional or accidental even Naoko didn't know.

When her moves were complete she would take a step back, sheathing her sword again, panting and eyes wide in shock. "Katsu...?" Part of her was worried she had hit too hard, the other part of her was concerned that her student might have lost herself to the beast, or might be about to.

A-Rank Kenjutsu
Prerequisites: 10 Taijutsu, 10 Strength, Must Be Trained in Bear Country Dojo or Taught by someone who has trained there, Requires 5 other Eishin Style techniques learned first.
Showing mastery of the style, the user will first grip their katana with both hands in the typical upside down 'dagger' position before quickly drawing their blade and tilting it at their waist, unleashing a startling fluid series of slashes shortly after. The power of the technique comes from the sheer number of angles and speeds these slashes can come from. By switching their grip in mid swing with one hand or even sliding a hand up the back of the sword, the user can increase force on specific parts of the blade or lessen it, making this technique incredibly dangerous. The opponent requires Taijutsu or Speed equal to or greater than the user's to read the angles of the user's attacks.

The great paw may have been slapped away but something struck much, much harder. Katsu was knocked smooth back from her chomping attack against the woman, left to stand alone with the searing pain that moved through the great ursine face. She stood unmoving, growling as something seemed to change. There was a voice coming over the air, one very familiar to Naoko. It was low, dangerous, and powerful.

"Pathetic."

It only said a single word briefly before Katsu's own low growl resumed, growing deeper. She was quivering now, visibly shaking from something but what was unknown. Still she didn't move, but something was obviously changing. There was a resounding snap, Katsu's jaw popping back in place before she looked up. Her eyes were no longer in their sockets though. Jade orbs glared through the woman before her.

"You've let her tame you, Beastia. And now she's alpha, not you."

The growl grew deeper as the ursine form was abandoned. Katsu stood with a long red line tracing from her ear to the corner of her cheek. Her chest heaved from slow but deep breaths, yet she still made no moves.

"She once destroyed the thing you love but with purpose. Now she's tamed the animal you should be. We shall never be free, and yet you submit to her."

Katsu was trembling now, something inside was barely restrained, and it didn't seem to be Vorashu. Katsu was loosing herself, but not to the phantom beast that resided within her. It all seemed to be building to a head, but there was no hinting to when it would snap. If Naoko looked through the green cloak of Vorashu's gifting, she would peer into the orbs of raw madness, but also see tears streaking down her cheeks.

"Where's the passion you fought so adamantly with before? What happened to the huntress to be replaced with such a coward!?!"

There comes a point where Katsu forsakes all form of physical well being. She stops thinking or trying to control herself and acts/reacts completely off base instinct and desire. In this state even an animal thinks more than she does, but an animal can also be scared off and stopped with enough damage, Katsu will keep pushing until she dies. Note, "Blinding Rage" must first be in effect.

Dig Deep
C - Ranked Taijutsu
Another mindset jutsu that can be dangerous if overdone. If Katsu begins to get tired she forces her mindset to alter, ignoring the effects of exhaustion and pushing harder than ever before. Some see this as a second wind, truth is she's still tired but refusing to stop.

"Shitshitshitshitshit." Naoko was muttering under her breath, taking a few steps back. She glanced around, knowing somewhere they were being watched by four Jounin who were assigned to keep Katsu in check. She raised a single hand to keep them back for now, to indicate she was fine, but at the same time, to get their attention. There was no telling what was about to happen. "Katsu. I know you're still in there, show me you're still in there." She was both afraid and worried at this point, she'd reacted on pure instinct and still overdone it.

Just in case however, instead of cancelling her skitter step technique, she moved on to the next step. Her behavior would change again, constantly checking around her, hands on her katana hilt as she watched Katsu carefully, overly aware of what was going on.

B Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Senses Open used.
An advanced version of "Senses Open." The user floods chakra to their senses, which expands their usage even more, causing them to hear every minute sound, but a loud sound won't cause them to go deaf or anything of the like. The user also can start to hallucinate if they stay in this stage too long (3 posts). Everything that is able to be heard, the user hears. Everything that is able to be seen is able to be seen. The user, to anyone else, will appear to have gone completely crazy.

"Shut the fuck up! You fucking wanted to know how I fight those fucking toys!"

Katsu's voice was that of Vorashu's and her own. She was sucking everything she could from the great phantom. Every muscle in her body rippled and flexed as she stood there. Something was snapping hardcore inside her. She was forfeiting control, not loosing it. Her hands came up and gripped both sides of the horned skull. Tears streamed down her face like a flowing stream now. The nails dug into both sides of her head, dragging jagged crimson lines from her temples down to her jaw as she clawed.

"Bestia. . .?"

There was honest confusion in the great phantom's voice. This was something even he had no knowledge of. Katsu's form lowered to all fours as she continued to growl. Her tail whipped madly around behind her. However, she still wasn't moving from her spot, it was as if she was waiting on something, or perhaps not even she knew what she was waiting on.

B - Ranked Taijutsu
Katsu's wit, nin, con, and gen drops by 1 instantly but she grows increasingly more brutal in her attacks. She becomes immune to pain, fear, and compassion but gains a strength and speed boost of 2 and 1 respectively. This lasts for a number of posts equal to her stamina.

Naoko formed another set of hand seals. This one even she thought might be overkill, but she didn't have much choice. Katsu was planning something, and Naoko was about to have to knock her out completely. She took a deep breath, and spoke in a few sharp, loud, words, meant to either wake up Katsu from this nightmare, or to instigate her to move. "Katsu! Snap out of it dammit!"

*[Sixth Sense]
B Rank Ninjutsu
By utilizing "Senses Open" the user forms the needed and seals and rushes chakra to their head. The chakra gives them a sort of "sixth sense" meaning that they can halfway predict things that are going around them. However, because of the nature of the style, some of the things that are "predicted" turn out to be nothing at all, giving them false images and sounds. For a note, this isn't able to sense things, such as a Sensor, but instead senses danger to the individual.

"FUCK YOU!"

The command came with a monstrous eruption of raw primal force. It seemed to be the lightning before the thunder though as Katsu exploded into action. She cleared the paltry distance with her mentor within a single bound before she was atop her. Mid stride her arm had shifted, almost impossibly quick it came down, aiming for Naoko's throat.

"You want me to be a fucking animal then here it is!"

Her arm came sweeping around but hit or miss she wasn't stopping. The powerful tail whipped around from the side as her body twisted, aiming for the torso section of this woman. Her leg came up as well, once again aiming for the groin in this assault. Even there she didn't stop. No matter the block or dodge, Katsu was going to be staying right on top of her now, pressing the assault hard, until she was removed.

Feral Challenge
C - Ranked Ninjutsu
This is done without the use of seals. Katsu roars and releases a burst of chakra that is aimed directly in front of her. This burst as the strength of 1 and 1/2 explosive tag and only travels for 1 meter before dissipating. This cannot be done again for 1 post.

Mantis Scythe
D - Kaerujutsu
Katsu's arm, left right or both, becomes that of a praying mantis arm scaled to her size. The exacts depends on what genma form she happens to be in.
Form 1: Katsu's left or right arm becomes that of a normal praying mantis. She gains the use of an exoskeleton that allows her to resist slashing and piercing attacks as if they were blunt, but only at 1/4 her strength.

Relentless Assault
C - Ranked Taijutsu

Naoko could see it coming, her focus completely on Katsu at this point. She drew her katana once more in the upside down 'dagger' position, blocking Katsu's first move, her mantis scythe. But she knew she couldn't get to the tail, even as she flipped the katana in her hand, the tail slammed into her side, Naoko could feel the bruising already even as she used the dull side of her katana to slap the paw away.

Naoko took a step back. She couldn't stay in this technique much longer or she'd lose her mind. Two fingers in the air as she sheathed her sword with her free hand, she made a couple of circles with her fingers to signal the four hidden Jounin to come in and help her stop Katsu. At this level of obvious rage, especially since even Vorashu seemed confused, there was no way she could stop her by herself.

Yet after she made the hand signal she reached for her blade again, making one more attempt to knock Katsu out. She rushed forward at Katsu, gripping her katana and her body low. When she was close enough she drew her weapon and performed the uppercut maneuver of the 'Ripper Draw' as she kicked off the ground with full force. But she was not aiming to cut Katsu open, hence using the dull side of her blade. The aim was to knock her out, or at least hit her hard enough to give the other Jounin a chance to help.

B-Rank Kenjutsu
Prerequisite: 8 Taijutsu, 8 Strength
Rushing forward at a foe and tipping their upper body down low the user of this technique draws their katana in a firm motion and then as they get close, literally 'uppercut' upwards while kicking off the ground at full force. This creates a vertical trail with their katana blade that is unparalleled in cutting power for the relative simplicity of the technique; Strong users can often cut concrete walls down the middle with this technique, or just as easily cut open unwary foes.

Katsu's attack pressed, unrelenting and unrestrained. Tears rolled down each cheek and blood was coming from ever self inflicted gash that ran on them. The first attack meant nothing, she followed through. The tail connection registered shit, she kept pressing the assault. Her foot being blocked was unknown as she continued to press the infinite assault, until something brought her to a near grinding halt, a pain that was unlike any she'd felt before.

Katsu had jumped towards Naoko, putting every singular ounce of force she had into her assault. The blunted blade came up, catching Katsu with full impact, causing her to instantly crumple and end her assault. There was an audible scream that rang through the air before the girl finally stopped moving for an instant, gripping between her thighs. From between her fingers blood ran streaming down. Katsu made to get up, but her legs almost didn't react until she finally came to a wobbling stance.

"You're a dead woman."

Over in the distance 3 jounin and a singular mountain of a man held their position until Naoko made the call. Within seconds they were surrounding the girl, until they heard the sound of metal on flesh followed by the ear splitting scream. One among them didn't instantly wince in their own phantom pain. That singular man was nothing less than her own father who had finally disembarked. His face wasn't of pain, but not of utter terror.

Katsu shifted her form once again, but this time it held no shape. She couldn't focus on anything. No form stuck and she was left standing there, gritting her teeth against the pain in her groin. Something snapped clear in half though. That was the only thing that could have brought her out of the rage, but it seemed to only push her deeper.

"Beastia! Stop this now!"

Through growling, gritting teeth Katsu barked back.

"Fu. . . FUCK YOU!"

Katsu was off, moving once again with unrelenting power and might. She bolted towards the woman before something caught her. A singular, immensely powerful hand wrapped around her neck from behind. Within an instant the Goliath of a man was on top of his daughter, pinning her to the ground as she shifted form time and again, gnashing fangs and claws in every direction. It was all he could do to hold her as several walls were erected around the girl and man, each held by a different jounin. With absolute horror in his eyes he spoke through haggered breath.

"Vorashu! Get her back!"

When Naoko's feet touched ground again, her sword already sheathed, she immediately fell to her knees. She held up a single hand seal with shaking hands, her own jutsu eating away at her mind to the point where even when the Jutsu was effective and previous mind-breaking jutsu cancelled out, she rest her forehead on the ground, panting and trying to catch her breath as her fingers dug into the dirt. It was several moments before she looked up and saw what was going on with Katsu.

Yet even when she saw it, she couldn't help with it. She fell to her side and rolled onto her back, looking up at the sky as she fought to get her mind back. It would be several more long moments before her breathing returned to normal, and her eyes wandered to Katsu, in the back of her mind silently praying the girl would be alright. She knew Katsu could take heavy hits, but she hadn't meant to hit her in such a tender area, her strike meant to knock her out had done far more damage than she'd meant to.

A standard jutsu for the Skitter Step. After completing the hand seal, the user returns back to their normal state compared to the "Senses Open" state. This can't be used in the same post as Senses Open.

Katsu's throws of agony and utter chaotic rage were enough to cause her father to slam down on her hard, cracking something with a resounding snap in her body. She didn't even wince at the pain as she kept pushing against her father's attempt to cage her.

"VORASHU!"

The great Phantom came to the forefront of the mind, exerting his full will against her own. Her body went limp for a brief moment before the girl started writhing again, dramatically snapping yet another bone in her body before Vorashu once again reclaimed control. Soon, she was limp and her father was crawling off her motionless form.

"Drop this cage before I kill you myself."

Vorashu was in complete control of the mind and body at this point. He stood, clutching at "his" side and tendering a leg. The jade orbs glared out at the assembled shinobi with obvious disgust but his primary attention was devoted elsewhere. The walls were dropped and her father took several steps back, but remained ready for anything. A pair of jounin went to attend to Naoko's needs.

"What have you done to her?"

Vorashu's bark was commanding and harsh.

"This is not my doing, pup! The bitch is running feral and even now trying to reclaim what is hers. You asked her how she handled those toys, you have your answer."

The great demon simply stood there, knowing in this form these five could easily overwhelm him. Even making a run for it was a dangerous tactic, and with Katsu's mind broken in insanity she would be nearly impossible to control. But one thing did bring a smile to his lips.

"But this is the beast I had come to respect. I really must thank you Naoko, it's been sime time since I've seen this from her."

Naoko waved off the help as she rolled over to her hands and knees, struggling to her feet, and even when she was on her feet she still looked a bit wobbly, her eyes glancing this way and that from time to time. It would take a bit for the paranoia to wear off. She looked at Vorashu a moment and nodded when he thanked her. She wasn't entirely sure how to respond. This was the first time she'd seen Vorashu in complete control, and the fact that he wasn't trying to kill her was a tad confusing.

"It was my intent to piss her off. You two are powerful separate with one in control and one not or vice versa. But you and I both know that if you two can work together you'll become even stronger." she told him, rubbing her side where Katsu's tail had nailed her. She seemed only have bruising, aside from the paranoia eating at her, as a result of the fight.

She couldn't help the chuckle as she moved her neck to crack it, her eyes still darting about from time to time. "Hell right now I'm still surprised you're thanking me instead of trying to kill me."

"Tame her and she becomes weak, Femina. Now you see where Beastia's true strength derides from. Considering it's taking most of my might to hold her back, I'd say you finally broke the chains that had been shackled to her. For that, I thank you"

Her father stepped up now, raising his arms as if confused with the same look of terrorfied rage he expressed before.

"Vorashu, even you know this is far too much for her. She's gone insane, which means she won't stop until she dies!"

"The first chain has broken, she and I will have our freedom. She will relent from this and come back to sanity. However, she nor I will ever be on your leash again."

The towering man took a step forward, standing defiant against the monster. The look of terror melted into one of utter dominion as he glared down at the form of his daughter, now possessed by a "god".

"If anything happens to her you know you die too."

This time Vorashu stapped back hard, pivoting on his good leg and standing face to face with the man.

"Don't take me for some fool, Mons Montis! Should anything happen to Beastia my essense would vanish from existance unless resealed by your kind once more. I will not die and I won't risk being sealed inside another of your misserable race. Beastia is the only alpha among the lot of you, and the only one true enough to herself to refuse the petty control you hold the illusion of having over my realm!"

The two stood, staring each other down. It almost seems like one would be able to physically cut the tension with a blade.

Naoko stepped towards to two, laying a hand gently on a shoulder of each of them, mentally hoping this didn't result in her losing one of her hands. "Both you take a step back." she told them.

First she turned towards Katsu's father. "This is part of the training. When she loses control, she learns how to reign it in, you and I both have seen that. Am I happy about this? No. I'm scared as hell that she won't get control back, but she will. You and I both know she's stronger than her own moments of insanity."

She turned her attention to Vorashu. "Taming her as never been my goal. Realizing her full potential is. Full potential for both of you involves you two working together. If she dies, you die, that means you have a vested interested in protecting her. Your strength is something she needs to fight as well."

Both of the mighty people quickly snapped over their glares directly towards Naoko. One was soft, the other proud. It was her father that stepped back first, claiming a spot in the dirt as his seat. His mighty hand came down in a blow against the gorund, creating a minor crater where he struck. Not long after it was Vorashu, stepping away from the hand and shifting his form to that of a timber wolf. He sat as well, but something was obviously distracting him.

"She's fighting hard. I don't know how long this'll. . ."

He was cut off by a violent eruption of raw chakra but remained in place.

"You will not fucking hold me, Vorashu!"

Katsu's body remained in place for a brief moment before Vorashu finally reclaimed utter dominion over the form. The claok thickened visibly as a lot of chakra began seeping out. As Vorashu sat there he was obviously struggling before the cloak reformed back to normal. Finally he was able to speak again.

"I lend her my power and tell her to use it. Piece by piece I grant her my divinity and she masters it with a zeal I've never seen from any creature."

Vorashu once again had to struggle with Katsu but this time seemed to be much, much more violent. A visible gash appeared on Katsu's leg before the cloak faltered. Snarls came from the bitch's maw before the form reverted back to Katsu's own. Though after a brief moment, Vorashu was back in control, and sitting on the ground, squatting better described with blood dripping from the wound on her thigh and nethers.

Despite what was going on between Vorashu and Katsu, Naoko walked over and knelt in from of them. She didn't say a word for awhile, not until things seemed to get calmed down. "We need to get you to the hospital and healed up, I don't have the technique necessary to heal this completely." she told Vorashu, though in truth she was speaking to both of them. As she spoke she focused the chakra in her hands before turning to explain to Vorashu what she was doing as she held her hands near Katsu's wounds, one at a time, this would take a great deal of concentration.

"I can't heal completely, but I can at least stop the bleeding until we get there. I need you to tell me when she's calm enough to take there, alright?" she asked him, chancing a glance at him.

*Blood Clot Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

The wounds on Katsu's face began to slow their bleeding bit by bit until finally only long jagged cuts remained scarred over. Vorashu said and did nothing as the medic did her work, though it was clear he didn't approve of this unnatural method of healing. Shortly after the marks on the opposite cheeks began to close Vorashu had to fling Naoko back hard.

"GET BACK!"

This time the body went utterly limp as neither seemed to be in control. A bright red bead of blood began to form on her chest though. When someone was finally in control it was Katsu, and she lay sprawled on her back, glaring into the sky as if pinned by an invisible force.

"Listen to me and heed these words well! This pack will not hesitate to slaughter you like a pig if you try to kill Naoko now. You're out numbered, outmatched, and injured. Keep fighting like this and you will die. I will not die because of your arrogance!"

Katsu still struggled against the mighty force before something happened, visibly something was pressing against those sensitive wounds. The girl let out a blood curdling scream before falling limp, rage still seething in her eyes, glaring at the invisible head that was Vorashu.

"Femina, tend her wounds. I'll hold this bitch in place."

Barely letting the pressure off cost Vorashu Katsu's grip on sanity for a brief instant. She once again began struggling against his paw before he reapplied the pressure. Once more Katsu screamed in burning agony. All that came next was an ear splittingly loud but deep roar from Katsu's throat, obviously coming from Vorashu. Finally, Katsu stopped moving and simply glared up, but rage was quickly seeping away from her mind and form, replaced with fear and realization. The pressure was released again as Vorashu growled in signal for Naoko to do her job.

Naoko moved in to use the same healing jutsu as before on Katsu's lower wounds, her emotions well hidden behind the mask the ninja always had to use when things got out of hand. Fact was, she was scared for Katsu, for her sanity. The fact that Katsu wanted to kill her only worried her because it meant steps backwards between the two of them, and Naoko would have to find a new way to regain her trust.

How could she keep training and pushing this girl if she kept losing her trust in the process?

Seconds turned to minutes and minutes seemed to turn to hours as Naoko did her job to mend Katsu's injuries. As she lay there Katsu slowly came back down from her rage induced high. Slowly, steadily, and deliberately she was reclaiming her own mind until Vorashu felt safe enough to remove his massive paw from her torso. All shinobi stood around the two as Naoko did her work until finally Katsu sat up in the dirt, still wincing in pain but no longer murderous. She looked to her father and gave him a smile and nod, a family signal she was alright. The other shinobi took the hint and began to back away, granting the three of them some more space.

Katsu's emerald orbs turned on Naoko next, no hint of rage born into them in the least. Something else was there, something not even Katsu knew what to make of it. With a raspy voice she spoke as she cracked a smile.

"I guess I need more practice."

Naoko looked at Katsu as she spoke and couldn't help but chuckle at the comment, a smirk on her face. She reached out and grabbed Katsu's chin almost playfully, grinning at her. "That's why we're here." she told her, releasing her chin as she sat back and looked over Katsu's wounds a moment.

"You ready to go to the hospital and get looked at?"

Katsu made a weak attempt to stand up but fell flat, unable to move. She tried once more but failed just the same. Before long she had all but given up, the pain finally catching up to her. Weakly she leaned in, laying against Naoko with a smile on her face. Softly she spoke as she braced against the woman, obviously unable to move an inch.

"I'm sorry. . ."

Naoko couldn't help but smile at the girl. "Don't be, I should be the one saying that. I did a lot more damage to you than you did to me." she said quietly, just barely above a whisper. Naoko wrapped one arm around Katsu's shoulders, moving so that she was on one knee, and her other foot was flat on the ground to brace as she slipped her other arm behind Katsu's knees and picking her up carefully to carry her.

She turned towards the other Jounin and nodded, indicating that the danger was past and they could watch from a distance once more, before she turned to Katsu's father. "Walk with us?"

Katsu fell into Naoko's arms with almost joy. She smiled sirenely with her eyes closed and propped her head into Naoko's shoulder. On occasion she'd wince, but with a hand laying across the woman's heart she stayed there, silent and seemingly content. Her father took a knee before raising to full height and finally taking a chance to inspect his daughter. He winced in phantom pain at the injuries he saw across her body. It wasn't the worst shape he had seen her in, but every time it hurt. As he walked he gently brushed her hair out of the girl's eyes and shed a small tear before taking a step back to let Naoko proceed towards the boat.

"Vorashu, are you still there?"

Deep within Katsu's chest Naoko would feel the powerful voice of Vorashu come through her mouth, though much softer than any other time before.

"I am."

"Thank you."

Vorashu fell silent for several seconds before finally speaking once more, this time with much more respect in his voice than he had ever shown before.

"You're welcome, Mons Montis."

Katsu nuzzled her head further into Naoko's arm as Vorashu fell silent.
