Trainings for Frosty

Post by Diatenshi » Tue Mar 26, 2013 8:02 am

Training for: Snowflake Shuriken Words: 400 needed, 401 direct training, 715 written total.
Tenshi Aisu entered a snowy forest; a freezing wind pierced his clothes chilling him a bit and made his black clothes ruffle. Preforming the necessary kata, he used Zero Sensitivity to Cold jutsu by circulating his hyouton chakra through his body, making his body resistant to the cold, before he started going into shock. His presence was noticed by the fauna as they scattered through the trees, his heavy black boots crunching through the snow noisily scaring them away.

There was a stark contrast between Frosty and the landscape. His black attire made him stand out like the moon in a starless night. As the snow had fallen upon his raven hair it looked like stars scattered across the sky. His black lip piercings kept freezing the inside of his lip so he’d kept rotating the rings. His blue eyes appeared to be cracks in a frozen lake. He shook himself knocking the snow off his black leather jacket. However, with his cold pale skin he could’ve blended in with the snow if he was naked.

He performed a few hand signs then scooped up some snow. He focused on the shape of a snowflake. He focused on creating a shuriken sized copy. He cupped his hands together around the snow. He channeled his hyouton chakra through the snow. Slowly the shape of the snow changed into a giant snowflake. When he finally had it molded into the shape he wanted, he sent a large amount of chakra into the shuriken adding ice to it to make it more solid. He threw it at a tree and it simply shattered, crumbling to pieces. He examined the remains and looked at its structure. He saw there are gaps and the ice was riddled with air pockets.

He tried again and used more snow using his chakra to compress the snow instead of just thickening the snow. He threw again and it sticks. Happy with his success he proceeded to jump up and down out of joy and a feeling of accomplishment. He ran over to the tree retrieving it and checking it for cracks. Sadly it was riddled with cracks. He tried throwing it again and it shattered on impact. He sighed at it being a one hit wonder. He prepared another Snowflake Shuriken and noticed just how it was same as the first. He presumed it was different from a real snowflake, where no two were the same. Frosty thickened the snow on the snowflake and compressed it as he did making it denser. He threw it again and it embedded itself in the tree. When he tried to pull it out it broke, the piece stuck in the tree.

He performed his hand seals yet again and made another snowflake without a medium, knowing the density he wanted. It was a little harder without the medium but not by too much. When it was ready, he performed quickly frozen phantoms jutsu and had an ice clone attack with a real shuriken. They threw up in the air and the Snowflake Shuriken was shattered on impact with the steel one. The Snowflake Shuriken was a one trick pony; against steel it had no chance, it was sharp but not strong. Satisfied with the new jutsu he has developed he pulls out a scroll and writes down the hand signs. He also drew a small sketch on the scroll and made notes about his new Snowflake Shuriken jutsu. Tired from his efforts, he took off his shirt and jacket letting the snow cool him. “I see why you go by Frosty, you blend right in” Yukiko says giggling, having walked up unnoticed as he was training. “Can you make another one? They’re pretty” she asked wistfully.

He had smiled at her and nodded, creating another one. He handed it to her and smiled as she tried to eat it. “Ow it’s too hard Frosty. Why did you make a snowflake I couldn’t eat?” Frosty merely laughed in response as she stuck her tongue out to catch a snowflake. “Well when you’re done training, come see me in my tent” she stated, winking at him as she backed away towards camp. Frosty eyes had widened and he quickly packed up and made his way back to camp.
