Raichi rolled out of bed exceptionally early that morning, he had been assigned a mission just the night before it though he found a rather large peculiarity compared to the usual stuff, it was very easily one of the weirdest missions that he had been assigned, talk about stupid. Though what really bothered him was the person who he had been partnered with; while he had yet to meet the person it was a genin, most likely exceptional in some way. He got the mission report as well as a file on his partner, older than the average genin, well older than him and most likely really skilled though due to brushing over it he did wonder just why it was so.

After having gotten ready he was ready to set out to the gate, to see just what this person had to offer as well as get this mission over and done with. He wasn’t the best tracker, however he was more than confident in his ability to finish off an opponent he thought to himself as he strapped the tanto to his leg, and grabbed his wakizashi to strap it across his back. Jumping up and down to make sure that it was secured he grabbed his knife pouch and strapped to his left leg making sure to do it up tightly.

He then left through the door, and found himself outside, the mist was much thinner than usual; most due to the breeze he could feel. Raichi truly hoped it’d stay like this for a few days longer, at least until their target has been done in. He dashed toward the main-gate and arrived there quite a bit early, going through plans in his head on the way. Just what kind of person was this Jouchaku, Chiane? He himself was never on a B rank as a genin, though he did believe that he was gifted.

Chiane groaned as she woke up that morning, rubbing her face free of the sleep that was coating it before she went about her morning routine, which was a simple breakfast before she said goodbye to her parents and went off to go start her daily training regiment. However, that would be interrupted for the day as she received an envelope. She was to be assigned to a mission with a person she had not met before. She shrugged her shoulders as she began to read over the envelope while she was walking about. "Shouto, Raichi... Why would someone of his rank need my help?" She was thinking out loud but then she suddenly burst into a fit of giggles. "OH! I KNOW WHY!" She stated as she let a smile cross her entire face.

The meeting location that the envelope spoke about was one of the gates of the village, nodding her head as she began to make her way there... but not before she stopped to get some of that delicious Melon Bread that she hadn't had in ages. Placing one of the two she got in her pocket, she stuff the other in her mouth part way and began to run again, munching on it while she was running towards the meeting location.

When she arrived, she saw someone standing there, seemingly waiting. The envelope had briefly given her an idea of what she may be looking for, someone in line with the Hirohito and she noticed rather fast the ring that was on his thumb. "Shouto, Raichi, right?" She stated as she was walking up to this person, her mouth partway full with the bread substance as she didn't care if he was going to see this as her first impression. She knew she'd leave a far greater one on him later. Without warning though, she extended her metal arm to shake his hand... and part way throw him off guard if he hadn't done his homework.
