”This is the tidal team. You’ll approach the peninsula from the West. Your primary objective will be to destroy any docks, ships, or anyone attempting to flee by sea. Once any exit has been destroyed, you’ll push towards the village center, flattening the village along the way.

While the ship they’d dismounted had approached from the south, Kozan was having them come from the West, the guidance from the young special jounin lingering between the group as they approached on the water. While this mission in full was a test for Kozan and an assertion of the village’s strength, this specific assignment would be a test for both Asuna and Hatsuyuki as well, both of which would need to conduct the initial parts of the siege on water. Even now as they approached they were walking on waves that never seemed to settle, pushed into excitement by a wind coming from the northwest. Kozan had no question Nishiki was capable of combat in these setting, but Asuna and Hatsu would be tested in how well they’d fair until they got to land, and if they could continue to push after expending chakra to stay above sea for so long.

As with the other teams, the Tidal team had been given a start signal. A large explosion that would bellow from the village center. Pirates rarely strayed far from their ships, so when it went off they anticipated that while some of the ships would dismount to investigate, many would simply undock and flee to sea to avoid whatever the attack was. This is where the Tidal team came into play. While Nishiki could certainly clear any boats and docks, Asuna and Hatsuyuki would need to pick off individual pirates. There would be plenty who were capable sea-swimmers, and even some who could use basic skills like chakra walking. They would need to be dispatched. The two young chuunin were, if anything, guards for Nishiki to be able to focus on large scale attacks while they picked off of the fodder.

This was the Tidal team, they would be a wave of destruction that would crash into the western coast of the peninsula and lock anyone on the peninsula into the coming storm. As they ventured closer to their starting position they’d still be able to see the ship that had carried them this far in the distance, but it was far enough that no one would suspect an entire cohort of destroyers had dismounted and would begin their approach.

For a moment, they would wait. Kozan’s instruction being their only driving force until the signal would come from the discord team. Soon, this ocean would become a graveyard.

A ninja’s duty is to become the best at what the ninja does, willing to sacrifice anything to accomplish this goal.

And then, it happened in an instant, a wave would surge under the trio lifting them high in the air for just a moment and then…

The signal rocked through the air, the mission had begun.

Everyone had been given their instructions, divided into their teams and given a small piece of Kozan's strange samsara stuff so he could sense them or whatever but regardless the mission was a go; Nishiki, Asuna and Hatsuyuki ditched the ship and dashed across the water up and round towards the west of the peninsula, an interesting task handed to them indeed as they got to have fun with some wanton destruction.

The Tsukino mostly kept a pace with the girls but was the one pushing slightly ahead, essentially leading them as they pushed to stay steady on the waves and make their way towards the docks unnoticed. After awhile their own ship seemed fairly small and in the distance as they finally approached their designated zone and came to an halt, awaiting the signal to begin as they remained focused and eyed the ongoings.

From their starting position it definitely seemed there was some busy on goings as pirates took care of their ships, though perhaps also some lazy ones as slouches simply waited to go about their business with drinks in hand already just wanting to set sail and start well pirating.
It wasn't too easy to tell exactly what was going on but that would start to change when a large wave began to grow under the Tidal Team's feet, rising them quite significantly it seemed and allowing a better look at things.

The surge in height would certainly come with great timing as soon after a loud boom could be heard, putting a sly grin on the fox's face as his fangs peeked from under his lips and the 5 elemental beings around his dead quivered with excitement.
"It's time" he called out
With that he steadied himself on the large wave and pushed to ride it as it crashed inland, eyeing up one ship in particular that seemed the most prepared to set sail as every pirate seemed to jump to their feet with a great commotion over the explosion coming from the village.
"I'm going to destroy this ship, make sure stragglers die" he then added, preforming handseals as the wave pushed them in like surfers except their boards were the chakra at their feet.

Nishiki got a good angle on the large ship and took a deep breath before unleashing a wide torrent of flames, which was overall quite a simple technique and typically a bit smaller but with the full oomph of a bannin its size increased rather impressively as it reached out to 85m in length and 27m wide as he swept it across the ship and nearby dock.
As the flame blasted through the wood and metal pirates would obviously panic and begin diving into the water, whilst others caught aflame would simply fall in and alarm bells would start ringing throughout everyone's heads as their attention began to focus on the attack entirely too soon after just hearing the massive explosion at home. In turn a mix of panic and action would begin to spread as the pirates began to move, some preparing to fight back and some trying to hightail it out of there which would only be added to by anyone that managed to flee from the village in a panic.

As the foxy man came in from the wave he leapt over and personally slashed the throat of such an escapee who made a daring jump from the top of the ship masts and was probably supposed to have been a lookout but truly failed at his job, being slaughtered mid-air before he could even hit the water; a showing for what was expected from the chuunin that followed, though perhaps not necessarily the same way given he used his claws to do so.
"Ahh... Perhaps there is a little bit of fun to be had here" mumbled Yoshimitsu within his hosts mind, a slight but still figurative smile peeling across his blank face.

After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a cone that is up to five meters long and three meters wide at it's base. The cone travels at a speed equal to [Control] and impacts with a strength equal to [Control].

As the Tidal team surged forward, their primary objective was clear: to unleash destruction upon the pirates and their ships. The young special jounin, Kozan, had strategically positioned them to approach the peninsula from the West, catching the pirates off guard.

Nishiki, the team's experienced combatant, unleashed a powerful torrent of flames, engulfing a large ship and nearby dock in chaos. As the pirates scrambled to respond to the unexpected attack, the team's focus remained unwavering. While not glamorous, Hatsuyuki, the young chuunin, played a crucial role in this phase of the mission; picking off the stragglers that tried to flee into the sea.

Despite Hatsuyuki's recent emotional struggles, he demonstrated his commitment to the mission. Alongside the rest of the team, he remained calm and composed, efficiently expending his stamina and chakra to keep up with the team leader.

The village center erupted in an explosion, further distracting the pirates and reinforcing the urgency of the Tidal team's mission. The pirates, sensing danger, began to panic, creating an atmosphere of chaos and commotion. But the Tidal team, like a relentless wave, pressed forward with a single purpose - to flatten the village and prevent any escape by sea.

As the chaos ensued, Hatsuyuki's unique attire, characterized by deep black and ice blue inlays, stood out amidst the destruction. In the midst of it all, Hatsuyuki's character development was evident, as he adapted to his role as a focused and determined shinobi. His introspection, though present, did not hinder his performance. He moved with purpose, embodying the true spirit of a ninja devoted to their duty. “This is the sacrifice I am willing to make to become stronger. Innocence and guilt have no place within the world of shinobi. The village wants them dead? Then die they shall. I just wish there wasn’t so much blood…”

After quickly forming hand seals, a swirling sphere of ice and snow began to whip around Hatsuyuki as his Chilled Aura took form. He deftly drew his katana as he surged forward on the wave after Nishiki, his face slightly pale from disgust, but showing only firm resolve. The waters around him chilled and began to freeze over even as he chased down a pirate that was attempting to swim away from the destruction Nishiki had caused. As Hatsuyuki drew near, the water around the woman began to rapidly cool, sucking the heat from her body and causing her muscles to seize. As the woman fought to keep her head above the water, Hatsu formed the single handed seals required for his, in his opinion, most power technique, and plunged his katana into her back, between her shoulder blades, after coating his weapon in black ice.

The user creates a swirling sphere of snow that expands ten meters around them, and moves with them. Those that enter this domain of snow for an entire post will begin to have snow accumulate on their body and they will begin to suffer from frostbite based on the user's [Control]. This technique lasts for 3 posts.

The user prepares a quantity of Kurokoriton chakra within one of their limbs or weapons to begin this technique, and then attempts to make contact with an target. Upon striking, the Kurokoriton will surge through the point of contact and into the target's body, allowing the Kurokoriton to take affect, causing necrosis based on the user's [Control].

Directions had been given, the participants had all been divided into teams... and with that the mission was a go. The Tidal Team's goal was clear, to cause mayhem and destruction by way of sea. As a Bannin and master of elemental ninjutsu Nishiki was more than capable of destroying the ships on his own and so Asuna knew her job would be to take care of any stragglers with the assistance of Hatsuyuki.

There wouldn't be much time to ruminate on the task much further as the starting signal came and their assault began. As the trio were launched up and forwards she couldn't help the joyful smile that crossed her face, truthfully feeling a great deal of excitement for the task at hand. The time had come for her to prove her mettle, these pirates would all die at the hands of herself and her allies.

While Nishiki and Hatsuyuki made their own attacks she was already channeling chakra, keeping an eye out for any stragglers from the explosion and Nishiki's flames. It was in this time that she spotted a pair of pirates clumped together as the scrambled in an attempt to jump ship and swim towards safety, wherever that may be. She only knew that they were facing away from the village, likely attempting to swim away from the conflict.

"Nobody is escaping under my watch! she shouted out, drawing her sword as she rapidly dashed forward on the water's surface. With an incredible amount of speed and dexterity she drew and swung her crackling sword, a 20 meter long and wide arc of lightning shooting out towards the pirates at a speed and strength of 15 each, shocking the group should it connect. Should they survive upon landing afterwards she would follow up by stabbing one of the group in the chest with her sword while whipping her tail out towards the other in an attempt to strike them in the chest, likely knocking the air out of their lungs and leaving them to quickly drown.

After channeling chakra into a weapon the user will imbue it with raiton. Then, one time over the next 3 posts the user can release an arc of lightning from the weapon that shoots out with Strength and Speed equal to [Control]. This arc of lightning surges out in a single direction up to 10 meters.

The ship burned, pirates scattered and the pair of chuunin took action as expected with Nishiki glancing at both to confirm but paying particular attention to Hatsuyuki who seemed like a potential candidate to be his dagger in the swordsmen and so he wished to truly see the girl in action and what she was capable of.
Nonetheless he also had to keep moving himself as he scanned the various docks, noticing how more and more pirates where finally starting to begin to take proper action whether they rushed over to fight or were starting to escape.

In particular the next dock over seemed to have numerous smaller boats with many pirates hastily pushing to move out, some even acting greedily in their fear and pushing other fellow pirates away from their boat as they tried to set sail. Not that any of it particularly mattered as the graceful fox dashed across the waters towards them with a series of handseals that accumulated in a powerful roaring tornado ripping up through all the small ships and boats.

The winds spread out further, faster and stronger than the base level expected just as the flames from before as it pulled smaller boats into the air and flung rubble of slightly larger ones about along with the people on board as it also sliced and diced through their bodies.
A multitude of screams echoed throughout the turbulent winds as it shredded pirates to and their beauties to pieces, the air carving out a 24m radius worth of damage in the area.

Fortunately for one particular small boat it seemed they had enough of a head start that the winds only just about threw them out towards the sea without completely damaging it or capsizing it, as such the pair of pirates started to regain their bearings and started rowing as a third seemed to flop down in the back in a daze and begin their getaway.
Nishiki turned to move towards them but a duo of actually decently competent, hefty looking pirates dropped down at either side of him full of rage and determination preventing him from quickly moving on.

That being said the bannin didn't worry as he was certain a dinky row boat was not fit for deep sea anyway and that was why they were in a team and he was certain his companions would solve the stragglers just as they had been doing so far, as such he focused on the duo as they charged at him in unison.
One in front swung down a thick, spiked club which Nishiki sidestepped as he unsheathed his swords in both hands but then the other also came at him with a huge cleaver to which he performed a spinning dodge and nocked back the woman with a powerful hit from his tails.

The man rushed other, swinging his club up tis time but the Tsukino leapt over it and bounced right into his face and knocked him down through the dock and into the water as he then span through the air and around the woman's next attack and slashed down across her arms getting her to drop the cleaver and stumbled backwards towards the water herself but before he completely fell the beast twisted into another slash cleanly through her throat before turning in an elegant spin to face the man once more as he clamoured back to the dock.

Nishiki then swiftly made a step over the the scrambling manas he cross slashed him, causing him to fall backwards but before he dropped the fox twisted and threw a powerful kick into the now severely bleeding chest causing him to fly into the still yet swirling tornado where he ricocheted with a powerful cutting gust through the air never to be seen whole again.

The user will first perform the required hand seals and then gather wind around an opponent. This will form a tornado around them at [Control] Speed which extends 25m into the air and has a radius of 3m. The tornado will push back anything that touches it with [Control] Strength, while also cutting at whatever tries to push through as well as a kunai would with the same strength. This technique lasts for 4 posts.

Nishiki will simply propel himself forwards with a high leap into the air, typically aimed to dodge over an obstacle or opponent

While slashing an opponent, the practitioner twists their wrist while simultaneously channeling the momentum of the first attack into another slash in a different direction, allowing the practitioner to attack another area of the opponent's body with the same sequence of movements.

Hatsuyuki, driven by the orders and the weight of his responsibility as a shinobi, focused on his assigned role within the Tidal team. As a master of Hyouton, he understood that he wasn't there to be a hero, but rather a tool of Kirigakure, a cog in the machinery of war. This internal struggle, the tension between putting the village before clan and kin, gnawed at him. Amidst the chaos, Hatsuyuki's actions spoke volumes. He knew that the pirates attempting to escape into the water had to be dealt with swiftly and decisively. As the sea churned around him, he spotted a pair of pirates, huddled together, trying to swim away from the conflict.

In a quiet determination, Hatsuyuki didn't allow them to slip away. He channeled his chakra through his legs and into his feet to maintain his footing on top of the water, watching the first pirate he struck down sink beneath the waves before charging towards the next two. In that moment, the pirates' fate was sealed. With one swift motion, Hatsuyuki ensured that one of the pirates met their end, a swift stab through the back, and out through their chest. For the other, he allowed his Chilled Aura to sap the strength from their body, knocking the air out of their lungs, leaving them to face a slow and inevitable demise as they struggled in the water.

In this moment, as he executed his duty, Hatsuyuki's mind was a whirlwind of emotions. The clash between his inner struggles and the demands of the mission created a complex tapestry within him. But despite the turmoil, he pressed on, showing unwavering determination. In the end, the echoes of his actions resounded in Asuna's declaration, "Nobody messes with Kirigakure!" While he did not make a declaration of his own, his actions were a testament to his allegiance to the village, even as he grappled with the sense of being a mere weapon. He understood that, in the grand scheme, his individuality might fade into the background, but his contribution to the Tidal team's mission, ensuring that no pirate escaped, was a critical part of the collective effort that would define the success of this operation.

Chaos was gradually unfurling, ships were being destroyed and the bodies of numerous pirates dropped into the water. Many were dead, others were fighting for the lives even despite the great disadvantage they were under. Some part of her couldn't help but respect the persistence but in the end that's all it was and it didn't affect her goals in any meaningful way. She was determined to kill them all and that was what she was going to do. And she could feel that her teammates felt similarly, even if their exact thoughts on the matter differed from her own.

As she looked out over the battlefield and ruminated, she was of course dashing forward all the while. As she ran she noticed that one of the pirates Hatsuyuki had attacked was still alive, though struggling. It honestly seemed just a bit cruel so perhaps in a act of mercy, rather than simply letting them drown she briefly changed course, pulling a kunai out of her pouch. Once within appropriate distance she threw it towards the struggling pirate, aiming to impale their chest.

And with that she turned her attention back towards the main shipyard, frowning as she began moving forward once more while keeping an eye on her surroundings. They were making some progress but there was still work to be done towards their primary objective. "We should really pick up the pace here... We need to strike fast and hard right at their core." she spoke, though of course she wasn't about to go against it if either of her teammates had anything else to say on the matter. She just couldn't but be a bit worried that all they had done so far was just destroy a couple ships and kill off some stragglers... Honestly so far it all seemed a bit too easy.

Nishiki glanced at his little underlings for moment, accessing their situation and seeing that they were holding up quite well and Hatsuyuki in particular was showing the promise he was looking for.
However Asuna was probably right as it seemed one of the largest ships yet had actually started to pull out from the very core of the port, the pirates on board seemingly managing to pull themselves together to get fully shipshape.

The ship was starting to move slow but its nose began to emerge from a further along dock as a captain even commanded everyone onboard, putting a grin on the fox's face as he swiftly dashed across the water and past his own tornado zone.
Cannons on the ship actually began firing at the squad, more particularly the bannin that seemed to be curving round in front and dodging the blasts left and right but the other two had a couple launched at them also.

As Nishiki dashed against the waves and span to face the large ship a magenta glow came about him as he then expelled a terribly large wave of his own, sending a mass of water crashing into the ship and in turn pushing it back towards the docks whilst sweeping many pirates off their feet and some overboard.
The pirate captain did unfortunately manage to a powerful leap through the wave and took the place of a cannoneer who got swept away and immediately aimed the massive frontal cannon at the kirigakure beast, sending a powerful blast right at him.

Luckily the Tsukino wasn't just a sitting duck and sprung right up into the air level with the captain, a huge splash erupting from were he once stood from the combination of his own force and the force of the ball that struck the sea.
Hands laid upon both swords as eyes rapidly scanned the topside of the ship almost as if locking onto opponents, then with a tense pressure the incorporeal became corporeal as the sky behind gallant champion appeared to condense at his feet and then crack apart and erupt like thunder as he then burst at the captain and slashed cleanly through his neck.

Other pirates began to stumble back to the feet after being washed away by the wave, some staggering toward the intruder but they were utterly too slow; with another crack of the air the beast burst through another couple staggering about near each other and then another boom as he zoomed to another boom as he whipped across to another target and slashed through them.
There was a total of 10 crackling booms as Nishiki ricocheted from pirate to pirate, slicing each one clean apart, the tenth leading him back to front of the large up in the air almost exactly were he was before as swords were returned to their sheathes and a rapid set of handseals emerged in their place perhaps recognisable ones if anyone had the eyes for it.

The same kind of burst of fire erupted across the large ship blasting it apart here and there, though this one was indeed rather large and still soaked from the suiton so things were less effective compared to before and in fact the interior cannons started emerging with pirates spurred on to keep firing like madmen even as flames coursed through the wood.
Also as usual some pirates were dropping out the ship and beginning to swim but one crazy fellow had some sort of hooked rope and managed to fling himself at the aerial bannin, though with a surprising twist in the air he simply kicked the man right back into the ship before dropping to the water with absolute grace.

The adept can launch themselves skywards a number of yards equal to their strength. By kicking against the air with such force that they create a shockwave behind them, they can repeat these jumps off of the air itself and sustain this pseudo-flight as long as their Endurance allows. They move in arcs, always falling downwards towards the end of their arc, and 1/2 Speed.

Aerial Thundercrash Ricochet
A-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Prerequisite(s): Aerobatics, Heavenly Body Control, 35 Strength.
The user tenses and surges their strength in the air causing it to compress and become almost physical like a wall as they then propel off of it, causing the air to crack and burst apart behind them with a sound almost like thunder. This allows the user to turn around and zoom through the air as if leaping from the ground itself and can be done in quick succession up to 10 times, not needing to tense up beyond the first which makes further uses faster if maintained for those 10 uses.

Hatsuyuki nodded at Asuna as he watched her ruthlessly dispatch the pirate he had left incapacitated in the water. His expression was calm, but a hint of doubt flickered in his eyes as he acknowledged her actions. "I suppose that was a bit cruel, huh?" he mused softly, his voice carrying a hint of introspection. The internal struggle within him was evident, torn between the demands of the mission and his own moral compass.

As the cannon fire roared around them, Hatsuyuki swiftly shifted his focus back to the task at hand. With determination, he followed their team leader, his lithe form disappearing beneath the water's surface. Unlike traditional swimming, he employed the Water Walking technique to navigate through the depths with remarkable speed and precision. Emerging from the water in proximity to the targeted ship, a sinister transformation overtook his blades. Black Ice, his signature Hyouton jutsu, encased his weapons once more. However, this time, it took on a more menacing form, crafting serrated, saw-like teeth along the edges of his blades.

Hatsuyuki recognized that their team leader had the situation well in hand aboard the ship. His role was clear - to ensure that no pirate who had been thrown overboard would escape. With the cruel efficiency of a shinobi who had seen his fair share of battles, he set to work. Each swing of his icy blades was calculated and precise. As they cut into the flesh of the struggling pirates, the jagged teeth of the Black Ice shattered upon impact, embedding themselves within the wounds. The consequences were swift and horrifying. The affected flesh began to wither and darken, taking on an ominous shade of blue, a telltale sign of the lethal Hyouton's influence. In this brutal ballet of destruction, Hatsuyuki's actions were born of necessity. His inner turmoil remained, a silent companion to his relentless pursuit of the mission's objectives. The pirates who had thought they could escape the wrath of the Tidal team soon discovered that they faced a relentless force, one driven by duty and bound by the unforgiving laws of Kirigakure.

Kurokoriton Sentou: Frigid Laceration
D-Rank Ninjutsu
The technique commences with the infusion of the user's chakra into their weapon, resulting in the emergence of serrated, jagged edges resembling saw teeth along the blade's edge. When this weapon strikes the intended target, the one-inch teeth-like structures on the blade detach and embed themselves into the wound. Subsequently, a process of necrosis is initiated, dictated by the user's [Control] attribute, as the Kurokoriton infiltrates the victim's cells. The blade retains these teeth-like protrusions for a duration of three posts, unless they are dislodged prior to that.

Asuna's couldn't help but click her tongue in annoyance as her concern turned out to be founded as the largest ship they had seen yet began pulling out of port and began firing at them. And yet while annoyed, she wasn't otherwise worried about it. They were shinobi of Kirigakure after all, and their opponents were just a ragtag bunch of pirate scum. With that in mind she sped up her pace as she followed after her companions, diving underwater just as Hatsuyuki did, moving through the ocean depths alongside him.

Once in close proximity to the ship she emerged from the water, drawing her sword and impaling the nearest pirate as she came up from underneath them. With a satisfied smile she drew back her blade and got into her stance, footing steady and chakra flowing to her feet as she stood on the water's surface. "Even after all this, they still haven't learned their lesson. The Captain is slaughtering their main ship, numerous allies have fallen, and yet they still think they can fight back, even possibly escape." she mused to herself, letting out a chuckle. She couldn't say she felt no remorse at all for what they were doing but it was necessary, she just had to remind herself that they were doing a public service for eradicating a group of scum that had possibly caused much more damage, much more suffering than was currently being inflicted to them.

With that thought in mind she dashed forward, making deliberate strikes with her sword at each pirate she passed, aiming for vitals so as not to prolong any suffering felt. Right now that was the only kind of mercy she could afford to show. Nishiki swiftly moved to take further action after briefly eyeing his younger companions, noting Hatsuyuki's capabilities as he continued to monitor his potential as a dagger.
The man dashed round the left side of the ship and stepped up the outside as the chakra flowing through his feet now held him horizontally as he pushed to to an open cannon entrance, whereupon he would immediately stab the person controlling it through the opening and dashed along to the next.
Moving across the edge of the ship the foxy man stabbed each cannoneer as he passed until he made his way to the back where he then leapt back to the ground, then with a spin and aglow with magenta channelling he thrust a shot of wind across the boat which caught the blaze and strengthened it.

With the flames boosted thanks to the fuuton a burning heat rippled further along the entire wooden structure causing splinters to rupture and pirates in the lower parts started dropping like flies, the rest of the cannons no longer manageable as it spread throughout.
"Time to really speed things up and end it" Nishiki then said with a grin as he made haste inwards towards the land.

Once the bannin approached the land some stragglers turned to him, thoughts on if they could jump the monster crossing their mind but hesitation halted them and it was too late as his hands moved in a untraceable flurry before he stomped on the ground.
The coast began to rumble and before the hesitating pirates knew it they were flung into the air, rocks pelting their bodies as a whole 105m radius of ground around Nishiki began shattering and exploding which even rumbled into the water with the shallow parts rupturing through many small boats and what was left of the larger ships were pelted with irreparable damage.

The inner parts of the docks and outer parts of the land seemed rather decimated whilst turmoilling waves erupted out towards the outer parts, dragging many a pirate under water as their bodies scraped against sea floor.
Nishiki was certain the younger shinobi would be able to handle the increased ferocity of the waves at this distance but he turned to watch and make sure, not only of their safety but to assess the situation as a whole as the earth around him continued to explode in a shattering quake.

By channelling fuuton chakra and bringing their hands to their mouth, the user can release a wide blast of air. This wave of air moves outward in a cone shape with a 25m width at the end of the cone and moves with [Control] Speed. Once it makes contact with a substance, the wind both cuts at it and pushes it away with [Control] strength. This blast goes out for a maximum of 25m if it doesn't hit anything, where it will dissipate into the surrounding air.

The user channels doton chakra and slams down into the earth causing it to shatter and rumble like an intense earthquake. This quake tears apart the ground as it spreads all around the user up to 65m away in all directions, constantly shattering and rumbling the earth like an ongoing turmoil of explosions that moves around at [control] speed and strength for up to 3 posts.

Hatsuyuki's attention was momentarily captivated by Nishiki's awe-inspiring display of combat prowess. The chaotic dance of fire and fury that the Bannin executed held him in rapt fascination. However, this fleeting distraction was enough for a cunning escaping pirate to seize the opportunity and drag Hatsuyuki beneath the water's surface in a desperate attempt to drown him.

As water pressed in around him, Hatsuyuki acted swiftly, a testament to his ninja training and resilience. Gathering a substantial reserve of chakra within his right hand, he channeled it with intense focus, even as he grappled with his relentless assailant. The energy surged through his hand, ready to enact his carefully honed ninjutsu. As his chakra-infused hand met the attacker's arm, there was a distinct shift in the man's grip. The vice-like hold that threatened to drag Hatsuyuki into the abyss began to slacken, slowly but surely. The realization dawned upon the pirate that he was no longer in control, and panic flashed in his eyes.

Hatsuyuki, a cruel smile curling on his lips, watched as his ninjutsu took effect with brutal precision. It was an art he had mastered, one that ensured compliance in the most unforgiving of ways. The air was forcibly expelled from the pirate's lungs, a crushing sensation that left him gasping and helpless. The cruel smile remained as Hatsuyuki's wakizashi, glinting ominously, found its mark. With ruthless efficiency, he plunged the blade into the man's stomach. The searing pain coursed through the pirate's body, his cry silenced by the water, and his life hung by a thread. Hatsuyuki was unrelenting in his purpose. He withdrew the wakizashi, leaving the pirate to suffer in agony. With a powerful kick, he propelled himself upwards through the water, breaking free from the pirate's desperate clutches.

Emerging from the water, he gasped for air, the sensation of cool sea spray hitting his face a stark contrast to the depths he had just navigated. His head broke the surface, and amidst the glistening droplets, he couldn't help but flash Asuna a sheepish grin. It was as if his expression conveyed an unspoken apology for the slight delay, a subtle acknowledgment of the urgency of their mission.

With a resolute sense of purpose, he summoned his chakra, allowing it to infuse his movements. Using the Water Walking technique, he defied gravity, appearing to almost skim across the water's surface. His lithe figure danced along the liquid expanse as if it were a practiced art, each step a testament to his skill. Closing the distance to the shore with purpose, he aimed to regroup with Nishiki. The salt-laden breeze played with his attire, his clothing billowing slightly as he sped towards his destination. The beachhead was in sight, and it was here, amidst the roar of the waves, that the Tidal team would converge, ready to unleash their collective power on the peninsula. The rush of water beneath him and the urgency of the mission had washed away any trace of hesitation. As he neared the shore, the determination in his gaze mirrored his unwavering commitment to their cause. In this moment, words were unnecessary; their actions would speak volumes.

The user prepares a quantity of hyouton chakra within one of their limbs or weapons to begin this technique, and then attempts to make contact with an target. Upon striking, the hyouton will surge through the point of contact and into the target's body, shocking them with a painful burst of intense cold and rapidly cooling the air within their lungs, resulting in a loss of -3 strength of the next four posts.

Asuna shared a brief look with Hatsuyuki as he emerged from his scuffle, acknowledging his presence with a nod and a small smile. That pirate had been cunning for sure but there was no way even the most witty of pirates could stand up to a Kiri shinobi.

As she approached the beachfront to regroup with Nishiki she suddenly had an idea. "I think it's time to let a friend out to play." she muttered to herself as she began channeling, the glow of chakra soon making way for a cloud of smoke. As the smoke cleared she would be sitting side saddle on the back of a massive dragon swimming along. Aranosa wasn't the fastest creature around but he was very large and with a mighty beat of his wings he propelled through the water with relative ease, plowing through the waves. As an unintentional side effect he was however blasting his master with seawater, the girl unable to help a cough and sneeze, though giggling all the while.

"I should try to teach you proper swimming etiquette." she spoke to the dragon with a scolding tone as they walked onto land. Just as soon however she smiled, pointing over towards the village. "For now though we have a job to do, you see that over there? It's time to let loose, to rip and tear and show these folks that we mean business." she instructed her companion, hopping down as the dimwitted dragon nodded in understanding. He didn't understand much in his current state but he did understand this much and that was good enough for Asuna, for now at least.

And with that she turned towards her other two allies. "I hope you don't mind the giant lizard. Trust me, he's only going to be of great use to us. Now let's do this, let's get this mission wrapped up."

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The base technique for summoning, the Spiritualism Technique allows users to bring forth their summons to fight on their behalf. Once an agreement has been made between the user and their summon, they will be able to use this technique to call upon it at any time unless stated otherwise. The chakra used for this technique varies, as it is dependent on the size and rank of what is being summoned. Once it has been summoned, the initial cost of the summon is equivalent to its rank. It is paid upon being summoned and then the same cost is paid as often as follows:

Nishiki was briefly shocked to see Hatsuyuki dragged under water but he held no real fear and as expected he soon re-emerged having slayed his foe, whereupkn doing so moved to regroup with the gallant fox.
Asuna similarly moved ahead as she summoned a peculiar, death ridden lizard-like creature that one might call a zombified dragon that ripped its way through the waters like a poor mannered fool.

With a command the summoned creature made haste to cause havoc and wreck destruction just as the team was ,and with it Nishiki made one last attempt of his own as he surged with a grand and powerful chakra.
The bannin felt his chakra rippling through the turmoilling rocks which he then grasped at; his hands turned into claws as if physically gripping the unseen and his arms raised up causing the rocks and dirt to rise into the air under his new command.
"Lets end this" he then commented as his companions approached.

The Tsukino then started waving his his arms and tails about, sending the earthen mass weapon into any final survivors he could find and into their ships, docks and any of the remains of buildings. The man held pristine mastery over rocks as even his nine tails commanded their trajectory and finalised their mission objective.
"We should rendezvous with the others and finish off any living pirates wee see along the way" he then added, turning towards the village and stepping inwards, a mass of rocks following the group as he kept up the kinesis still, throwing what was required here and there until the end of the mission finally proved successful.
"That was... sort of fun" Yoshimitsu then commented in the man's mind, chortling just a little bit as they finished cleaning up all the pirates and essentially destroying the whole place.

The range at which the user can manipulate the element is equal to the user's control times 2 metres. While the user can freely manipulate this element, they cannot produce the element naturally.

Nishiki has mastered his body as a Tsukino and as such all his bodily mutations are like natural extensions to normal human features, in particular his tails can be manoeuvred like any other regular appendages and can be used with the full skill of his arms and legs.

Nishiki has trained himself in his Taijutsu and Kinesis prowess in unison forming the combination of both skills side by side, allowing Nishiki the ability to weave Kinesis seamlessly within his hand to hand combat. This discipline reflects that training, allowing him to use the bodily movement of his Taijutsu as a means of shaping and manipulating elements using Kinesis. What results is a perfect marriage of the two skills, his Taijutsu skills enhanced by his Kinesis and vice versa.
