Ignorance sat atop a dust-covered pedestal within the sunken lecture pit at the center of the room of the grand, dilapidated circular hall located within the former Tea Country now overtaken by Water Country, once a place of study for those wishing to become engineers to serve. The general disrepair of the hall spoke to neglect; plaster peeled from the walls, and dust covered every surface, the once-gilded edges and intricate carvings muted by the layer of it. Despite the decay, a sense of solemnity remained, as if the hall still held the echoes of its former glory and the secrets it once contained.

The halls carried an air of faded grandeur with a towering domed ceiling and tall arched windows allowing shafts of light to penetrate the dim interior decorated with columns and statues adorning alcoves around the perimeter, giving the space a sense of antiquity and reverence. An upper section of pews and stained glass provided a section for onlookers to watch the active lecture or gain a better vantage point. Staircases and platforms encircled the lecture pit to allow for students to debate the lesson or other ideas while off to the side another set of stairs went even deeper into the structure.

Oh, how the wheel turns.

Kinsue was almost unrecognisable compared to what he had once been. Gone was the cloak of his younger days, the shorter hair, the naivety he had born so long ago; the last time he had chased down this particular legend. Instead, he proudly wore the flak jacket of his village as he scaled the exterior wall of the hall. A kunai slipped under the windowsill, enough to pry it open, and he slipped into one of the building’s upper galleries, closing the widow behind him.

He looked towards the centre of the room, seeing the wide-open arena. More importantly, there was the ring yet again. Ignorance, a weapon he had owned once years ago. He lacked the strength to keep it once – too weak to prevent it from abandoning him. But he was not the boy he once was.

For years, he had kept an ear open for any sign of the weapon. For years, he had heard nothing. By the time the Sunagakure shinobi became known for his use of it, Kinsue had already left for civilian service. Yet he was returned now, and the Sunagakure shinobi had died. The ring had been free to find once more, to those informed enough to find it. Kinsue had always kept informed.

The open space looked more than threatening to his eye, with no room to hide and plenty for threats to present themselves in. Most unlike the quieter overlook he had entered into. The man formed a swift pair of hand seals, and out from him formed a perfect duplicate. The one who could move down and claim the ring for themself.

After all, he was not Ignorant of the risks involved.

The shadow clone nodded and formed hand seals of his own. The real Kinsue would begin to see the clone’s skin change its hue, as his blood shifted and formed a protective layer underneath. It never hurt to be too careful in such a situation.

The original version of the Karagata would watch from the sidelines, ducking into the shadows between the pews and one of the galleries’ segmented walls. The clone would jump over the intervening barrier, landing gently on the ground floor of the hall. A few steps later, and he was before the ring once more.

He felt its presence, as he once had years ago, calling to him. Yet it was harsher now, grating against the senses of the clone. As his hand reached for it, he felt waves of heat radiating from the legend. Blistering heat. The clone’s hand pulled back, frowning.

He thought the ring would be his, once more. Yet now he stood rejected.

Prerequisite: *[Ninjutsu • Shadow Clone Technique]
After performing the correct hand seals the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the user's Chakra Pool). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own, be given complex commands, be caught in genjutsu, and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for Chakra Pool, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect. The advantage of this form of the technique is that once dispersed, the chakra distributed to the clones returns to the user, allowing any un-used chakra to be regained, slowing the draining usage of this technique. The chakra returns to the user at a different rate depending on the user's control.

A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: [Featherstep] or *Fuuton • Wind Skating
The user has learned to move with exceptional care and finesse, lightening the tread of their feet and stepping with extreme care or by marginally levitating their feet with a subconscious application of fuuton chakra. This allows the user to move without detriment while eliminating all traces of their passing, leaving no physical sign. Additionally, the user can move as normal without triggering physical traps such as pressure plates or tripwires. If moving via fuuton, the swirling chakra additionally scours away any scent left behind by the user. If moving via careful physical steps, the user leaves no residue of chakra use. The lightfooted nature of this stance can impart a boost to speed of up to +12, at the cost of a corresponding debuff to Strength as the user primes their muscles for swift and gentle movement rather than power.

Under Armor
D-Rank Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals or channelling, the user will form a layer of blood under their skin. This layer functions as a full body armour, forming at [40] Speed and protecting the user with [40] Strength. Any Chiton-related techniques the user utilises will be able to pass through the armour without destroying it. After five posts, the armour will revert to the consistency of normal blood.

Yamato had been in the area for a week at this point. He had been dispatched on a mission in this region of Water Country formerly controlled by Heart in search of an assassination target hiding out. The man had a lot of debt and rather than pay it off, he had decided to attack and flee when the sharks had come to collect. A secondary objective, a message from the Family, about reports of a legendary weapon, some ring, being in the same area. Filing the info away just incase, it hadn't taken long for Yamato to find the man and collect a souvenir to prove he had finished the job. At the end of it, he had decided to recuperate within a broken down lecture hall rather than make the trip back home immediately. The white haired shinobi climbed up the side of the building, using the nooks and crannies to pull himself up to one of the windows.

On the opposite side of the building of Kinsue's entrance, Yamato's fingers scratched against the glass as he tried to find some sort of lip or clasp to let him in. With an annoyed click of his tongue, his fingers finally found a seam in the glass. Withdrawing one of his kunai, the Kaguya slipped the tip of the blade into the seam and pried the glass open far enough for him to crawl over the edge of the window and into the building. Yamato reholstered the blade as he crept his way towards the edge of the upper gallery and glanced around, his eyes trying to see if anyone else was here with the aid of the beaming sunlight streaming in from the skylight above. He didn't see anyone until he made it to the barrier where he was rewarded with the sight of someone trying to reach for a suspiciously familiar ring, only to be repelled by some force.

"Seems it doesn't like you. Why don't you step away from the fancy ring?" Yamato called out from above and over the barrier while he went through a series of hand seals. Underneath his skin, two layers of armor formed in preparation for a fight.

The user will channel and cause a layer of bone to ossify underneath their skin along with a layer of blood to pool between them. The ossified bone will protect the user with [Strength] Strength while the Chiton layer provides its own protection with [Control] Strength.

The clone was about to try someone else with the seemingly obstinate ring when he heard a call from another of the galleries. A young man with bone-white hair and the characteristic markings of the Kaguya was the source of the disturbance. Seemingly threatening him and, what’s more, forming seals for a jutsu. Instinctually, Kinsue began forming seals of his own while his mind raced. Was this not an ally? He didn’t recall any Nukenin who matched the man’s description, and he was unmistakably a Kaguya. Perhaps Kinsue would ordinarily have tried to open a dialogue, settle any misunderstandings, but the tension in Kiri had been too high recently. Aggression would be answered with aggression.

The clone did not notice, but the ring cooled slightly as he began his technique.

He would hold his ground, unwilling to move back from the ring even if that would’ve been his ordinary tactic. Thankfully, the speed of his seals was immense, helped along by his apparent greater skill in his art. Despite the slight head start the Kaguya had, both jutsu would complete at the same time, and as Yamato's armour was made a ball of suiton chakra would form at Kinsue’s shoulder. It was one of the few jutsu he knew that was not an immediate attack – even the pressures on him were not enough to completely overcome his caution - and so the suiton would hover gently for now.

With a defence in hand, Kinsue would call out to the stranger. ”The ring is mine, Kaguya. Don’t try something you’ll regret.” He doubted it would do much to dissuade the man, especially given the less-than-ideal position he appeared to be in with Yamato a mere 25 metres away and in possession of the high ground. At least, he was grateful to be a clone. The real Kinsue would be capable of putting an end to Yamato if the need arose.

The real Kinsue continued to watch from the shadows as the new arrival made his strange entrance. Little surprise that others were chasing the ring, even if he had hoped to arrive before the others. In any case, It seemed inevitable now that a fight was about to break out.

His greatest asset now was the element of surprise, assuming the Kaguya didn’t have anything similar up his sleeve. Instead of taking any overt action, he would stay put, watching keenly as Yamato and his clone made their move, and beginning to discern the exact capabilities of his opponent.

Picture seems to be roughly 3 concentric circle segments of similar width, with the central circle being probably the smallest. So going with the central circle (up to the stairs and podiums) being diameter 20 meters, then each ring (the lower ring and the galleries) being 30 metres wide each. Thus, when Yamato clears the barrier he’d be about 25 metres from clone Kinsue, and 55-ish meters from the real Kinsue

After forming the correct hand seals, Kinsue will produce a large ball of water with a diameter of 50 centimetres (scaled to 12.5 metres). This object will remain near Kinsue's shoulder, and is capable of moving at [control] speed in order to do so, until it is released by Kinsue through the use of a single extra hand seal. Once this hand seal has been formed, the water will move in a direction of Kinsue's choosing at [40] speed, and will explode outwards with [40] strength upon impact. The ADS will only be active for 4 posts after creation, and will dissipate if not used by then.

Kinsue has trained himself to be able to spot subtle identifiers of physical ability. By observing a target and their interaction with their environment for one post, he is able to determine the physical stats (Strength, Speed, and Endurance) of the target. Kinsue must be within 60 meters of the target in order to use this technique.

"Ring is nice and all but I think I'm more interested in you. Don't I know you from somewhere?" Done with his first set of hand seals and the twin layers of armor sitting ready, Yamato decided to keep talking to try and goad the opponent into making a move or even an early mistake as his right hand went to the row of gallery seating within arm's reach. The row was made of four seating different sections lined up to provide adequate room for any would be listeners or viewers of the lectures once held within the hall. With no bolts to keep the seating row glued to the floor, his fingers gripped it's sturdy wooden back before he hoisted it up in the air for a moment with a slow, deliberate movement so as not to spook the shinobi below into attacking. Just yet, anyway.

"Gotta be from Kiri, knowing I'm a Kaguya and all. Name's Yamato, and you?" He asked, waiting just a moment for Kinsue to respond before launching the pew down towards him. Yamato's right hand immediately joined his left when it exited his throwing motion and the digits began to run through a short, simple set of hand seals while taking position with his arms and fingers out towards Kinsue. Blood began to quickly seep up from beneath his finger tips and form into a condensed orb in front of him before firing in the same trajectory as the pew, intended to use the makeshift projectile as cover for the real attack lying in wait, aimed at Kinsue's chest.

The user will channel and cause blood to seep from their fingertips and form into a beam of compressed blood. The beam can be fired at [35] Strength and Speed while being able to alter its direction up to 90 degrees thrice to chase a target.

Once again, the location of a legendary weapon had reached the ears of Anbu. And once again it would be Kirigakure shinobi that stood in their way. Dressed in his Anbu attire and adorned with a red bird-shaped mask, the young captain known as Tengu arrived on the scene. Already his Byakugan was activated as he entered the arena. Instantly he assessed the three threats and then noted the ring, unclaimed in the center of the room. He began channelling chakra, coating his body in a protective layer as he drew his sword, willing it to separate. His prize, won by defeating Shiimu Kozan, would fragment and launch toward the center of the room. The thousands of shards would encroach on the pedestal, aiming to shred Kinsue’s shadow clone before circling around the ring and lacerating anyone who remained within 2 meters of it.

Next, Tengu would strafe in the opposite direction of the real Kinsue, circling around and attempting to stand opposite him across the room while drawing his bow and quickly launching three arrows. He would ensure the first two arched around cover appropriately, one aimed from either side of Kinsue, while the last would ricochet off one of the arched walls and aim to strike him from behind. Each shot was aimed center mass at 40 Strength and Speed. There was no reason to waste any time. He intended to strike hard and fast. And even as he attacked Kinsue and his clone, he remained aware of the white-haired shinobi’s position. Takeshi would attempt to keep his distance from the man for now and would prepare to take shots at him as well if he tried to approach or attack Takeshi. But for the moment, the young operative was content to make this skirmish a 2v2. Even with his chakra split, this man seemed formidable and was likely the greatest threat.

The user channels chakra, flowing it in a thin layer across their body, including their hands and head. This amor has a strength of [50] and forms at [20] speed. This aura of chakra can also be formed on others, though only one person per cast, so long as they are within 25 meters of the user. This layer of chakra does not impede movement, normal bodily functions, or the ability to perform hand seals in any way.

“Harness It”
Anger is a rather simple-looking sword approximately 3 feet in length, with a single-bladed edge, and a hilt that appears to vary in size to fit the user’s hand perfectly. Unlike the other Great Evils, Anger in this form cannot be controlled, though has a strength equal to the weapon stat. However, by running their free hand along the blade, the blade will split into 1,000 tiny blades that fill a 2x2x2m area. The blades can be controlled like a swarm, and the user is granted an 'Anger' weapon stat which functions as the “swarm's” synch stat.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After much training and study, the practitioner has learned how to read an opponent's movements and adjust their aim accordingly to compensate without penalty. This Discipline allows the practitioner to accurately hit moving targets, though sudden changes in the opponent's movements will still affect accuracy.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner can launch projectiles in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. The practitioner must still be able to locate their target by some other means to ensure the projectile will hit its target.

*[Flawless Aim Style • Bouncing Shot] (1 arrow, 39 Str/Spd)
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner launches a projectile at a shallow angle, targeting the ground or a hard surface. The shallow angle of the shot causes the projectile to bounce off of the surface, moving at -1 Speed and striking with -1 Strength after the bounce. This technique can be used to launch an attack from an unexpected angle or to shoot around, over, or under obstacles.

Hotaru had been reading upon the Legendary weapons around the world, one of her agents had stumbled upon a rumor, that slowly turned out to be a reality, especially when movements seemed to indicate it. She entered Water Country, which had been a while since she had come here, a shiver crept down her spine as she thought back to the day she encounter Aimi, luckily the man was dead so she didn't have to worry about him anymore, and with Heart proving that the grounds could be invaded she figured that she was at the point in her career that venturing out to Water Country might not spell her demise, or so she hoped.

Normally I would've sent out an agent for this but... Seeing as the ring might be true, I might as well attempt to get it. Hotaru knew that her agents wouldn't dare to take it for themselves but in the off shoot chance that it would happen, then she would blame herself, so here she was, climbing up to one of the southward windows. She used her hidden blade to pry open one of the windows, silently, then crep in.

I have successfully infiltrated the... Auditorium? Hotaru wasn't sure what to call this room, it appeared to look like a giant hall where men of important stature spoke about politics and the likes. The spy using her moniker Yoho would slowly move up towards the one of the pews, her cloak was draped over her but not yet activated as she used the shadows to hide her figure.

Her silent movements would not arouse any suspicions unless they were a master of tracking, so for now she would watch and gather as much intel as she could. The ghost of Kumogakure inspected the battle up ahead and was shocked to see how fast everything turned to shit. She managed to catch the Kaguya putting on what appeared to be a blood armor of sorts, she sensed that the shadow clones real body was not too far off and that another had joined the fray, this one was someone she had contacted before, Takeshi.

This... Is... Not ideal. She cursed under her breath, she knew that she wasn't adapt in an all out war situation such as this as her forte was to gather intel and fight in a one on one situation, so for now she would do just that, gather intel. She spotted how the ring was being protected by Takeshi's legendary weapon, Anger, which caused her to sigh inaudibly.

Okay, so I can't just run and grab the ring and leave, I'll have to wait for Takeshi to recall the sword. Hotaru's eyes narrowed as she spotted how the arrows flew towards what she believed would be the real Kinsue, all the while making sure that Yamato didn't escape her minds eye as she wasn't too certain that the man had any good intentions. One of these people are my allies, the rest are my enemies, though I am certain that the ring will probably force us to engage one way or another... Unless. Hotaru rubbed her chin, this fight was really not in her favour, the arena was far too open for her liking and the amount of hiding spaces were slim, though with her cloak and silence movement she was pretty confident that she could slip in and out if needed.

She deactivated clairvoyance for now as she needed to conserve as much energy as possible for when the time would come for her to engage in battle, this battle royale was hopefully going to be a quick in and out mission as she had no real qualms with killing enemies of the state, but to waste time and energy when the main objective was the ring put her in an awkward position.

Having mastered the art of stealth and noise reduction, the user is able to run, land and even strike in total silence, the user is able to mask their noise as long as their opponent doesn't have an equal or greater [Perception] tech.

Prerequisite: [Perception], Scopaesthesia, Audiothesia, Vibrothesia
The user has trained their body to react to even the most minute changes in the atmosphere. They are able to pick up changes in air pressure, the slightest of sounds, taste alterations to smells, see the most slight of movements, and vibrations from every movement. Everything within within 160m will appear within the users minds eye and giving them a description of the vicinity, able to track targets and even alert the user from surprise attacks.

This was getting to be too much. Now, in addition to the Kaguya there seemed to be an ANBU agent come to battle; and all this for a ring that had rejected him before and clearly hadn’t reversed that decision. Much more importantly, Kinsue realised that he had forgotten the promise he had made to his nephew nearly a year ago; to make sure he didn’t miss another of the boy’s birthdays.

His familial bonds were far more important to him than any ring. Rather than continue to watch while the Konoha nin formed his armour and unleashed his own legendary weapon; the man would turn and begin running for the window. With a swift kick, the glass would shatter; and Kinsue would leap out of the building. If anyone looked out from the improvised exit, they would see the shinobi sprinting at an unusually high pace back to Kirigakure.

Kinsue’s clone, having realised his mistake at the same moment as his real version, was caught off his focus as the trio of attacks were launched at him. He would be destroyed, his jutsu exploding uselessly against nothing. The ring was anyone’s game.

The Heart Intelligence was getting better. In fact, way better. The Empire had been getting stronger by the day and Jiro was assigned a mission to go out and seek the legendary weapon. OR at the very least, figure out who is leaving with it. Before the Kisama Warrior could even get to the location he hard mass rumblings. He was late to the party! The man quickly manifested his bloodline's technique and created an armor over his entire body. The armor itself had holes in it, allowing him to be faster than he normally was.

The man ran through the entrance only to see a clone explode as a ring would seemingly fly to the ground. With a quick evaluation of the area, Jiro would see two figures, one close to the ring and another one with a mask on gripping a bow. What should he do before the attention is brought onto him... Well, one thing is for certain, the ring was fair game. There was an ugly man with white hair close to the ring, So Jiro had decided to try the next best thing. SPRINT

Jiro took his full speed and jumped over the ledge to attempt to run and grab the ring first. His mind was alert and based on the angle he jumped from, he had a vision of both the boney/bloody guy and the masked warrior with black hair. As the man jumped down, he would form 5 kunai with his left arm The kunai would stack going up the entirety of his arm. With his left, he would whip a kunai at the masked figure. After whipping the kunai, the other 4 would move down as if his arm was an assembly line. He would then whip another kunai and shoot it at the white haired man as well. The kunai would continue to move down his arm to replace the spot as Jiro would continue to run towards the ring.

Turning and changing the body isn't uncommon. By focusing on the blood throughout the entire body, the Kisama clan member creates an armor throughout their body. However this armor has holes all throughout their body. This creates a wind vacuum allowing the user to move faster for a longer period of time. This gives the user up to +6 in speed at the cost of up to -6 Will Power.

By focusing their blood into their hands, the clan member will make up to five kunai, ten shuriken, fifteen senbon, or other similar implements following similar size restrictions. Like other low-rank tools, these will stay attached to the clan member, but with a flick of the wrist or other such movements, the implements will fly off as if thrown by the clan member.

A...lot happened, all at once.

One minute he was the only one attacking the man at the pedestal and the next, the man exploded to reveal it was a clone. The jutsu at Kinsue-Clone's shoulder destabilized as the swarm of sword pieces tore through it and exploded all over the platform, destroying the thrown bench as it approached and was caught in the blast. The explosion caused the entire building to rumble for a moment as dust and loose debris fell from the rafters into the podium area. Then, there was an ANBU operative, based on the mask worn, firing arrows into the opposite gallery where he saw a window burst and a figure running away.

Ok, guess the runner was the original of the clone. The ANBU operative hadn't focused on him ye-

Yamato's thoughts were interrupted again as a figure armored in brass burst through the door and raced towards the podium where the ring was, surrounded by the swarm of sword pieces. The man continued to run straight at it and INTO the shards surrounding it like a buzz saw while throwing a kunai at Yamato. Due to his high ground and watching everything before the brash man joined, he easily sidestepped the kunai with a quick step to his left.

His jutsu, unlike the bench, had survived the explosion and as it hit the floor of the podium, below the swarm of blade pieces, it would ricochet up and towards Ginjiro's chest aiming to pierce him through, if the sword pieces hadn't already turned his armor and flesh into minced meat.

It seemed the young operative didn’t need to move very far after all. He had moved down the stairs, past the statues and fired off his arrows, preparing to strafe further to the east to avoid his target. But after his anger swarm destroyed what was apparently a clone, his second target retreated through a window. That was easier than expected. However, instead of being able to focus on the white-haired blood user now, two others swiftly entered the building. The Anbu operative moved to the side, notching another arrow as a large man ran barrelling past him, leaping over the raised pedestal Takeshi had been standing on, and rushing headlong into the cloud of blades. Byakugan still active, Takeshi observed the way the Chiton technique changed directions, ensuring the large man that rushed in would go down.

But as a kunai was tossed toward him at tremendous speed, Takeshi could only crouch, firing off an arrow to intercept the knife at a low angle, sending it glancing off into the ceiling. He hoped between Anger and the projectile of blood this hulking man would be brought down swiftly. Chanelling chakra, Takeshi would sprint westward, vaulting over the staircase as he notched another arrow and sighted in potential targets. If the large man survived or otherwise continued to be seen as a threat he would target him, but if he had been brought down his arrow would remain notched and ready to respond to any movements by the white-haired man. Ultimately, the goal was to approach the center of the room from the west, on the ground floor. He would use his own Anger swarm, swirling around ferociously as cover as the chakra around his body enveloped him in invisibility. From there, the Anbu operative would approach the swarm and it would part just enough for him to step into the center before closing back around as it continued to swirl defensively. If he managed to get inside the Anger swarm he would return his arrow to the quiver at his hip and sling his bow over his shoulder before reaching out to the legendary ring. He could feel its power, and it seemed to resonate with him, calling him. And so he would claim the ring and place it on his left hand before grasping the hilt of Anger in his right hand. With both legendary weapons in his posession, now all he needed to do was defeat those that remained or find an opening to escape.

A fundamental skill in a hunter’s repertoire, Takeshi has learned to move at up to half his speed stat without making any discernable sounds. Even in thick foliage he can identify and navigate around fragile twigs and dry leaves and step on vegetation in a way as to not make a sound and similarly even draw weapons undetected unless the opponent has an applicable perception technique of equal or greater rank.

This pseudo-camouflage technique doesn’t grant any form of true invisibility, simply it dictates Takeshi’s ability to approach and stalk his targets unseen or similarly retreat quickly. Much like the animals of the forest he can seem to disappear simply by stepping into foliage or the slightest forms of cover, knowing exactly how to navigate any natural or artificial obstructions that may present itself without exposing himself to visual observation unless his opponent has a visual perception jutsu of equal or higher rank.

After performing the necessary handseals or channelling chakra throughout their body, the user will coat themselves in a layer of chakra. This chakra will specifically distort light around the user, making the user undetectable from sight. The user can move at their full speed without disrupting this invisibility, even coating their weapons in the camouflage, however, should any of their possessions travel more than 5 meters from them the invisibility around the objects will fail. This active camouflage will persist for a duration of 7 posts.

Hotaru put on the hood and activated the invisibility cloak as she stepped out of cover, she moved to the ledge then lept onto one of the statues, always making sure that she was keeping an eye out on the battlefield. When the clone got dispersed and the real Kinsue left the arena, things started to become more clear. Tengu is trying to grab the ring for himself, while this blood guy is- Her train of thought stopped as another joined the fray, this one seemed to think that it was a good idea to bumrush the center.

She watched how he tried to cast jutsu at Takeshi and Yamato before she watched how a blood shot from the kiri would bounce off the ground, she herself would toss a senbon covered in a flash tag then leap down towards the ground, she would detonate the flash as she kept moving towards the center, she still made sure to stay away from the deathzone which was the storm created by Takeshi's legendary weapon and as he would begin to turn invisible, she reactivate clairvoyance and start sneaking about yet again.

She knew that if Tengu grabbed the ring then she would have to tag him, steal it from his possession and if worst came to worst, at least slow him down enough for her to be able to take it from him without killing the man. She had a move up her sleeve, but for now she would move in closer, she'd watch what would happen after the flash and reposition herself so that if Tengu tried to sneak out of the arena now that he was invisible then he would have to bump in to her.

As Jiro jumped down, his eagerness and not as well controlled speed got the better of him. Before he knew it, sharp shards were swirling around. In a moment, the man used his strength to stop himself while trying to cover his vitals with his arms. Although the would get ripped up a bit, Jiro was able to immediately jump back and at least save himself from fatal harm. The man looked around slightly embarrassed only to see an object flying at him. He would kick his body backwards and pivot his position after moving. His back would be towards the ring and his body would be facing the opening on the lower floor he came from. Jiro would run out basically saying f this.

Seriously? What the hell?

The dark skinned man who abruptly joined just as quickly left followed by a flash tag going off in the center as his jutsu ricochet. His Piercing Blood was halfway through the air after its change of direction towards the man before he pivoted and ran out the door. Yamato cut the control over the jutsu, the blood splashing down and around the podium and ring in a 1m radius puddle. Lucky him, due to the distance, his vision wasn't entirely blinded. Blinking at the dark spots dancing across his vision, Yamato crouched low to avoid an attack behind the barrier in front of him and began to swiftly run through a set of hand seals while his eyes peered above the barrier focusing on the podium and ring.

There. Footsteps cut through the water and to the podium on one side. Finishing his hand seals, the puddle of blood would form into an orb of blood on the far end of the podium before immediately detonating in the center of the swarm of blades in an attempt to blast anyone trying to claim the ring.

As Takeshi reached for the ring he noticed the blood surging toward the pedestal, rising out of the water that had flooded the ground. Securing the ring on his finger first, the young man channeled chakra to his feet and leapt into the air, propelling hinself upward. Instinctively he commanded Anger to form a platform beneath him, between himself and the sphere of blood. Whatever it was it didn't hurt to have an extra barrier between it and himself. And so when the blood detonated it would disperse across the entire ground floor of the building.

Still invisible, Takeshi would sight in who he believed was his last opponent, unaware of Hotaru's presence for the moment. Hos hatred compelled him to fight but the practical portion of his mind urged him to flee with the prize. He would make an attempt at least. Another burst of chakra and he would attempt to ascend through one of the glas skylights that adorned the ceiling. Anger meanwhile would move as one toward the white haired man with the intention of slicing him to ribbons, attempting to follow his movements, surround him and begin to slice him apart. The primary purpose however was to simply obscure his vision as Takeshi made his escape and once he exited the building he would recall anger to him where it would re-form into a sword and become invisible with the rest of him.

By channeling chakra to any point of their body, the user is able to summon a sudden gust of wind that will propel them with [35] Speed in the opposite direction. Conversely, this can be used to interrupt opponents and objects, propelling them away from the user simultaneously with [35] Strength. These bursts of wind can cover up to a 5-meter-wide area and propel both the user and the target outward for up to 10 meters.

Hotaru watched the action unfold, and due to her higher speed she was able to follow most of the action, she would rush out of the entrance while continuing to inspect the action, and the blades eloquently would attempt to defend Takeshi, she would toss her hook and rope and yank herself up to the skyline on the outside, she was preparing to stalk the one who held the ring and depending what happened next the hands could change. That's going to become an issue, I can't strike the man, so I have to figure out the perfect plan. She let a silent sigh release from her breath as she followed the action.

She saw how the blood would spread around the room and how the acidity would start to affect whatever it touched. Lucky me, huh? She would then inspect what the Anbu member would do before she noticed that he leaped out of the skyline, his wind blast destroying anything in its vicinity as it covered most of the arena as his sword moved towards Yamato. She was lucky that he came out through the roof and she was planning on striking him when he left the arena but for now, she would make sure to follow him and inspect where the ring was as she planned her next move.

She needed to make this short as the cloak was starting to drain her chakra, she had a couple of rounds left which would be good enough for her. She would keep her distance away from Takeshi as she was uncertain if he would do another blast but she would still make sure that she was silent and invisible, for even if he noticed that the window shattered, he would have no idea where she was as she had moved at such great speed from the place she had exited the arena. She kept a cool 30 meters away from Takeshi, which was far enough for her to keep an eye on him but close enough that if needed she would be able to rush him and grab the ring.

Takeshi launched through the skylight, moving swiftly toward the edge of the building, opposite its entrance. The shards of anger returned to him, moving through the skylight as well after serving to deter the Kirigakure shinobi. Swirling around him they would become invisible as they moved within 5 meters of himself. The operative would perform another set of hand seals and as he completed them, he would leap off the building, a veil of Fuuton chakra granting him the capabilities of flight as he moved west toward Fire country. Anger would reform around its hilt once he moved at least 50 meters from the building. All the while Takeshi would keep his Byakugan active for a few minutes longer until he was sure he wasn’t being followed and his ring hand would remain clenched tightly as he felt the power of the ring surging through him, ready to use at a moment's notice.

Unless he became aware of any potential threats, he would ascend high into the sky, several hundred meters, well out of the range of most techniques, as he traveled back to Konoha as swiftly as possible. Though the fighting had been short he had used a considerable amount of chakra and he longed to return home to rest and to report in that he had been successful in his mission to acquire another legendary weapon for Anbu.

After forming the necessary handseals Takeshi will flow Fuuton natured chakra around his body in a thin veil. Unlike most Fuuton jutsu this veil contains no cutting properties, but it does create a buffer that blows aside any airborne particulates. In addition, it allows Takeshi to soar through the air, controlling his direction at will or conversely as he typically opts to do he can rely more on the Fuuton focused around his feet, running, jumping or even rolling across the sky as if he were on solid ground, remaining in full control of his movements. This jutsu can last for a maximum of 7 posts, allowing the user to move at a speed equal to his control to a maximum of his Speed stat.

Hotaru sensed his movements and knew that it was now or never as the man would most likely make his daring escape, especially considering that he was invisible, had armor on and God knew what jutsu he was preparing. With hasty steps the spy dashed closer to Takeshi in a half-moon direction, standing 15 meters to the left of him as her cloak deactivated, revealing the spy's face (Yoho) right as she formed the single-hand seal to activate her magnetic tattoo.

"Sorry Tengu, but I can't let you leave just yet!" The spy tossed six senbons towards Takeshi then six more to change their trajectory if he tried to deflect them with his sword, this was to angle the senbons in order to not only destroy his armor but pin him down.

Yoho would toss his hook and chain to clasp his leg while the end part was tossed to stick to the ground in front, this was to anchor the man. Knowing that he would have the ability to control the sword at a speed that was a bit faster than Yoho's, he would keep an eye out but knowing that he was remarkably faster than Takeshi he would be able to tell if he tried, luckily, they were close enough to each other that even if he tried then he would have the ability to react to it.

Another senbon was thrown, this one had a flash bomb attached to it and would detonate midway as the spy would run in a zigzag motion towards Takeshi, if she managed to get close to him then the ring would surely be hers. "Do not resist, I don't want to harm you around our enemies." Yoho chuckled as he prepared to steal the ring from his partner.

If Hotaru were able to reach him then she would deactivate the magnetic aura and grab the ring, she would then prepare to dash away and attempt her great escape, and her cloak would be activated to make it harder for Takeshi to track her, if not then she would have the aura still active and prepare to engage with Takeshi in combat.

Charge Fuuinjutsu • The Untouchable

Once the fuuinjutsu is activated the user is surrounded by an invisible magnetic field. Metallic and magnetized objects that are not held by the caster and whomever the seal is placed upon will be pushed away from the user with 40 strength, should they come within 2 inches of the user's body. This technique is extremely useful for unarmed shinobi to fight those with weapons.

Prerequisite: Location of the item.
This is one of the most basic techniques the spy has in her archive, first it requires that the user knows where the item (1 post) is located on the person, then bumps into them and attempt to pick the targets pocket, if the target has lower Speed than Hotaru then they won't notice. If the target has a Speed equal to or greater than Hotaru's Speed, this technique is ineffective. This only works on object smaller than a kunai and she can't plant items on the target at this level.

As Tengu finished his handseals and leaped off the ledge of the building, an assailant revealed themselves and launched a series of projectiles at him. Each senbon would be harmlessly deflected by the shards of anger swirling around him. The man scowled as he recognized the figure, an acquaintance from the Iron Banner festival. An allied operative who hailed from the lightning empire. “You’ve made a mistake coming after me. This prize is mine to claim” he said as he began to fly away, attempting to gain distance and elevation. He would attempt to get at least 60 meters above his new opponent and at least as far away from the building itself.

All the while the anger swarm would circle around him, though it would keep to only about 15 Speed and Strength and would only increase in speed and power when needed to deflect attacks. He would have to fight smart and conserve his chakra. He wasn’t sure what his opponent's capabilities were but it was clear their stealth abilities were exceptional, enough to even fool his byakugan. But the fact that they had remained hidden until the last moment indicated they were weak in a direct fight. The advantage, especially in the air should be clearly in Tengu’s favor. He had fought a Kumo shinobi as well as a Kiri nin when he had claimed Anger and it seemed history would repeat itself again.

After, deflecting the senbon barrages with anger, the ring would surge with power, halting the momentum of the chain weapon with 25 Strength as Yoho attempted to ensnare the flying, invisible man as he moved away. It seemed his invisibility was ineffective against his opponent, but the method of their enhanced senses was unclear and thus difficult to exploit.

Commanding Anger forward he would attempt to put Yoho on the defensive, the swarm splitting and flanking the opponent from either side. Tengu’s hand dipped into his pouch, withdrawing a kunai and intercepting the tagged senbon, sending it back toward Yoho as it detonated. He would deactivate his byakugan, allowing it to rest as he shielded his eyes for a moment while still flying backward and away from his opponent. The Anger swarm would be repelled from his opponent, but it would keep up the pressure regardless, continuing to follow Yoho as the two battled it out to see whose chakra reserves would last longer. Regardless, Yoho would not be able to close the distance or deactivate their magnetic aura without being ripped to shreds by the relentless anger swarm that would batter at their defenses and pursue them with 45 Strength and Speed while Takeshi kept a safe distance of 60 meters from his opponent.
