Hisato would move quickly onto the building, but his silent assault would be interrupted by the shout of the man Asuna had attacked, everyone in the room he climbed into turning to look at the wall he'd just entered from. Once in the room, Hisato would find it was filled with a total of 8 people, the entire building consisting of one large room and a small break away that one could only assume was a bathroom. Four of the individuals were on the ground, bound and gagged in a circle sitting with their backs to each other. Those that could see Hisato had wide eyes as the mist spread through the room, obscuring not only their view of him, but his view of them.

Two more of the people in the room stood on each side of the clear hostages. Both equip with swords, one would take several steps placing himself directly between the hostages and Hisato while the other pulled out a sword, clearly show-casing a willingness to kill one of the hostages, "Stand back!", he would shout out angrily.

On the far opposite side of the room, almost directly from where Hisato had entered, a single individual stood at the door. His face covered by a cloth mask showing only his eyes, he would push against the door and bolt out of it, leaving nothing to be said as he darted from the building directly towards where Renji and Kozan would be circling in from. A shout would come after him from someone on the far right of the room, "Fucking coward!", he would shout as his hands wove into hand seals. "Handle these losers!", he commanded at the last man in the room, who had stood mere feet from where Hisato had entered. When Hisato's blade swung out at him, it would be met with...nothing. The blade passing through his body harmlessly as the mist enveloped them both. Hisato would notice dark, red eyes that seemed to have light behind them as they penetrated through the mist, and then quickly...they would vanish into the mist. Where was he?

The task they had before them was simple, yet had suddenly become quite complicated. Three opponents in the room, one fleeing, and four hostages. The numbers didn't add up.

But now was no time for counting heads, Yuuto would need to get across the room to protect the hostages if they were to ensure everyone survived. And that meant Mondai and Hisato would be fighting against a numbers disadvantage. The game was on.

Entering through the window, the mist slowly crept in with him as he prepared his assault, all his senses active as his dull grey eyes swept the room as his feet touched down without a sound, at least until a scream eminated from outside the now open window. This of course drew the full attention to the open wind and the crouched fox-kid with his three tails curled tightly behind him. "That son of a bitch..." Normally these types of words would have been kept in silent thought but whomever it was outside that allowed for their target to scream was truly a buddy fucker. 'Well, fuck.' His stealty attempt at an entrance to be able to deliver the first strike without warning was completely ruined as the swordsman took note of the four bound targets in the center, barely catching a blurred glimpse of the one that immediately fleed. He hadn't expected the inside of the building to be one wide open room here on the second floor, which was something he would just have to adapt to as he immediately targeted the nearest foe. A nigh invisible slash came from the crystalline blade, only having the one blade drawn and in his left hand, the sweeping strike from right to left seemed to cleave the man directly in two halves, but as a semi experienced swordsman it felt wrong.

The attack felt like he'd hit nothing but the mist that crept across the room concealing both his spot and the spot the man had been in, only leaving the Tsukino with a view of the dark red hue eyes that faded away with his body and the mist both did their job. 'This one is trouble.' He didn't place to much worth in the others but judging from how the 'leader' of the group yelled at the man Hisato had attacked first to 'take care of them' it meant he was probably the stronger one in their own group. Hisato believed that if the room hadn't been alerted from the yell outside that he might have been able to quickly dispatch the man with surprise and violence of action in that moment but being alerted allowed him to prepare and act accordingly. 'A missed opportunity...'

Soon his other two would be in the room, but Hisato didn't make his own move towards the hostages just yet, no he was worried about the one he failed to kill, better yet the one he wasn't even able to hit at almost arms reach. Both eyes closed as his mist naturally expanded while his body put its focus on the special hairs found within his black fox-like ears. Thus, allowing him to 'see' everything within his own personal mist, he silently walked forward as the right arm drew out the matte black blade from its sheath over the right shoulder, leaving it up two his comrades to push the other side of the room and its occupants as his mist slowly spread towards the hostages concealing him from normal sight. It was hunting time...

*Hidden Mist Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Kiri-nin
Kirigakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Hidden Mist Ninja. After forming the required hand seals, the ninja creates a blanket of mist which covers the area around them. The mist covers 10x10x10m area. The mist limits the visibility of those inside to 4 meters in any direction. This technique lasts a number of posts equal to 1/2 the user's Chakra Pool.

Mist Anchoring
D-ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals, a mist technique of the user will become centralized upon the user, moving at [Control] speed in an attempt to remain anchored to them. A Fuuton ninjutsu of higher [Strength] is needed to displace it, allowing the mist jutsu to be maintained easier. Additionally, the duration of the mist will be extended by 3 posts.

Having mastered control over his body, the fox-like shinobi has developed the ability to naturally move about without making excess noise or sound. Requiring his opponent to have an equal ranked Hearing Perception technique to detect the user's movements through sound alone.

Prereq: Perception Conc
Concentrating upon the special furs that reside inside the ears of the Tsukino, the user will stimulate them allowing for their natural ability to become amplified. His powerful enhanced echolocation-style hearing, in point. These enhanced furs allow for the fox shinobi to extend their senses: Without adequate water a Tsukino’s sense extends around them for (Stat Total/6) meters and can form rudimentary shapes and images in that radius but no further. Vibrations caused by water being interacted with, or vibrations traveling through water, can project much further and are much more clearly defined, up to (Stat total/3) meters out.

Yuuto landed on the windowsill that Hisato broke through, he crouched down and inspected the field as the mist slowly encroached. I at least know where the hostages are. Yuuto looked over at Mondai as he switched over from Liberation to his Mirror shield then leaped to the hostage's side. He had already sized up the distance and knew that he could clear the landscape, especially if Hisato moved the mist, that would leave Yuuto and Mondai to deal with the soldiers who stood by the clearing, they would take down one each and hopefully cover each side, unless Mondai had other plans. "Left."

Yuuto would slide on his knees to ride low then plant his left leg and push the left-side soldier upwards with his shield, a wind gust would accompany the shield strike, followed by Liberation swiping at his legs mid-air section, regardless if the first one hit or not, Yuuto would finish the combo with a flip strike, hoping to bounce him at least to get rid of his foe for now, as he wasn't expecting the first wave to be the problem. The Genin couldn't have been defeated by these chumps? Don't get cocky, try to focus on defeating your foe first. That was true, Yuuto needed to keep his head in the game.

His shield was ready to defend him at any moment, he had tried to master his combo strikes to flow as smoothly as possible, as the game plan was to move around and aim to debilitate as quickly as possible. With Liberation and Mirror at hand, he could almost take down anyone, or at least that was how it felt. The mist on the other hand was slowly starting to bother him, as it reminded him of Kozan and the fear he cast whenever it rolled by. Focus Yuuto. His pauldron was feeding him information his other senses couldn't tell, which helped give him some advantage in the mist.

Yuuto focuses on one target and begins to almost tunnel vision, dead set on keeping track of whatever the target attempts to do, by focusing on specific body joints and connections via jutsu, but it comes at the cost that he loses his visual awareness of other enemies, with this jutsu they can spot even foot tracks and make out a makeshift size on those using [Stealth] at this level and lower.

Heroic Bash
D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The user takes a step forwards and pushes their shield to bash their enemies, causing them to either take a step back or open them up for a following attack.

Knee Crack
B-Rank Maneuver Taijutsu
This is an upgraded version of Knee Smack, where the user utilizes more power in the strike hoping to crack the knee bone in order to fracture the targets knee. If the users Strength is higher than the targets Endurance then their knee will fracture and cause severe pain (-3 Endurance, -3 Speed) until they have healed their knee.


Bounce
A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Yuuto performs a front flip and uses the sword to slam the sheath on top of the targets head with enough force to bounce them off the ground, if the target has equal or lower endurance than the user's strength then they are rendered unconscious, if their stats are higher than they suffer (-3 Endurance, -3 Strength and -3 Will) for the next 7 posts, this technique is also rather deadly if used without the sheath but it then forgoes the bounce and debuff.

Hisato’s intended approach had ben ruined. The man he had killed managed to alert the rest with his scream. But in truth it didn’t matter how the approach went all that matter was that every enemy was out of commition dead or alive.

It was a perfect distribution of three versus one but something was incredibly off. The one Hisato was battling with had turned into an intangible creature of mist which filled the entire room. Whatever was wrong here would be revealed after they were complete with their mission. Now was not the time to hesitate. Yuuto had picked his target and even if Mondai was angry at Yuuto, their syncronization in their teamwork were among the best in the seven swordsmen because of the years of experience of fighting both with and against eachother.

A small ‘tsk’ would be uttered before rushing the one on the right. Leaving Hisato to deal with the misty appirition but Hisato’s power far exceeded his own rank. While Yuuto displayed incredible mobility and deceptive attacks worthy of the assasination style of the Karagata contrasting with Mondai’s had a more simple yet effective style. Drawing his harpoon and chucking it at his advisery thorugh the mist being bale to make out his target even through the thick mist. Displaying incredible perception.

The goal wasn’t to kill him immedietely but to preventing him from attacking the hostages but if he did get hit by it then Mondai wasn’t one to complain. As soon as Mondai was in range he would get into wall guard before feintng a cut to draw out a reaction so he could then respond with a devestating counter. Hopefully ending the fight with in a few exchanges. But things were rarely that simple even for the elite of kirigakure.

An ancient technique that was passed down through the family a technique which requires immense precision and training in order to achieve. Those who learn this technique have learned how to track singular or even multiple immensely fast objects that would normally appear blurry or intangible within their speed range. Hidden objects can not only be tracked if covered in some way these objects can also be targeted by practitioners with immense precision meaning if a fighter were to show an opening when performing a normally blistering and unseeable attack with a near impossible opening, Mondai can then target that opening allowing him to exploit it properly and potentially turn the tide of battle in his favor.

Very quickly, the room exploded into chaos. Three separate battles had quickly unwound, and with the mist being produces by both Hisato and his opponent, the sound of fighting reverberated through the room but most everyone would be left virtually blind. Hisato, despite being the lowest ranking, was almost certainly the strongest, and of course his opponent seemed attuned to countering him, unphased by a strike that would kill most. As Hisato crept through the mist attempting to locate his target, he would sense movement about 10m in front of him, coming from the eastern wall. But before Hisato would be able to move on it, he would feel the mist around him suddenly becoming firm and coalescing around his body to hold him in place with [45 Strength]. He would then hear a sudden whispering in his ears, ”You’ll be popular on the market…”

After performing the correct handseals, the user will focus on a 3x3x3m area of mist. This mist will then become extremely dense, weighing down with [Control] strength. Anyone caught within this area with less than jutsu’s strength will be unable to move

Mist Whispering
C-rank Illusion Genjutsu
The user does a series of hand seals and then targets anyone currently touching their mist. The user can then speak out loud, ensuring anyone captured in the genjutsu hears their voice as if it’s being whispered to them by the mist. This allows both for mind games and covert communication.

Yuuto and Mondai would not have an easier time, as the mist spread through the room and obscured their ability to see, they would lose sight of the hostages, even if they were nearly right in front of them. Consumed by their attacks, both the chuunin would find themselves falling for the same trap. First, Yuuto would strike at the man, but he would put up no defense, allowing themself to be swept up by the shield and thrust into the air. Perhaps this would be a warning to Yuuto, who would continue his assault. However, when he struck at the man’s legs with liberation he would strike, then feel a slight give before poof, the man vanishing and…a hostage replacing him! Yuuto’s strike would land true on the hostage would give a muffled cry from the impact of the attack. Yuuto’s back now to where the hostages were was totally exposed as the man he’d just attempt to attack barreled through the mist, lunging at Yuuto’s exposed back in an attempt to tackle him to the ground.

It seemed birds of a feather flocked together, and these men were unconcerned about the value of the hostages, because Mondai’s opponent would rely on the same tactic. The spear would fly through the air and penetrate the man’s shoulder pinning him to the wall. Or at least, it would have if he hadn’t vanished into a poof of smoke as well. Leaving in his wake another one of the young genin hostages who would wail in pain from Mondai’s assault. The man would leap into the air, his sword over head and swinging it down like a cleaver at Mondai’s head.

"Hmp!" A light grunt was heard come from the thin lips of the black eared man, this technique, he knew it as a Kiri-nin technique from the Mist ninjutsu style. It only took a moment to confirm his previous ideals that this man was most likely some sort of missing-nin from his home village. But for the moment he'd not let his true strength be known as he felt the mist around him condense, constricting his movements at a strength equal his own as the noise bouncing around in the mist was working to disrupt his vision of the entire room. This forced the swordsman to dial back his focus and activate his swordsman's pauldron to enhance his perception of the space around him, only focusing on an area within ten meters of himself while the others went about their own fights.

Appearing to struggle to fully move against the mist, he activated his stance, though nothing appeared any different from the outside as his tails seemed to slowly push against the mist spreading out from one another. The voice in his ear caused him to narrow his eyes, having just picked up movement along the wall about ten meters from himself, the voice didn't line up with the presence he sensed directly out in front of him along what should have been the eastern wall. Some sort of voice projection technique? With the pauldron active he didn't sense anyone within three meters of him, so he refrained from making a knee jerk attack behind him.

Though he didn't attack but instead continued to struggle as he spoke out himself now, letting his voice extend through the mist in the direction of the movement he detected. "I wonder how much the bounty house will give me for you." Hisato jabbed back verbally instead of physically with his words, though there was a foundation of truth behind them as the swordsman could always use some extra capital to continue his work on his new weapon. Any shinobi was valuable as a bounty, but the Kiri house paid especially well for those who betrayed the village...

The shield connected with the foe but there was a severe lack of resistance, which Tokato found odd, why wouldn't the enemy in question push back against Yuuto? No, something had to be up as this had never happened during all the fights he had been forced to endure over the years. What's going on!? Once Liberation struck the enemy midair he felt that something was truly off and stopped his combo, choosing to stop himself from performing the flip, he activated his pauldron to get a sense of what was going on.

Right when his senses picked up that someone was behind him he felt his body get tackled, luckily for Yuuto, the pauldron had managed to warn him of the impending strike, allowing the kid to spin right before their bodies connected. The Karagata would only be able to spin 1/3rd of the way before he felt his body being tackled, his right elbow would attempt to connect with the assailant as they flew down towards the ground, it was the same arm he held the shield in. He would then try to kick the enemy away from him and attempt to roll back onto his feet.

"Guys they are using the hostages as bait." Yuuto wasn't sure if they would be able to pick up the noise but he knew better than to question if he should continue to find the hostages or deal with the enemy. Yuuto, if possible would smash Liberation onto the soldier that tackled him, had it not been for the mist then at least Yuuto wouldn't have felt as stressed as he was feeling currently. Hopefully, Mondai didn't kill the hostage, for Yuuto wasn't sure if they would fail their mission if that happened.
