[Mission] Let's get this thing

"So. Here we are out in the desert and...whoa. What was that? Did you hear that? There's some...sound. It's coming from. What the hell it's coming from the ground. I don't know about you man, but I'm getting out of here. See you later."

When the scared man returned to the village, he complained about the noises enough that someone hired a Shinobi to go find out what was making the noise. They didn't honestly care what he did with it, just so long as he found it and got it to stop what it was doing.

Hito sighed as he made his way to the mission destination. People these days were rather wimpy about everything, The noises could be a threat to suna, however, so he went willingly. He took care of every threat, no matter how minor it was. Nothing made him happier than protecting his village.

When the Shinobi reached the right area, he would be surrounded by large boulders, and a lotttt of dry, dry sand. At first, he would most likely hear nothing except the wind flowing over the dunes. But, if he took the time to listen, he would eventually hear a very soft sound, emitting from somewhere in the immediate area.

The sound was quite, it was almost a mechanical humming sound, such as the humming of a light bulb. Every once in a while, the sound would grow louder and the ground would shake almost an undetectable amount. This was really quite the phenomenon, and if the Shinobi figured it out, he just may be rewarded.

Hito listened carefully to the sound, while also taking out his kunai and preparing for an attack. He could see nobody or nothing that could be the source of the noise, so it could be that somebody was hiding. To be sure, he broke out suddenly into a sprint, running around the boulders and looking at each side, hoping to find something. If he didn’t, he would assume they were disguised AS boulders and he would pull out all of his kunai and senbon, throwing one at each of the boulders and large rocks.

When the rocks and boulders were destroyed, not much would be revealed to an untrained eye. But, to a trained shinobi who was looking carefully, he might be able to see the ground vibrating slightly and also seeming to be shifting around. If he so chooses to dig in this spot, he would only get to about three feet down before hitting an incredibly large boulder.

The closer he got to this boulder though, the louder the buzzing would grown and the harder the ground would shake.

Hito saw the ground shaking and still heard the buzzing, indicating that the spot probably had something to do with the source and his mission. Performing some hand seals, Hito dug his now sharp hands into the ground and started shoveling the dirt out from underneath, digging quickly and carefully once he arrived at the boulder. Now it was obvious this was directly related to his mission, considering how the buzzing grew louder as he approached the boulder. Not one for wasting time, Hito went right ahead and attempted to penetrate the boulder, thrusting his sharpened hand forward.

By performing a few hand seals, Hito can basically coat his body in fuuton chakra. The fuuton chakra is extremely sharp all throughout. Allthough it doesn’t take the shape of a blade, every part of the fuuton chakra is sharp and can cut like a metal blade. This coating does not have any special barrier protection, only it protects like a regular metal blade would, only throughout the entire body.

As soon as Hito cracked the rock that held the vibrating creature, that very same creature came flying out of the rock. It wasn't much, it looked mostly like a ball of glowing matter. It swooped back and forth several times before spinning to face west. He then sped off at a speed of three, away from Hito and the rock where he had been held.

Seeing the gas rise up and spring away suddenly, Hito immediately performed some hand seals. He didn’t know if it was a jutsu or a creature, but he was hoping it was a jutsu as he performed a jutsu of his own. He stared intently at the collection of gas, attempting to time stop it when it was about 5 feet away from him. Once he finished with that, if it was successful, Hito leapt back from the large boulder and stared down at it, wondering what had just created that jutsu or whatever it Is the gas was.

“Who’s there?”

The ball of energy lay vibrating in the rock, unmoving for the most part. If Hito looked down on it in fact, nothing would happen, though if he tried to pick it up something might happen.
