[Training] Shock Fist and Chakra Control

Post by Kinkotsu » Wed Apr 06, 2011 6:38 am

Kinkotsu woke up early on a very beautiful day. His morning jog went well and he even had a decent meal to eat to fuel himself for the intense day of training he had in mind. His goal for the day way to work on perfecting a new style he was trying to learn to control. It was known as the Shock Fist. Finally learning of his ability to manipulate lightning with his chakra affinity, he knew his arsenal needed to be worked on. This would be a very difficult task since he would remember learning from the jounin of Suna that to control this style one must focus on their control and manipulation of chakra.

He finally reached a secluded area surrounded by desert and rock formations. To begin he of course continued his warm up doing some cardio drills. This ranged from jumping jacks, squats, push ups, and eight count body builders. After this he would then cool his mind with about one minute of meditation to begin controlling his breathing. Doing so will be only the first way he would start focusing on his chakra control.

After feeling the relazation in his chest and muscles he would begin to stand and start practicing his strikes on a near by dummy he dragged out to the area before hand. This was in fact a normal training area around Suna for Kinkotsu. The vast desert created the many training grounds accessible to him. He would become frustrated that through multiple hours he could not seem to pulse the chakra and manipulate it the way it should be to prove the technique to be a success.

Taking another break to begin meditating for another straight minute would breath in deep hold it and breath out a small stream of air. In his mind he visualized the air he was breathing out to be negative energy in his body. The mind was his most powerful weapon and he knew this to be true. Realizing that he was back to his calm state of mind he would continue working on the technique.

Kinkotsu started focusing chakra to pulse through his body. He then would begin to imagine the image of lighting and extreme power surging throughout his body. He then began to strike the dummy he had hit before but it seemed that only natural strength would be behind his strikes instead of the elemental effects. Unsure of the reason for his failure to comprehend what he was doing wrong, he continued through the entire day to perfect this style.

His determination was undeniable as he worked himself to the point where he could barely feel his body anymore. The constant use of chakra also took a toll on him so he would have to call it a day and relax for an entire day now to make sure he fully heals properly. He was always smart about healing his wounds. Sometimes his ego does get the better of him, but that's a typical for most shinobi his age.

After he is fully rested he goes straight to the training ground he started at. He would see nothing had been moved except a sand storm that must have brewed, because the dummy had specs that would glisten with the shining sun. Kin would begin focusing his chakra to pulse through his body yet again.

He felt that it was now his duty to perfect this skill with a passion for the martial style using his favorite style of fighting with his chakra affinity. Knowing these very details of this and the possible results of this training only drove him to push himself to his limits. This was rare because Kinkotsu had been already pushing himself and this would be his relaxing workout day. Growing up he was raised to stick to a strict way of living such as eating at certain times. Making sure the portions of food are not too much and not too little. These are just some of the standards of living within his family.

Making his intervals of exercise longer and almost no rest is what he felt was necessary to push the bodies limits. A shinobi must be well prepared for many situations in battle. Knowing this, the body should be kept to its highest standards. This is what Kinkotsu lived by. He would begin to feel the strain in his muscles as he pushed harder and harder. His face would cringe as only motivation would be what seemed to be keeping him going.

After allowing a longer rest period he knew it was now time to focus on the technique itself rather then be conditioned to use it. This was the way of the knowledgeable fighter, which Kinkotsu hopes to understand in his lifetime. Slowly going over how he positioned his body for his strikes and realizing his sense of range was his intention. He allowed what was left of the dummy, which was basically just a plank in the sand, to be his target.

He would control his breathing making sure to exhale when he made contact. After doing it a few times he would then begin to focus chakra into his strikes. Combining the technique of his strikes and the controlled breathing allowed him maximum efficiency in his training. Taking his time, Kinkotsu would begin to close his eyes and begin to feel his surrounding target making contact with his chakra still flowing.

The day would finally cease, as a gust of wind would signal Kin that it had already been a little past sunset. With the time passing by Kinkotsu would not allow it to disappoint him. He knew that facing this challenge would not be an easy one. He was prepared to do all it would have to take to perfect this skill he admires so much. Finally deciding to take a break he would find himself eating a huge dinner to try to get some energy flowing in his body after all the hard work.

Kinkotsu walking to the front desk would pay his bill and take off feeling great. He knew he would have to wait a bit to start training so he wouldn’t feel uncomfortable so he decided to meditate. Doing so allowed him to think of many possible ways to try and perfect this new style. His passion for this jutsu would now prove to be a significant part to him and his life. He loved having something to strive for and knew that his hard work was soon to pay off.

He imagined himself succeeding at perfecting this style knowing this was the best way to achieve your goals, through visualization. He would now begin to imagine electricity instead of the chakra flowing through him. Typically Kinkotsu was able to loosely use his lighting affinity, but could not seem to control it. With this training he finally has found that he can now fufill his goal.
Kinkotsu would finally be ready to continue on with his training. The night would grow even darker as Kinkotsu now trained by an open fire. He was not afraid of anyone from his village stumbling upon him because he was pretty far by the gate to the village. Kinkotsu takes his right hand and begins to chamber it for a serious punch. On impact Kinkotsu would release what is know as the Shock Fist style. After studying the style and some of its users Kinkotsu knew he was ready to master this technique.

After finally succeeding he would practice a bit more and eventually allow his mind to rest. All the aggravating motivational training he finally achieved his goal, proving his dedication to his craft. He would snack on a bowl of rice and fall asleep with a smirk on his face. This was proof that he was proud of his hard work and could not wait until he could see his true potential. Realizing the many jutsu and possible combinations, Kinkotsu knew he had a lot of work to do.

The best thing for his body was rest. As he relaxed and watched the sun rise, he could not stop thinking about the many different ways he could benefit off of finallying knowing this style. Being absolutely proud of his achievements, Kinkotsu would begin to study ways Taijutsu fighters plan to strike. Combining some of his own knowledge of the martial arts he would begin to basically formulate combinations in his mind. This would be for future reference of course. He would make sure he returned to his proper dieting and lifestyle. His achievements were no excuse to start slacking off. This would show Kinkotsu’s dire passion as a shinobi.

There was no time to take off any day, for everyday was a training day. Kinkotsu knew that because of his strict regimen, he succeeded. This would be absolute proof Kinkotsu was ready to put himself to the test, and only time would tell what was in store for Kinkotsu.

Continuing on with his intense routines, yet another week of training would go by. This jutsu was not an easy one to master. He wanted his technique to be flawless and refused anything less. This would show how Kinkotsu truly believes in perfection. This was his lifestyle and he would use his meditation routine again and begin focusing his chakra control.

Control was the main reason he was failing in the beginning. Now that he truly has found the answers to his problems, Kinkotsu would find himself very happy with the progress he was making. Now able to work on it alone from gathering all the basic moves he was happy to take his time and do it in solitude.

The chakra would surge through Kinkotsu like receptors receiving electrical currents. He knew to focus and control the chakra in to his fists. He refused to give up until his meditation allowed him to maintain a balance of chakra and strength of his powerful fist. Taijutsu was his passion and learning the styles and the life of a martial artist is what Kin lives his life by.

The control training would almost be complete as he found himself getting tired. Kinotsu felt he still needed to continue so he decided to just take a short break and take a nice relaxing shower. Washing the sand from his body he would begin to imagine himself using the power of the shock fist.

Quickly rushing back to his control training he would focus his breathing patterns yet again, because repetition was key for perfection. Many Think doing the same thing over can be boring but Kin refuses to learn something new until he masters his original goal. Finally achieving his goal of focusing his chakra into his hands he would stand with a smirk of achievement. No words could describe the joy he felt for finally succeeding. Now he would only imagine the combinations he could create with such deadly force.
