"Oh dear, oh dear oh dear oh dear! This is bad!" The storeowner was a rather short man, nearly rotund, as was running in circles. Several mice were under his feet, and he was circling about desperately, trying to snatch them up; the beasts continually spurted through his pudgy fingers, narrowly avoiding capture. "Oh, I hope that shinobi gets here soon, before these things get lost; or sneak into someone's house! Oh, that would be bad for business..." One of the mice, finally captured, gave his finger a harsh bite. The shopkeeper swallowed a scream, eyes watering, and plucked it from his finger, gripping it by the tail.

"Oh, I guess I'll have to disinfect this...and he's STILL not here."

Tain ran to the pet store as fast as he could, yet it wouldn't change the fact that he was indeed ten minutes late to the pet store were he was suppose to be capturing animals that happened to escape. After five minutes, he would finally arrive at the store, only to see a short pudgy man with what looks like a mouse in his finger tips. "My name is Tain, and I apologize for being late."

"Oh..." The man looked over to see that the shinobi had finally arrived, "About time," He uttered as he dropped the rodent down into a small box. He closed the cage-like top, the mouse finally captured.

"Yes, yes, apology accepted," The man was in a hurry, or rather, desperate. "I need for these animals to be brought back as soon as possible. I hope you can do that... Oh! Please be careful with them. I did a head count and I am missing three mice and two foxes. If you have any other questions, do let me know now before I head back in."

"Actually I have several questions that I would like to ask if you don't mind?" "First off, do you where the foxes might have ran off to?" "Is there a field nearby, or an abandon house of some sort that would allow them to create a home?" "What do you think I could do to lure the animals out into the open?"

The man stared blankly in disbelief for a moment. He hah hoped that the ninja wouldn't ask anything and would run off. It seemed like his nap would have to wait.

"Seriously... There's an old shack a little further down from here, to the east. They may have gone there. They're mice, use some cheese," The man said with a shrug, "Just don't use the mice as bait for the foxes... Goodness! I hope those foxes haven't eaten them! Use some other type of small creature to lure the foxes out." The man didn't say anything else, hoping there were no more questions.

Tain would use the information that was given to him by looking for a small animal that could be used as bait for the foxes. First he would start off towards the old shack in hopes of seeing something that looked like something the foxes would eat. If he saw nothing of value, then he would head north to continue his search there.

The shack appeared to not have seen any activity in a long time, at least not any human activity. It had two floors, but it was simple and easy to navigate. The problem was the hay that was everywhere, meaning that the rodents would be hard to find. However, amongst the hay, if Tain noticed, there was a small gerbil scurring about. It was making it's way to a piece of bread, sniffing it out. It would make a good bait.

It took him awhile before he would finally notice movement amongst all the hay. Tain would attempt to grab it with both hands, while hoping that it was some sort of small animal that would help him lure the foxes out of there hiding place, and into his arms.

Tain was rather lucky. He managed to grab a hold of the small gerbil on his first reach. Actually, it appeared to be a bit weak. Perhaps feeding it to the foxes would put it out of it's misery. Regardless, he now had his bait. If he could set something up, a trap, anything, he could lure the foxes out. Of course, that was just the first part. He then had to catch them. Given only one gerbil, at least at the moment, he would need to plan to take advantage and attempt to catch them both.

Tain took several pieces of straw, and tied them around the gerbil. He would then take out a kunai from his pouch, and then tie the other end of the straw onto the circle part of the kunai. He would then look for a good place to set his trap, before placing the kunai directly where the gerbil would hang in the air. After taking care of that, he would then begin to set up a trap, that would allow him to capture both foxes, so that he wouldn't have to wrestle with them.

With the lure and trap set up, the foxes only needed to show themselves. Sure enough, they did. They circle the gerbil from a distance, wary of it. As smart as they seemed, it appeared that they were hungry and both went in for the treat. As such, both of them were caught. Now all that remained were the mice. Given their size, it would be a bit harder to find them. He could always lure them out somehow like with the fox.

Tain looked around the room for something that would attract the mice. He had hoped to find some kind of food, only to remember that the gerbil was doing the same. He would then go back to the area that he caught the gerbil, only to start digging through the hay in hopes of finding a piece of food that would allow him to lure out the mice.

Tain's hunch was right. The spot the gerbil had been snooping around in was littered with seeds and nuts. It was just right to lure out the mice. He simply needed to set the trap up now and wait to see if they would fall for it like the foxes had.

Tain would pick up a good number of seeds and nuts, before setting up a trap that would drop down upon them the moment that they touched the items. If this worked out as he had planned, then he would take the trapped animals, and hurry as fast as he could back to the pet store, in hopes of delivering them without anything bad happening.

With the lure set and the trap in place, it was now time to wait. The three mice soon emerged as they sniffed out the seeds with their noses. They approached unaware of what was abou to happen to them. When they got within range, the device fell down on them, capturing them... at least two of them. One of the mice was quick to react as it attempted to escape. The trap had caught it by it's tail, so it was still kind of trapped. However, Tain would need to make certain it was properly caught as the mouse struggled to free itself.

Tain placed one hand over the mouse, while making sure that he had a tight grip upon it. He would then lift the cage slightly enough, so that the tail could get free, while keeping the other mouse inside. In a few seconds he would place the mouse that was currently in his hand, in the pouch that was attached to his belt, before carefully making sure that every trap was secure. He would then carefully lift up the traps, before walking towards the pet store in order to finish the mission.

With the mice and foxes caught, it was a done deal. The trip was a cake walk and the owner was one happy customer, giving him the thumbs up that his mission was over.
