It was midnight in the Wind Country, and one word that would never seem to describe anything related to a desert encompassed the totality of the darkness around the shinobi:

Cold.

It was absolutely frigid. The air was still and the fires from the caravan's camping grounds were starting to burn out, as the majority of them had gone to sleep, putting their trust in the shinobi that was protecting them. The ground beneath his feet was especially soft sand, and were it not for his shinobi training, Jaburo would have found even walking short stretches rather difficult. Heck, even the moon was refusing to show its face this evening, shrouding everything in even more darkness.

The raiders would be coming shortly, according to the spy that had come back from the camp.

Good Luck.

The nights air was cold and crisp- it almost stung Jaburo's skin. To keep himself from getting cold he had begun to jog around the caravan as it moved on. This attack is imminent. I better stop here and get planning. Vaulting with his spear, he leaped to the front of the group. Yelling "Awaken!" to everyone, he stood still. "We need to move carts and tents, for your safety."

As the men, women, and children filed outside, he began to command them into a strategy that just might work. He was already fearful and nervous. One man- a tai user- against 35 riders- some even ranged. He'd have to find a way to use their own power against them to succeed. He couldn't know how until they met in battle. His first priority however was to plan for the peoples safety.

He slowly helped move all the members of the caravan and their personal belongings into a few of the carts and tents. He had them packed all together, huddling inside their spots. He created five shadow clones and left them with the people, just in case. Around them, he placed a few carts with goods. Better the goods then the people than began to tip over the remaining carts around the caravan. It was pretty much a well armored protection scheme. He finished it off by filling the encampment he had just created with basic clones. Not much, but they can take a hit and provide some sort of block. He created roughly twenty-five of them. Not to much strain for silly e-rank techniques that even academy students could use. The goal was to distract, and slow. They could do that.

He decided to liter explosive tags around the encampment. As he began to dig into his pockets, his face turned blank. How could I forget explosive tags. I'm fucked, if the Kazekage knew of this ineptitude he'd surerly destroy me. Almost panicking for a short moment, he put his hands back out.

He'd have to adjust. He attempted to spin his spear and kick up dust onto the caravans and everything. It somewhat worked, helping camoflauge it against the sand. It was still visible if close enough, but it was the best he could do. After having all the lits put out, he collected tents and lanterns and ran up ahead. He could here off in the distance the yells of the raiding party- they'd be here soon. Placing his tents in a pattern meant to obscure vision, he began to put lanterns up and fill them with some more basic clones. It seemed like a lively camp. He left goods in the cart he used to transport everything. It was only a few clones, but it should buy time once more.

Shit, they were said to be coming shortly- his speeded preperation with the help of some of the males had taken almost ten minutes. There was no time to relax or do anything else than. It was then, that Hayate heard screams off in the distance- battle screams. Switching to his Arms stance, he readied himself. He needed to significantly lower their numbers before going into a defensive form- and the speed he'd gain would significantly help him move between them and split their formations. He would lose strength and tai percision, but it was worth it. From what he heard this speed could be a great asset from dodging to outflanking the riders.

With that, he lowered his spear and charged out into battle.
JutsuShow
*[Clone Technique]
E-Ranked Bushinjutsu
After completing a set of three handseals, the user forms a slight chakra 'body', thus creating a single, massless clone. The clone created from this technique is very basic and will dissipate when hit with anything. These clones do not possess vital signs or a chakra signature, meaning they don't disrupt the environment, and anything on their person is superficial. The clone has 1 in each stat. They are limited to basic movements.

*Shadow Clone Technique
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the needed handseals, the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to the user's stamina). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for stamina, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect.

Arms Stance
A-Ranked Nin-Taijutsu
After the nescessary handseals, Jaburo switches to his Arms Stance. This stance is used to "chase prey" and is very offensive. It allows maximum speed allowing Jaburo to catch up to running opponents then release a finishing blow. While using this stance Jaburo is more hunched allowing less wind resistance and more speed, he also forces more chakra into his legs rather than dispersing it through his body for defensive purposes. In doing so, he loses strength that the chakra would provide in his arms. He is able to thrust his spear at a faster speed, which means he could potentially do devastating damage. This also release chakras into Jaburo's legs and feet increasing the size of his tendons allowing higher jumps. (Not as high as Tobu, but a "spring" to his step.) This stance lowers Jaburo's Strength (-3) and his Taijutsu (-1). In turn gains 3 Speed and 1 Ninjutsu. Only one stance may be activated at a time. This lasts 5 posts.

For some time, Jaburo's soft footsteps on the sand and the breath that left his chest would be the only sounds that graced his ears in the horridly chilly desert night. The sky was an eerie black, the normal light of the moon absent on this night, and even the stars seemed to only dimly shine down upon the shifting dunes. Even near the border of the wind country, this dry and arid land seemed to stretch on for as far as the eye could see... which for Jaburo, wasn't much, considering the lack of light.

Then, it started. At first it was just a very soft vibration, almost unnoticeable. Then, it began to gain in strength. Eventually, the sounds of hooves pounding onto the mass of miniscule stone reached Jaburo's ears. The earth began to shake; they were just over the hill, Jaburo could be sure of that. Finally, the sounds turned into a monstrous thunder, and...

Nothing. Whatever had been storming towards him just moments ago might as well have vanished. Where could they have possibly gone?

A series of light flitting sounds quietly danced across the air. And was it just the shinobi's imagination, or could he hear a quick whistling?

Jaburo waited less than a minute. He thought he had heard the enemy but they weren't anywhere on the horizon. something was wrong, very wrong. He shifted his weight laughing to himself "couldn't they have put a sensor with me." It was than he heard a whistling. Is it my imag- no it's defintely there.

Jaburo gasped- his breath coming to life in the cold air. They weren't there. He started trembling. Shit. Shit. and then it hit him. Perhaps they doubled back past him towards the camp of tents. He took off at full speed, leaping to augment his distance till he hit the camp. Swinging his spear round he ran in posed to attack.

Chances were his plan to intercept had just failed. But he wouldn't let harm happen to anyone or anything.

Jaburo's sudden turnaround would not save him from his rather saddening failure in the use of observational skills. Those flitting sounds? Those had been the sound of the riders' bowstrings snapping. And that quiet whistling in the night sky?

Those had been painted arrows, arrows that were now about to sink into Jaburo.

Granted, his movement offered him some defense against the arrows. Having been a bit of a blind shot on the riders' parts, the cloud of arrows wasn't very focused. Despite this, Jaburo simply would not escape this blunder unharmed; the sting of metal piercing his flesh would shoot through his body, an arrow burrowing itself deep into his right shoulder and left calf muscle.

Not a moment after the last arrow had hit the ground, the riders came storming over the hill where the sound had disappeared. It seemed that they weren't ones to separate their numbers; instead, they had stopped behind the large dune and shot off a volley of arrows over its top, most likely to prevent themselves from being ambushed at the hill's peak. Now storming down the sandy mountain, the riders caught sight of Jaburo and his ostentatious garments and began readying another volley of arrows. Now on flatter terrain, they allowed themselves to spread out a bit more, giving each other room to fire over each other's heads.

Fuck. I was to inept to figure out what was going on. Right as he had charged forward guessing they were hiding, or he was taking a risk and they attacked the camp, he ran into a volley of arrows. He dodge around until one struck him in the calf- instantly howling with pain a second one lodged itself in his shoulder. Spinning his spear over the ends he sliced them clean but left the heads in. Taking them out now wouldn't be good.

He put his hands together and quickly added to his armor before readying himself for the next wave of arrows. He waited till they fired. At the very last second he launched himself upwards by releasing chakra through his body. He instantly began spinning his spear, the crescent moon defense. Those bastards would pay for the earlier hits.

He was waiting to get near and pop his payload on them. It would destroy them.

*Basic Bodily Reinforcement
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: User's averaged taijutsu and strength stats must be at least 5
A technique typically used by those with disciplined bodies and fair strength, Basic Bodily Reinforcement further extends the use of the user's muscles using chakra. After channeling chakra throughout the musculature, the user is able to resist taijutsu at up to 5 strength and blunt attacks from weaponry for three (3) posts.

*Tobu [Jump]
D-Ranked Nintaijutsu
The rudimentary technique of the High Style, Jump requires the user to first perform a single handseal, followed by focusing chakra into the feet. When the user jumps, be it at a standstill or with momentum, the chakra will release in a burst, sending him/her a distance that depends on the amount of chakra placed into the technique. This boost is purely in vertical distance; horizontal distance depends on the user's momentum when this technique is performed, meaning it causes higher jumps, not longer ones. The maximum height that can be gained using this technique, no matter that amount of chakra placed into it, is 30 feet, while the minimum is 5 feet. Each jump with this burst counts as a new use of this technique, and thus requires handseals to be reactivated.

*Crescent Moon Defense
C-ranked Taijutsu
Prerequisite: Taijutsu stat of 4 or higher and Chakra Infusion. Straight swords, staffs, fans and chain weapons
By whirling his/her weapon in concentrated, circular patterns around their self, the user of this jutsu is able to deflect a wide range of attacks, covering anything from projectiles to medium strengthed elemental jutsu.

The horsemen were far from stupid. Seeing their second volley being so easily deflected, they decided to change tactics. The unit splitting into two groups of fifteen as they charged, the archers formed a counter-flowing perimeter around the jounin. The fifteen men who were riding on the inside of the perimeter were circling Jaburo in a clockwise manner, riding about fifteen feet away from the man with the spear. The remaining fifteen horseman circled the first group of horsemen, riding counter clockwise. This would make it particularly difficult for Jaburo to defend... which tipped him off to exactly how much experience these horsemen had with fighting.

Such a tactic insinuated that they had fought shinobi... and considering they weren't all dead, they had probably prevailed.

The fifteen archers on the inside, which rode about fifteen feet away from the shinobi, quickly nocked their arrows and fired into the sky at the seemingly prone Jaburo. The archers in the back had their bows already nocked. They'd be able to quickly draw and fire should the first volley fail in its goal.

All thirty of these bastards here to fight just one me. Jaburo let out a gut wrenching howl- a bestial howl deep from his stomach. "I'M GUNNA KILL YOU ALL!" As he defelected the first wave of shots from the men to his front. Just then he noticed the group had split. He had deflected the ones he was facing.

The soft whizzing noise of arrows went off as more men who had moved to surround him fired. "Fuck. They knew what was happening. They're experienced in fighting Ninja, definetly the nintai variety too." He didn't have much choice or time. He was already airbourne.

He kept his spin up with his hand trying to deflect what he could as he rained his own lightning fast projectiles down among the men. He didn't know if any had hit. A few arrows grazed him as he felt the sting of the cuts left.

After his volley of hits, and put his hands together, narrowly dodging a shot. He formed some basic clones and sent them all hurling downward for cover. With them, he launched his spear off at one of the horses in hopes it would cause more ruckus. At the final opprutunity, he grinned and performed his final handseals. "Tenrai Shuuren" Within moments he was a spinning whirlwind of strength, down at a small group of the men.

He might not be able to take much of anyone or anything out, but he'd have a great chance of surviving just enough to hit the ground- and maybe injure a few others with his projectiles and attempt to send a horse crazily running.

Tenrai Shuuren - Divine Drill
S-Ranked Nin-Taijutsu
Pre-requisites: 8 Wit, 8 Control, 8 Taijutsu, 10 Speed, *Demon Windmill, Requires Arms Stance to be Active.
Jaburo requires adequate space to preform this. While running at a high speed, he stabs his spear into the ground in an effort to pole-vault himself up. The "jolt" and momentum of stopping sends him flying down towards the enemy at an even higher speed. First, Jaburo attempts to launch all his Senbon at critical points, enhancing them with chakra to pack more of a punch. This is in hopes of damaging muscles or perhaps a joint causing the opponent to slow. (-2 Speed on hit/does not stack) Then as he hurls towards the enemy he launches small projectiles all around them. (Not at them, around them.) As he nears the opponent at the very last second, Jaburo takes out his Tanto and creates a "T" formation with them. He then uses a technique drawing from Demon Windmill, allowing him to spin his blades and body increasing his Piercing power, while using his Defending Blade (His tanto's) to create a small shield before the tip of his body. Both weapons are infused with chakra strengthening them, and the piercing blade has chakra in the tip causing the power of 1/2th an explosive tag on impact. This is why it is called the "Divine Drill Technique".

(OOC: Wit is a mistake. It should be 7 wit. Wit isn't even too integral to the skill. But the other stats I do have. Due to arms stance the speed buff, and I have 8 (9-1) tai and 8 control. Also I mentioned 3 chakra types. I planned to make a mod to fix this when I buy my D-Ranks. If you need be this can go on hold till than. Should be Fuuton/Raiton but I think I said Doton on accident cause I copied an old app and re-edited it for jaburo.)

The horses were moving at a fair speed, but they weren't quite fast enough to outrun the senbon. The needles sunk into the limbs of both the riders and the horses, taking about five of the total thirty riders out of commission along with their horses. As the equines ran off into the night, the other twenty five men quickly broke rank, seeing Jaburo begin to rotate both his body and his weapons. Because of their quick thinking, they managed to avoid the rest of his attack, even the second volley of projectiles. These raiders were patient; they waited for Jaburo to hit the sand with the explosive tip of his spear before shooting another full volley of twenty five arrows into the sand cloud that no doubt had sprouted from his technique.

Jabuo smirked. took out five and broke the rank. Not bad, but not too great. With the split second he had he replaced his destroyed clones with one more, and sent it out head on towards the men. Right as the volley of arrows went through the dust, he began to speed his momentum up to launch him self out and at the opponent. Jaburo leaped into the air. He was quite high and the unsettling dust along with his clone as a diversion gave him the right chances he needed.

As he neared the ground he setup a few boomerang kunai. Coming to a running stop on the ground he sped out from the side, a few of the riders directly ahead of him. He threw a few kunai at the bow of the one furthest in his range. Hopefully it would snag his bow and do some damage to the others on the way back. Jaburo didn't have many options. He was ill-prepared, he left some weapons behind, and worst of all, he had to get his spear which was stuck some ways away. Too much abuse of his strongest jutsus would leave him exhausted, so he'd have to use his raw speed and skills now to take the opponents out.

After completing a short set of handseals, the user will imbue their weapon with chakra before throwing it. The weapon will move at a speed dependent on the user's strength, and once it reaches its peak distance, the chakra will slowly disperse, bringing it back around toward the user at two less speed than it was thrown. The horseman, noticing the distinct difference in speed between the two copies of Jaburo, quickly put an end to his bunshin. Still, his antics paid off, somewhat; three of the riders suddenly found themselves without functioning bows, as the kunai severed the draw strings. Throwing their bows to the ground, the drew what appeared to be basic katanas and charged towards him on their horses. He would luckily have enough time to get to his spear, though they'd certainly be hot on his tail.

Also, unlike before, the archers, while standing with their bows drawn, didn't fire off a volley like Jaburo might have been expecting them to. Perhaps it was because of the three riders that now sought to cut him down with their blades? Regardless of the reasons, his opponents came from his front-left, front-right, and from dead ahead. They planned to pass right by him and slash him whilst hanging precariously from their saddles.

No sooner than he chucked the kunai at the riders did they return to Jaburo's hand. Dashing off, he made it to his spear in time. He quickly slung it over his back. Reactivating his Arms stance, he ran off to the side. The few riders that he was currently battling with split from the group had begun to ride at him from three directions. He sped off to his best. He was still injured, and now slightly tired. He probably wouldn't be able to pull of his S-Rank more than once if lucky. He'd have to rely on his stances and his lower skilled moves now if he was to conserve his energy.

As they began to catch up Jaburo halted. Shit. He didn't know what to due, he decided maybe he would give up and just die. They grew nearer, flinging his arms up, Jaburo waited. "Damn." Hopefully I'll time this right. And when they got up to him at last possible moment he leaped high into the air, throwing boomerang Kunai's down at the riders, should they somehow avoid the near collision.

*Boomerang Projectile
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Typically used on projectile weapons with a less than stellar range of use, the user of this technique is able to have his/her weapons act like a boomerang through use of chakra. After completing a short set of handseals, the user will imbue their weapon with chakra before throwing it. The weapon will move at a speed dependent on the user's strength, and once it reaches its peak distance, the chakra will slowly disperse, bringing it back around toward the user at two less speed than it was thrown. If the user does not catch the weapon, it will travel for 15 yards past its starting point before stopping. Weapons included in this technique can be no larger than kunai.

The riders, for all of their skill, were sitting ducks when their backs were facing their target. The kunai struck truly, sinking their points into the backs of their necks and the riders falling to the sand without a sound. The horses, now free of riders, fled for self-preservation.

The remaining twenty-two horsemen, having drawn back their bows, released while Jaburo was in the air. It seemed that his High Style seemed to have it's own vulnerabilities. How would Jaburo react to this assault?

Jaburo laughed as the riders stood no chance against his attack. His triumph was cut short- as the kunai came whirling back... followed by about twenty two arrows. As the sky infront of him turned black. Grand. Dropping as he formed handsigns, he tried to move his body. He was able to throw up a quick reinforcment, providing at least some protection.

He instantly dropped himself in altitude more. Hopefully he would fall enough to lose a few arrows. Forcing himself to spin downward with great speed- a product of his own doing and gravity, he began to fiercely spin his spear in circles all around his body, creating a protection. Sure, it wouldn't be the best, but it would keep him safe enough to keep on fighting. If anything richochet'ed off his defense, hopefully his ninjutsu would help lessen the hit. As the arrows followed him towards the ground, he prepared for landing. I hope this all works. I just need to hit the ground and once I can get running I won't be so open.

*Chakurikú Surú [Land]
D-Ranked Nintaijutsu
Another of the cornerstone techniques of this style, the Land technique requires the user to perform a single handseal and then focus chakra into their feet. As the user lands, this chakra will disperse, balancing his/her weight in the process, and creating a landing with a greatly softened impact. Users with less than 5 control will be provided with a safe landing from a maximum of a 60 foot drop. Users with more than 5 control will be able to drop from heights of 100 feet in addition to gaining the option of seamlessly transitioning into a sprint upon landing. This technique can be held dormant for a maximum of three (3) posts before it will dispel on its own.

*Intermediate Bodily Reinforcement
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: User's averaged taijutsu and strength stats must be at least 7; Basic Bodily Reinforcement
A technique typically used by those with disciplined bodies and fair strength, Intermediate Bodily Reinforcement further extends the use of the user's muscles using chakra. After channeling chakra throughout the musculature, the user is able to resist taijutsu at up to 7 strength and blunt attacks from weaponry for three (3) posts.

The spinning spear would be enough to protect him from the flitting black arrows. He would land on the ground without any problem. The archers wouldn't quit, though; they were fast with their fingers, and it wasn't long before several of them were already nocking their arrows on their bowstrings.

Three more horseman decided to forgo the use of their bows to buy time with their blades. They galloped forward at a decent speed, quickly closing the gap between the pack and Jaburo. Their thin curved swords were held high, ready to swing down and cut into the jounin.

The remaining horsemen still circled awaiting the results of this new forward assault. Their bows now stood poised, their arrows primed to fire.

With a few curses Jaburo had landed fine. But it wasn't long before arrows came flying at him again. Spinning his spear now, Jaburo took off at a rapid place. The Plan? Kick up dust onto everyone, create some temporary cover along his path. As he drew nearer, and the riders near to him, a flurry of arrows shot by him. Nothing his armor wouldn't help take care of or his spin hopefully. At the final moment, with such speed and force, he quickly launched himself up. Flipped straight over one of the riders, grabbing him by his shirt. He was performing his drag technique.

He could be a human shield, or a projectile, either way he'd be useful. As Jaburo dragged him, he used all his strength to launch and slam his captive toward the riders now behind him. Maybe perhaps the body would even block some projectiles. Immediately after flinging him, he didn't look back. Firing his hand signs off, he released two of his shadow clones. With a few handsigns in rapid motion he summoned three next two him in the dust. He continued his spin once more, heading straight towards the main group and kicking up a massive amount of dust in the process. Each clone splitting off towards a different direction of the riders. At this point, hell, even one was worth killing.

SpoilerShow
*Demon Windmill
B-ranked Taijutsu
Prerequisite: Crescent Moon Defense and Chakra Infusion. Staff weapons
The user of this jutsu moves toward their opponent, whirling their weapon in ridiculously fast circles, deflecting most ninjutsu or projectiles. This is a defensive offense, which meaning that it’s used to get into close on an opponent with a longer reach or range.

*Hiku [Drag]
C-Ranked Taijutsu
To perform this technique, the user will begin to sprint toward the opponent and then purposely jump past his/her position. As the user passes the target in the air, s/he will grab part of the opponent's attire (usually the shirt). The user will drag foes along the ground before heaving their body over his/her shoulder and slamming it into the ground as he/she comes down from the jump. Users with less than 5 strength will be able to drag opponents, but not slam them; users with greater than five strength will be able to do both. This technique can be used from any angle of approach, but is best used when coming at the opponent from the front at a diagonal.

The archer that Jaburo had grabbed by his collar didn't stand a chance at close range combat. With a muffled "oomph," the raider was silenced, knocked out cold.

The archers weren't surprised by the clones, oddly enough. What did catch them off-guard, however, were the clones kicking up as much sand as they were. A few of the archers made some snap shots, but none of them hit their targets. Instead, the shroud of sand obscured their view. This threw some of the horses into a panic and gave the clones an opening. Jaburo would need to capitalize on that opening. Otherwise, he'd find himself in a bit of a pickle.

The openings and sand created the perfect oppurtunity for Jaburo. His now far weakened opponents left wide open, he smiled. Each shadow clone copied what he did, lunging forward from the dust and grabbing onto riders, cept this time, they swung the riders would collide with other riders. Brilliant. While his clones did that, he readied himself.

Performing the same, he gabbed onto a riders garments, and with all his might attempted to send him flying into a couple of riders. This would be painful, and hopefully seperate some of the men from their horses. Which was all he needed.

Jaburo's gambit payed off. With his clones joining into the fray, several of the riders were caught off guard. After all was said and done, four of the riders were knocked out and another three had been removed from their horses, who ran off panicked into the desert night. This left only ten riders who were on horseback.

The men who were knocked down from their horses and hadn't already been bludgeoned into submission, three in all, stood back up and drew their thin curved swords, waiting for the man to come to them. Obviously, they weren't experienced fighting off of horseback.

His clones still in the dust cover now, Jaburo creeped forward with a sick smile on his face. His job was nearly done. Using the three of the few projectiles he had left, he whipped them with a ferocity at the three of the riders, spread so that he would hit horses surrounded by the others. This would hopefully knock a few men from their horses as the horses became scared, hell, even knock or kill a few during the fall. If that wasn't enough, his clones leaped high into the air. He didn't know whether his targets would spot it, but it was worth it. When they landed, they would come crashing down onto the riders, and do that final move before most likely being destroyed.

He could feel himself nearing the end. He was tired but able to go on. And he could also feel that he would make it. The gentle sound of titles rolled off in his head. Heh, if he did succeed he outed thirty or so fearsome riders. With that, he launched the last of his two projectiles at the three men. There goes projectiles. He was prepared to take the rest out himself.

C-Ranked Taijutsu
This technique requires the user to be in a position that is significantly higher than the opponent. Once in this position, be it atop a building or from a tree, the user will leap down onto the target, leg extended, using gravity to intensify the force of the kick. This technique works best in ambush scenarios, as the opponent can easily move in the time it takes the user to reach the ground. If the kick were to miss, the user runs the risk of causing serious damage to his/her leg unless s/he is able to utilize the Roll or Land technique before making contact with the ground.

Before, Jaburo was sorely outnumbered, and the riders had fully used that to their advantage, trying to wear him down. Now that Jaburo had his clones and was making full use of them, the raiders were quickly seeing their advantage disappear. With the dust cloud and the general confusion, each of the projectiles hit their targets. Three more of the horsemen were thrown from their horses and trampled, either being killed or bludgeoned into unconciousness. Sadly, however, only one of the clones made it to their destination, knocking out the third man off of horseback; the rest were hit by a desperately fired barrage of arrow. The one clone was safe for the time being, but considering he was in the middle of the chaos, there was no guarantee that it would remain that way for long.

Seven riders remained. Jaburo and his clone were what was left of his allied forces.

Jaburo was feeling the wear and tear. He was certinaly tired, but he had the remaing to go on. Without a chance or halt in the chaos, he lunged foward. His clone followed, wipping it's might at a rider in the middle of three. Jaburo on the other hand had gotten close to a few riders, and with both tantos, chucked each at them. Not waiting to retrieved them knowing they'd drift back towards him, he unleashed his kunai and launched it at another rider. He waisted chakra on the boomerangs but with little weapons to throw left- and in hopes they'd snag men on the way back, he chanced it.

Tired but still soldiering on he thrusted his spear towards the rider closest to him. Each and everyone would die at some point- there'd be no survivors.

The riders managed to avoid the tantos during their initial trajectory, but dodging the flying weapons left one of the riders open to be impaled on the end of his clones spear. This was the last kill the clone would get, as the rider right next to him would trample it with his horse. The tantos now returned, striking another enemy on the back of the skull with the blunt end, knocking them from the horse and rendering them unconcious.

Thinking quickly, the rider Jaburo stabbed at reared his horse, making the beast take the hit for him. Jumping from the horse, the rider came down on Jaburo, his wide curved blade swinging down towards his skull.

His tanto's abruptly came back, as he caught both with his other hand. Jaburo moved his spear further foward, the rider letting his spear hit the horse. Fuck. With no time to grab his spear back out he dsitributed the tanto's between both hands then swung his non-dominate hand foward with the tanto to parry the attack at his skull. He swung his other arm into the stomach of the rider who had just leaped at him.

The blade clashed hard down onto Jaburo's tanto. The man had thrown everything into that last attack; the fact that Jaburo had parried it sealed his fate as the second tanto sliced him cleanly along his midsection, silencing him forever.

The raiders, though few, were not ones to simply let an opportunity pass by. Using the raider's falling body as a blind spot, the enemies loosed a volley of six arrows at Jaburo, and they'd already be part way there by the time the ninja would see them.

Jaburo was in horror as the arrows flew straight for him. With no other choice he leaped high grabbing his spear and slinging it onto his back. There were so little left he could finish it now. He had too. Quickly he swung his threw his tanto at the remaining riders. He was hoping he was dead on as he aimed for their necks. If he missed he hopped he ruined the bows or took them out on the way back. This had gone on long enough and he was going to finish things now.

As he fell he flung the remaining four or so of each projectile at the riders before hitting the sand with a soft thud, kicking up a slight amount of dust. He then took off foward, spear at the ready. Any who he remained would die now.

With a single swift motion, it was done. The two tanto lodged themselves into the flanking riders' throats, and the projectiles sunk into the rest of the bowmen, knocking them out cold. They would soon bleed out from the weapons.

It took some time, but the dust settled on the battlefield. An exhausted and slightly bloodied Jaburo was all that remained of the battle with the roving raider horde.
