The sun beat heavy on the desert, you could see the waves of heat moving up and down as you slowly traversed the sand dunes. Looking behind you, you could see all the foot steps from your travels. No wind, nothing in sight. WHERE were you even going? It seemed like a hell. Your goal had to be close, right?

[Niro]

Hopefully the goal was close. Takeo had been wandering towards the coordinates the village had given him for a while now. He knew he wasn't the smartest of people but he knew how to read a map and memorize the location the disturbance had been located on. Takeo would soon come near the location he had been ordered to investigate and looked around, checking the area for problems.

[Ace Trainer]

It seemed to be on cue, that your unfathomable confusion would be met with clarity for your solution. It was mid-step that the sand you were standing on suddenly seemed to glow as a fuuinjutsu became apparent from under the sand. Suddenly, sand walls rocketed into the sky. It seemed like they were at least 50 feet in height. You were now in a hallway running from the left to the right what seemed to be a labyrinth. Before you even had time to respond, words began to etch themselves in the wall you were facing.

"You will be presented with foes, and allies. Kill your allies, and fighting foes become harder. Leave your foes alive, and they will betray you. When approaching an opponent, you can ask them to join you. Or you can ask them to battle. Be aware, anyone could be friend, and anyone can be foe. Here is a hint, however.

Flowers and people, one in the same.
Colours, Confusion, Stupidities to blame.
There is a flower, that’s a flower, if it goes by any name.

It seemed the option of returning for back up was now gone.

[Niro]

Takeo immediately shifted into a fighting stance as the fuuinjutsu started to glow and the sand walls came into existence. Walls sprang up all around him rapidly, forcing him to look around to make sure nothing was going to cave in until finally the labyrinth or whatever it was was complete. When the jounin stopped looking around, the wall infront of him.

'Alright, so I can gain allies and I have to fight enemies. Seems the poem is based on the older poem roses are red, violets are blue so I can somewhat assume for now red and blue clothed people are potential allies. Alright, time to go.'

Takeo started to follow the maze, seeing if he would get into an encounter with someone or thing.

It seemed to be less of a maze an more of an elaborate hallway. You weren't faced with any options, simply left turns, then right turns, then another right, then a left. It certainly made someone claustrophobic. Suddenly, the sound of rocks rubbing against rocks filled your ears. Ahead, you could see a shadow stretching across the corner taking a left, it seemed someone was around the corner. You could always kill everyone you met, couldn't you?

Alternatively, it seemed the path also went right, just before the left, allowing you to evade the potential threat. What would you do?

Takeo followed the paths, thinking if he really needed to he could light the entire place up with his white fire and probably break through the walls. Eventually, something moved through the hallway in front of him. Deciding that even if he took the pathway that seemed to lead away it could potentially lead to a trap or even more opponents and continued on forward.

"Hello? Are you friend? Or Foe?" Takeo called out as he brought his hands together, not yet forming seals but getting ready to.

The person, if they were people, he was calling out to came 'round the corner, presenting themself. They were people...sort of. This specific one wore all white, but, his face lacked any features, and the shirt and pants he(?) wore seemed to be part of his body. A blue stripe was visible around the dome of his skull, however.

He stood forward staring, if an eye-less being could stare, at Takeo. It seemed they were capable of speech, and if they were, they weren't going to answer any questions.

[Niro]

Takeo continued to sit there with his hands at the ready as he repeated his question once again.

"Are you friend? Or foe?" His hands started to move into the beginning seals for one of his lower ranked attacks. "I really don't wish to harm you and I'd like to find out what's going on too."

[Ace Trainer]

It was becoming rapidly apparent that this person, being, whatever, was part of the trap you were now in. It wasn't going to respond, or help you out. You got to decide whether or not you'd accept it's camaraderie. It seemed that you were going to have to make a decision, otherwise, you'd just end up going through this entire trial fighting.
