The day was a hot one. What else is new? There was a hot wind blowing over the hot sand, blowing it into a small but hot sandstorm. Although the defenses of Suna were great, they would take no chances. Even in this weather they had patrols, and on this unfortunately hot and windy day the three ninja had been selected to brave the elements. Who knows? Today might be the day that someone tries to get into Suna.

As it was a normal day, Unten and Oben were inside of Kushina's body, making use of her ability to host both of them inside of her. 'As normal, we'll watch your sides and back, you watch out in the best you can.'

The twins were prepared for almost anything, as normal, as Unten had just woken up from his own nap, giving the twins full concentration towards whatever would happen.

Kushina was making her way across the sands, her mask protecting her face and eyes from the sand that blew around her and the twins within. She kept her head on a swivel as she scanned for anything that might stick out at all, such as something that wasn't sand. "I honestly think this is the first time I had both of you inside me, how the hell do you two even fit?"

The blonde woman had to chuckle at the implications of that statement but kept her attention focused on the job as she moved.

The lone figure would be able to walk into the landscape without seeing anything. Their mission was to patrol around the entire village, and they would also have to check the walls. They needed to make sure noone was lurking there. They could really go anywhere, but would they find anything?

"Well, we are pretty small compared to you. Though, if you were bigger, we could probably fit more."

While the implications could go anywhere, Oben left it at that. With their patrol route on its normal path, they continued onwards, riding inside of Kushina. It was an easy way to be at full stamina once sommething did happen.

"I hope that's not a recommendation to get fat, otherwise I'd have to strangle both of you." Kushina threatened mockingly as she continued her scan of the desert. Keeping an eye out for anything and everything as she moved across the sand.

As the three moved they would find nothing but sand. At one point the shape of a caravan could be seen, but it was not immediately threatening. Nothing seemed out of place. At least. Not where they were.

As she moved Kushina spotted the caravan and did one last spot check off the wall before turning to head toward the caravan for a closer inspection. She mentally relayed her intent to take a closer look, having to always be on guard lest a enemy gets in the gate.

Unten and Oben both followed Kushina's lead. There wasn't much, but it was pretty standard.

It was a save, but then again, so were most innuendos.

As the two approached the caravan it stopped, and two men broke off to greet them. "Hello, ma'am, how can we help you?"

"Where are you headed?" The Eidolon asked, as the first question of the few that would follow. Her eyes scanned over the Caravan behind her mask as she looked for anything suspicious without making it obvious.

The two men glanced at each other briefly before speaking again. They seemed hesitant, but not at all uneasy.

"We are merely traders, come to sell our goods in the market of the nearby ninja village. In fact, if you wouldn't mind, you could take us to it? We are rather new to this place, you see." As the man spoke the rest of the caravan moved closer to them as if to catch up in anticipation that the woman would lead them to the village. None of the men seemed overly menacing, but one could never be too careful.

Kushina pondered whether or not to lead them, let them pass on their own, or perform an inspection. She decided to keep it brief for now as she motioned to the caravan. "What kind of goods? From where?" the Eidolon asked as she wondered if any of the figments had inspected this group yet.

If every thing seemed okay, she was tempted to let them pass but she couldn't be too careful. Her thoughts drifted out to the twins hiding inside her, 'What do you two think? Anything seem off or any questions you want me to ask?'

While it was a simple thought, there was a lot behind it. The Eidolons and Figments were known to do searches, just in case something went up. Unten and Oben prepared themselves, though, appearing from behind the girl, throwing caltrops deep into the sand, all with puppet strings attached.

The man smiled uneasily, clearly intimidated by the woman and her questions. To a suspicious person it might seem as if he was buying time, or maybe he was just nervous. Maybe, though. . . Maybe this was a diversion. Maybe he was working with someone else. Maybe they were already attacking Suna! It was unlikely, though. The man thought for a moment before answering the questions.

"Well, we are from all over. We merely come together for safety in numbers. I, myself, am a tapestry merchant. My colleague here sells literature ad school supplies. Uh, there are lots of things that we sell. I would show everything to you, and will be happy to do so once we're within the village, but, you see, I have had many unfortunate happenings where my wares are ruined before they get to market. I'm sure you can understand my position?"
