Dr.Jico stood patiently at the front counter of the hosptial, a small tear in his brown eyes as he looked at a picture in his hands once more. His beloved pet Archie had gotten out because he had so carelessly left the window open, and now he was sure his beloved Hawk was in distress in the desert surrounding Suna. The Doctor was an easy person to miss, his brown hair was almost a standard and his measly height of 5’8” was the usual average. The only thing setting him apart at all was the white coat he had on, more fitting for a scientist that an doctor, but no one ever really commented on it. The double doors opened and with them his hopes of seeing the ninja that was so gracious enough to take this desperate mission, but alas it was only a man who suffered what appeared to be a kunai through the hand. Once more he went back to staring at the picture of his beloved, misty eyed as he did.

Miyuki headed to the hospital as if she was heading to work. Unfortunately, she was called to work because there was a specific mission for her to do there. Her client would be at the front desk, awaiting her arrival. This was my day off from the hospital, Miyuki thought as she entered the hospital. She got out a piece of paper and waved it around.

"Who's Dr. Jico?" Miyuki called out, holding the man's mission request in her hand.

Hearing his name called, the Dr. looked over to find at last a ninja standing near the door way. He raised his hand in response to the chuunin, “I am Dr. Rin Jico. Your hear to find my beloved Archie right? I’ve got surgery in 30 and it would be much relief to know that a capable ninja is on the job.” Walking over to the dark haired young lady, he grabbed one of her hands into his own, a pleading look in his eyes. “You’ll find him won’t you? You won’t let anything happen to my companion, right? Here this is him. I took that picture two weeks ago, he was such a happy hawk…OH WHY DID I LEAVE THE WINDOW OPEN?!?!”

As he spoke he started to break down crying, drawing looks from most of the people in the lobby. It wasn’t until the nurse came walking over did the Dr. release his hold on Miyuki’s hand, instead he latched onto the nurse who looked to have experience consoling the hysteric Dr. “I’m sorry about that, he gets a little dramatic at times. He was going on about how Archie might at the oasis outside the walls going west. He lives on the west side of town, and I would guess that since they make frequent trips there that his bird would go there.”

With that they turned and left.

Miyuki stayed pretty much quiet through the exchange. She was going to say something about working with him before, but the Rin part threw her off. That must have been his twin brother or something, Miyuki thought. I wonder why wasn't both of the brothers there worrying about their father? Oh well. At least one of them was there. Miyuki was somewhat relieved that the nurse came over and took Dr. Jico. Any more crying and she would have slapped the man senseless. Miyuki just smiled and waved to the doctor and nurse as they walked away. She exited out of the hospital before starting to think. I know the hawk is important, but geez. The man could have at least showed at least some decorum. She just shook her head and started to head to the west side of the village.

Miyuki would wander down the streets, passing many citizens and pets, nothing really interesting going on. Not until she was at the west gate that is. Standing at the gate was a crowd of people, all clamoring around something, but Miyuki couldn't see anything. She would have to investigate if she wanted to know what was happening.

Miyuki was still mumbling about going to work today as she walked through the village to the west side. I bet there isn't anything to see here, Miyuki thought as she walked. It wasn't until she actually got to the west side of the village did she see a commotion with a crowd of people, covering something. What do we have here? Miyuki went to the crowd and pushed through it, trying to see what is going on.

"Excuse me, pardon me," Miyuki said while going through the crowd.

OOC: Sorry i'm late

IC: Miyuki would have to push past some people to see a bloody and beaten man laying on the gronud, various people trying to lift him up. There was alot of people yelling, most of them wondering how long he'd been there and who did such a thing to what appeared to be a merchant. One thing was for certain though, the man looked to be in danger of losing his life if no one stepped in to do something.

Miyuki wasn't surprised that no one really acted. They always expected some Medic to come rushing out of the shadows and help out whenever and whatever. They better be lucky I'm around, Miyuki thought as she walked over to the man and bent down near him. Then, she did a few hand seals, making chakra focused in her hands. After awhile, Miyuki put her hands over the man where he was bleeding and started to channel chakra to the wounds. With a little time and concentration, the man would live under Miyuki's care.

*Blood Clot Technique
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

One of the men holding the injured civilian up looked at Miyuki with gratitude before hoisting him upwards and guiding him off towards the hospital. The people around murmured as they dispersed, but one woman stayed, a green haired woman who looked to be in her late twentys. "Thats the third time this month that someone has come through this gate in such a state. It has to be the joker gang doing this. Normally i'd advise you to stay here until the kage can sned a ninja to deal with those trouble makers, but seeing as you seem to be one i guess i'll hold my tounge."

With that the woman turns and walks away, leaving Miyuki seemingly alone at the exit.

Miyuki wasn't surprised at the outcome. Why would anyone want to stay at the site of the crime? That was just asking for trouble. Yet, Miyuki thought. That woman that talked to me seems to know more about the situation. I guess I should follow her, maybe get some more information about the events might help me with this mission. Miyuki ran up to catch up to woman that talked to her.

"Please, don't hold your tongue," Miyuki replied when she got up to her. "Mind telling me more information about these events, like who might be behind this?"

The woman was mildy suprised at the young woman's presistance, but quickly hid it away as she turned back to her. "Well i honestly don't know too much more. The Joker gang are just a bunch of moraless thugs who have taken up residence at one of the oasis around suna. You know their part of the gang with that horrible orange that they wear, usually some sort of jacket or something. I hope thats enough for you, because thats all i know."

Miyuki just listened to the woman and nodded. I maybe going off course here with the mission here, Miyuki thought. But I need to figure out more about this dumb gang. Miyuki scratched her head.

"Can you at least lead me the way to the oasis that they hang out with?" Miyuki asked the woman.

This gang might have the bird that I'm looking for.

If the woman hadn’t been expecting the younger girl to question her the thought of asking her, a civilian who preferred not to get involved in anything too dangerous, never even crossed her mind. Stammering a bit at he mere thought of going out there into dangerous territory she replied, “I-I’m no so sure that’s a good idea. Yo-uh you don’t think you can f-find it yourself? I me-me-mean umm well I-if you’ll pr-pro-protect me I guess I could at least ta-take you, but I won’t go anywhere close to their camp…ok?”

She took a deep breath, audibly showing her fear and hesitance, before she started walking, passing right though the gate as her eyes lingered on some of the blood from the injured man earlier.

“My names Kura, nice to meet you…although I will say I wish we could have been shopping rather than marching towards danger.”

Miyuki just scratched her head. All she asked for was directions. What was this gang really that scary? Miyuki thought. Why haven't the Kazekage taken care of it? Miyuki did a quick rub of her face before speaking to Kura.

"Name's Hanabusa Miyuki," Miyuki replied. "I'll protect you if you go, but I was just asking for directions to the place really."

Miyuki waited for Kura's response.

A look of relief passed over Kura’s face as she halted her advance. They had already passed the village gates, noting that for some strange reason it seemed to get hotter outside the village. “Oh, eheheh, well I suppose that makes more sense. Well all you have to do is continue south until you come across a worn sign, from there go west and you’ll see it in the distance.”

As she finished she turned and began to head back to the safety of her village before she stopped and turned back, “Hey, be careful not to let the heat get to you. I know that sounds like something you already should know, being a resident of Suna, but mirages can fool even the most alert of travelers.” Finished with her warning she continued onward towards the village.

Miyuki thanked the woman for her info and saw her leave. She just shook her head when the woman was out of eye sight. That was annoying, Miyuki thought. Geez, is almost all the women in this village weaklings? This needs to stop. Miyuki then headed the way the woman told her to go to the gang's hide out. I really hope I find this bird soon.

Following the woman's direction, the chuunin would soon find the sign and from there the oasis. There was three figures all hunched in the shade of a very big rock, backs turned to Miyuki. Two of the men wore orange bandanna on their heads, the other had a orange jacket laying next to him.

They all looked pretty relaxed, probably cooled by the small spring, but what stood out was the shrill of a bird. A huge bird stood tethered to the rock, obviously displeased with the arrangement. Could it be the bird called Archie that she was seeking?

It didn't take long for Miyuki to get to the oasis. When she got there, there was three guys in front of her. Neither of them was looking at her, so it would be easy for an attack. When she looked around, she saw a bird tethered to a rock. Ok, Miyuki thought. This probably was a good idea to follow that lead. Miyuki got out three Shuriken and threw them at the men. While the weapons where in flight, she did a few hand seals. Then, she launched some Fuuton chakra out her hands, in the direction the men.

Miyuki was right on the money with her attack, killing the men before they even knew what hit them. As she approached it was clear that these men were indeed up to no good, having weapons on their now still forms. Just as the chuunin was about to untie the bird a load cry emmited from behind her.

"ARCHIE!!!"

It was Dr.Jico, covered in blood and tears as he ran towards the equally excited hawk.
Freeing the bird from its leash it perched on the good doctors arm, rubbing it's head against his.
Turning towards the Miyuki with a grin on his face, he thanked the girl repeatedly for all her service. In his haste he explained that the surgery was a success and he rushed here to look for his pet. Little did he know that if he had beat Miyuki here he could have been killed by the gang.
Considering the mission done, the ninja escorted the Dr. back to Suna
