[Mission] Ride 'em Cowboy?

Post by Satorose » Tue Nov 20, 2012 3:51 pm

"Here you go," said the man behind the desk.

Lee had just been handed the details of his newest mission. A B-Ranked Mission that took part in a small abandoned town known as Naeru-Machi. At this town there was a gang of Lizard Riders who had been causing problems for nearby towns. And so the Village of Sunagakure decided it was time to send someone out there to handle them. The job before Lee was a simple one, eliminate all the gang members, but the leader. If Lee could handle the leader as well then he would only receive a bonus; however, it was not required of him.

Little was known about these "cowboys," other than that they road on lizards and used Jutsu. Hence why this mission was B-Ranked; however, only the leader was a truly strong target. Nonetheless, Lee had to be prepared to fight more than one opponent at a time if this mission was going to be successful.

And with that information Lee would be on his way.

The mission papers has been handed to him and Lee looked through them intently. These raiders looked to be little more than thugs, easily taken care of. If Lee was lucky all he had to do was capture one and the rest would surrender or leave. Simple, easy, clean. Lee would be back in time to make supper and tea.

With that he set off with his notes in mind. The village wouldn't be too far off and it wouldn't take much to get things taken care of. T'would be best to get information before walking in there like a dope though. And with that in mind, Lee would release a fair amount of sand, nearly all of it actually, from his left sleeve scroll. He performed the seals and created a basic clone of himself, sending it into town in his stead as he watched for several (100 minimum) yards away.

After the proper seals, Lee is able to cause the crystalline sand around him to form into the shape of a human. It is then refined into the likeness of Lee. This clone is unable to do any jutsu but can move around and talk as a normal person does.

As the clone wondered into the town he would quickly find out that the town was in-fact deserted. It looked as if no one was there. Simply walking into the town was not enough.

There were numerous wooden buildings. Think like that of an old western movie. There was in-fact a Saloon and a barber's shop. There was what looked like an inn. There were numerous buildings that had once been someone's homes. Then there at the end of the town was the sheriff's office right in the middle. But of course it looked old and run down, was anyone actually here or was the Village misinformed about its information? What would the clone do?

Lee kept his eyes on the clone as it walked until it would change direction. He remained a fair distance back, though making no effort to hide himself against the sands as it was next to impossible. The only form of hiding he did was performing another set of seals and performed a simple Henge. His shape would alter to look just like any normal person, albeit an inquisitive individual. Other than that, he kept his eyes open and waited.

The clone would search around, looking through individual buildings. Each door, starting at the closest and working back, it would open the doors and scan the area, looking for anything out of place. It would also shout inside loud and clear. "Hello! I was sent to help with some raider problems! Anyone around!"

As the clone searched through the buildings for the most part it would just find empty buildings nothing seriously helpful towards the missions. However, as the clone would get close to the Saloon he would hear voices inside, and if he listened even closer he would hear something else scampering around out back behind the saloon.

Luckily for the clone, he had not yet been heard. It would not be wise to continue being loud.
