You have received your mission and stand now in front of two men and one woman. The two men are close right hands of the man who was kidnapped. ”Please, if you can return with him alive, you must. Our village will be lost without him! We’ll give you anything to find him.” he said as he offered a bag of coin for either Miyuki or Futegai to take.

The second has his arms crossed as he looks at each of you in turn, appraising, and yet never speaking.

The woman is obviously the victim’s wife, tears run down her face and she keeps wiping them from her face even as new ones spring up. She can hardly speak through her tears.

”There’s a road that leads out of the village to an abandoned house, they’ve asked that someone meet them there with the ransom, that they will return him there. Please, take every precaution, they may not be willing to hold up their end of the bargain.”

Futegai walked up to the clients with his partner Miyuki and could see the sorrow in the woman's eyes and so from that point he knew they had to do this no matter what, failure wasn't an option!
Though he never expected such a mission would come about for him or the scribes but they were informed the village the clients were from had valuable texts that they may be willing to share if they helped them so it did make sense.

"Okay, we will do this, we promise we will get him back no matter what!" he stated with oomph, in an encouraging way.
He then nodded toward the man handing out the money and accepted it gleefully.
"I'll keep this safe until the time comes and hopefully it works like you said but if not we'll definitely do our best to get him out unharmed" he added.

OOC: I think she may have internet problems again, I haven't seen her on for some time.

((OOC: Unfortunately I need to hear that from her at this point. Every day I've checked to see if she's been on, the last two days in a row she's been on and posted nothing in the mission, departure threads, or anything. So I have to assume she just hasn't posted. The warning has to stand. If she does time I need to know if you'll want to continue mission or let it fail.))
