Preach to them! [Open]

The sky was stained with magenta and crimson, lively colors that spilled like blood through the infinite blue of the skies. Dawn was coming. The glorious Sun would come to transform the land. And it was in these moments, Kaze felt his largest surge of inspiration.

The Suna-born youth scribbled in his journal for a few moments, a fervent light in his eyes as he beheld the coming of the Sun. Basking in the predawn warmth, he took in a sharp breath, imagining he could smell the land around him responding to it's master. Turning his gaze over the small gathering, he bit his lip as to contain his excitement. This was the first time anyone would hear his words in a public forum. Since his mother's sacrifice he'd been preparing for this moment. His graduation from the Academy went according to plan, and now all that was left was to be placed into an appropriate position for growth within the Ninja world here in Suna. A place where he could serve the Sun and spread it's Light where darkness dare tread. A place he could call home.

"The Light touches us gently, friends." He started, his voice taking on a depth and resonance that was only reserved for such speaking occasions. His eyes rolled toward the sky, and his voice got stronger as he continued. "Treasure this time. Darkness has passed- and we are being gifted with the beauty of the Sun's entrance. Our lives.. our very LIVES follow this accord. We trudge through the darkness of our own souls.. and in coming out the other side.. we are greeted by such a gentle caress. This is the will of the Sun. The birth of the day is the birth of a Nation: caressed by the Light that promises an end to the murky black that is ignorance. That is hatred. That is pain. Sunagakure is such a nation. We are the dawn that must present itself to the world." A slight pause, to allow for gasps, applause, and for a quick breath. "He we stand, at the Dawn, newly purged from night's cold. Looking toward the warmth of day. Bask in this moment and know what is to come. Know the Glory of the Sun!"

Cheering, either in his head or in the sparse crowd erupted around Kaze, who humbly stepped away from where he was standing and silently joined the group to watch the sun Rise.

Mentally, he was already preparing for his next sermon.
Awai Minoru Chunin of the Leaf. Holder of nothing.

Mentor to no one.
