Sesshoujin
With the first of the smaller worms bisected the gruff bear gave the Suna shinobi a nod, noting the way he sealed the beast. In a way it was actually a little disconcerting, considering he was a spirit himself, to be trapped and sealed inside another or forced into the confines of weapon was a fate far worse than death. Still he wouldn’t lose sleep over his part to play in the worm’s demise, it had been an enemy and he had prevailed, that was all that he needed to know.
“Looks like I’m done here. Well fought.” He commented, appreciating the assist with the ration jutsu and with that the bear would disperse in a puff of smoke, returning to the spirit realm.
Masuru
Beneath his phoenix mask Masuru smiled as he noticed the fellow ANBU operative arrive on the scene, the man wasn’t clad in formal gear nor did he wear a mask but both had been a part of the organization long enough to put the pieces together and figure out a few of the more notable members.
“I appreciate the back up Tanchōzuru” he called out, having worked with the man on a handful of occasions but never really interacting with him outside of the uniform. Out here in the middle of the desert he wasn’t too worried about anyone overhearing him. Interestingly enough ‘Shujaku’ had actually narrowly avoided having the man as a Sensei, being apart of Takeo’s first team under the leadership of Toshiaki but advancing to Chunin quite quickly before Takeo had been reassigned to a new team and Sensei. Still he had great respect for the man, if nothing else from his reputation and both skilled and professional demeanor. Moving his own platform lower in elevation while simultaneously raising Hayashi’s he noted the clever use of ash jutsu to attempt to smoke the beast out.
Hovering 5 meters apart and each at an elevation of 25 meters the man would begin throwing a series of tagged kunai, twelve of them in total, each spaced about 5 meters apart, covering a large area and creating an explosive minefield of sorts. That was just the beginning however.
“One way or another we’ll flush him out” he assured, speaking almost to himself, he knew he didn’t need to explain strategy to Hayashi whom while equal in rank and status was admittedly much more skilled and experienced than himself.
‘And now for the finale’ he thought to himself, forming a set of seals and placing his hands outward for flair as a massive grid of deadly red lasers formed beneath them, covering a cube 20 meters in all dimensions. Next the Awai would form a single hand seal, detonating his explosive tags one at a time, detonating tags back and forth around the outer perimeter, collapsing the tunnel in the outer areas and hopefully spooking the creature inward, disorienting and continuing to injure it as it choked on the ash. Eventually he hoped it would seek salvation or retaliation on the surface, even if it meant just sticking its head out of the ground for some relief. And when he did the worm would find itself promptly sliced into small 6 inch sections as the lasers did their work. If not the Jounin would simply detonate the 8 tags in the middle, creating a large explosion which might have a similar effect regardless.
Takeo
The Hokage’s eyes widened as the colossal worm burst through the ground in front of him. To think anything could survive such outstanding force was truly a terrifying thought or at least it would be to most individuals. Instead of fear however Takeo’s eyes lit up with excitement as his heart pounded faster and a grin spread across his face. This was what he lived for, over the past few days these spirits had been fulfilling his craving for adrenaline and danger and more importantly brushing the rust off his combat skills. As the supposed strongest shinobi of the hidden leaf village it was of paramount importance that he remained in top form and that meant consistent combat at the highest levels. When the muscular leader eventually died or passed on his title he would be certain to be remembered as a leader who consistently fought on the front lines, carrying the heaviest burdens on his own shoulders and never shying away from a battle. Anyone or anything that threatened the leaf village would have to go through him first and he made sure to make that known to all.
His hand seals were brief as the beast reared up to slam into him. He didn’t have to do much, the worm was on very unstable ground after all, in fact the majority of its body was sliding back into the great canyon that he had created, meaning it would only get one chance to take the man down with it. Wind chakra gathered around Takeo’s feet as he leaped high into the air, easily 15 meters as chakra surged into his fist. He was faster than the colossal worm and his reaction speed was on a completely different level than the beast, that was all the advantage he needed. As it reared down towards the ground he was already above it, giving it no time to adjust its course of motion as he slammed all of his force into the top of the creatures head, harvesting its own momentum, his own remarkable strength and an additional explosive impact to desively slam its face into the ground. The massive impact in fact would be enough to reach the other worm, further adding to the explosions and confusion it was dealing with, cracking the earth and shaking it for hundreds of meters around the point of impact. The battle wouldn’t quite end their however.
Enhancing his leap once more the Hokage kicked off the creature’s head, flipping backwards into the air an additional 20 meters as he formed another set of hand seals. As he descended, still at a comfortable height above the trembling and collapsing ground the Hokage formed a massive wave of water, appearing from thin air ina truly tremendous feat considering the arid environment. The 60 meter wide wave would slam into the worm, pushing the last of it over the edge into the ravine and the substantial 25 meter fall. The water would seep into the brken earth, creating an elaborate network of streams and rivers in additional to the waterfall pouring down the cliff which would eventually settle into a small lake, drowning the beast if it wasn’t already dead. With one last set of handseals the man would create a pocket of air, landing gracefully above the flowing water and promptly leaping towards one of the dry areas next to one of the many streams. By now the man was breathing fairly heavily, seating lightly from exertion and from the heat. Assuming the creature had been overcome he would crouch down and cup some of the water, drinking from his hands and running some of the refreshing liquid over his head and face. Already he was feeling much more refreshed, still smiling contently from the battle.
"Hito owes me a full banquet after that one" he commented to himself, chuckling lightly. His team had done a great favor for the Sand village and he knew it would not be forgotten.

Light Release • Laser Death Trap
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming hand seals the user will use Hiton chakra to create a large grid of condensed light from within 10 meters of oneself. These lasers form at 10 speed and can slice and pierce through targets with 40 strength while also inflicting 3rd degree burns on contact and blinding any who look directly at any of the beams. The entire grid can take up an area of up to 20x20 meters cubed, creating a tight criss-crossing net with a minimum of 6 inches of space in the opening between where the lasers intersect. This defensive matrix can last for a maximum of 5 posts.
12 exploding tags
Chakra kai
Takeo
*Fuuton • Enhanced Launch
D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user gathers wind around their feet. Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at 3 extra speed. The user also has 3 less Taijutsu until they once again touch the ground. Those with less than 5 Taijutsu (after deduction) will stumble and fall when trying to land. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.
[Katon • Comet Punch Technique]

A technique much like its predecessor, the user instead concentrates a far more potent amount of chakra into their fist and rushes at an opponent quickly. When they punch, flames trail behind their fist giving this attack its name and when it connects it's both a powerful punch as well as an immediate release of flames in the fist. The flames travel in an updraft style, exploding with the force of four exploding tags directed outward from the user's fist. It also can cause first or second degree burns and the overall force of the punch is enough to blow a hole in concrete or uproot entire trees.
Colliding worlds
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
When in close range Takeo will cup either an opponent’s head or control them under their arm, he will then spin and turn their body in a wheel like fashion, hurtling them towards a wall or additional opponents will devastating force. Often this technique is used against charging opponents, utilizing their own momentum against them, however this can be used against a stationary target as well though in such a case the opponent can resist if their strength is equal to or greater than Takeo’s.
*Suiton • Tidal Wave
S-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user creates water from thin air and forms so much that it creates a tidal wave 60 meters wide and 10 meters tall. The wave will flow forward at a speed of 30 and with 40 strength, crashing into and destroying everything in it's path for up to 50 meters before running out of power.
Fuuton • Wind Cushion
C-ranked Fuuton jutsu
After forming the required hand seals Takeo will focus chakra into a location within 15 meters of his person. At the designated location a platform of wind will emerge with up to a 10 meter radius and up to 2 meters of depth. When a force impacts this accumulation of wind it will act as a cushion, bracing the impact of a fall from even a height of up to 100 meters. The wind will disperse harmlessly on impact, similarly doing no harm to those land on it. This construct of sorts forms with a speed of 10.
