The forest was quiet save for the slow gallop of horses and the occasional grunts from the armed men walking with them. Anyone who was sane would never stray anywhere near these tough looking hombres, as they clearly screamed dangerous and uncaring, but still sometimes for love people do insane things.

There was a loud whistle from the second carriage as the horses slowed to a halt and the men walking followed suit. An older man stood from the his seat, whistle held between his lips before dropping it and letting it swing on his chest. Wearing nothing but his skin and mighty chest hair he seemed to be the boss of this band of criminals, “Listen up ladies we break for fifteen minutes!! Void you bowel n your bladder then get your arses back in position!!”

With cries of relief and shuffling the group of men all buzzed into a frenzy of activity, most scattered into the surrounding woods for what little privacy they could get while others took up watch. Two men held their place, axes and swords at the ready in front of steel doors that made up the wagons. They were covered in all places save the back, and it appeared that these guards would not be leaving like the rest. Four men, two wagons and a lot of trees, how Haru would rescue the girl was up to him.

(Let it be known that I asked you if there were guards in the woods and the four at the wagons, you said four at the wagons, that leaves them four and the captain. I am working under this assumption, let me know if I need to edit)

Haru's eyes were but slits as he glared at the people who dared to take the girl he cared about more than anything in the world. Many different ideas of how to kill the guards flashed through his mind, but after a deep breath to calm himself he went with the one that mad the most since. Unstrapping Himei from his back Haru prepared himself for the shriek that he knew was about to come. Even after only drawing Himei an inch from her sheath, her piercing scream was let use unto the world. Haru quickly laid Himei on the ground as he darted off into the woods. His plan was simple, use Himei to draw the attention of the guards away from the wagon while he circled around and struck from behind.

With Himei's shrieking masking the sounds he made Haru was soon on the opposite side of the the wagons, and took two tomahawks from his belt, ready to use them as throwing weapons, or in hand to hand combat. Come on baby, draw them to you, I know you can.

(Right then here we go)

The loud shriek from the metal caught not only the attention of the captain and his guards, but of every man in the general area. The four men drew their swords and started to charge towards the sound, but it seemed the man in charge had other plans. "HOLD IT YOU IDIOTS!! This could be a trap, or worse a distraction. You two go check it out and kill whoevers there. You others get back on post and be alert." Obeying their orders two men headed into the forest leaving one guard at each wagon, but both now facing away from where Haru was now approaching. The leader was atop the farthest wagon, holding a spear as he too was looking towards the forest in the opposite way.

Just as Haru reached the wagon, and in prime position to take down the guard quietly, the thicket behind him started rustling wildy suggesting someone or something was approaching fast. The samurai would only have a couple of seconds to move as it seemed to be coming right for him, but luckly others had not seemed to notice...yet.

Haru heard the rustling behind him and decided to act fast. Ignoring the sound behind him, Haru hurled one of his tomahawks at the captain, mainly because he had no armor on his torso. Fuck I have to figure something out and quick! Haru looked around, knowing that the guards would know where he was by now, and decided to charge them before whatever it was behind him caught up to him.

Haru charged the second wagon, a tomahawk still in his left hand, and jumped on to the second wagon. Have at you slaver scum! You shall not take her!

Haru deciding on his action, threw his tomahawk straight and true just as a bandit appeared from the woods behind him, sword sheathed and his hands on his belt. "What the--INTRUDER!!!" His cry echoed through the camp, as the leader turned towards the cry only to recieve a axe into he right shoulder "ARGHHHHHHH". As he screamed the man fell from the wagon and out of view as a thud announced his meeting with the ground. Acting with duty the guards started to attack the boy with novice blows, succeding in halting him from his destination that was the wagon, but still not scoring a blow. Only when the assaliant from behind joined the attacks did Haru have to block their strikes with his weapon. So far no others had arrived to join the fray, but the other guard was now coming over towards them and was looking to make it a three on one.
