The burly giant strolled along his traveling companion, Ryota, on a grey, paved road. Surrounding them was a forest; a forest with trees tall enough to accommodate the surplus of birds that inhabited the land. The boys moved methodically and inattentively, barely noticing the chance of environment and never exchanging more than a few words as they crossed the country border into the Land of Pebbles. Here, the forest disappeared and a rather empty, hilly area with not much sign of vegetation took its place. It was another hour before the duo encountered others, and they were only miners working in a quarry, but Kenta picked up some information about a nearby town where work might be found. The two immediately went in its direction, seeking to find a job and a meal.
After another dull moment of traveling, the missing-nin both found themselves at the wooden fences of the town they were told about. When they entered, they were at once drawn to the smell of a nearby shop. As they stepped in, the smell of sizzling meat met their noses and they sighed in relief. Finally, he thought. After enjoying the aroma and sight of the various meats, Kenta realizes that he has little to pay with as his wallet had been empty for quite the time since he left Iwagakure. The Sakebi had known little about conserving money, and thus his funds had been depleted rather quickly.
Sighing, the boys realized they would have to do without a meal for a while longer. Kenta approached the tender of the shop, trying his best to offer a warm smile. "Hello, we are interested in finding work. Do you know where we could find some?" The middle-aged man that stood behind the counter glanced down the enormous boy and sized him up as capable, "I've been needing to get some new meat to fill our stock. I'd be willing to pay you if you were to bring me bull meat. They usually graze in the patches of grass southeast of here." And with that, the clerk turned to tend to another customer, and the boys found their way out of the shop, enthusiastic to take on the job and receive their pay.

"The Land of Pebbles is somewhat akin to the Land of Wind, what with the lack of greenery. This is somewhat reminiscent of home," Ryota mumbles, speaking only to himself, as the two trudge along a rugged trail. Cringing in pain, he rubs his foot for a moment, having tripped over a stone. Ryota's feet had begun to blister, due to continuous walking without pause. and these sores caused the shorter of the pair to walk with some sort of a limp, threatening to hinder their progress on the mission. Having a great bit of pride, Ryota refuses to ask for help, and pushes through the pain as they continue their journey. Minutes turn to hours, and it appears that they have finally arrived at their destination; a sizable field of grass, inhabited by a myriad of bulls.
"That one seems to fit our needs, eh?" Ryota asks, pointing towards a behemoth-sized specimen.

I'm guessing the bigger, the more we get paid, and that's one fat cow." The Sakebi licked his lips in anticipation and drew the humongous shield strapped to his back.

Taking note of his comrade's immediate danger, Ryota focuses chakra into his soles and vertically leaps about ten feet, putting the beast in his sights. Making sure not to hit Kenta, he deeply inhales, sending out a blast of chakra-infused wind towards the colossal creature, which impacts on its back. This jutsu fails to do much of anything besides anger the creature, and now its focus lies with Ryota. It stomps its hoof on the ground, kicking up dust, and initiates a mad dash towards Ryota, with its head down and horns pointed outward. He lowers his center of gravity and tightens his grip around his sword handle, narrowing his eyes towards the mighty monstrosity. Ryota waits until the timing is right, and once the bull is within range, he rapidly unsheathes his sword, attempting to slice the bull's eyes with one clean cut. The beast cries out in pain, but continues down the same path just as fast, if not faster. Normally, Ryota would simply roll or jump out of the way, but in the process of attempting this pain from his blisters shoot through his body, sending him to the ground in agony.

The giant's small companion, Ryota, had managed to catch the beast's attention with a few blows and cuts, and so Kenta had time to think over the situation momentarily. Obviously there's little I can do without the use of my ninjutsu. And so, the giant formed the necessary hand seals in order to activate his beloved technique: the Sakebi chakra armor. A barely-visible ripple of air surrounded him for a moment, and then it stilled, becoming completely unnoticeable. With this armor active, the giant's vigor seemed replenished. Kenta pulled himself up from the ground, and carried along his shield with a single hand effortlessly, as the armor is also capable of lightening the weight of items that come into contact with its user.

The giant stood completely still afterward, having not even felt the recoil of his own attack due to his armor absorbing the brunt of it. He smirked smugly to himself and then looked to Ryota, "Let's put the damn thing down already. A good cut to the throat should do it. The impact of the bull hitting the ground created a small crater in the soil, and in it the bull laid. But, as the giant spoke, the beast managed to get back to its feet, although still it remained blind. The bull was feeling the effects of its loss of sight and quickly began to swing its horns around in a frenzy, looking to hit anything that dared to approach it.

By forming the needed hand seals, a Sakebi member is capable of creating a presence of chakra all over their body, just beneath the skin, which lasts for four posts. This presence serves not as a physical barrier, but rather catches and diverts the kinetic energy (up to three paper bomb's worth or five strength) from outside attacks. This energy is absorbed and re-directed throughout the armor, going so far as to partially power it (meaning the only chakra expenditure necessary for this technique is that which is used to cast it.) If more energy is delivered in an attack than what the energy can absorb, the armor will absorb as much as it can and the Sakebi will take the brunt of the remaining attack. Note that this technique is a signature move of the Sakebi, and may be actively channeled and maintained even while using other techniques.
~Dokeru Fuka -- To Remove a Burden

While using their specialized Chakra Armor, a Sakebi is able to effectively reduce the pressure put on their bodies or single appendages by absorbing the energy emitted by the item in question which pushes down on them. This reduces pounds of pressure put on their bodies by heavy loads, and can make heavy things feel up to fifty pounds lighter without reducing that object's weight.
~Girisifu no Jutsu -- Just Safe Technique

By absorbing the kinetic energy released back into their own body while delivering blows to a victim, members of the Sakebi clan are able to prevent damage and pain to themselves caused by their own massive taijutsu strikes. It is to be noted that it is the armor of the Sakebi member doing the absorption, meaning that it will count towards the maximum that can be taken in at any given time.
