The trio had traveled for a couple weeks, even traveling along the sea for a bit in order to reach the remote country of Shrimp. Kai had been able to retrieve from information that put them on the trail of the famed Dream Stone which was one of the remaining minerals that Nehan had on her list to gather. It had cost a pretty penny but the information from this broker was over ninety percent reliable and was someone who prided himself in his information, not one to risk tarnishing his reputation over a little money. To ruin your reputation in his game was like cutting off your own hand. In turn the information had said that the only rumors of the supposed metal came from the special mountains called the Pillars of Heaven, the tallest set of known mountains in the world. Those three now were traveling on a small trail through the forest, the small nerd in there group was of course rambling about some geology subject as Kai held a spot in the rear while Nehan was up front. In the distance as a set of three towering mountains, the one in the middle being the tallest, at the base of the middle mountain was a small city.

To say that she never expected that the journey would take this long was an understatement, considering that she had only managed to gather one of the stones. A sigh would've rolled out of her tongue if it wasn't for the fact that she was expecting something to come out of this. Kai had begun to earn her respect along the way, which was hard for her to admit as she wasn't the type to let people into her life and Chifu was working hard to earn the right to live after this annoying mission. Nehan wasn't sure though if eating him for a meal would be worth it, seeing as he could easily be sitting on other valuable information, though as of yet, she knew that the second ore could be a fiction for all she knew.

Nehan continued to lead the way, while Kai did what he did best, prove his worth. Chifu continued to speak as always, which at this point had become something of a white noise, though she made sure to listen in from time to time as she had nothing against learning new information. For all she knew, Jashin had placed her next to this man to evolve her brain, to learn about the world she once hated, to be honest, the world appeared more beautiful through Chifu's eyes as he seemed to act like a child being handed the greatest gift, the gift of getting what you have only previously dreamed of. Maybe Nehan should attempt to view the world through the same eyes? I am spending way too much time with this fucking nerd. Nehan grunted as she turned around to look at the duo, her eyes was as cold as ever and her blank expression soon changed into a grin.

"Who would've thought that we would ever get to this piece of shit continent, though I must confess that this place is beautiful." Nehan was contradictory at best, crazy at worst, but today she was actually starting to enjoy the band she was creating.

“Beautiful? Meh, far to cold for my liking here….” Kai responded directly to the woman he had gotten to know a little bit better during their journey together so far, she had his respect for strength and fighting prowess. It was a rare feat to meet another warrior on this level, even one above his own. But at times he began to wonder if the pay was worth all this trouble, especially not killing the little nerd Chifu who never seemed to shut the fuck up. Grunting he allowed for his one good eye to shifted from the woman’s grin to the large mountains in the distance, the largest of the three in the center more specifically as it was the groups destination. Exhaling slowly the man crossed his arms across his broad chest, rubbing his biceps as the temperature was already dropping towards freezing and they hadn’t even reached the small city at the base of the mountain.

“I’ve heard that the locals don’t look to friendly upon visitors to their so called sacred mountain, a bunch of religious monks or something. Do we want to even try to deal with them, Nehan-san?” Though the man appeared to be a brutish mercenary the man held a respectful tone for the woman who had tossed him across a bar during an arm wrestling competition with one another for some free whiskey. He’d picked up some information from the sailors who they’d caught a ride with to the southern port of the country, it would seem that the local’s revered the mountain as a sacred place and didn’t normally let outsiders climb its heavenly sized peak.
