A large, five meter diameter portion of space suddenly twisted and the space itself tore open revealing a vast starscape on the other side of this portal which had appeared in the vast forest of a random country Zao had visited in the past. Following the formation of the portal a flash blur of wooden hue passed through the opening in space from Zao's personal realm to the human world. It flew through the sky for a few hundred meters before the portal which had formed so suddenly twisted back into normal space as though nothing had occurred in the first place. As the blur came into focus as it stopped it revealed a large wooden dragon that was probably around twenty meters in length with a set of four large wooden wings upon its back that were slowly flapping which allowed for the puppet body of Gogyou to remain hovering above the forest landscape below. Standing atop the creatures twisted looking head was a white robed, white haired scholarly looking man with a set of crystal blue eyes that gaze out at the world below with a gentle smile upon his thin face.
"My friend, it seems that you've become use to your new body." A soft voice slipped behind the thin lips on Zao's face as his bright gaze shifted from the tree dotted land and onto the dragon puppet below his feet now, speaking to Gogyou who appeared to have finally been able to grasp complete control over the wooden body which was being used in place of its original body. "Aye, this isn't to bad. I'm faster and stronger than I was with my real body, actually." The wood dragon spoke back to its master now, being a Joruri had allowed for the chakra of dragon to seep into the puppet body and empower it to a level far beyond what a normal puppet was capable of. "Now then, I think this should suffice for what you wanted to train."
The pair had tore through space from his personal realm to this remote southern country in order for the wood dragon to begin relearning some of its own wood ninjutsu which it hadn't been able to perform since having its soul core transferred into this specialized body that the Suna nin had created for him to help make the transfer a bit easier for the spirit. After a few moments the pair descended casually down to an open spot within the forest and Zao took this time to leap off to the side and allow for his new companion to begin retraining himself on how to control its wood elemental ninjutsu now. It's claw like hands were very close to the kind of appendage's the dragon had in its original wood body and it began to slowly form a series of hand seals now.
"Let me start off with that..." With the new strength of this puppet body, Gogyou finished the short set of hand seals and then brought one clawed hand out to the side now as from the wooden palm a cylinder started to rapidly grow out from the hand. It was a wooden spear that was sharp on both ends, growing to a length comparable to the spirit puppet's own body now as the wood spear was grasped securely by both clawed hands. "I honestly didn't have much use for this kind of jutsu with my original body. But with my increased physical abilities I'll be able to make good use of something like this..." The wood dragon’s voice was deep and filled with power and confidence as it moved with impressive speed and swung the long spear in a horizontal strike that smashed into a nearby tree.
While not impressively huge the tree that was targeted was still a few feet in width and under the strength of the puppet body the spirit was able to cleanly smash through the tree almost like it had been paper. It was to the surprise of the wood spirit the power that he was able to exert through this body of his. Leaving him wonder about just what level he could push this body and his wood techniques to as he continued to become stronger..
