They stood on a beach, Shio no Kuni, there new home for the comings days, perhaps longer. It was practically noon, with the sun straight above them. They would have a great deal of time to train here.
Turning to Michi, Shio gestured to Kesu to stay, walking off along the beach about 30 meters before stopping. "This is ninjutsu for you, the first you're going to learn. But, its very easy. I do this for you all the time.", he placed his hand on the 7 foot tall child's stomach, chakra surging through his body as he fell down to being a mere 4'6" tall., he stopped for a moment, before another surge, the child growing back to his proper size, "That feeling in your belly? You need to recreate that. It's going to be like sucking in a big breath and holding it. Think about trying to be small.", he smiled softly at the large boy, "We've talked plenty about chakra, you think you can do this?", Michi nodded.
"Hai. Focus hard. Feel the energy. Suck it in. Be small. I can do that.", he said with a wide smile. Shio nodded and turned to walk away. Michi then adjusted his feet, taking a wide stance, and placing both hands together in front of him. Closing his eyes, he tried to feel the chakra moving through his body. He was hardly chakra attuned, but Shio has been helping him grow and shrink since they had met, so he had started getting used to the feeling of Shio's chakra joining with his. He spent a lot of the time he was alone trying to focus onto it and feel the energy inside his body. Over the past week or two he'd gotten slightly better at it. He was sure he'd be able to do it properly by now. He just needed some more time to train.

Walking back to Kesu, Shio continued past the boy, beckoning him to following. Putting about 60 meters between the two small children. Enough space that they'd be able to focus on themselves without getting caught up with each other. "So we need to figure out what your white flame does. And to do that, we're gonna have to start out with something easy."
