Three years ago, during a time that the so called now Great War was in full swing one could find a young looking man with a very slender frame dressed with a kit of battle armor that included leather chest armor and a well crafted leather and iron skull cap. He was only one of a handful of men left standing in the platoon of the rebel armor that pushed back against the greedy shinobi who were attempting to seize their lands. This was not the first battle for the leather armor wearing man, he had clashed with the foe known as shinobi before and to terrible results. Ken had always been a fighter but being a fighter was not the same as shinobi. They utilized a magic known as chakra and fought with control over different elements while all the young man himself sported was his fighting knives and his unique body that was from his family's special genetics. From the previous clashes the rebels of Dragon country had to adapt their tactics to more of a guerrilla style hit and run tactics.

Obviously attempting to fight head on was not a good option ever, especially against shinobi who had a good deal of combat experience and a capacity to fight at long or short range. Down a narrow part of the road a small supply caravan was crossing over the border into their homeland to resupply the shinobi forces that had already taken over fifty percent of the ground's land at this point and Ken's group found themselves constantly being pushed back into a corner the longer this 'Great War' drew on. As the convoy escorted by a handful of shinobi entered range a silent signal went out to the group of around ten young men before one man cut a rope causing a large tree trunk to swing down and crash into the side of the first wagon. A moment later five of the group lit arrows on fire and with impressive aim sent the arrows spiraling down into the last wagon causing it to quickly catch fire. The stage was set as the shinobi set up a wall of security and the civilian travelers helping them move the supplies were attempting to put out the fire and deal with the handful of casualties created from the tree hitting the first.

Perhaps it was best to describe this as the 'fog of war' may scholar's talk about in their books. Though it caused confusion for the shinobi they still weren't easy target's as four of the fighter's fighting knives cut through the bush catching one in the shoulder as the other four were deflected by the similarly shaped kunai wielded by the enemy shinobi. Many thought of the Hidden Leaf as one of the more humble and caring of the village's but Ken saw them for what they truly were, just another greedy power house looking to take advantage of a weaker nation. It created such an anger in the man that his teeth ground together at the mere thought of a shinobi, let alone one from the Leaf village. The fragile looking man armed with two more of his fighting knives with the company of four others attacked at an angle from where his weapons had attacked from as the clash ensued. Ken's blades smashed against the two kunai wielded by the shinobi that he had locked weapons with as he quickly overpowered the one shinobi before using a spinning heel kick to send the target several meters away.

Though he appeared fragile with no sign of muscle upon any portion of his body the man's muscles developed very differently from others due to the unique bone structure that his family had, instead of growing in bulk they wound themselves tighter like a cord being braided, often causing man to misjudge or underestimate what strength he was truly capable off. The target smashed back first into the side of the second wagon but before he could exploit the advantage that he'd created another pair stepped in front of his dagger like knives and parried his movement before forcing him a few steps back. He spun around as he moved back extending his leg out in a sweep like attack that would have normally been out of range but controlling the elastic nature of his own body the leg extended over two meters and he was able to sweep one of the two off their feet, injuring the leg of the one who wasn't able to dodge. Then he thrusted out with the right arm at the one who had leaped upwards causing the arm to rapidly extend outward leaving the shinobi no way to truly dodge as the fighting knife pierced through the center of his flak and into his chest about five inches as the arm continued to extend and curve down causing the body of the shinobi to crash down into the top of the second wagon where the first shinobi was just recovering from.

His elastic body was truly a gift when it came to close range fighting, being able to attack in unique and different ways that one wasn't use to allowed for him to gain a quick upper hand in short battles like this one where surprise and violence of action were keep traits to follow.
