Shuichi and Maido paced back and forth talking amongst themselves. He thought about what she had said to him as they traveled forwards deep into the land of Stars. "You know, Its not so bad being here I guess." Shuichi smiled. "You reckon?" "Yeah, I reckon." She hummed a little bit in his ear softly, a soft, sweet melody that was akin to a tune he thought he had heard before perhaps. "Is that a real song?" "Yeah."
"Okay Hao, show us what you got." Hao, Shuichi and Maido's training partner, readied his stance. He was a good man, a great man perhaps, yet a flawed one just as Shuichi himself. It was a pity what the two of them had done to each other, really, but, it had come to this. Hao stepped forwards and slashed at Shuichi with his katana, swinging at him ferociously and causing Shuichi to recoil backwards. He leapt back and began to form hand seals as Hao did the same. Hao shot forth a volley of arrows, several of them in unison in a wide arc towards Shuichi as Shuichi himself send forth a wall of metal directly formed out of his body. "Come wind, come snow, come winter lands." Hao had said, taking another step forwards as a volley of iron arrows shot forth. The arrows pummelled through the air towards Shuichi and Maido but Shuichi gracefully slid underneath them, sending a knife towards Hao from below as he slid underneath the barrage. Shuichi followed this up by throwing another knife. Hao batted them away with his bare hands. Well "bare" as they could be in that that were made of Kouton just as Shuichi's own were. Hao darted forward, cutting off Shuichi as he attempted to stand and attempting to deliver a straight kick to his head as he rose up. Shuichi toppled over, avoiding the attack and rolling to the side.
He didn't stop however, for he knew the assault would be relentless, Shuichi spun his legs around wide, flailing them into the air to create distance and cause Hao to step back or risk getting kicked hard as Shuichi's body spiraled up from the ground. Shuichi's right hand planted and the rest of his body launched into Hao's side, both of Shuichi's feet crashing hard into his ribs.
