Another day, another opportunity to earn Ryo. Another day, another way, money and land was all that crossed the mind of the mercenary, he knew better to question the way of the ninja world, his comrade, a zealot thought otherwise and in fact made him question why he would ever get involved in this dirty business, perhaps it was because he thought it would be a good opportunity to save people around the world if they asked for it? Or maybe it was some misguided attempt to redeem himself? Either way he was always happy to have Enzaragi by his side.
These trips tended to be lonely in the past, before S.O.F was a thing, before Setsuzoku managed to get a foot ground on the world spectrum. He had lost some friends along the way but gained so much more in return, and the zealot was one of them. Not everyone is as lucky as I am I guess, maybe I should try to be more accepting of the future... Chikara sighed and turned his gaze forwards.
"Stay vigilant Enza, we are going to infiltrate this small town and take out anyone who poses a threat to Kintsugi, with these fake patches we shouldn't take any unnecessary bounty, but orders are orders no? Hopefully we won't accidentally kill any civilians, but accidents do happen..." Chikara paused for a second as he wasn't sure those were the right words.
His Shōgō-zumi was activated and already recording everything that was in his path for he knew that today was one of those days were action was truly going to happen. He was still getting adjusted to the eye and still had to train it to reach the point where he could, if still possible, create what appeared to be a chakra manifestation that enveloped the caster AND copy and steal jutsu, which excited him.
"We will reach the village at zero hundred, which should allow us to sneak in as best as we can and force out any unwanted from this land. The intel we got was that they house at least two to three missing ninjas, which means that we will be dealing with chakra users one way or another. If we are lucky, we can deal with them easy, if we are unlucky... Which isn't unusual... We will face three opponents, each mastering different styles, either way, we'll smoke them out." Chikara read the brief he had been handed by Shuichi, detailing the area, the amount of recorded soldiers and general information that would allow Setsuzoku to fly in at night and take over the town. There were still unknown variables but that always came with the job, now the question that remained was whether this mission would require maximum efficiency or effort.
Kintsugi had hired Setsuzoku to clear out a space for an outpost, which they gladly accepted in exchange for the surgery they both received. Enzaragi with his endoskeleton surgery which had weighed him down enough for Shiryoku to take notice and Chikara with the Shōgō-zumi, a doujutsu he knew would come to assist them greatly in the future. The chakra the man poured into the eye was seemingly continuous but that was because he was still getting a hang of it.

It had been awhile since they had a proper boot's on the ground mission, a lot of paperwork supervision guidance was needed to run a country, and they had managed to strike a deal with Kintsugi, and now they would do what mercs do best get their hands dirty on behalf of others for the right price. Both of their surgeries was almost payment enough, but to take on a mission on their behalf for even more Ryo well you could say it was immediately on the table.
Enzaragi's skeleton weighted down on him heavily it was exhausting, it was unlikely he would even be able to move if it weren't for his regeneration it was cumbersome, but he knew it would be worth it as he gets more used to the weight and metal. He understood that eventually it would become a natural extension of his own body.
Unbeknownst to them, Enzaragi and Chikara shared similar thoughts. They both lost a lot and gained a lot, they had achieved something that Enzaragi could never hope to dream off for Setsuzoku and an entire country got added to Setsuzoku's exploits Jiyū no shuken it was a pillar for their philosophies free from the grasp of the big five with their own ways to rule. Even if they had to do a lot of bad, but the way zealot saw it was a means to a better end. Regardless, they had a mission to do.
"Copy that Chikara! It could possibly be fairly straight forward, and I'm sure the civilians will be fine so long as we don't get too reckless." Enzaragi responded whilst looking outwards towards their mission location.
"Pray to Jashin that's not the case then, right, Chikara? Sneak as much as we can. Reduce the forces as much as possible and take out the missing ninja. Report back to Shuichi. Mission accomplished!" Knowing their luck, or maybe it was the will of Jashin either, it was hard to think it would happen as smoothly as he described.
As they got closer and closer, Enzaragi thought of any possible variable in case it would show up and hamper their mission and which way Enzaragi could possibly respond. One of those variables was the fact that Enzaragi's skeleton was almost a suit of armor his entire skeletal defensive structure was increased drastically his fists were like maces, his elbows are like blades, his shins like axes, and his knees were spears he could use this to his advantage not only to deal more damage but to also use it to defend against other attacks. Enzaragi has always had a risky fighting style, his scar-riddled body was proof of that. He was a take-one-hit-to-deal two kinds of guy, but now he could even use his body to block in a dire situation or to intentionally get closer by baiting attacks and blocking them with his bone structure. He felt even more invincible than ever before.
And this was the mission to prove those feelings as well.

Chikara thought back to the day he chose to form his life around helping others for money, he remembered when he stood by the border of Fire Country and knew that if things didn't go the way he had hoped then he would pay the price that was placed on his head. He wondered how high the price was? For he had made sure that most missions he did had some sort of noble intentions, well, not every mission but the vast majority of them.
From time to time, he even took a single ryo to assist, because he knew that he couldn't force people to pay for a service they had no chance of paying. Chikara sighed, he was frankly getting a bit tired of running around the world doing spontaneous missions, sure, this wasn't a spontaneous one, this was a special contract, but without a true HQ the country they ran was in a bit of trouble for anyone could just stroll in as far as they knew.
Sure, this was part of the world map now, but he knew that anything could change, war was always around the corner, pain was something that was always seeking revenge, so no matter how much the 35-year-old mercenary thought, complaining wasn't the right path. Enzaragi seemed rather more accustomed to the idea of missions after missions, but he had a true goal, redemption, while Chikara seemed to be living from paycheck to paycheck, drink to drink, even though it had been a while since he truly drank.
Another sigh escaped his breath as his did his best to hold his head high. "This is not an appropriate conversation to have right before a mission but... Do you ever wonder if all of this is worth it? Like, there is an alternative timeline where we both lived our respective lives and never had to deal with any of this bullshit?" Chikara clicked his tongue as he finished speaking, this wasn't the conversation topic he wanted to bring up today, but age seemed to be creeping up on him and the way they had dealt with their country almost set him to start planning for the future.
Chikara knew that no matter how much he tried, he couldn't escape his destiny, what it was he had no clue but he had a sneaking sensation that S.O.F was part of it, but would he be around to see the land bare its fruit? Or would he just become a fading memory of the old? Where the hell does these thoughts come from? Why am I wasting so much time thinking about shit that doesn't matter, everyone lives, and everyone dies, end of it. Chikara grunted before he took a deep breath. "Scratch that question, I guess the eye is effecting me more than I expected... They say organ transplants brings the energy of the other person into your persona."
Chikara had also noticed that he was far more aggressive than he was before, as if he was split in his mindset over how he would proceed with his future.

But was it really redemption if he took odd jobs that were paid for? Going on conquests and various missions for shady individuals whose intentions often hid dark motivations with external motives liars and tricksters was something common in this business. That's why they tried to take on missions that were for the most part good or noble. Something that helped people for the most part.
The business did make him wonder if it truly was a path of redemption if he got paid to do these kinds of jobs. The way his redemption wasn't only for himself, but also for the people bringing prosperity to a massive country would surely pay back any mishaps this job wrought. Surely in the eyes of Jashin, the amount of repenting and dedication for Jashin made Enzaragi at the very least in Jashin's good graces.
Enzaragi speculated before Chikara asked him an oddly philosophical question. The drunk usually didn't ask these kinds of things, especially on missions. "Hmm, I do wonder that. But I believe that our vision and the amount of time and effort have made it worth it. Even without all that the adventures and friendships that we have formed were worth it or at least I think so. Enzaragi paused slightly before continuing. "Maybe in another world, we are beside our families doing our daily chores and dealing with the trials of daily life. But speculating over what if's and maybes isn't something worth doing. Sometimes we suffer more in imagination than reality."
"We are here now everything we have done has led to us being here and that is all that matters no?" These were lessons from both his own father taught him and his faith in Jashin. Praying and meditation allowed Enzaragi to center himself and focus on what hurt or bothered him at the moment, so he could redirect his focus. Which made the zealot curious as to why his friend from Konoha asked these questions. Why now? What was it that bothered him so? Enzaragi speculated but came to no conclusion and now was not really the time to ask. Maybe after the mission?
Chikara cut it short before proceeding speculating maybe the person was still inside the eye. "You are superstitious like that? The way is see it he is with Jashin now. But maybe you are right all of a sudden you will be less drunk and more pleasant to be around." Enzaragi joked trying to lighten the mood and maybe shift Chikara's mind off his more worried thoughts before directing his focus on their objective.
Enough speculation it was time for action. "Enough of that Chikara let's get to business." Enzaragi crouched down his movement felt less stealthy despite nothing on the outside looking nor the noise changing with his heavier frame. It was all placebo just because of how dense and heavy his bones were and felt in comparison to his original bone. He wasn't used to it, yet it would come with time.

The man called “Sin” by his followers had his feet up. His men were all around the bar, and the barkeep was nervous. Rightly so, for he and his men had owned this town for the past five years, and they would move on soon, once the money dried up. They drank for free, smoked for free, were offered young succulent pieces of ass. Ah yes, it was truly good to be “Sin.”
“Barkeep.” He grunted, at the man who shrank from his graveled baritone which sounded like sandpaper had been applied to it from the smoking and drinking he had done. He was only thirty, but looked almost twice his age for the hair and wrinkles on his face were grizzled and gnarled. Sin was relaxed with his feet in the air and the two front legs of his chair were off the ground. If he had been any more relaxed, he would have been in bed.
“Yes sir?” The barkeep asked, averting eye contact with Sin, which pleased him, pleased him enough that he didn’t throw something at the man, yet. There was a curious part of the bar that they were staying. There was a sticky film on the wall which used to house booze and liquor, and there seemed to be ryo pieces sticking out of the wood there.
“I’ll have another.” He rattled the ice in his drink, which was very empty, and placed it on the table next to him. Two members of his gang chuckled, they were playing cards and relaxing after a day going around collecting ‘insurance money’ from the town.
Another three were sitting around a table with balls on it that they hit with sticks. They called it, ‘Billiards’ or something. Sin couldn’t be bothered with the game, he had an image to keep up. He watched the man approach him with a bottle held between two hands to steady the shakes as he got closer. The apprehension and fear that the man could smell on the barkeeper was palpable, it made him want flesh. Softer flesh than his, that was.
“And while you’re at it, have a girl sent to my room.” He tapped the glass with one of the rings on a hand that dwarfed the tumbler. As the barkeep approached the man, the size difference could be plainly seen. The man that relaxed in the chair with his feet on the table was enormous, looking to be almost three meters tall with hands the size of bread loafs. He smiled easily at the bartender and quick as a whip grabbed two cigars from the man’s pocket.
“For your trouble then.” He took out a ryo piece and put it between his finger and thumb, looking like he was about to toss it and then flicked it. The sound, like a gunshot, filled the bar as the ryo piece lodged next to a couple of others, buried deep in the wood behind the bar.
“Th-thank you sir.” The bartender bowed and scraped and then ran off to the back to go find someone who had a daughter they were willing to give over to him. It was much more satisfying when the parents made them go to his room. And all the better when they were dripping with fear.
He sat back, flicking his thumb across the inside of his fingers that were balled into a fist and a flame shot out of the tip of his thumb. He lit his cigar lazily and watched the stairs that led to his room, waiting for the next piece of meat that he would be enjoying to be brought to his room. Yes, it truly was a good thing that he and the others had defected from their villages and found this nice sleepy country. As long as you stay away from the dinosaurs, he thought, it isn’t half bad for a place to settle down.

Chikara listened to his partner in crime and felt that he had stepped over the line, something was clearly off with him and he knew that it all started the day he had implanted the eye. Was he becoming more spiritual? Was Enzaragi getting to him? A sigh escaped his breath as he focused on the task ahead, his new eye found itself searching high and low for answers of life while his old eye kept on monitoring the vistas.
High above the clouds they soared towards their target, journeys like these were always taxing on the mind for they were far off into distant lands, far away from their armies and warm beds, hell, Chikara was far away from his hive, which he realised needed to upgrade them, so that next time he was on a mission things would go smoother. He knew that there weren't that many people out there who could deny the combination of the Hive, especially with Enzaragi on his side.
"The leader of this rag tag crew is named Sin... How appropriate, I guess I'll leave it up to Jashin to decide if his life was a sin or not huh?" A shitty joke but such situations called for it, in fact a thought popped up in his head and he almost began to laugh before he got serious, he turned to face Enzaragi and grinned under his mask. "What do you call a soldier who survived a fireball and salt style?"
Chikara turned his gaze forwards, his mind almost wandered as he awaited for Enzaragi to answer, which would most likely be wrong, but in the off chance that it wasn't he would commend him. "A seasoned veteran." The former drunk chuckled, life was always good before the mission started.
"Game face on! We are about one kilometres away from our target."
There was always nervous jitter in the air, but it always disappeared when they neared the location. Shiryoku flew down and landed 1 kilometres from the designated town, Chikara leapt off the eagle and watched it take off once again, he was to act as their eyes, all he missed now was his sense, touch and strength. A sigh rolled out as he turned to face his comrade. "Remember, we only have to kill the ones that pose a threat, I know I don't have to tell you twice, but you know. Procedures." As of yet the man before him had never flown off the handle, but one could never be too certain when it came to these types of jobs.
Sure S.O.F had mental health aid but going on mission after mission could start wearing a person down, start weighing on their conscious or reverse, make them absolute numb to the morals of life and death. What the fuck did this eye do to my head? He wasn't regretting that decision but ideologies that didn't belong to him clashed with his mostly empty mind. Sho wasn't the philosopher, in fact he was a monster, which in turn made Chikara question if he was one as well...

There was always nervous jitter in the air, but it always disappeared when they neared the location. Shiryoku flew down and landed 1 kilometres from the designated town, Chikara leapt off the eagle and watched it take off once again, he was to act as their eyes, all he missed now was his sense, touch and strength. A sigh rolled out as he turned to face his comrade. "Remember, we only have to kill the ones that pose a threat, I know I don't have to tell you twice, but you know. Procedures." As of yet the man before him had never flown off the handle, but one could never be too certain when it came to these types of jobs.
Sure S.O.F had mental health aid but going on mission after mission could start wearing a person down, start weighing on their conscious or reverse, make them absolute numb to the morals of life and death. What the fuck did this eye do to my head? He wasn't regretting that decision but ideologies that didn't belong to him clashed with his mostly empty mind. Sho wasn't the philosopher, in fact he was a monster, which in turn made Chikara question if he was one as well...

The zealot looked towards his shadowy fired. Hoping that some of his words got through to him in some way maybe it did ease his consciousness to some degree. That's what Enzaragi wanted for him at least.
The night and clouds made the wind feel incredibly cold it was felt down to his very metallic bones. It was truly chilling that his coldness was enhanced because of his new surgery. The mission was rather simple even if they weren't as comfortable with Enzaragi's new bone structure and Chikara's new eye and being without his posse. But this was also a time for them to try out their new abilities.
The feelings of uncomfortably was interrupted by Chikara telling a joke on the leader's name being "Sin" Enzaragi chuckled it appears as though Chikara was trying to make the situation a bit lighter. "Well not Jashin... Me first then he Jashin will get to deal with him in the afterlife." Enzaragi followed up on the Nara's joke. Before he followed up with another joke. "I don't know you tell maybe a Gyukatsu?"
Enzaragi assumed this was a food based joke which it was but not the one he expected. 'A seasoned veteran' made him laugh before following up on it with his own. "Not gonna lie that was a really good one. Why don't blind guys skydive." 'These kinds of jokes were common on patrols and missions, it made him almost nostalgic to the great war. "It scares the shit out of their dogs." The joke was absurd, but it might have given Chikara a good laugh considering they were soaring in the air right now.
"How do I skip this mandatory procedure talk?" He sighed, but he knew why Chikara made sure that Enzaragi hadn't gone all unhinged maybe if he was his old self, but that was a shadow of him formerly. As they flew closer and landed Shiryoku would probably be relieved at them and especially Enzaragi it was likely his sudden heavier weight bothered the bird.
His bones were cold and heavy it was burdensome, but he only needed to endure a little bit longer. He knew he would get used to his shift in weight and the cold. He had massive pain tolerance due to his earlier life as a more troubled Jashinist and as a samurai. His training and self-torture allowed him to endure more than even the most strong-willed of Shinobi.
As he watched and approached the village with his mercenary partner in crime. The scorpion ran through every scenario and how they could approach this either go in and cut every man down by alerting them or pick them out slowly. "Do we go all in swords slashing or do we take this quietly. I prefer if we do something that goes smoothly for once." It wasn't uncommon for their missions to go awry all of a sudden even if they were careful but maybe their experience could finally make this a lot cleaner than usual.

As the two of the brothers flew toward the village, away in the bar, the bartender brought out a young girl, probably in her late teens to early twenties, and the man named Sin grinned, the wrinkles from his habitual smoking creasing his face, making him look more oni than man. The girl stiffened, keeping her chin up, but he could see the fear in her eyes, in the tears streaks that already showed in the dim light on her cheeks, from the brimming of new ones in the corners of her eyes.
“She’ll do something mighty fine.” Sin kicked down, hard, in a show of force, and the table shivered into many different parts, not including the slivers of wood that buried themselves in the floor. He got up, cracking what was left of his neck now that the musculature had been shown and walked up to the girl. He towered over the bartender and her, and leaned down to whisper in the ear of the girl.
“I sure hope you’re not fragile. The last one didn’t make it.” It was a lie, but he liked them scared, couldn’t get enough of the musk of adrenaline as he pounded away at their poor bodies. He had broken her arm, that was true, he had left bruises that would probably be there for weeks if not months. He had probably also ruined any prospect of a husband she would ever have.
A defiant but terrified huff came from the girl as she bit down, hard, on his ear. It didn’t seem to have much effect on him.
Oh, so a feisty one eh?
He grabbed her roughly by the shoulder and hoisted her up, hearing a wet, dull pop come from her shoulder and as she gasped for air, the pain hitting her suddenly with her eyes wide, he slammed her down on the counter. “Looks like she wants for you all to watch! What a little slut.” Sin roared, and laughed loudly as he tore off her skirt, letting it fall to his left as he hungrily looked over her body, partially exposed with the loss of her skirt. She was wearing petticoats. No matter, pieces of cloth wouldn’t keep him from his prize.
Just as he was reaching for her undergarments to rip them off too, the other boys hooting and hollering for him to go for it, and calling her all sorts of slurs, one of the men piped up, louder than the rest in a baritone as smooth as rain water.
They called him “ears” but to be more exact he didn’t really hear anything, he just sensed things through vibrations in the air. Sometimes he would cup his ears to make out the noises. He said they were different ways of confirming where a target was. No matter, he was damned good at his job. The cupping of his ears, and his superhuman hearing were where he earned his nickname, but right now he was just sitting at the table playing cards without his shoes on. He was apparently losing, as his stack of coins in front of him told, but he was the sensor for tonight.
“Three targets approaching, Sin, the wind tells me.” And the bar fell silent, except the bartender who stumbled back through the door, not wanting to see Sin’s handiwork and the still sobbing girl on the counter.
Dead silence otherwise.
Sin glowered at the girl, a look that sent her sobbing and hiccuping, “If you don’t quiet down I’ll smash your head in right here an’ now.” Sin snarled, baring his teeth in an animalistic way. The girl clamped a hand down on her own mouth, though she was still wracked with silent sobs. The hand came off the girl, as Sin’s eyes narrowed, looking at the windows. Ears wasn’t someone to alert to just anybody, these had to be some people of renown to get his attention.

Chikara crouched next to Enzaragi and formed a set of hand seals, he would cast the doujutsu map in front of him and allow him to see what the eagle had managed to map out for them. Chikara added a new line of hand seals, incorporating another jutsu from the eagles eyes that would help live update the map as it flew around. The topography would first pop up, shaping into the world the eagle saw, they would be able to count how many people where outside and if the eagle was able to pick up any guards, then they would show up on the chakra map. The eagle circled the village whilst keeping itself far from it as an eagle could see farther than any regular human being.
'Ey, look, there seems to be movement going on... I guess stealth isn't going to an option for us ey? Shit...' Chikara and Enzaragi were located around 150 meters from the village outskirt, they'd be relatively hidden by the shadows of the night while Shiryoku would be near impossible to spot unless they used jutsu to enhance their capabilities. The bushes they found themselves surrounded by would act as good cover as well, making it far easier for the duo to hide and abide their time, it wasn't like anyone's life was on the line... Well, none that mattered to them at least. Chikara would count the guards that would be visible to the eagle, he sent a mental note to it via the hive, the map would enlarge and zoom in as it flew closer, together with Enzaragi, he would devise up a plan.
'I say... We either go in knives blazing or... Old school.' Old school was their first tactic, the one they used to save Chie from a pack of bandits, which seemed to always work for some reason. Enza being a better combatant than Chikara would lead this mission while the Hawk would act as a planner on the fly. Having lead multiple strikes before he knew better than to control the environment when there were multiple targets at hand, see, without his other senses he acted much better as support rather than assault. Seeing as Enzaragi had a tendency to draw a lot of heat towards himself, which worked perfect with Chikara's hit and run tactics. Now all they had to do was wait for Enzaragi's opinion on the matter and they would proceed with the mission at hand.

The holographic chakra image that was drawn from Chikara's doujutsu gave them the info they needed to combat this situation. Shiryoku gave them the live update which revealed the enemies location which was increadibly handy.
The enemies repositioned to a more advantageous position indicating that they were alert or aware of their presence somehow. "Looks like it. How did they know? I suggest we quiet down and use the masks." That would allow them to communicatr without drawing attention.
The plan Chikara offered was between two options full frontal assualt or their more tactical approach but Enzaragi saw a potentially different strategy. "I suggest we do a mix of both I draw them out you ambush their senses when they occupied thinking it's just me. Then we going on knives branded and cut em down." Enzaragi pointed to where he wanted to do this confrontation with him in the front and Chikara hidden in the tree lines. "In short draw them out you hit them with some spooky shit and we go in and start slicing. They won't know what hit em"
"Violence and timing Chikara!" Enzaragi said somewhat in a sinisterly cocky tone with a smirk and nod which was hiddenn under his mask but Chikara likely knew what kind of expression the Scorpion had.

Sin, the large man that he was picked up a chair, the first thing that he had in his possession, and hurled it through the window at the window at the man that stood in the darkness. He was smart enough to not rush in toward someone when it was dark out.
"It's an old fashioned brawl boys, let's give 'em what they're looking for." Sin laughed, pulling out a set of gauntlets that were hanging at his sides, sliding one, and then the other on with precision as the ninjutsu users in his group, three of them, started to form hand seals, they would close the windows and other entrances, creating a funnel for their would-be surrounding forces. Sin had done this song and dance too many times for him, or his crew, to be surprised. They were prepared to funnel all of the shinobi through the funnel, and through the gauntlet.
The plan was called the meat-grinder, the walls would funnel them into a pincer formation, where they would be assaulted from both sides, one by fuuton, one by raiton, and then he would mash the rest of the assailants with the gauntlets.
Clapping his hands together loud enough to create a sound like a gun-shot the walls came up, making the meat-grinder. Wood creaked and splintered as six walls, one on each side, with a funnel entrance sprang up, reinforcing the flimsy building. All of which were made of Doton. A ceiling that pushed against the oaken floorboards of the floor above them formed. So if they came up from the ground, that would be the only other way they were getting in.
"Come on ya bastards, you want Sin and his crew, well you got it!"

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form solid stone walls up to 15 meters away from them at [30] speed, coalescing in a ceiling made of Doton and only one funneled entrance. These wall and ceiling have [30] strength and are 1 meter thick. The funneled entrance can be opened or shut with a "Kai" motion. This kai action can take place in the first 4 posts after this jutsu is cast

Chikara sighed visibly, he couldn't believe that his stealth game was so off that he got discovered so easily, he knew that it was time to start working on his new style, but that would have to come whenever he had the chance of building up the stealth facility in their country, which meant after all of this mess. He nodded at Enzaragi and followed his orders, he would form a set of hand seals and then toss a flash/bell-tied kunai to Enzaragi before leaping up the tree canopy. "Remember to count to three before tossing it." Chikara chuckled.
He didn't have to wait for the countdown, because both knew that he could see and calculate it from Shiryoku's perspective, once the kunai would find its way inside the bar the flash would explode, causing his genjutsu to target every single person within except for Enzaragi as he had selected his chakra signature out of the targetted Genjutsu. A chuckle escaped his breath as he prepared to utilize the next genjutsu when Enza called for it. "Change of plans, I am going airborne."

The user starts with a set of hand seals before tossing a kunai tagged with a Flash note and a cat bell. If the targets hear the bell and see the flash explosion then they will be tagged inside the Genjutsu. The target will hear a loud noise that nauseates and see after images of everything within their eyesight. This genjutsu can cause the targets to believe that the flash notes are vastly more powerful than regular ones. Lasts for 5 posts.

Chikara gave him a flash-noted kunai to prepare ahead giving him instructions as well. "Got it! I'll catch em easily trust me." Upon arriving at the door and clearly getting their attention Enzaragi got Chikara's kunai ready to be cast at any moment until they finally came out. It was possibly the most generic bandits he could have imagined but that was perfect he knew exactly what he was getting into. The meat grinder sprung quickly but ironically he could use it against them.
Enzaragi was a frontline fighter walking straight into the meat grinder to act as the distraction before Chikara could perform more debilitating tactics. "Y'know it's a sin you think you can kill me this way!" Enzaragi mocked the trap while he chuckled before consulting with Chikara. " Oi Kara, They made some kind of amateur deathtrap. I'm going straight in!" Enzaragi would rush straight into the meatgrinder before cutting the ceiling of the meat grinder with a singular heated-up chain blade before anticipating that someone was going to attack throwing the kunai the kunai into the newly formed hole and allowing Chikara to activate the genjutsu. "Three two one, let's get to work, Kara! " before rushing in dual-wielding one chain blade and one regular dagger targeting the first and closest person he saw.

As soon as Enzaragi would step inside of the four walled structure, with a ceiling, the 'goon' that Enzaragi tossed his chained weapon at performed the Kai motion that was necessary to shut the entirety of the compound, leaving him with eight people, not including sin, to deal with. The heated blade managed to bisect the ceiling of the compound, but there was hardly any room for anything to go through the two pieces, which still held true and firm. It would have been a different story had they been made of, say, water, or ice, but the stone held firm, supported by the four walls and now a door that held them up. The hole was barely big enough to get a kunai through, so they didn't feel in much danger at all. Sin charged as soon as he saw Enzaragi running toward them, performing a quick couple of seals he brandished a pair of gauntlets made from Doton which would enhance his strikes, ideal for pummeling his foes into a bloody meaty pulp.
The hapless comrade of his was indeed impaled, in the left shoulder, by the chain and pulled close. It didn't take too long for Enzaragi to finish the job, but while he was murdering the man, Sin had closed the distance between the two. Winding up he loosed a deadly onslaught of punches, each one sending shockwaves behind them. He was a deadly combatant close range, and Sin had earned the name 'red mist' by pummeling even a Jounin in his younger years to death.
He had Enzaragi between a rock and a hard place. The victim he was stabbing to death was in front of him, the man who was wreathed in lightning was behind him, and Sin had rushed in from the periphery to his right, and had started hammering on him. The wall to his left might be able to be broken through, but then they could seal up, and continue to hunker down, waiting for the next blow to fall. All said and done, this Enzaragi fellow had better be close to indestructible, or he was about to get the beating of his life.
Now it didn't take him long to mash someone up like this, and if he didn't, the others would back him up. Already there were two comrades that were aiming crossbows at Enzaragi, and one was making more seals, tossing up a lightning shield on himself and running toward Sin to back him up.
The third goon that had control over the wind and had marked them as incoming had been keeping track of the both of them. Since Enzaragi had entered the meat grinder and was engaged by Sin, that meant that the target he was going to have to beat was this other fellow, "Kara" by what the fool that ran into the meat grinder had said. He wove some quick seals and sent off a half dozen seeking fuuton balls. He would have to gun this one down from afar before he had a chance to help his friend. They all could pour every ounce of their being into doing one thing, and one thing only, killing these intruders. Numbers didn't count for much, most of the time, but the helped a lot with focused fire. Four on the man in the meat grinder and two on Kara. The Doton user was already starting the seals to re-apply the doton to seal Enzaragi off from Chikara, and placed one hand on a wall to start that sealing process.

They have a strength of 45. These last for up to 3 rounds or until they are destroyed or dispelled by the user.

The user will charge in at their quarry at 40 speed and start pummeling them with blows at [40+5(from fists of pummeling)] strength. They will continue this, not even stopping to breathe until their opponent counters, they create a fine red mist, or they run out of air. They can continue this onslaught at [40] speed for 3 posts. These blows are thrown at such high speeds that the opponent cannot read them to properly react unless they have a perception technique of equal or higher rank.

They trade this for only being able to move at 10 speed while pummeling, and each hit they make creates a secondary shockwave of 1/4th strength that ripples throughout the body, disorienting their opponents if they do not outright kill them. Opponents with weak enough endurance will fall prey to a paralysis type effect as their internal organs start to shut down and their brains rattle around in their skulls, while opponents with equal strength to the practitioner may still feel the reverberations even minutes after being hit by a blow such as this. This also effectively increases the range of strikes from melee to 15 meters.
Fuuton: Birds of Prey

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form up to 6 birds out of Fuuton chakra that will fly at their target, homing in on them at a speed of [40] and will continue to pursue them until destroyed, or until their time has run out. They will fly erratically if the target is outside of the range of [90] meters, and will actively pursue the user should they step into this range, exploding with [40] strength in a 20 meter radius, slicing everything caught within with [40] strength.

Cikara couldn't believe his luck, first, the flashbang went off which should've knocked their senses loose, then would have caused the smoke to go off as well, which should terrify these ninjas into believing that the smog was poisonous. This should buy Enzaragi enough time to shorten their lifespans dramatically. Chikara chilled, hanging upside down from the eagle as he heard the commotion from within the bar that Enzaragi found himself in.
The irony of this situation was that both Chikara and Enzaragi were too overpowered for this situation, it would be a rather short venture considering that Chikara was just technically chilling, well that was until he heard even more commotion, which got him somewhat wondering what the hell was going on, how would they even manage to survive such a situation unless these men were capable of moving at such a speed that even the legendary leader himself couldn't keep up with.
That got the mercenary thinking, and when he began to think, things got crazy, so he started forming a set of hand seals, and lept off the eagle right as he saw two fuuton, he was sure that Enzaragi would stop the rest but if not it wouldn't matter, for his partner was now there. BOOM! CRASH! The explosion would occur right as Chikara landed on the roof, he would use the jutsu against the caster as he would dance to the sides and let them crash into the building and explode.
Had he not unlocked his doujutsu then he was certain that this would probably be his end, but due to his majestic skills, he had managed to call forth a special jutsu, one hidden among the best doujutsu users of this world, the susano'o. A left arm and shield covered most of his body as he crashed down into the bar, his hands were quick to form a set of hand seals and then toss his slither around the room, right as 3 tentacles would shoot out of it and rush towards the leader of the room and the two ninjutsu users, they'd rush at them at 50 speed and hold them down at 50 strength, which Chikara figured would be good enough for Enzaragi to take hold off and finish them off unless he was severely wounded by the onslaught.
"I don't take it that you took your early dirt nap did you Enza?" One could never be too sure, for even the immortal could find themselves lacking, Chikara kept his back towards where Enzaragi was for now, his entire body would be shielded from the Susano'o as the dust would start to settle.

Prerequisite: [Slither]
This jutsu will manifest three tentacles within the shadow of Slither. The three tentacles slither out of the blades shadow once it's near the target, reaching up to 60 meters at [Control] speed.
