Enter! Jiyu no Shuuken!

One Week Ago, Heart Empire It was a good thing that war with Kiri was over and went so well, because Fuhen really needed a break. Unfortunately for Fuhen, the world did not let him take breaks often. His 'break' started off with a good night's sleep, before he woke up... and almost immediately had to attend court again, a rather large backlog having built up during the short war.

At some point during the day, a man approached him, spinning a rather large tale about how his country leaders had been horribly manipulated by evil fools and they needed help to regain their independence and freedom. Fuhen's advisors said Heart couldn't get involved in something like this so soon after the war with Kirigakure no Sato... But Fuhen was on vacation! His council all looked at him, nodded, and said yes, they had no idea where he was going on his vacation. He nodded back.

Present Day, Jiyuu no Shuuken What a vacation! The sights, the sounds, the information gathering from disgruntled locals who wouldn't be satisfied about their peaceful lifestyles being forced into wars... It was a good thing they were such close neighbors to the Heart Empire! Of course, Fuhen wouldn't want to take their land by force, but they deserved their freedom, and while most wouldn't have the full breadth of what was going on in their beloved country, the pieces would slowly fall into place as Fuhen worked his way to the capital. Wearing the emperors crown helped him suss out hidden information from those that may have been more directly involved as well.

Promising soldier is always on. He uses all of his Renjutsu passively as he talks to people.

Hard Work Style 💢 Promising Soldier
S-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Despite being full of limitless potential and filled with vigor, Fuhen appears as nothing more than your average man in all aspects. This 'technique' implies that nothing about Fuhen's body language portrays that he is a trained/experienced killer, and everything from the way he walks to how his chakra appears to casual observers reinforces the idea that he is, if anything, clumsy and likely incapable of fighting. This is most useful in passing himself off as nothing special, putting most into a false sense of security, though with minimal effort Fuhen can break out of this technique to reveal his true self.

Blessed as the Shogun and being the avatar of Takiyasha-hime herself, Fuhen's natural charisma overflows to those around him, allowing him to stir a crowd or a war party with his raw Willpower and Grit in a matter of moments. Any Renjutsu uses the average of his Grit and Willpower for any necessary stat battles and follows the taijutsu pyramids. The majority of these techniques are not used for combat, but rather to rally people to a cause. Undoing these techniques on a large scale requires different social techniques based on the type of Renjutsu used, but generally, people can be won back with similar Willpower-based techniques, and unless otherwise specified, these last until disrupted.

Convincing Demeanor
B-Rank Renjutsu Discipline
A foundational technique for the rest of Fuhen's Reichou Renjutsu, this discipline means that while addressing a crowd, even if they are against him or his goal, in the beginning, he can read the room and approach them in a way to draw them to his side. This can be done in many ways, such as by picking out individual members to bring over, creating a domino effect, or making appeals to logic or emotion.

Unrest
B-Rank Renjutsu Maneuver
After successfully winning a crowd over, Fuhen causes general unrest amongst the populace. This causes the people affected to be consistently less satisfied with whatever Fuhen has brought to their attention, whether it be the color of the sky or their current leadership. This makes winning a crowd back to an opposing side much more difficult and can have long-term effects even leading to rebellion.

Placate
B-Rank Renjutsu Maneuver
Much the opposite of Unrest, this technique allows Fuhen to satisfy a crowd with his words. This causes the people affected to be generally happier in demeanor towards him, or whatever he has drawn their attention to. Sometimes this is done with promises, empty or not, but is often done through simple appeals to logic or emotion.

I Set My Sail
B-Rank Renjutsu Maneuver
For when playing a long game, after appealing directly to the crowd, Fuhen can make a call to action. This call to action can be anything from "farm the fields" to "get rid of the emperor." While not everyone in the crowd can be swayed to such calls to action, the purpose of this is to put the idea in people's minds that this is what needs to be done. Over time, this will lead to small groups forming splinter cells with the call to action in mind, and if left untended will lead to long-term effects such as rebellion.
"It's so sad!" the reader said to the writer with a frown. "The character in my book just died!" The author turned to her and burst out into tears, "I know!" he said, "So did mine!"
