[S.O.F] Invaders must die

This is our lands!
Battlefields are not the place for the soft hearted, war was always a tough cookie to swallow but sometimes they need to be swallowed before they can fester and create mold, that in turn grows and starts infecting the structure they had beautifully crafted. Scum of the earth, no, that wasn't right, Chikara and crew used to be the same, but at least they engaged with a plan.
They knew that runes were forever a mortal enemy, a country that was a thorn on their side, but what they didn't expect was that they would return one day and start trouble against the country that once tried to invade them. I knew we should've dealt with them a long time ago. Chikara, now rested up spoke within the hive mind, he knew that Enzaragi couldn't hear what he said but due to the fact that they had worked closely for the past years he knew that he didn't have to tell him everything.
The zealot was a good man, he did his prayers and fought the ones he felt was right, which made Chikara glad as he never had to question his loyalty and due to the rules set up by the organization, he never truly had to choose the same missions Chikara had, it just happened that he was always by his side.
So today was no different, the air they soared through was brisk but would soon be filled with the scent of blood as they neared the battlefield. Yasu and Wakana had already set out with Ayuma and had reached the battlefield while Chikara and Enzaragi prepared to gather up the rest of the available men to deal with this rebellion.
If they sent their entire army then they could deal with the majority of them within hours but that would leave the rest of the country vulnerable. Chie sighed as she sat upon Shiryoku who was now pulling heavy duty of having to carry three people, his absolute maximum, she felt rather depressed that she had to go from battlefield to battlefield.
She had recently found joy in gardening and assisting with governmental issues such as creating welfare programs and healthcare, but whenever Chikara needed her in combat she would always appear, as much as it was to her chagrin. Nevertheless, she found herself on top of the eagle and relayed information which Wakana had sent back to her.
Ayuma's eyes caught the majority of the battlefield as it hid atop one of the nearby trees, the onslaught a head of her was massive and at the center of it she could find Yasu fighting like the madwoman she was, she was surrounded by both allies and enemies. This was her true home, she only truly felt alive when she inspired others to fight for what she believed was the greater good and today was one of those days.
The previous day's training had done her well as she was tearing through the enemy defense as if she was a hot knife through butter, meanwhile Wakana was acting as her assistant, pushing people away and or down towards the ground if needed. Lately she had gotten used to the idea of killing people, as long as they weren't innocent, Yasu on the other hand cut through enemies with little thought.
Chikara shivered and straightened his back, "Let's make sure those Rune fuckers learn today, S.O.F belongs to Setsuzoku and the people." The mask sent the information through every single mercenary on the battlefield, who all shouted in unison, the words of one the heads boosted their morale, which got him thinking about such a jutsu for the future.
His Shōgō-zumi activated as the eagle swooped down from the clouds and revealed to Enzaragi the massive battlefield taking place over the once grassy path of meadow. The mud filled ground was being trampled, messed with and filled with blood and gore. A sight they had been used to by now, but the scent never seemed to become a custom, at least not for the sane.
"You better get here now, because there won't be any more enemies in a bit!" Yasu chuckled under her mask before she used the broadside to deflect two incoming sword strikes, she grit her teeth then pushed them back, right as she twisted the blade and was about to strike them, a gravity push would force the enemies in front of her on their knees, allowing her to mow them down as if they were grass to a scythe.
"We are here, no worries, eyes in the skies have been completed, arial reinforcement has been completed." Chie watched as Wakana pushed to jump off the ground while Shiryoku dove down to clash her.
Chikara and hopefully Enzaragi would leap off the eagle and swan dive towards their enemies, the mercenary reached for his swords and cut the of his enemies as he rolled on the mud, his shadowblade was quick to make an appearance, as he brandished the blade, he would toss one of the rings to Enzaragi. "Open your hand when you want to call it forth and it shall appear!" With that he turned around and cut down two of the enemies behind him.
"Reiforcement is on their way!" Wakana warned as she began to channel chakra and cast a hive mind tech that allowed the shared vision to expand, allowing Yasu to see even more eyes connected to her mind.
Chikara's body almost moved on its own when it covered the incoming strikes, mimicking and copying various techniques he had picked up during last days training and current combat situation. He watched a samurai try to sweep kick him, which he promptly flipped over and then returned it to sender, causing him to flip over and allowing him to cut him open.
The blood that sprayed on to him painted his dirtied white robe red, a color he was getting far too familiar with. The dance of death continued as Chikara was having a hard time flipping now that the mud was so thick, checking upon Enzaragi and copying whatever small jutsu he could from the master of close quarter combat. Had he mastered the eye then he was sure that the jutsu would stick but whatever he could pick up would be of great help.
Wakana forced another set of soldiers to fly backwards as her Shinra Tensei destroyed them, Chie watched her smile and wanted to roll her eyes, but seeing as she had witnessed her go from being unsure to actually assist in the battlefield got her thinking about her part in this conflict. Instead of letting things affect her, she began forming a set of hand seals and shared a vocal connection between Brawl, Yasu and Enzaragi. Allowing the four of them to send messages to each other, considering that Chikara was busy dealing with all of their conversations, thoughts and visions, she figured that the "leader" of the pack could probably handle it better than the man she had always relied on.
In fact, Yasu, Brawl and Enzaragi seemed to the enforced trio that worked best together, so a head conversation for them that worked faster than their mask was something not even the enemies could prepare for. She could tell that these men were sent to probe as there seemed to be some sort of lack when it came to their army, that or they were cannon fodder.
Yasu seemed to answer her question before she could ask, "This is not their main army, their archers are not up to scratch!" Yasu blocked an incoming arrow as her thoughts travelled back to the day, they invaded land of Runes and how their archers almost blotted the sun, compared to that day this was a cake walk. Now, it could be that they had grown far stronger but if she truly had to guess then this party was sent to gauge their strength.
Brawl, Enza, grab a few fighters and create a pincer manuever, Chikara and I will deal with the front. Yasu sent the coded mental note to Brawl and Enzaragi, which Chikara had managed to pick up via the hive.
"Wait what?" There was no time for Chikara to be confused, his eye captured everything and stole techniques left and right, forcing his body to respond to the incoming strikes with ease, with the pauldron activated he picked up speed from his partner in crime Enzaragi, so there was no fear of being overwhelmed by the enemies as they stood no chance to the god of speed.
Chikara was envious but he knew that there was no true reason to feel that way as he needed to master his way of survival, for he was important, he filled the part his partner missed and vice versa. Strength, speed and being unstoppable was Enzaragi's forte while Chikara was more of a trickster who messed with people's minds. No matter the cost, he would not stop until they were on top, and this short skirmish was not going to be Setsuzokus end, no, this was only the beginning.
