After months of rigorous training and undergoing a thorough vetting process to ensure his unwavering loyalty, Mimic stood at the precipice of a significant turning point in his life. He was about to embark on a mission of paramount importance for the Sovereignty of Freedom, an organization dedicated to preserving liberty and justice. The journey leading up to this moment had been arduous, filled with countless hours of physical conditioning, tactical simulations, and psychological evaluations. The Sovereignty had left no stone unturned in preparing Mimic for the task ahead. His loyalty and dedication to the cause had been tested repeatedly, and he had emerged as a beacon of trustworthiness and competence.

Today, as the final preparations for his mission took place, Mimic's heart pounded with a mixture of anticipation and determination. He knew the risks involved in this endeavor were substantial, but he had willingly accepted the responsibility. The briefing he had received on his mission had been exhaustive, providing him with a broad understanding of the overall objectives, but the details remained shrouded in secrecy. The Sovereignty had only revealed what was essential, ensuring that Mimic had the requisite knowledge to carry out his mission effectively while protecting sensitive information.

Now, standing on the border of the Sovereignty's territory, just a kilometer away from the edge, Mimic felt the weight of his task. Rune Country, the target of his infiltration, lay ahead, its mysteries waiting to be unraveled. The landscape around him was a mixture of shadows and moonlight, a metaphor for the clandestine nature of his mission. He checked his equipment one final time, making sure every piece was in place and functioning perfectly. His attire was specially designed not for stealth, but for blending in. He was dressed as a commoner, the only weapons he carried were those hidden within his forearms as they always were.

As Mimic took a deep breath, he felt the resolve coursing through his veins. He knew that his actions would be instrumental in advancing the Sovereignty's cause, but they also came with great responsibility. He was about to venture into the unknown, into the heart of Rune Country, where secrets and dangers lurked in every corner. With his senses sharp, his mind focused, and his commitment unwavering, Mimic took his first steps into the darkness, ready to carry out his mission for the Sovereignty of Freedom. The journey ahead was fraught with challenges, but he was prepared to face them head-on, driven by the belief that his actions would ultimately contribute to a world where freedom and justice prevailed.

The mimic had been prepared for the upcoming task for the longest time and if life wasn't a cruel mistress then Chikara himself would have followed him to the edge of the country, but, seeing as Iwagakure had called Setsuzoku and required their assistance in the upcoming war, the mercenary leader was forced to send the Mimic on this mission on his own.

Chikara had been certain that the techniques they had been trianing would be sufficient and if not then Mimic was smart enough to train them on the spot, his mission had been clear, infiltrate Rune, find a way tosignal S.O.F without being spotted, prepare for the invasion and if possible, assassinate their Daimyo but do it descreetly as they didn't want any of this to bite them in the end.

Shiryoku flew past Mimic was slowly trekking down the long path that would shift from bright and hopeful to dark and loomy, he had officially crossed the border, not log further ahead the road would splitt into three, a leftward path that appeared to lead him into a small village, the direct path that would lead him to the capital of Rune, this road was most likely fortified while the right road lead towards the seaside.

Each one would take him on a different adventure but the end of journey was all the same.

The Mimic stood at the crossroads, his gaze fixed on the three diverging paths, each shrouded in an air of uncertainty and potential danger. He knew that the choice he made now would set the course for the complex journey ahead. With a calculating mind, he meticulously weighed the advantages and drawbacks of each option. After a few moments of contemplation, he found himself leaning towards the leftmost path. It seemed to offer the most concealed approach to the small village, making it ideal for his current mission. With a deep breath, he steadied himself, aware that his transformation was the next crucial step in this elaborate game of espionage.

Suppressing the maddening itch that threatened to consume him as his skin underwent its transformation, the Mimic observed as his tawny complexion darkened and intensified, veering into the realm of melanistic tones. The transition continued as his once shoulder-length, straight brunette hair gave way to a shorter, almost stubble-like cut, now a sleek and deep black. His eyes, once a vibrant shade of green, subtly shifted to a more subdued, yet equally striking, shade of blue. Now fully assimilated into his new identity, The Mimic made his move, following the chosen path that led towards the small village. His resolve was unwavering as he clung to the first rule of his craft: "First gather information. Information is king." His mission was clear - he needed to learn the state of the people, the manner in which they were treated, the tactics employed by the guards, and the social dynamics at play.

As he advanced, he devised a meticulous plan, aiming to integrate himself within the ranks of the guards while maintaining a low profile. His ultimate destination was the capital, where the true heart of the information he sought resided. It was a high-stakes game, and The Mimic was more than ready to play his part with grace, guile, and unwavering determination.

The Mimic chose the path that would lead him to the nearby village, on his way he would come across a broken down carriage, the left wheel had been broken and one of the horses seemed to be missing. An old man would be doing his best to repair it while inside he could spot a wealthy woman and her spoiled brat. "Man, If I don't fix this then I am sure that they are going to deduct my pay... Damn it."

If the Mimic had any empathy then he would be able to feel it in his heart how hard this old man was trying to keep his boss happy, fortunately for the old man, the horse hadn't ran far enough, but his hips wouldn't allow him to move fast enough for him to catch up to the horse anytime soon and the longer he waited the worse the wealthy lady would get.

"Young man... Could you help me please?" Mimic was left with a dilema, either help the old man and the wealthy family or continue his way into town and start working on his mission.

The Mimic's smile was a gentle embrace, a silent assurance to the elderly man of his genuine willingness to assist. With a respectful bow, he conveyed not just a gesture of politeness but also a deep-seated reverence for the wisdom and experience held by the senior. "Absolutely, sir," he said, his words wrapped in humility. "Although my abilities have their bounds, I'm more than willing to offer whatever aid I can." His voice was a melodic cadence, soothing and comforting, echoing sincerity and warmth. The kindness in his tone resonated with a soothing quality, conveying a sense of reassurance and empathy. His smile, a constant presence, was not merely a facial expression but a reflection of his inner disposition—genuine and unwavering.

The Mimic's demeanor exuded a tranquility that eased the atmosphere, evoking a sense of trust and companionship. His willingness to assist, despite acknowledging his limitations, carried an air of selflessness and dedication. His commitment to helping, even within the scope of his abilities, was unwavering. In this exchange, he didn't just offer aid; he extended a hand of empathy and understanding. His every word and gesture formed a tapestry of genuine concern, portraying a willingness to support and uplift, resonating with the elderly man on a deeper, more personal level.

The Mimic gracefully approached the elderly man, his steps deliberate yet unobtrusive. His eyes, veiled behind an air of polite curiosity, glanced towards the carriage and its occupants as he engaged in conversation. "This one is known as Hokuto," he began, his voice carrying a gentle tone that held both respect and curiosity. "May I know, Senior, the name by which you are recognized?" Even as he exchanged pleasantries, his observant nature remained vigilant. His inspection of the carriage and its occupants was a subtle yet integral part of his demeanor—a habit ingrained through meticulous training. His gaze swept across the scene, noting details with a keen eye, not out of suspicion but a commitment to vigilance, ensuring safety and security in every encounter.

The careful inspection, a reflexive action, didn't detract from his courteous interaction. It was a testament to his comprehensive approach, one that balanced social grace with a perpetual awareness of his surroundings. His inquisitive glance was not a sign of distrust but rather a habit formed from a lifetime of training, fostering an acute awareness of every situation he found himself in. The exchange carried an air of cultural grace and respect, emphasizing not just politeness but also an earnest desire to connect on a deeper level. The Mimic's inquiry about the elderly man's name wasn’t merely a formality; it was a bridge, a step toward mutual understanding and familiarity in the dialogue.

The blend of his genteel approach to conversation with his discreet vigilance highlighted his ability to multitask, to engage amiably while remaining astutely attentive. This duality of his demeanor was a testament to his adeptness at balancing social niceties with the responsibility of ensuring security—a skill honed through both training and innate sensibility.

Maho, the carriage driver was pleasantly surprised by the young man willing to help him, he had been stuck out here for a while and his back was starting to give in but he didn't want his passengers to find out as they were the judgemental type, although he made sure to keep that part to himself, instead, he turned around and connected with Hakuto, the young man had a pleasant face and aura, which soothed the old man, who ran his hand down his goatee.

"My name is Ginzo, Maho. It's a pleasure to meet you." The old man greeted as moved to the back of the carriage and asked Hakuto for assistance to remove the spare tire. "Little help here chap." Once they got it loose they would roll it up to its broken back axel. "You know, it's not that often that you run into a kind soul around here in Rune country... Though they say the Moon coalition is... Bah... Listen, do you mind getting that jack power, unless you possess the strength to lift it yourself? I only need a couple of seconds to bolt it in."

The old man chuckled, depending on what Hakuto chose, he would comment on it, whether he was a strong man or a smart man, though the rest of the conversation would flow the same. "You know need a lift into town? (Novistador) If so, would you mind fetching that horse for me? If you move gently then the horse won't be spoked." Maho chuckled.

Once the horse had been brought back and buckled in, he would pat the seat next to him. "Come young lad, I'll give you a ride into town."

The sun was high in the sky, the grassland stretched for miles and even though it all appeared monotonous, it was still a beautiful vista. They would ride for a while before Maho would continue to speak. "What brings you out here you out here young chap?" It was something about the boy that made him wonder if he was from Rune or if he was a traveler, for lately, Maho had met people from various parts of the world, but that was due to the Moon Coalition drawing people from all walks of life, Rune wasn't really open to travelers but they still got to meet a hand full. The passengers seemed to keep to themselves and currently, it wasn't the best time to talk to them, but if Hakuto had any inquiries then this would probably be the best time, destiny was in his hands.

Engaging in polite conversation, the Mimic displayed a social finesse that suggested both courtesy and an appreciation for the elderly man's company. His words were carefully measured, enough to convey friendliness but not so much as to overshadow the task at hand. Amidst the banter, he seamlessly assisted with the repairs, utilizing the power jack skillfully to maintain an unassuming presence.

While appearing to focus solely on the repairs, the Mimic's keen observational skills were in full swing. His perceptive gaze didn't limit itself to the intricacies of the carriage alone; it extended to the surrounding landscape, mapping the terrain with a practiced eye. The careful scrutiny was not born out of suspicion but rather a habitual inclination to be aware, an instinct nurtured through rigorous training. The horse, a silent companion in the scene, became a testament to the Mimic's adaptability. The assumption that it would be challenging to handle proved unfounded, as the Mimic seamlessly navigated the task at hand. The horse, evidently well-trained, responded to his gentle commands with ease, revealing a harmony born out of mutual understanding.

Amid the clinks and clanks of the repair work, the Mimic shared a snippet of his own narrative. "I am a wanderer, going wherever my feet take me," he revealed, his words carrying a touch of wanderlust. "When you are bereft of things to tie you down, seeing the world becomes a lot more plausible." This admission hinted at a life unburdened by attachments, one that embraced the freedom to explore and experience the world without the weight of stationary obligations. In this seemingly ordinary exchange, the Mimic's multifaceted abilities came to the fore — a blend of social tact, mechanical proficiency, and astute observation. Each aspect of his interaction contributed to the tapestry of a character whose journey went beyond the visible repairs, resonating with a sense of adventure and a readiness to embrace the unknown.
