Swooosh, disorientated vision, bing, bang, boom and a shrick, followed by a loud blood curling scream, Yuuto had been sent flying by an ancient dinosaur and was now pinned by a branch jutting out of his left shoulder, his shield was up in the tree canopy while his swords were on the ground, drenched in his own blood. Amendment was drinking most of it, but what was worst was the sounds he heard in the distance, it sounded like there was company on the way, what company? He couldn't tell but if there was one dinosaur then he was certain that there would be others.

Come on, you got this, you need to escape before whatever is making that noise finds you! Teary eyed, the boy tried to pry himself off the branch but the pain was too great, and even though he had trained his endurance to allow him shake off most damage, this one was something else. His heart was palpitating and his brain was growing foggier by the minute, he was close to passing out, he felt it in his bones that if he didn't get any help soon then he would be someones meal.

Yuuto thought of another plan, perhaps Red could assist him, so he reached for his pouch with his right hand and put on the hat, kicking the wizard to life. "How are you doing my booh my god! Are you okay Yuuto!? How did you end up like this!?" Yuuto ignored him as he was still figthing the pain, speaking hurt due to the branch piercing part of his lunge, so speaking was painful as well. "Not... Now Red, please help!" Yuuto fainted right as he finished speaking, this was bad, Red would need a minute to fully wake up and the noises were getting louder, plus Red had no idea what exactly it was he was going to face, without preparation he wouldn't be able to cast the correct jutsu, so for now he planned on casting a defensive jutsu on Yuuto to buy him some time.

Lightning quickly enveloped Yuuto's body, cutting right through the branch and causing them both to fall to the ground. "Wake up young boy! WAKE UP!! Is there anyone out there? Help us please!" Red had no idea that Yuuto could regenerate, although that was basically moot as he wouldn't be able to close the wound unless they removed the branch that was skewered him.

Was currently practicing her swordsmanship on a raptor after having killed a few others with her poison. Considering she didn’t need food it saved her a lot of time to train and recover. As well as searching for shelter, as she continued slashing at it trying to get better at dodging and counter attacking she practiced until eventually she heard the raptor call for help. This caused her to grown in annoyance so she would just quickly use a chiton jutsu to finish it off. Afterwards she would quickly leave the area before she had to deal with more of those raptors. It was definitely tricky to fight them without ninjutsu at the moment making it more apparent she needed Taijutsu also so she could save some chakra sometimes. As she was running away from her previous location while looking for a place to sleep and rest she would hear a strange voice she never heard before.

She wondered if they were from around here? She considered it could be a trap so would carefully and sneakily approach the area the voice getting clearer as she got closer. She would then hide in a nearby tree looking to see what was speaking was a strange talking hat. It was next to what seemed like a badly injured Yuuto. She would begin to covertly use hand signs to avoid being spotted in case it was a trap to get a jutsu ready, while she looked carefully around the area. Trying to see if she could see any other threats such as incoming dinosaurs or nearby residents trying to lay a trap

A black shadow flashed between the branches of adjacent trees, having found that most of these strange dinosaur creatures preferred to live on the ground level, at least the shorter ones couldn't reach him up here. Hisato couldn't help but remember the massive carnivore that broke through the tree line and attempted to ambush the dagger group at the rally point, it had to be at least thirty meters tall, maybe more, without the help of Hitachi and the others actual swordsman the daggers would have been nothing more than a snack for it. Even the black tailed Tsukino felt he wouldn't have been able to continue to evade such a beast for long, it was a sobering point on this journey when the dagger had seen how much his skills and personal strength had been lacking.

Of course, this had already caused the man to begin formulating many things for when he managed to finish training in this place, but one couldn't let their mind wonder in a place like this were every creature in this forest wanted to eat a soft bodied human like them for snake. Some even actively stalking and hunting them, what a truly troublesome place. Taking a break the man rested with his back against a tree, closing his eyes briefly and allowing for his enhanced hearing to take over and spread out further and further. It was around this point that his fuzzy ears twisted to the sides and to the front, it was the sound that didn't belong in the forest, the sound of another human. 'This one sound familiar, another of the daggers?' Just troublesome...he should, as a teammate, go try to help but also, he understood the law of the jungle, the strong survive and the weak die.

Exhaling slowly his head shook back and forth and he reached back with his left hand, silently the glass like blade slid out of its sheath over the left shoulder coming into a half sword stance with the blade diagonal across his chest. 'Guess I can check it out...' Only half-heartedly, the black-haired swordsman opened his eyes shifted them to the left, the direction from which he'd picked up the sound of voices before he stepped off the branch fading into the darkness. A few minutes later he arrived nearby, slipping a peak from around the edge of a gigantic tree he was up in down to see the injured boy. 'So it was this one, perhaps I could just eliminate future competition...'

Yuuto woke up in pain, and quickly realized where he was and what had happened, he saw his shield dangling above him, ready to drop if the tree was kicked hard enough but that was neither here nor there at this moment, for he had to focus on getting the branch out or else he might risk passing out again. "Do you have any jutsu to push out the branch?"

"Not that I have at the moment! I could perhaps burn it but I am afraid I could burn you." Yuuto coughed blood as he began to push himself back into the branch in hopes of causing it to loosen up a bit.

"Whatever it takes..." This was bad.

Yuuto struggled for a bit and tried his best to push out the branch but failed as he lacked the strength and leverage to do anything about it, the lightning-sparkling boy continued to groan in pain as Red continued to yap in duress. "We need to get that branch out for you and get you back on your feet lad!" As if Yuuto didn't know, but for the moment there wasn't much he could do, he tried to channel a jutsu but the pain stopped him from being fully able to focus on the jutsu, he had to get the branch out first.

"Hey, Hisato... " Yuuto stopped for a second, this was bad, he was injured in front of the competition, he had hoped that Mondai would be the one to find him but to be this weakened in front of what could potentially be an enemy was bad, so he briefly wondered if he should warn him about the incoming raptor but his body reacted on its own. "Watch out for the raptors!" Yuuto pointed towards him, the second he looked back he would spot two raptors leap toward him at 40 and 35 speed.

Four other raptors would surround Hisato while two would leap out their branches and slowly inch toward Yuuto. This is bad... Red was already alert and began channeling chakra, he prepared to attack one of them but knew that Yuuto would need protection against the other. For now, he had the lightning armor, so he would survive, but for how long.

As she continued to watch secretly from the trees she would notice Hisato arrive and even worse some raptors that were far faster than the ones she fought. They were almost triple her speed this was really bad she was really tempted to leave Yuuto to his fate but she also really hated having unpaid debts. In the end she figured she would try to help, groaning at how trouble some this has become. She would then get as close as she could to Yuuto in the trees then activate one of the two new jutsu she had just finished after the daggers fight. After she finished the hand signs an aura of death had spread out from her location at control strength 20 control speed 10 it spread out 40 meters. Everything living within the aura would start to decay. She hoped that Yuuto regeneration would help him avoid dying from this and would decay the branch in time to save his life.

She figured dinosaurs were like normal creatures completely based on instinct so there for would avoid entering the aura and would run away from it. After all she never saw even a starving animal enter a field of fire for food before.

She would then immediately start hand signs for her next jutsu just in case. As she jumped down to help Yuuto, before the branch she was standing on would collapse, after the next set of hand signs finished she would try to take out the branch from Yuuto but with her limited 5 strength at this point it may be better to let the aura destroy it first. Unless that is Yuuto is able to pull out the branch with her help

The user can either direct the poison into bodily fluids such as sweat and saliva because of that this jutsu is best used in close quarters. It makes a random body part swell up painfully feeling like it’s about to pop and becomes more sensitive to pain. The effects increase depending on control. Starts at a 50% increase in pain at 1-12 control lasts
At 14-25 control increases to double the pain and body parts now begin to swell to a additional half its original size limiting range of movements
27-38 control increases pain to triple the amount normal body parts now swell rapidly and can reach double there size and heavily restricts movement of the body and movement feels like your pulling a muscle even breathing can feel like your being stabbed at this point.
39-50 control increases pain quadruple and causes body parts to one by one rapidly swell until the skin and muscles literally explode leaving only the skeleton. It starts with the arms after 2 posts first one arm goes then 1 post after that the left arm goes then next post the legs then 1 post later the torso resulting in death. can only been treated with lijutsu that has equal or higher control and can be stalled but not cured with 1-9 less control

Forming two hand seals, the user passes an internalized poison into their outer skin particles. This creates an aura of 1m up to 60m made of disease centered on the user that affects all things in range. This disease can also be transferred from the sweat and skin particles to a weapon such as a kunai or shuriken. Upon skin contact, with the aura the target will be effected through the pores of the skin and entering the bloodstream. Experience skin necrosis and experience pain equal to control as well as have the skin slowly fall off over the course of the jutsu at control speed unless treated. Making them more susceptible to other environmental factors.

For a moment, the young shinobi thought about leaving the other swordsman to his downfall, he hadn't been someone that he'd put into his eyes really, at least not yet but as he stood there he could hear a number of different sounds in the forest through his large black fur covered fox ears. They twisted to the right as he could hear a number, three or four, different targets approaching their location, no doubt due to the boy and whatever that Red was making so much noise. LIke two little babies inside the jungle, they probably wouldn't last acting like this. But in doing so he had exposed himself to the injured dagger, 'Well, fuck. Who would have thought that I'd be the good Samaritan?'

Even Hisato couldn't believe that he was about to jump in to help this kid, four raptors busting through the forest caused the man to move but as he did something felt off and his ears picked up a fifth sound, but this one was human, maybe? As he leapt down the man spun around as one of his long tails smacked one of the leaping raptors back into the other that had focused on him and as his feet hit the ground his sword was already in the left hand having left the sheathing in a single fluid draw that had no sound. His muscles bulged lightly as he shifted into his Zantou stance, increasing his perception and strength as he bolted straight at the injured comrade in that moment, partly because of the raptors but secondly because of this feeling of death that encroached on his neck. 'What is that?' The aura of decay that was being created by Nozomi.

It was like a plague as he could see out of the corner of his eye as he looked behind him that the plant life was withering and wilting, slowly turning dark in color as whatever she had created was killing the living. 'How dangerous!' Before this mission the fellow dagger really hadn't known any of the other daggers nor what their fighting strengths and weaknesses were. But his eyes had been opened a bit for this other Kiri-nin as he was giving the opportunity by this technique to sheath his sword and scoop up the injured Yuuto, with his free hand he didn't even give the comrade any warning as he reached down and ripped out the branch he had been yelling about. "Can't stay here."

That was the only words he spoke as he used his other hand to stabilize the other swordsman's position as they leaped upwards to a tree branch about ten meters into the air, then pushing his legs harder he leaped forward to another and then higher to one nearly twenty meters from the deck now. It also placed him outside the edge of the strange plague of death released by their fellow dagger. "Trouble must follow you..." Finally, he looked down with rather dull grey eyes as he allowed his comrade to take a seat on the thick branch they were currently standing upon, his ears listening for the return of that pack of raptors from earlier.

Yuuto wasn't sure what was going on but he could tell that the world around him was slowly starting to rot, he would feel how his skin would begin to melt but fortunately, Red's lightning armor would protect him, the branch slowly withered but not before a mysterious figure appeared and pushed the branch out of him. "Thank you." The armor had shut down right as Hisato grabbed the branch, once he was placed outside of Nozomi's field he would look over at Hisato and slide himself up against the branch.

"The price of saving an ally. Some of us have the fortune of regenerating." Yuuto let a heavy breath out as he peered over at the raptors. "Perhaps it would be better... If you attend to that?" Four raptors would leap towards Nozomi, each from different directions, combined their speed would average around 40, although their combined effort was a measly 25 strength as they couldn't really get a full swipe on her, due to her jutsu being stronger the closer they got to her.

Lucky for them, their scales where around 40 so they managed to attack and regenerate a little every time they ran out of her zone, Yuuto would now glow green as his Courage cloak would rake over his appearance, giving him a green bloodied tunic that had chain mail underneath, his cap also changed colors while his ears grew pointier, effectively turning him into an elf. "I'll be fine." Yuuto's regenerative abilities were slowly but steadily closing his wounds, his heavy breathing slowed down as his body got ready to fight, so should Hisato.

As she continued to try to pull the stake out she would see her fellow dagger that was previously fending off the raptors coming to help Yuuto. Based on what she had seen she had to no reason to believe he was a threat to her goal and more importantly her team mate. So she quickly moved as fast as she could away from Yuuto in a diagonal way so that she could try to stop the raptors from attacking Hisato without having Hisato get hurt by the aura she was generating. By the time they switched places with Hisato he had managed to pull the branch out and was keeping Yuuto safe.

Thankfully because of the wide range of the field the raptors options for attacking were limited to predictable basic hit and run attacks. She would quickly dive out of the way each time they started to head in her direction. She couldn’t do much against their far superior speed. But even if she could get one meter away from them before they could reach her that would give her jutsu more time to work on them. As she constantly tried to avoid getting bit while using the wide reaching aura to black them from reaching Yuuto and Hisato until they were ready.

She would continue playing this dance of death as she dived around trying to avoid getting bit in dangerous areas. While she tried buying time

"Hah." The man scoffed a little, glancing up from the slowly regenerating kid at his feet and over towards the other dagger who took off running the other way, seemingly moving away from them in order to keep using what every deadly aura she was creating. 'I see.' Shaking his head the man reached back over his left and right shoulders in that moment pulling out both of his katana blades, one was a glass like crystalline creation that seemed to disappear from sight when it was swung, while the other was a plain matte black that seemed unable to reflect any light even if the sun was to directly shine upon it. "For some reason the concentration of these predators is much higher here than anywhere else I've been, it's almost like were on a..." In that moment the boy paused as his eyes widened a bit in the realization of his own thoughts, the words that he didn't finish as his grey eyes quickly started to look around for the signs.

'We are either in their hunting grounds or near their nest, that would explain why there are so many and how aggressive they are.' Shaking his head the boy couldn't help but curse slightly under his breath as he poured more of his attention into his ears in that moment searching further than his hearing would normally pick up. "Fuck..." Turning back to Yuuto he spoke, "We really need to move away from this place, how long will you be?" Waiting for the response he simply nodded and turned back to their other comrade as the dinosaurs chased her in unison, obvious pack hunters as they tried to encircle and flank the shinobi, luckily her decay aura was keeping them at least at bay. It was slightly out of character for the man, but he could see the usefulness of someone with her abilities on the team in the future, more than he could say for the other boy at the moment.

"When you're good, join us and we'll fight out way out of here." Preparing to leap from the log his body seemed to move into a neutral stance, his feet about shoulder width and his swords almost in an 'x' like shape across his chest, it was in that moment his mind became completely focused and his eyes snapped toward the raptors, like grey daggers as the muscles in his body seemed to enlarge visibly on his well-toned frame. Leaning forward his leg's muscles seemed to tighten and expand slightly a second time as he used another technique to further increase his speed, reaching the pinnacle of his own strength and speed, tilting forward as his feet stayed glued to the large branch he fell forward until he reached about a forty-five-degree angle facing the foliage below.

For those with normal sight, the black haired boy seemed to disappear due to the sheer speed at which he was moving, appearing in between a pair of raptors that were at the edge of Nozomi's aura causing them to turn to him only to meet a pair of a perfectly aimed thrusts, driving the two blades, one into each head of the raptors that only managed to let out a brief cry before dying. This confused the other raptors as they stopped momentarily trying to assess the situation, hopefully that would give the girl some time to breath and for Yuuto to get ready. It was in everyone's best interest to leave this area before they attracted even more of these predators, for even with his own speed he would be only able to protect himself if they got to outnumbered.

As his fellow daggers did their own thing Yuuto continued to focus on healing his wound, he pushed himself up to a standing position now as he peered Hisato in his eyes. "Yeah, I will be ready to fight any minute now." It didn't mean that he would be fully healed but he would be able to do something. Nozomi was busy dodging and weaving the attacks, her danger zone was slowly peeling their flesh while Hisato's attacks would render the ones he struck dead, Yuuto on the other hand would look up at where Mirror was dangling before leaping over to the branch that suspended the shield.

He slowly balanced his way toward it, Red was looking down and slowly panicking as he realized that his electric armor wouldn't do much against the fall damage, Yuuto's regeneration wouldn't do much when he got damaged, which was something he was going to remedy in the future. "Be careful there lad, I don't want you to fall and break something, heck, I really don't want you to break me." Red yapped as he helped try to balance with Yuuto.

Their fighting did nothing to help the situation and the loud shrieks from the incoming pack forced Yuuto to make hasty decisions. "Trust me." Yuuto looked over at Red with a bright smile, This is going to hurt badly, but at least we will be able to get out of here as quickly as possible. his wound hadn't fully closed and with the upcoming action it would probably worsen, before Red could answer he would leap for the shield and grab it with his good arm, he would twist and turn as he made a rapid descend. "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND!?" Red panicked as he saw the ground incoming at an intense pace.

Yuuto crashed into one of the raptors and rolled off of its mangled body, he heard it yelp in pain as it got up and limped away. "I barely trust ya as it is lad, then you go and pull off something so stupid, you could've gotten yourself killed!—Or eeeh... Not killed but you get me!" Yuuto just nodded as he painfully pushed himself up onto his feet. "We should get out of here before the rest of the pack gangs up on us." Yuuto ran up to Hisato first to shield his back before he moved closer toward Nozomi.
