Maruka woke up and just laid in his bed for a few moments, the Jounin had just returned from a mission and he rolled over to his side. He was actually shocked, a genin hadn't been assigned to him yet, usually they were given away quickly. The boy just laid there and waited until he heard foot steps by his door. He closed his eyes to pay attention to the noise and than it slowly walked away, not coming in or causing any disturbances. That was always a good sign, or at least, that's what he thought until he sat up and saw the note that had been slid in underneath of the door. Damn, another assignment? Already? He thought to himself as he stood up.
The boy picked up the letter and opened it, Kioku Maruka, you have been assigned to teach Jadoku Hayasu a Genin in the village about techniques and the like. You are to meet outside of the Kage's Office. . Great, it was a tutoring session, what he had just been thankful he hadn't been given. Ah well, the boy walked around his room and grabbed his usual outfit, the black shirt, the jounin vest, and a pair of black pants. He walked outside and started to head towards the meeting area.
Maruka finally arrived, and he looked around before raising his hand to his lips. The boy wiped off the blood that was dripping from the corners and sighed, it was the usual thing that Kioku members had, the whole blood dripping from their orifices thing. Yet, he was wondering what his Genin would think of that, but either way, he was now sitting here, waiting.

“JADOKU! Get up! You have a message!”
The startling, annoyance of his mother’s voice shattered his peaceful rest, He eyes slowly opened, revealing his dull, dark hazel eyes. He sighed and threw the sheets off of his body. He sat up and freely allowed his head to drop into his hands.
“JADOKU! Get up already!”
That screeching voice, echoed yet again. He couldn’t cope with those irregular bursts of the irritating shouts. He stood and slowly walked over to his pine chest; he pulled out the door and unfolded a pair of baggy, black pants. He slipped them on and then shut the door, it made a smash that made the half asleep, Jad, jump. He continued to open draws and put from them his regular outfit. After getting fully dress, he drowsily, plodded down the hallway to the living room. He opened the door to see the annoying voice’s face. His mother stood infront of him, pushing a fragile piece of paper into his chest. It began to scrunch up before Jad took it from his mother’s hand. He gently opened it and read it with increased interest. It read “Hayasu, Jadoku. You have been assigned a mentor; his name is Kioku, Maruka. You are to meet him outside of the Kage office.” Finally, Jadoku had been assigned his mentor. He could know get some serious training done. He was overjoyed but decided to keep his cool and make sure he didn’t give his mentor the wrong first impression, he didn’t want his mentor to see him as a burden, more of a partner. He wanted to make his sensei proud, not drive him crazy. He gathered his stuff and quickly headed out for the Kage’s office.
He reached the office and walked in to see, a tall man with long black hair. He then saw the two katana’s that formed the “X” formation on his back, Jad instantly knew they would get along perfectly, his glanced back at his smaller version of his new sensei’s weapons. He walked briskly forward, being careful not to muck it up.
“Hello, are you Kioku, Maruka? I’m Hayasu, Jadoku but call me Jad.”
He followed his introduction with a small smile and awaiting tensely for the response.

Maru stood in front of the kage's building and thought about the boy he would be teaching. What would they start with? Probably basic chakra control, that would be necessary in order to perform powerful jutsu. Depending on how strong the boy was, they could work on learning the boys elemental jutsu and see how he can control his own power. But that would all be depending on the student himself, yet, Maru needed to test the boy as well, see what rough piece of mud he was expected to sculpt into a beautiful piece of art.
The black haired boy reached into the pouch on the side of his leg and pulled out as shuriken, and carefully, he started to flip it between his fingers while he waited. Yet, he didn't have to wait very long before someone showed up and asked if his name was Kioku Maruka, the black haired boy nodded. "So, your the Genin I'm expected to turn into a shinobi huh? Well, follow me." He said as he started to walk away, a proper introduction wasn't exactly in his personality, he just wanted to see what he'd have to do to make sure this boy stayed alive.

The black haired man nodded, Jad stood with a small grin on his face, although the grin was soon wiped from his face when the man just simply got up and walked out, with a simply order, to follow him.

Maru remained silent on the trip, he was trying to figure out this boy, figure out how annoying he was or if he was the strong, silent type. In the end he proved to be somewhat annoying but that was just a first glance type of assumption. Yet, they arrived where he had wanted to be, the training grounds. He stood there, the sand around him moving as he stared at his Genin student. "Alright, so, let's see what you have." He said smiling as he adjusted the forehead protector against his arm.
"The plan is just to show me what you have" He said smiling, as he put one foot behind the other, "Ready....GO" He said before watching his student.

“Just what i expected”. Jad was excited to see how his sensei fought. He knew he had to produce top quality technique to get some kind of praised from his sensei.
“If you say so.”
Jad began to do handseals, whilst his hands moved his grin enlarged. He then took a giant breathe of air in, the last seal rose to his lips wear he blew out the air furiously. As the air passed the seal it became a revolving ball of fire. The giant ball of fire was heading in Maruka’s directions. Jad knew it wasn’t going to hit, but showing off a decent sized fireball was a good way to begin a battle, atleast in Jad’s opinion anyway. As the fireball headed in his sensei’s direction Jad followed it, clenching his fist.
“If you say so.”

Maruka smiled as his pupil started to make a large amount of hand signs. He watched and waited before he saw the boy raise his hands and that's when he started to move. The black haired teen made a set of hand seals and as the fire neared him he disappeared. He smiled as he appeared behind his pupil and started to make a set of hand signs before lunging his hand forward and an arm came out of the cut in his hand, it could reach three feet, so he just watched.

Jad was slightly disguised by that technique, the arm was just nasty.
He leapt back and then focussed his chakra to jump again in the air to gain more distance away from his sensei and his weird jutsu.

“ Katon • Housenka no Jutsu”
He finished the hand seals and spewed out 5 small fireballs. They raced towards Maruka, as the fireballs flew through the air, Jad lowered his left arm and grasped 5 shuriken from his pouch. He then launched the shuriken into the fireballs for a little extra damage if one hit.

Maruka smiled as his pupil quickly made a counter attack after dodging his arm. The arm of blood quickly changed shape into a blade that ran up his arm and he smiled. Jad was able to use the Katon element and he seemed to be very good at using the tactic, along with some basic chakra control. He smiled and looked at the boy, the flaming shurikens were nearing him so quickly, the black haired boy pulled out two of his swords and dodged the flames before slicing the flames and catching all of the shurikens around his blade.

Jad asked his sensei with a cheeky smirk on his face. He rubbed his head and then wiped the tiny sweat droplets from his forehead. He then stood back in a ready position, his sensei never told him to stop.

Maruka looked at the boy and smiled before he made a quick hand seal and appeared behind his pupil. The sword holding the shuriken at the young child's throat. He smirked and dropped the shuriken in front of his student before moving in front of the child. He pulled at his collar, perfectly showing the hand shaped scar on his neck. "Don't let your guard down, even around those you think you can trust. It'll get you hurt in the end." He said as he put h is sword back into it's sheath.
