[Mission] The End Justifies the Means

The reports of the thief still being somewhere in the village were true. Apparently, the fellow was still around on some last minute business. The location of where he and the rest of his crew were hiding out was still a mystery. Knowing that he was still in the village though, a request was put out for him. It would be fairly simple considering he was alone, however, the man seemed to know a thing or two about fighting. At least swordsmanship, for he always carried a sword at his hip. That aside, he always wore a brown cloak and light brown clothing. It was part of some camouflage that blended in well once he was outside of the village where he could simply lie down and 'disappear'. The hazel eyed, black haired fellow was walking down an alley and seemed to be in a rush, perhaps trying to leave the village before he was discovered.

Hito wasted absolutely no time. The instant he saw the thief by himself in the alley, he pulled out his senbon and carefully separated them in his hand. He forced some of his chakra into them before sprinting overhead on the roofs before leaping over so he was directly above the thief. Once he was in the air, Hito threw the senbon carefully downwards.

He wasn’t a taijutsu expert, but this would be enough.

None of the senbon actually hit the target, they just rained down around them.

As they flew downwards, Hito performed a few hand seals and looked at the senbon once they were in position, instantly, they froze. The senbon surrounded the man so he couldn’t move more than a few inches without coming in contact with one, they were also close enough apart that simply moving through the gaps wasn’t that easy.

Hito landed directly in front of the hopefully imprisoned thief. Without a word, Hito mercilessly flicked the kunai, aiming for the thief’s knee. This way, escaping wasn’t an option and he’d give a nice first impression.

Hopefully this was worth it, the thief had caused Hito to activate his eyes, losing 20 points on his clock.

Sutatikku Kangoku [Static Prison]
C-ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: Todomeru Me active, ~Tomeru • Chuuisoriddo [Stop: Medium Solid]
After instilling chakra into many small objects, the user does the needed seals, then throws those objects out. Then, by using their Todomeru Me, freeze those objects in place after they get to a certain spot. This can cause the objects to completely block someone's movement, if they get caught in the materials. Rather than the standard cost, the user's ticker moves 30 points if the user's Stamina+Ninjutsu are lower than 10. 20 points if lower than 20, but higher than 10. 10 points if lower than 30, but higher than 20. Then 5 points if lower than 40, but higher than 30.

OOC: sorry, random, but can you say what time it is in the day? It’s relevant to my eye Jutsu.

((It's daytime. We'll probably be going back and forth a little on this one, so bare with me.))

The man had been power walking alone in the alley until he noted the senbon flying down all around him. When he realized that they weren't hitting him, he came to the conclusion that he wasn't going to be killed off quickly. No, it seemed like he would be imprisoned and questioned and this fact was proven once the senbons froze in mid air around him. At that point, the man quickly lashed out his sword to strike the senbons on his right side, only managing to strike one. Spotting the kunai coming, he quickly swung his sword back to deflect it, but was only able to shift it's course as it barely missed his leg, leaving a cut on the side of his knee. The man eyed the Chunin whom stood before him, but otherwise made no move to attack him.

Hito didn’t smile or show any particular emotion as the man reacted. He didn’t have much chances of escaping, but Hito was prepared if he did. The man was clearly experienced with his sword, meaning he was probably more experienced in hand to hand combat than Hito was. Either way, Hito had a job to do.

Without a word, Hito performed a few hand seals and took a deep breath. All of a sudden, he released the sharp breath in the form of a wind bullet. The bullet rocketed forward towards the man’s left shoulder blade, aiming nicely towards the very joint that connected the shoulder to the arm. Immediately after doing that, Hito pulled out another kunai and threw it at the man’s other shoulder. Like with the bullet, he aimed it so it would go right into the joint.

He wanted to limit the threat of a sword and give the man a wound, just to be sure. Still, after all that, Hito said nothing.

The man would be unable to dodge or move fast enough to avoid the wind bullet completely. He did what he could though and turned a little to the side to avoid a direct impact. Like with his leg, the wind bullet only managed to graze him, though this one was much deeper than the one left on his leg. The kunai flying towards his other shoulder? That one was deflected by a flick of his sword. The man was not only good with his sword, but had good reflexes and reaction speed. Aside that, he had yet to use any manner of jutsu or even make an attack.

Hito frowned. This man was good, even while imprisoned, he managed to dodge so well. Hito just had to further limit his movement, then.

Hito performed a few hand seals and put his hand outwards and sent a small ball of mist forwards. Hito purposefully put less chakra into it, making it so fragile that the second it touched the senbon, it broke as it moved forward. The mist enveloped itself around the target's body and floated about. At first, Hito did nothing, but as the mist started to die out at the top and the bottom, Hito performed some hand seals and stared at the mist.

Like the senbon, the mist froze and Hito's eye ticker moved accordingly. However, the mist had now frozen tightly around the target's torso, making it basically impossible to move his upper body.

"I can maintain this mist and these senbon for as long as i want. With your movement limited like this, how would you possible defend yourself? The answer is, you wouldn't. So save me and you the trouble of your appendages getting cut off and tell me where your leader and your thieves are."

Mizu Tama Kurie-shon is a Ninjutsu technique that allows the user to create a small ball that, when broken, will spew out a small cloud of mist. The mist will only last for a minute or two (one post) and will only cover a small area.

C-ranked Ninjutsu
Hito must concentrate on a visible gas equivalent to the size of a billow of smoke caused by an explosion from an explosive tag. Once he does so, the gas will stop.

Combined Ninjutsu and Stamina are equal to:
6-7: 60 ticks ahead
8-9: 50 ticks ahead
10-11: 35 ticks ahead
12-14: 20 ticks ahead
16-20: 15 ticks ahead
21-30: 10 ticks ahead
31-39: 6 ticks ahead

The man was uncertain of what was going on, but when he saw the first set of handseals, the man took measures to make preparations of his own. He dug into his cloak and took out a kunai, quickly throwing it into the ground righ next to him. It was the only move he had time to make since Hito was already on his second set of handseals.

At that point, the man couldn't move the upper half of his body anymore. He quickly shifted his leg to the side so that his foot was touching the kunai he had tossed earlier. Then it came, the questioning he was expecting from the very start.

"Is this it?" The man asked, sharing the same emotionless voice and look on his face as the Chunin himself. "I'll ask you something, what is your mission?"

Hito was too cautious to miss the kunai. It seemed harmless enough, but Hito refused to leave a single chance of escape. Hito pulled out another of his own kunai and threw it at the one impaled in the ground. The way he aimed it, the kunai would hit any part of the weapon with enough force to send it back out of reach or at least to remove it from the ground.

Returning his gaze to the target, Hito showed only impatience at the question.

“My mission details are for me and me only. All you need to concern yourself with is my question. Tell me where your leader and the rest of your band of thieves are. This is the last time I ask nicely.”

"Heh..."

The kunai hit home, hitting the one the man had thrown and knocing it away. It was then that it could be noticed, a wire extending from the kunai to the man. The cloak was pulled down from the man to reveal a set of explosive tags around his waist, all of which were activated when the kunai was removed. The kunai had been thrown as a sort of pin, the tags the grenade.

"I already figured it out, knew from the start, but your arrogance got the best of you..." The man smirked as the tags were set to explode. It was a precarious situation. If it wasn't stopped somehow, the man would most certainly die and Hito himself would probably be caught in the blast radius to some effect. However, letting him die would ruin Hito's chances of getting the thieves location and result in failure.

Hito frowned as the cloak came flying off and exploding tags were revealed. His face returned to its regular emotionless appearance the same time that his fingers started to move. The tag was nearly halfway gone by the time Hito’s hand seals finished (OOC: Tags sizzle before exploding some times and such.) Hito leapt and moved as close to the man as he could before releasing the chakra that started the Jutsu. Suddenly, the air shimmered and gained a light green tint at the same time as the tags flew off of the thief’s waist and rocketed outwards in every direction. Two meters out, they exploded. The blast and any of it’s effects were completely blocked by the dome of fuuton that covered the area.

Hito looked at the Thief with a frown, leaping back to his original position. “So I’m taking it you’re not going to cooperate.” Hito pulled out another kunai and wordlessly flicked it, aiming at the area that was now exposed thanks to the cloak being removed. The kunai was aimed for the middle of his leg, leaning more to the outside of his thigh. Hito was sure to aim for an area where the femoral artery didn’t pass, he didn’t want this man to die… yet.

*Fuuton • Eado-mu [Wind Element • Air Dome]
C-ranked Ninjutsu
Fuuton • Eado-mu is a ninjutsu utilizing the Wind Element. After forming a set of handseals, the user will focus his/her chakra into the air around him/her. It will spread around the user and form a thin barrier of air around the user. It will spread 2 meters around the user, protecting them from light projectiles and low rank(E, D) jutsu. Also, if your opponent is within this 2 meter range, they will be pushed out of the range.

With his upper body bound and his suicidal explosives attempt foiled, the man was low on options. Then came the kunai, precisly aimed at his leg and so it wouldn't hit any arteries. However, the man was already resolved to die and since the lower body was the only thing he could move, he moved in closer to the kunai as it nailed him right where the Chunin didn't want, the femoral artery. He would bleed to death slowly as he struggled to remain standing. He had given up on fighting physically, but his mind was still going as he simply glared out at Hito.
