When isn't it Genjutsu

Was he late? Probably. Should he be on his way to his meeting? Definitely. But the young man was just so comfy. His body stretched across the roof of his home as he lay sprawled out watching the clouds roll by. How long was he out? His eyes were still a bit hazy as he blinked slowly, hoping each time his vision would clear but alas that was not for him. The boy leaned forward, slowly peeling himself off the ground before his body sort of limply fell forward and a sigh escaped his lips. He was still fatigued, what was he even doing yesterday? Ah didn't matter, he had to get going, he knew he was late he could feel it. Getting himself to his feet he stretched, his body screaming in resentment as he opened up and relaxed, leaving him much more awake. "That's better." He uttered to himself, looking around for his brother, nowhere in sight. "Hm, guess i'll find him eventually." He exhaled as he placed a foot onto the edge of the roof. Before too long he was gone.

Graceful as ever he leapt across to his neighbors' house, running a small distance before he stepped off, gravity taking him as he landed into a roll finding himself tucked in an alleyway. The tan ninja nonchalantly stepped from the shadows, a wooden brush in hand as he brushed his hair, removing any sand or dust from it as he strolled down the street. His hands were buried in his pocket, hiding the origin of the bandages that ensnared both arms up to his elbows, they hid the marks of his training, the scratches and cuts he'd received of late, nothing to serious but his body was one place he preferred sand free.

He maneuvered through crowds of people, quite a few out today, his shoulders nearly meeting a few people as he dipped and turned, shining smiles to familiar faces. Seeing a cute girl with dark hair he spun on his heels, meeting her with a gaze, eyeing her and smirking as she giggled. Something felt off about her but he was caught up in the moment, "She digs me." He thought, turning back to eat a face full of chin as a man began to stare holes into his psyche. "My bad, dawg." he continued to smile as his hand rhythmically stroked his hair, searching for any hints of a mess in his fade. The man seemed cold as ice, Ishi moving around him and catching another glance at the girl before winking and skirting off. That could have been much, much smoother.

The Genin was not too far from the location, he was to meet at the academy, it was time for him to join a squad apparently. From his experience and knowledge here in Suna he would be looking at a jounin leader and possibly an additional squad mate, he was actually pretty excited. His lean arms visible as only a grey tank top covered his torso, and his baggy black pants were wrapped from foot to shin in bandages. He looked down at himself and realized he was clearly not dressed for the occasion but it was kind of too late as it was. Ishi looked around as he got ever closer, the doors for the academy just a few meters away as he stopped, his new teacher was to be somewhere around here...somewhere. Thinking of it, he had no idea who he was meeting and what they even looked like. This might just suck a whole lot. Oh well, he was in this deep, time to see what came of it.
