Inka sighed, approaching the small sandy training grounds. It was not often he got to engage in training outside his own him anymore. The training circumstances in Suna were...unusual. If you didn't have someone to train with, you could request assistance through the academy and others would be "matched" up with you. Inka had heard this was the case in all the villages, that the practice hailed from old dojos. But, he couldn't help but feel it was strange being asked to pair up with some random stranger for training.

He wanted to expand his endurance, and had informed the recruiter as much, so presumably whoever he would be training with would be interested in the same. This was where he had been told to meet. It was a hot, sandy day, with enough of a breeze to blow up sand and make the day only a little sandier. The sun was high in the sky, and Inka's baggy clothes designed to protect him from the heat didn't seem to be doing much.

Sighing, he moved to the center of the ring and closed his eyes, forming a series of hand seals and throwing his hands out, forming a barrier around the training area. Well, he didn't want intruders after all, and this would mark the beginning of his training. Partner or not, Gaian had always said that the fastest way to train stamina, was to expend stamina. He'd spam jutsu and hope for the best, really. He already knew what he'd do when his partner got here, but, for now, this was the easiest solution.

Clasping his hands together, he'd focus and open his senses even further, closing his eyes and feeling the chakra flow in the world around him. More seals would follow, and he'd thrust his hand forward, only to return to sealing, until a small pyramid of boxes had formed in front of him. Inka had a lot of stamina, thank Shishire for that, and great chakra control, also due to Shishire, so it would take a lot of jutsu to really start taking a drain on him to be some worthwhile training. Maybe it was for the best that his partner wasn't already here. He was sure they wouldn't be at his calibre...few in Suna were after all.

Tsuken wasn't interested in much these days. Not missions, not leisure, and certainly not going on missions. He was lucky that his superiors hadn't thrust him back into the fray and had only required him to train with some stranger. He sighed at the prospect, fully aware that his body was nowhere near up to par. He stretched his neck and arms as he made his way to the training grounds, silently hoping that whoever it was he was required to train with was just a little genin, or a chuunin who was just starting to forge their path in the same way he was. Anyone stronger than that and he didn't know how long he could keep up, or if he could keep up to begin with.

If they were on speaking terms, his father would have urged him to train with someone special jounin or higher. "No sense in lowering yourself," he'd huff, "train with someone stronger so you'll have something to work toward." The chuunin scoffed at the hypothetical lecture and made his way to the ring.

His training partner was already there doing something or other with some boxes. Tsuken watched him, curious, and realized he wasn't very familiar with the guy. His superior didn't tell him anything about his partner, only a name and where to find him. He seemed young, and Tsuken held on to the hope that he wasn't strong enough to utterly kick his ass without trying. After a few minutes he stepped into the ring and raised his arm in a small wave. "Yo. You must be Setsuya Inka, right? I'm Henrin Tsuken. Pleasure."

As the young man approached, Inka could feel his chaka, and he'd stand to face him. Sizing him up, Inka began to walk in his direction, his pace somewhat hurried, his face void of emotion. As Tsuken entered the ring, Inka would shake his head, placing his hand on the barrier wall as he approached it and walking straight through it. Snapping, without even looking back, the boxes within the barrier would all burst, a series of concussive blasts ringing through the area and tearing through the barrier. Wincing slightly, Inka nodded, "Eh, yeah, I am. Surprised you don't have more recognition to the name?", his brow come together as he said this. It wasn't often a jinchuurinki went unrecognized.

Twisting his hand in the air, he shrugged, "I've already gotten started. You gonna join me, eh? I figure for the first bit, we'll spam a bunch of jutsu, you know, really start to bring down our stamina.", his eyes thinned as he inspected Tsuken. "Ehhh, you aint got much, no wonder you're training.", the distance between them was...enormous, in terms of stamina at least.

"Guess that makes me a good choice. We'll catch you up to me in no time, eh? Anyways, spam some jutsu, the heaviest ones you got. Once you're done, we'll lock away your chakra and cross out fingers, eh?", he winked and sealed once more, releasing a large flame from his mouth into the air, and then developing a series of small flames above his head.

"Jutsu jutsu jutsuuuuu', he sang, walking back into the now ravaged training ring.

Tsuken squinted as the blast erupted around them and fanned his hand in front of his face to swipe away the sand that swirled violently through the air. He shrugged at the younger and noted, "Sorry, I don't pay much attention to current affairs."

The Henrin wasn't usually one to be easily intimidated, but seeing the seemingly younger boy effortlessly explode boxes and comment on how he didn't have "much" stamina was cause to pause in contemplation. Sure, he wasn't the strongest guy out there, but he didn't think it was so obvious that a stranger would flippantly comment on it.

"Uh, the thing is," Tsuken started, his voice becoming quieter, "I don't know many er, draining jutsu. I typically punch my way through my problems, yanno?" With that, he blinked slowly and his solid black eyes developed two red concentric rings. He gestured towards his eyes and smirked. "Quickest way to tire myself out is to use this and like, physically fight someone or something, yanno?

He cracked his knuckles and spread his legs in what was a half-hearted stance, then outstretched his right hand in front of him just below his chest, palm straight out. "So how 'bout it?

Inka frowned, rolling his eyes at the mateter. What a kid! He didn't know any ninjutsu? Geez, how was Inka going to do any stamina training with someone like this? Doing a series of hand seals, he shrugged, "Fine, we'll do it this way then., he erected another barrier, throwing it up around them and allowing it to lock them in place on the training grounds.

Taking a fighting stance, he nodded, "Eh, I guess we'll do it the old fashioned way. Whatever it is, I guess.", taking a deep breath, he beckoned his opponent forward, "Whenever you're ready then.", his senses were still open, with his minds eye probing the boy. He'd read his chakra, at a minimum, to check for anything. Maybe the boy could channel jutsu and would try and surprise him. Training or not, INka would not be caught off guard.

As soon as Inka beckoned him forward, his demeanor changed. His passive stance stiffened, and he drew his hands together to form a long string of double seals. He wasn't sure what Inka would do, so he decided to keep his distance. Once he performed the seals, he poured his chakra into the ground, and a large area around him became charged with electricity. It crackled wildly around him, rising in angry bolts and arched currents, and Tsuken's already wild hair stood on end even more.

Then, the pulled out a single kunai from his leg pouch and held it in front of his defensively. Still extremely wary of the other shinobi, he decided to let Inka come to him so that he could fully see what he was up against.

C-ranked Raiton Jutsu
After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 20m diameter. This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. Any other than the user who step into this zone will have the shocking effect applied and their legs will sustain first degree electrical burns. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals, the user coats their weapon in a vortex of wind. This extends the weapon's range by 1m while not adding anything to its weight for 5 posts. It also causes the weapon to gain an edge as sharp as your average sword. This also applies the fuuton passive with a strength of 10 on contact with an opponent.
