Final Thread of - A strange fusion -

"Nori! We've got to hurry, its heading toward the east side of the village!" With a large amount of faith in his partner's strength and intelligence he called out to him before immediately turning towards the stairs now moving at full speed sprint up them. They needed to get out the underground area and back topside and attempt to locate the creature before it was able to cause any additional injuries to any of the villagers or damage to the village itself or even possibly escape their grasp completely. Shaking his head as he moved through the group of people who had just arrived creating a path for him and Nori to exit the elder would give the order for the remaining Naegi to also follow the duo of white and black clothed shinobi as they raced up the stairs. Only a few moments later the pair would burst out the last door finding themselves bathed in the blinding bright sunlight that awaited them outside causing for even Zao to briefly stop to reorient himself to the direction of east. The right arm coming up over his eyes to shade them now as he breathed rapidly...their truly wasn't any time to waste!

'So bright!' This was the first thought as he left the darkened underground area and arrived at the surface but the thought was immediately pushed away as both eyes were closed tightly keeping his expanded sensory field activated and extend to its maximum size now. At nearly the very edge of the sensory technique the creature's unique spirit like chakra was near instantaneously felt by the experienced Tenku user and both blue eyes snapped open once again underneath the temporary shade created by the raised arm. Neither man had the time to let their vision readjust to the bright desert sun that was now directly about them and the village nearing its noon hour. The dry heat once more also descended down upon the two men as Zao twisted around in a one eight degree movement were both feet had just barely left the ground before upon the right foot touching the ground he pushed forwards springing into motion. The creature was unfamiliar with its current surrounding and had stopped to attempt to determine a way to proceed but sensed the vibrations of the approaching two men and that of the ones who had still yet to exit from underground. "I've got it, the golden vine seems to have stopped about forty five to fifty meters east of here. It seems to have stop....shit its starting to move away."

Indeed, the creature had started to tunnel further away from the pair due to all the commotion within the Naegi compound but hopefully they would be able to contain the creature before it escaped the large clan's area and either entered the village or perhaps escaped out into the open desert. So far it seemed to scared to approach the numerous vibrations that it was detecting as it was slowly becoming use to the sensation and was attempting to figure out its surroundings. After all it had literally just been 'created' through the fusion technique moments earlier and tis intelligence was something akin to a young child's at this point in time. "The other's can catch up to us." Giving thought to the other shinobi who were coming to back them up Zao nodded to Nori and then took off with what speed he could muster attempting to determine through his Mind's Eye the way that the creature was slowly fleeing in. Shifting his bright blue gaze onto his friend now he spoke as they moved from the courtyard out into the streets of the Naegi compound still heading east at this point. "This creature seems to be able to sense us, I'm not sure how it is able to yet but we need to start developing a plan of attack. So far we've seen that the creature's body it surprisingly sturdy and its strength appears to be on par with a taijutsu specialist. I had not expected these kinds of results, my friend."

Sorry I took so long. I wasn't aware the thread had been made so long ago and didn't properly see it among the threads until I was looking just now thinking you must've surely made it by now.

Nori burst through the door alongside Zao as they dashed up the steps back to the surface, shielding his eyes the best he could as he felt the blinding sun come down upon him once more having been hidden away from it for a decent while underground.
However there wasn't enough time to truly remain idle and become used to the rays as his blue eyed companion spotted where the monster was headed, calling for the two men to continue their chase alongside a few Naegi that had also began to mobilise.

The black clothed man briefly shook his head as he wore a look of dismay on his face before reaffirming his strong will to protect the people of his village. With the white clothed man's worried tones about the plant digging further along, they had to move posthaste and attempt to stop it some how.
"How do we even get it to stop digging, there's nothing we can do if it doesn't come to the surface... is there?" Nori painfully questioned as they began to dash through the sand toward the vile beast.

'How do we stop this thing from digging?' The young scholar was actually asking himself the same question, luckily it hadn't decided to retaliate against them or any of the nearby shinobi now as the Naegi were going to attempt to stop it from escaping the boundaries of their own compound now. Sadly the young man wasn't to skilled in the art of element techniques, an Earth or Sand user would have made this chase so much easier and he wasn't sure if Nori was skilled in either of the areas having only seen him use Wind and Vector releases. Having such a master over the finer aspects of ninjutsu really wouldn't help them at this point but one could not forget that it wasn't just the two of them here now. The plant didn't have any eyes or ears so it had to rely upon the vibrations of the world around it in order to navigate around and luck was on the shinobi's side as the creature still continued to move slowly through the unfamiliar terrain. Yet, things wouldn't remain like this for ever as the spirit pet would become more accustom to feeling its environment the long it was allow to roam free.

"We need to find a way to drive it toward the Naegi, they have more elemental ninjutsu and plant based techniques that will be of more use in this type of terrain now. I'm not that good with elemental techniques, mainly focusing in sensory and pure ninjutsu style techniques." Zao spoke honestly to his friend now as they bounded along behind the creature maintaining some distance as the pair needed to develop some sort of attack strategy now to fight against the creature. The soft sand seemed to be like swimming in the water for the plan. "This soft sand is to advantageous. I think our best bet will be to drive it towards the stone wall to the north east that is part of the bowl that surrounded the village. If we can corner it there then perhaps between the Naegi and ourselves we can manage to capture the beast without having to destroy or kill it out right. It would be a waste if we had to..."

Their was a little bit of hesitation in the white robed youth's voice as he spoke about killing the creature, this truly was the last resort in the man's mind as it was their first full success. And even if the creature could not be tamed then a captured one could at least be studied and used to help further perfect the technique. In the end the man wished to simply ensure that the collaboration between the Naegi and himself resulted in them and the village growing in strength. While at time the man didn't feel overly attached to the village their would always be part of him that wished to mentor and protect the village...

Nori dashed on alongside Zao full of his passion to protect and serve his village in any way possible and though his friend wanted to capture the strange creature, he himself was not against totally annihilating it if it came to that and as such he remained rather zealous in his approach as he tried to think things through and about any dangers ahead.
"The wall?" he sternly questioned as he glanced up toward it.
"Hmm... Yes, that sounds good" he added as he thought about how it would surely get stuck in its tracks there, indeed forcing it to surface or backtrack right into them where it could be dug out.

With that idea in mind the Special Jounin did ponder the best way to do that sort of thing and he wasn't too sure he had anything that could help, though if it was truly going off vibration senses and was basically running in fear like a wild animal then perhaps if it was disturbed in just the right way then it would get itself cornered.
"Okay, I dunno if this will really do anything but I figure if its running from us in fear then we can easily drive it into a corner with something big so I'm going to try a wide scoping jutsu that should push it to the wall if I aim it just right" the man commented in a flurry of speech.

Having spoken his piece the black clothed male began forming a set of handseals, actually something of a rarity for him, as he dashed forward and tried to get into a good position as he then placed as hands near his mouth and took aim; With a bit of a jump a powerful shot of wind barrelled down from the man right into the sandy ground below hopefully near the surface above the plant.

Normally such a technique would push into and cut a foe with ten strength worth of power as it spread out with a decent amount of range, though this time it was aimed to blow and toss the sand and hopefully frighten the strange plant beast even more in such a way that it would burrow toward the north-east if not just cause it to surface right here right now.

C-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
By performing the needed hand seals and bringing their hands to their mouth, the user can release a wide blast of air. This wave of air moves outward in a cone shape with a 15m width at the end of the cone and moves with a speed of 10. Once it makes contact with a substance, the wind both cuts at it and pushes it away with 10 strength. This blast goes out for a maximum of thirty feet if it doesn't hit anything, where it will dissipate into the surrounding air.

"You might be right my friend!" Zao replied in a excited manner back to his darkly dressed friend, it had been a thought of his but Nori not only was thinking the same thing but instantly went to test it out. A man of action. One of the strong points about the young man that the former Jounin liked. With a firm now he continued to focus on just tracking the beast's movements when he couldn't be seen disturbing the sand as it moved now watching out he corner of his blue eyes while continuing to move forward while keeping a set distance from the plant hybrid. As Nori executed the technique on one side of the creature it did indeed force the creature to move in the other direction altering its trajectory now toward where they wanted for it to go. If they could bring it to the wall then it would be more or less trapped without an exit route.

But if cornered they couldn't be sure if the create even had the intelligence to surrender at this point of if it was more like an animal that when it became cornered it would become more dangerous than ever as it would be fighting to survive. Though that wasn't a concern right now as every movement and action between the pair and even the pursuing Naegi clansmen would help shape the road to battle with the golden vine. Most of his offensive jutsu was a bit much to be using in this area as his comrade helped steer the beast the man removed a kunai with a streamer like piece of paper on the end of it attached through a short piece of ninja wire. As they moved a bit out of the buildings now and into more open area Zao took aim and let loose a kunai with a single chakra thread attached to it to help maneuver it as the man wasn't well known for his taijutsu abilities to include throwing kunai.

Giving the flying kunai a bit of improved aim it struck far left and ahead of the beast that had slowed down a bit after running at full speed for a short period of time after being frightened by his comrade's technique now, forming a single hand seal a tiny amount of chakra ignited the long tag causing it to burn. Moments later a large explosion rocked the area where the kunai had been placed as the golden plant pet was steered further towards the wall now. It was working like the darker version of the duo had hoped and anticipated it would and the pair would soon have the help of a handful of the fastest Naegi who were catching up to them now. If the pair continued this while combining their efforts with the group that was about to join up with them then corning the best would become an easy task. "It's working, we don't have to much further to go to corner it!" The white haired youth called out to his partner as they continued their pursuit of the hybrid now.

Yet, the real fight wouldn't start until the spirit plant was finally stopped and forced to fight for the first time and this time it wouldn't be taking anyone by surprise as they knew of its strong physique. But that didn't mean they knew everything about the new creature, as it as truly one of a kind at this point so they couldn't be a hundred percent sure what secret's its golden body held. Though Zao couldn't wait to find out as he was still ecstatic about their success and part of him wanted to keep this one all to himself or just create one for himself in the future. But he still needed to determine what the creature was like mentally and also how much of it was spirit and if any of his Tenku jutsu would work on it. If the case was that his techniques still had a strong effect on the beast then their was the possibility that he could use his binding technique to make it loyal to him. Though that was the best case scenario as if it was more animal in nature then the only method to taming it would be through force which was undoubtedly a much more difficult task as some creatures would ultimately rather die than bow their heads to a human. "

Nori smiled and nodded toward Zao as it seemed their plan was working and seeing that the explosive tags where working just as well now, the black clothed man pulled out a few kunai and instantly tied some explosive tags to them with his wire as they dashed along.

With everyone tailing behind the strange plant beast and doing all they could to corner it, the Special Jounin could see he could conserve some chakra and simply started to throw his own kunai with valiant accuracy with timed explosions that began to repel the beast toward the wall more and more.
"Looks like we have it now!" the zealous voice rang from the dark looking man.

As the strange creature began to get cornered it was time to hold off for a moment and hang back to see what it decided to do next before trying to assault it full on, though one last explosion would hopefully agitate it one last time and cause it to come to the surface.

This was quite an anxious time as everyone would have to wait and see what happened next, though Nori remained vigilant and ready for a few possible outcomes as he landed by his partner's side ready to strike, dodge, retreat or whatever was needed in the next few moments with a couple different jutsu also in mind depending on the situation.

"For now my friend!" Said replied in stride moving along with the creature who sometimes fled at a speed where it pulled away from the two men, demonstrating that it could have out ran them if it had been familiar with the terrain which was a scary thought for Zao as he watched his comrade utilizing the same method he had not to help 'guide' the creature where they wanted to take it now. Word had also been spread to the Naegi that had joined in the pursuit and were using other routes to put themselves in advantageous positions to be able to also help redirect the creature toward the nearby towering wall that was only a small portion of the defensive terrain feature that helped protect the village. After about another minute of attempting to control and push the beast the creature finally reached the wall and slammed into it with such force that the surface of the wall visible to the shinobi approaching immediately splintered for tens of meters in every direction as some of the feature came tumbling down in a rock slide.

Having plowed into the wall with decent speed and nearly full strength the creature was dazed for several moment under the earth, slightly stunned the creature finally regained its senses to discover the vibrations from numerous shinobi had now surrounded it with around fifty meters of stand off. Unsure what to do as it didn't feel confident in its ability to simply flee now the golden vine moved in an almost snake like fashion as it broke through the surface of the sand in a slow, winding manner revealing that it didn't have any of the normal features one found upon a spirit hybrid creation. Zao stood side by side to his comrade, Nori, pausing for a moment to evaluate the situation as the creature was currently around ten meters tall as it's thorny body was rather resilient and appeared to be rather somewhat intelligent but nothing more then basic intelligence. It also seemed to have gained the ability to transform its body which was a type of power the spirit used in its creation, all these were interesting facts that the white robed youth was storing his memory so that he could later record them in his notebooks.

"It hasn't attacked us yet, let me try something."

Forming a single, unique hand seal with his slender fingers now a copy of the blue eyed scholar appeared off to his right side now before the close began to calmly walk forward now. This was normally something Zao would have preferred to do himself but with the creature in such a panicked and potentially frightened state of mind it was just as likely to lash out and injury him in a defensive manner as it was to allow him to get close. So the shadow clone was created to allow for him to approach the creature in a safe and calculated method for it was much better to loose a bit of chakra than to become injured needlessly. The clone gave a simple nod as it walked forward and the creature instantly hone in upon the vibrations from the soft footsteps across the shifting sands beneath them. With it being a simple clone it was able to radiate a manner of calmness that translated into its movements and even its breathing, all of which could be sensed by the create by the vibrations that were created through the ground and even the air currents in the area directly around it. "Easy now..." The white haired man spoke aloud with a soft voice towards the spirit as it seemed to shrink down to its original size now of six meters and only two inches thick.

Zao wasn't sure if this meant the creature was calming down or making itself harder to hit or catch, so or the meantime the clone had no other options other then to continue with its plan now as it extended its hand palm first out in front of him as if wishing to actually touch the creature now. It only took a few moments to cross the near fifty meter gap between the position of Nori and the original Zao and the creature itself now. The creature's vine body swayed backwards slightly then lashed out in a warning strike that cracked like a whip causing the clone to pull its hand back momentarily before once more reaching forwards. As if sensing the clone truly held no intension to harm it like those within the underground test area it finally gave in and extended the tip of its vine to reach out and touch the clone that was still three meters from the spirit hybrid plant now. Having performed the needed hand seals before walking up the clone channeled Tenku chakra through its body and into its hand now as the two, the clone and the plant, made contact allowing for it to form a telepathic link now as the man spoke directly into the mind of the spirit plant. 'My name is Zao. What is your name?'

His question and words were kept short and concise as it forced the plant to actually think about something other then being chased or trying to escape and it then replied. 'I...I not know...' The response from the plant made the clone tilt its head slightly, the way it spoke was almost child like which to an extent made sense as it had only been alive for less than an hour at this point since it had literally been created by the two groups. 'Then allow for me to call you Toge. How are you feeling?' Zao's clone went ahead and gave the vine a fitting name but in the future their was the possibility that I would wish to change it but that was to far in the future worry about 'I not sure...kind of scared.' His clone nodded and listened to the plant's words now...so far it seemed to be able to speak with the plant to those that were watching, despite the peaceful looking seen almost all of those present were ready to attack and bind the creature with various weapons and jutsu. Having order to capture but if it could not be captured then to try to kill it instead....

Nori held back and watched as everyone surrounded the area when the plant suddenly thudded right into the wall and even caused a part to come crashing down, which was disconcerting but could easily be fixed later and most of all made it clear to the strange creature that it had nowhere else to run.
With that in mind it seemed the plant had given up trying to escape and burst out of the sand and looked ready to maybe lash out in fear, however Zao clearly had other things in mind which concerned the lanky Special jounin but he nodded along and watched as a shadow clone was made.

Wanting this whole mission not to be a waste Norio did at least hope this experiment would be a success so he held back from confronting the danger, instead allowing his friend to try his method which seemed fine given the substitute of a clone.
Though there was a moment when the strange creature lashed out that briefly startled the black clothed man enough for him to place his hand on his sword handle, then again it was only very brief as the plant then extended a vine to the clone and some strange connection between the two seemed to be put in place preventing the man from understanding what might be happening beyond this point.

There was not much else Nori could do at that point but try and patiently wait whilst being vigilant of the situation, simply waiting for whatever was happening between the creature and clone to come to an hopefully peaceful end.

The original Zao stood tall beside his dark clothed friend, while he also wished for a quick and peaceful ending to their current situation it was truly out of both of the young men's hands as everything at this moment relied upon the spirit. All either could do at this point was watch and wait as the shadow clone had at least been able to make a telepathic link with the creature now through the use of Tenkujutsu and was attempting to talk down the plant hybrid now. 'I can understand that my little friend, you were just born and have all of us chasing after you. If must have been a frightening event.' The clone tried to empathize with plant spirit hybrid at the moment realizing that it was like an infant spirit with the intelligence probably around a child that was around seven or eight. But even so everything was new to the plant as it was still trying to understand its surrounding, where was it? Who as it? 'I Toge...Toge...?'

Toge quietly repeated the name which Zao's clone had offered it now and seemed to calm itself now, something that the white haired man touching it could physically and mentally notice which allowed for him to let out a gentle sigh of relief. So far so good. 'What is going to happen to me?' It's words became a bit more clear as it was slowly beginning to understand things now as its serpent like body of vine and thorns swayed back and forth while maintaining just a very slight amount of contact with the hand at the moment. 'There are only a few choices, my little friend. The first is to go back willingly with the men behind me who helped give you life or to come back with me instead...or....' The clone offered the pet only two options, these were the only real options for the creature before finally giving it the third choice which was one he didn't want to see. '...or if you resist they will attack you without holding back and either kill or bind you.' It was at this moment that the creature suddenly realized that the options it had was to become a servant to either the Naegi, Zao, or to attempt to flee in which it would either then be forced into servitude or be killed.

A slight shiver went down the vine as it took several seconds to respond to the firm but truth words from the man's clone now, 'I don't want to die...but I want to be free!' and with those words the clone shook its head and response in kind 'the closest thing to freedom would be with me, but this is a decision that I need for you to make now, little one...' Zao had left everything to the young plant creature now for it needed to make this decision, if it refused then things would truly become more complicated with him having to forcibly bind the creature which was something he was willing to do if needed. Back with the original man now he turned to Nori after seeing the creature start to become a bit scared again. "My clone is trying to convince the plant into following myself, instead of the Naegi clan. But it is most likely like a young child so its actions might end up being be a bit thoughtless or wild." The blue eyed man turned his gaze upon his partner in crime now and spoke in a low volume akin to a whisper to Nori as though he didn't want to let everyone else know of his intentions at this point.

Such a creature truly was a one of a kind and it was something Zao had been planning for some time, that being to take the first successful creature for himself wither it be through being able to convince the creature to follow him naturally or utilizing his binding technique that would make the creature a loyal servant of himself. Either way every fiber of his being was devoted to making this creature his own. After whispering to his friend the man's determined gaze returned onto the golden vine before the two of them that was still swaying back and forth like a snake. It was at this moment the creature decided that it would rather be free then serve a human and it glowed with a faint golden light that encompassed the entire body of the creature now before it rapidly began to glow now. The creature seemed to almost explode with power now as it rapidly grew in size to nearly twenty meters tall and several meters wide at its base now with a pair of equally long 'arm' vines that were long but much thinner then its main vine now. In the process of it growing the long dagger like thorns had accidently struck the clone destroying it in the process now as everything it had spoken and learned about the plant transferred back to the creator. "I see..."

A auditable sigh could be heard from the scholar as the information flooded into his mind with the memories of the clone, the plant would need to be taken through the user of force it seemed which was something the young man had wished to avoid. But it was to late for any more talking as they would need to somehow bind the plant. Luckily they had a large group of shinobi from the Naegi that had arrived as more would be heading this way soon to help deal with the disturbance as Zao lifted his bright eyes to follow the creature's growing body until it matured into a twenty meter tall golden vine with its two vine arms wiggling about back and forth at the moment. "We have only two choice, either we are able to tie it down long enough for me to bind it through my Tenku...or most likely it will continue to fight until it is killed." Their was a certain sadness in the young man's voice as he spoke aloud to Nori and those around him who of the Naegi nodded in acknowledgement and began making hand seals before pulling out Jishu seeds and planting them in the ground in front of themselves. Zao only stood his ground watching and waiting to be able to make a move of his own as the others prepped their different binding techniques and attacks. Soon the area would be transformed from desert to a mini jungle of plant life...

~[Flourish Style: Poison Oak]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary one handed seals or channeling chakra while holding a Jishu seed, the Naegi will proceed to throw it at the enemy as the seed activates. Once the seed activates, it will violently expand with 20 Speed before bursting as sprawling poison ivy vines spread out like a web that is 20 meters in diameter, attempting to ensnare whatever they are aimed at with a strength of 20. Upon contact will skin, the victim will come in contact with the plants urushiol oil excretions that immediately cause a severe reaction within their skin that results in a rash that will begin to blister. Should Katon be used against this technique, the urushiol oil will become an visibly airborne cloud for 3 posts that will cause the same symptoms within the lungs of whoever breathes in this cloud. After 4 posts, this plant will wither and die with the urushiol oil on the plant drying up. The resulting rash will fade away after 5 posts after last contact with urushiol oil.

~[Flourish Style: Thorn Whip]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the necessary one handed seals or channeling chakra while holding a Jishu seed, the Naegi will focus chakra into the seed and activate it. Once activated, the seed's tip will peel open and expose vegetative matter that will rapidly elongate and turn into a 9 foot long whip covered in thorns. The whip itself is quite sturdy and will last for a total of 6 posts.

~[Flourish Style: Giant Venus Fly Trap]
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming a series of hand seals or channeling chakra, the Naegi will focus chakra into a Jishu seed and activate it. Upon being planted, the seed will rapidly grow outward underneath the ground with 20 as it creates a pair of terminal lobes that are hinged at the midrib, in essence making a massive Venus fly trap directly under the ground. The trap is about 10 meters for each half lobe(or half of the mouth) that makes up the trap and responds to chakra sources that weren't used in their creation. This will make the Venus Fly Trap rip through the layer of top soil it grew under as it closes, crushing things between it's jaws with a Strength of 30. This trap will not distinguish between friend or foe as it only recognizes the Naegi's chakra when it passes over the flower, meaning it will snap shut on the first person/pet/summon/swarm that passes over it(although it will require a large chunk of the swarm given how each individual unit of the swarm is minuscule in it's chakra signature). The Trap itself requires a strength higher than 30 higher to break out of and will remain buried until triggered or until 7 posts have passed by.

~[Flourish Style: Overgrowth]
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming a string of hand seals or channeling chakra, the Naegi will focus on any plant that has their chakra in it. This allows the Naegi to make fully grown plants to violently run wild as they expand rapidly, allowing them to increase cover an area of 30 meters in diameter. This allows them to try and overwhelm opponents with their plants However due to the nature of this technique, the plants will wither within the next 2 posts, however when this technique is used, they expand at a Speed of 30 and anything caught in said plants path will be impacted with a Strength of 20 as they aggressively expand.

Nori watched curiously but vigilantly as the clone seemed to somehow be communicating with the strange plant, which the real Zao then tried to explain a bit to the man which seemed intriguing but ultimately he simply nodded along and just hoped it really did work the way his friend wanted it too.

Unfortunately that did not seem to be the case for after a good short while the vine monster suddenly burst out once more, destroying the clone as it then started to grow and shoot out different appendages and began to rampage which set everyone into motion so that they could tie it down any number of ways.
Though the Special Jounin wasn't fully certain what to do at this point, its not like his attacks early stopped it or anything and though he wanted the matter resolved and everyone put out of danger, he also didn't wish to sabotage his new friend's or the Naegi clan's mission so he did not wish to try and kill it.

Not certain the black clothed man simply pulled out Kamiokuri on instinct and simply began to move and look out for everyone else, then he suddenly got an idea; since everyone was trying to bind it still they needed to be protected and kept safe so perhaps he should become the main target for this plant for the time being and help distract it from all the other jutsu.
With this thinking fuuton chakra began to reverberate down the blade and ultimately he went for a similar strategy from when they faced the shadow demon; with a thrust forward the wind shot out like a long spear whilst Nori himself moved forwards just enough to be within range, hoping to not only hurt it and weaken it but also grab the beast's attention just enough to hopefully stall it from attacking the others and to prevent it breaking free.

Fuuton • Extending Vortex Blade
B-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
The user will channel fuuton chakra into their weapon coating it in a vortex of wind which then shoots out at 20 speed in whatever direction they decided to point their weapon. This thin twister of wind can extend up to 20m or retract back based on the whims of the user and basically acts like a long bladed sword/spear with 20 strength, even being capable of being moved along as it slices through what is in its path. This can be continuously controlled as such for up to 3 posts, however the longer the blade is extended the harder it is to pivot and move in different direction which means retracting the blade first may be a better option.

[Zao]

The golden vine was easily fifteen meters tall now as it's vine like arms were around the same length only much thinner than the stalk of the plant spirit pet now as they wave around wildly in the air. From the seeds that had been planted moments earlier several deep green, leafy vines sprouted along the ground starting to rapidly advance inward from their half circle cordon around the creature. Though each individual set of vines wasn't that strong with over ten separate plants quickly moved to envelop the creature as it started to swipe away at the advancing plants now as a few of the other jounin Naegi who were still holding a hand seal as their Jishu seeds began to grow now. Three large deep red stalked plants began to rapidly materialize and grow stretching up into the air nearly twenty meters before they would finally stop growing, sprouting crimson red petals that started to bloom.

It was at this time that Zao noticed his comrade make up his mind to do what he thought was best for the situation, with everyone currently attempted to attack and bind the creature from afar it was certainly true that their would be the need for someone to confront the beast in mid-to-close range combat. Out of the current group Nori was the only one and as an experienced shinobi he had already took this into account and began to attack as the spear like vortex of wind shot out from his sword landing squarely upon the thick lower vine of the plant's body closer to the desert sand. The body was only scratched as the wind pushed the vine to the slide slightly before the creature over powered the wind and moved completely out of its way now. But the direct attack seemed to cause for the plant to some how focus just upon the young man who had attacked it as it sent one of its whip like limbs of thorns crashing down onto where the man stood at a speed and strength of thirty now.

The white robed youth could only not in approval of his comrades actions and he himself tried to assist in overcoming the creature through the sheer force and number of techniques being forced upon it now. Holding a single hand seal in front of him as Nori attacked the man seemed to gain a faint blue outline of chakra as directly over the creature formed a massive twenty five meter cubed barrier of chakra that was then brought straight down onto the upper vine of the creatures body who had been busy fending off Nori's attack and the many separate plant attacks that had seemingly surrounded it in an attempt to tie it down or suppress the creature now. Caught off guard by an attack from above the creature was pressed down by the force of the barrier for a moment but only for a few seconds as the creature began to push the barrier back up causing a bead of sweat to appear on the forehead of the young man now. "Just how strong is Toge?" He couldn't help but speak out loud as he tried to force the barrier down with negative results...

[Ninjutsu • Descent from the Heavens]
A Rank Ninjutsu
By channeling a large amount of chakra through their body, the user then releases this chakra into an area within 30 meters of themselves. This chakra quickly takes the form of a 25^3 meter barrier, materializing at a speed of 20 in the air above said target before being sent crashing down upon the area with a speed and strength of 30 to crush everything underneath.

Nori thrust as hard as he could with his spear-like wind blade though, just as expected, the plant basically shrugged the attack completely off but in the end the man had achieved his goal of making himself the biggest target which allowed the Naegi clan members enough time to start sprouting their own vines that would hopefully soon start to bind the strange creature.

That being said the Special Jounin was now in a bit of trouble and had to swiftly retract his blade as he made for a hasty dodge roll, almost tumbling through the sand as he used all his strength to get out of the way of the incoming vine which moved at pretty much double his own speed.
Luckily the attack was only coming directly down from above so the lanky man barely escaped this one time as he scrambled back to his feet, though he wasn't sure how far he could push such luck given the speed at which this crazy beast was attacking but then again he was willing to do his utmost to protect everyone else his own safety be damned.

As the black clothed human was scrambling to his feet he saw how a barrier was now pressing down on the plant as red flowers and such began to bloom and entrap it, however the large beast still managed to resist with what appeared with ease and he couldn't help but think if maybe there was more he could be doing and yet his attacks where nothing to it.

Nori's faced momentarily scrunched before his eyes flashed open with a burning passion and in turn he began to dash forward like a mad man, swinging his sword behind him to disperse the wind before sheathing it up so that he could perform a set of handseals as he charged forwards.
Perhaps it was very foolhardy for the kuuton wielding shinobi to do such a thing but he needed to get in much closer so he was with the plant and not in the way of everyone else, plus he felt like at this point he needed to help pile on the pressure and all his other jutsu where so meagre and small time and so he saw no other way to help as he burst out before the crazed being and completed his set.
"Heavenly Subjegation!" the zealous man bellowed, calling out the name of his jutsu as vectors formed in the air above the plant and everything else already pressing down on it.

Once all the vectors formed they then came crashing down with 20 strength worth of force in the hope that they would pile on the pressure, helping to suppress the vile beast as everything else also pressed down and bound it. Normally he was sure the plant was strong enough to withstand this as well but hopefully everything piling onto it really did help.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will gather vectors into a point above them. All things within 15 metres of the user will then be pushed toward the ground with 20 strength for 2 posts. This does not include the user.

[Zao]

The plant's attacks were indeed fast and powerful but they were very linear in style as the plant hybrid was still rather young and even known was constantly learning and better understanding how to best utilize its plant body as it began to struggle some now. It had been able to push back against the barrier but it had to do so with both 'arms' and its body now as the vines and other plant based techniques being used by the Naegi started to mount up finally being slow to ramp up but now they were in full effect as some other plants were growing starting to approach the massive size of Toge now, an impressive feat even for a Naegi. Slowly the plant was beginning to become overwhelmed despite having the superior physical characteristics. Yet, despite knowing that it was being slowly ground to a halt. It was at this time that the creature felt that it was about to be overcome by all the supporting technique with Nori's last technique being like the straw that broke the camels back as it felt itself being pressed down to the ground.

Toge had truly been pushed to its young mind's end and as a result let itself go wild, at least for the next few moments, moving its body on pure instinct alone as it twisted hard to the right and then with every ounce of strength within its golden body began to spin to the left now as the vines, the barrier, the vectors, and other plant techniques found themselves either over powered, knocked back or destroyed in only a moments time now. But as the spinning body of the thorn covered vine began to increase in velocity objects close to the creature found themselves being pulled in with incredible suction power (forty strength). Seeing this happening from outside the edge of the attacks the white robed scholar produced a single kunai and launched it directly at his comrade, a single chakra thread would become visible as he guided the kunai towards his younger comrade now. Afraid that because of his close range that he might be caught in the sudden tornado style attack and its incredible suction power, not sure that he'd be able to help if Nori wasn't able to resist himself but if the kunai could reach the fellow Suna-nin then he would be transported back to Zao's side due to the True link kunai being linked to its original being holstered on the man's leg.

After he did everything he could to help Nori the man instantly focused on the scenario at hand with the twisting and churning tornado of golden thorns that seemed, at least for the moment, to be unstoppable. But what the creature did was ensure that it remained within the same general area which meant that Zao was now able to utilize some of his other tenku in which he had built up some fame in being able to use: realm summoning. The man's right hand had ducked into his white robes for only a moment before withdrawing a set of four realm summoning tags with various fuuin written on each before they were tossed forwards as a chakra string from each finger tip had taken control of the flight trajectory of each realm tag. Using the time in which the plant continued to spin and suck in the plants and debris near it forming a literal tornado in the center of the shinobi's blockade now forcing many to retreat some distance. 'Guess I have no choice but to go this route instead, hopefully I won't have to kill you my young experiment...'

With a light sigh the man's nimble fingers formed a series of hand seals that were more or less a blur to the normal eye as the set of four realm tags that had been spread out equally throughout the half circle perimeter now began to glow a dark red color before a barrier shot up forming a large cube thirty meters by thirty meters now that completely encompassed the creature. Within the formerly dry, sandy environment instantly shifted as the creature found itself in an lake of lave that only had a few places of dark black stone to stand upon with one of those being what the creature was upon. Instantly taking note of the change in area and temperature the creature was shocked back into its normal mind now as it began to shrink down as its large form was to big for the rock it was upon feeling it start to crack away under its weight. For the moment eh creature was stopped in its tracks surrounded by lave as a massive set of hands rose up from four sides around the hybrids platform as an A-ranked creature had been summoned forth along with the lava realm now.

Leaping forward the man made an additional hand seal as he passed effortlessly through the barrier landing on a three meter wide platform as a hint of maroon chakra flashed through his bright blue eyes now, his nose wrinkling slightly at the sulfur like smell that accompanied the realm as small beads of sweat were forming on his skin from the intense heat that could be felt coming up through the dark colored rock at his feet. "Toge, lets end this now before we are no longer able to stop and we are forced to kill you." The white haired man called out to the now five meter long golden vine as it seemed to hear him and his soft voice echoing inside of its mind just like before. Despite not having any eyes it seemed to look across the short expanse that separated it and the shinobi as for the moment it remained unsure what to do now threatened by one of the worse fears aside from death and that being surrounded by literal fire...

Tornado of the Thorns

By spinning rapidly like a top the plant extends its supplementary vines outward creating a vortex of vines around itself and outside the vines a vacuum forms. This vacuum creates a suction large enough to pull everything in a radius equal to their [(speed+strength)/2]/5 in yards at their full strength. This suction is nearly instantaneous and can cause significant damage if living creatures are caught in the area, collapsing their lungs if their (strength+stamina)/2 isn't higher than the adept's (speed+strength)/2. In addition, anything caught in this vacuum will be assaulted by the powerful thorns as well. This can last as long as the user has stamina to keep it going or until disrupted.

The Puppetry Technique is a Ninjutsu technique used by puppeteers. By releasing chakra from their tenketsu, the puppeteer is able to release chakra strings from their finger. These strings are able to move a max of X times 2 meters away, where X is equal to the puppeteer’s control stat. This jutsu allows the puppeteer to attach their chakra strings to inanimate, chakra-less objects at a speed of 10. While an inanimate object is being controlled, it’s treated as if it has a speed equal to the average of the puppeteer’s taijutsu and control.

This allows the user to summon spirits cost free at the cost of one lump sum of chakra up-front.

Pre-Requisite: Charge Fuuinjutsu Concentration and a B-rank Realm Summoning Technique
After placing the necessary fuuinjutsu and preforming the needed hand seals, this technique allows the user to activate one of their B-Ranked realm summoning techniques at the A-Rank level allowing the user to increase the summoned area up to 30x30x20 meters that lasts for 9 posts. This allows the user to summon spirits cost free at the cost of one lump sum of chakra up-front.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra into their body, giving them a slight Maroon glow. For the next 10 posts, whenever they speak, they are able to communicate with Spirits of all sorts, including those inside of jinchuuriki within 20 meters.

Nori held strong and remained firm with his jutsu as he scanned around watching many different plants try and bind the crazed creature and Zao's barrier press down upon it, though it was all soon utterly wiped away as the creature suddenly burst out with power and span around violently which easily knocked the lanky man aside.

Hurt and bruised the dark clothed man stumbled back to his feet when he started to feel the sands shift underneath but luckily he caught eye of his comrade's movements, as such he reached out and grasped the incoming kunai and focused on it causing him to be transported back by his friend's side and to safety.
Though there wasn't much more the Special Jounin could do as he began to regain his bearings, feeling his shoulder and chest where it hurt most as he shifted in discomfort.

However it seemed Zao had a new plan and that it might now be all down to him as he started casting out tags and performing handseals, in turn forming a large barrier and somehow twisting the environment within said barrier so that the land turned to lava with only a few hard surfaces to stand on.
It was all an very interesting spectacle for Nori who watched with intrigue as his friend entered the close doff area and started to confront the crazed plant, which at this point had began to shrink so as not to be in danger of collapsing into the lava.

[Zao]

The bubbles of lava allowed for sparks to be launched a few feet into the air as the white robed man had a few sparks land upon his fine white rob causing a few small holes to be burned in the pristine fabric now as he stared down the plant which had awoken from its former code blade status of attacking wildly and without thinking. This was the exact kind response he had wished to elicit from the creature allowing for it to become more rational in its actions as Zao commanded to lava creature that was beneath the molten rock to break off parts of the small safe haven of rock that the plant hybrid was upon making it so that the creature had an even smaller place to stand forcing for it to shrink down to an even smaller place as it coils up somewhat like a snake in appearance. 'Good...now to make my move.' "I'm coming Toge, don't resist and you won't have to worry about anyone here trying to hurt you." Zao spoke softly in what seemed like a whisper that those outside would have difficulty hearing or understanding without some form of enhanced hearing.

But the plant creature heard the words as they echoed within its mind having been spoken directly to the plant like before with the Tenku technique. Once more it looked in the direction from which Zao had spoken as he calculated the distance between them and the number of places to step though as he thought about it he choose to simply move past them all as he formed a hand seal and concentrated upon the spot directly in front of the creature where their was still some platform to stand upon. 'Tighten...' It appeared as if the young white haired man was about to take a step off into the molten lava but then disappeared seeming to just reappear directly in front of the plant now atop its platform that had been about twenty meters away as he used space-time to tighten the space between the two of them. As the youthful scholar reappeared now his left hand was extended forward as it was visibly wrapped in maroon chakra that was a trademark aspect of Tenku techniques though this wasn't one he had shown anyone before.

A personal technique devised specifically to affect and mold the true soul of a spirit or in this case a spirit hybrid, it would seep into the very soul of the creature and affect it in such a manner that the spirit would see Zao as its master. Becoming completely loyal and dedicated to his commands even to the point of sacrificing themselves if need be to complete the command given to them. This was something almost akin to creating a slave only it was not completely restrictive and allowed for the spirit to retain all its previous personality and memories in the process. After all the man felt that a mindless creature was worthless in a fight as it had no room to adapt or think for itself. The hand surged with chakra that could even be felt by those outside the barrier due to the sheer amount of chakra that it took to activate and maintain the technique. Without a moment's hesitation the spirit puppeteer reached forward and allowed for the chakra laden hand to gently press against he thorny golden vine that made up the plant hybrid's main body now with the tip of the vine pressed into the palm of the hand as a few small thorns drew blood but the Tenku user's didn't flinch only concentrating on maintaining contact with the creature.

Slowly the fear of the man before it began to fade as the maroon chakra flowed into and throughout the entire golden vine now saturating the creature's soul as its demeanor shifted seeing the white robed youth before him as no longer a stranger but somehow this person became the most trusted person in the creatures life. This link took several seconds to truly take hold as the creature seemed to become almost docile before the scholar the link was a special one shared by Zao and the creature he had just bound to himself now. "Toge-kun, come and rest. You've had a long day my friend." The voice was spoken into the creature's mind even though the man never uttered a word aloud being able to communicate mentally due to the strength of the link placed between Toge and himself due to the powerful technique. Slowly the creature began to slither up the man's arm shrinking even further down in size as it entered into a resting state that in the end caused for it to appear like a golden wrap upon Zao's right forearm now. Shaking his head Zao was finally able to relax as sweat drenched his back from the surging heat from the lava and the strain from using the technique itself despite the large stamina pool he had. Forming a hand seal now he dispersed the realm summoning technique now...

"It is over." The man's confident voice sounded off as the realm disappeared and the four tags that had been used to create it burst into flames and crumbled into ashes disappearing as well, where their had once been a lake of lava now returned to the dry sandy soil of the Suna village like it had never happened to beginning. Shifting his gaze to see Nori doing well he couldn't help but smile and nod to him as he let the right arm fall to his size as the wide sleeve fell over Toge covering him from view. "Good to see you are alright my friend." Zao spoke directly to his comrade now as he started walking back to his side while a few drops of blood feel from his punctured palm onto the arid desert sands under their feet.

The user will do a series of hand seals, then focus on a location within 50m in front of them. There can be no obstructions, to include people, in this 50m range. Once they’ve targeted the location, they’ll take a step forward. The space between their current location and target location will rapidly tighten at 25 speed, allowing them to take a single step to cover the distance, then return to normal.

Spirit Claiming • [Supremacy Over the Beast]
S-rank Tenkujutsu
Prerequisite: 40 Control
After preforming the necessary hand seals, the user places their hand over the spirit as they flood their chakra for an entire post. If the spirit has a control stat higher than the user's, then the spirit will resist the claim. However if they do not, they will be binded to the user like contractual summon/spirit companion, and able to be summoned at any time at the will of the user. And have to obey their every willful command. This jutsu is able to place a claim on spirits up to A-Rank.

Nori watched with anticipation as he peered into the barrier from afar, curiously keeping an eye on his friend and the strange plant as some kind of unknown showdown had began between the two. Though the lanky man was certain this type of stuff was not for him at all, it was still very interesting seeing all these powers of a space-time user and spirit wielder combined.

After a short moment it appeared that Zao suddenly moved right close to the ever shrinking plant and then out of nowhere, the lanky male felt a surge of chakra even from this distance as his friend approached further still; the maroon chakra in the white robed man's hands seemed to be really thick as he pressed against the strange creature, somehow calming it down and taming it after mere moments.

Nori was rather impressed over how it all worked as he then watched as the barrier collapsed and along with the lava also faded away, then with a powerful nod and smile his comrade stepped forth and proclaimed that the situation was completely resolved.
The black clothed man couldn't help but nod back with a smile of relief though he couldn't help but wonder what would happen next and in particular wondered what the Neagi clan would think of such a situation, after all their fellow companion and researcher had basically taken this plant monster for himself but then again perhaps they could more safely perform the experiment over for themselves now.

[Zao]

"My friend, thank you for your help. If you ever should need my assistance with anything in the future do not hesitate to ask." As the young white haired man drew closer to his friend under the gaze of the Naegi clansmen who were still a bit stunned that it was all over just like that Zao would cup his hands lightly towards Nori now. In his eyes this young man had become like a younger brother whom he now owed a favor to and in return he gave his words that if ever Nori needed assistance from him in the future that he would be there to help him without a doubt. After all in the mind of the young scholar one was truly only as good as their word. It was then that he turned his attention to the clansman who seemed to be regaining their thoughts as they were unsure what to think.

Turning to either side he already knew the mixture of thoughts of those around the pair as he gave a final nod to his younger but taller friend and then turned on his heels to face the group that began to collapse around him. "We need to head back to speak with the elder now. It seems that we are able to utilize a binding Tenkujutsu on these hybrid creatures." Zao began to explain to a few of the more senior members of the clan that he had worked with, one of them being a fellow Tenku user like himself but even he could understand the level of technique needed to being a power creature that Toge had been. It was a personal technique developed by the Spirit puppeteer but even so due to the level of cooperation he had with the Naegi and the amount of resources the clan had put in he would impart it and methods to downgrade the technique to bind lesser spirits as well in exchange for being able to hold onto the golden vine plant.

"Nori, I must be heading off to take care of the matters at hand. Thank you again my friend. We will have to meet up again soon to celebrate, my treat of course." A carefree smile blossomed on the young man's thin lips as he gave a confident nod to his comrade before settling his mind and circulating some chakra through his legs and feet before bounding off with a number of the Naegi clansmen in tow. The others began to clean up the mess the short battle with the creature had caused to the nearby area along with their own techniques before they would soon begin to depart afterwards. After a moment the leaping man who traversed from building top to building top would disappear back towards the Naegi clan compound now and head to deal with the matter of the spirit pet. Though all the events had greatly deepened his understanding of things and would allow for the future attempts to have near a hundred percent success rate in not only the merging process but also the binding process that would happen immediately afterwards after he changed things with the Elder's permission and help. Also he had gained a new companion....
