Oxygen FlowShow
*[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Simple in its form yet highly effective in practice, the *[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow] technique allows its users to clear obstructed airways, to perform less extensive CPR, and to give cells the oxygen they crave. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest (through the back works as well). By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. In this instance, users must be much more careful, as over-oxygenating cells can cause more harm than good. This technique takes the entirety of one post to perform.

A young looking man, appearing to be in his twenties stood with a handful of other shinobi who were a bit younger than himself, though his shoulder length white hair allowed for him to stand out a bit from the crowd as they gathered around an older man. The man didn’t wear a forehead protector but such things weren’t needed within the place they were located. Today the scholarly looking man had arrived at the hospital and had joined in with a group of chuunin whom were receiving some of their first lessons in the art of medical Ninjutsu, some in the group were even still at the genin level causing for the slightly older man to stand out even more. But the old grey haired doctor didn’t seem to even notice and if anything appeared rather joyous that so many youngsters had turned out to this semesters training.

The group moved into a more classroom like setting, a handful of tables were found within along with a number of basic books on medicine and anatomy were scattered on the tables as the old doctor began to explain a few things about basic medic and first aid. This was to help build the groups basic knowledge and also serve as a means of testing what the basic knowledge level was amongst the group, after some introductions on his part the old man then began to move past simple first and now into something a bit more medical Ninjutsu related. Having the group of med students flip open one of the books on the table he began to speak about how important it was to ensure that the patient was able to receive and adequate amount of oxygen. Stating that the number one cause of the lack of oxygen was something being lodged within the patient’s airway and the first technique was one created to help deal with just that.

Zao observed the man’s hands as a light green chakra began to form a thin film around the outline of the hands before he placed them against the chest of a student, as it was easy enough to see with the naked eye that the individual in question was able to breathe easier than before. As the man performed the technique he went into detail of explaining just how the chakra circulated throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, causing any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions to be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, he stated that the hands could be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. Opening the man’s eyes to the world of Iijutsu as they began to test out the technique for themselves under the supervision of the old man, of course.

Blood ClotShow
*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will begin to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

After a short break from the first period of instruction for the day the man gathered Zao’s group back into the classroom like setting once more, only this time he brought out some bandaging and even a few scalpels. This old man was very detailed and methodical in his approach to teaching the younger students, demonstrating that this was not the first time that the doctor had taught a class like this and was very fluent in the method he spoke and the speed at which the material was presented. After explaining the different types of bandaging the man then went into the different types of bleeding that a patient might be suffering from due to different type of injury: covering capillary, vein, and arterial bleeding. This process wasn’t a bit dry for Zao as a former jounin he was rather familiar with this type of material as on the job one had to rely mainly on him or herself first and foremost in order to deal with injuries. Working on the system of self-aide and then buddy aide, and lastly if one happened to have a medical shinobi with them then they could also put their hopes in that shinobi and whatever skills they had to treat one’s wounds.

Then the older man called out Zao from the group, having already realized through some chatting back and forth through the break that the white haired scholar was not the ordinary student, having noted at that time that the former jounin had already been able to properly use the oxygen flow technique after only having seen it once. This was going to be a test of the man’s knowledge of learning Ninjutsu as he demonstrated a blood clotting method that was a low grade medical Ninjutsu that caused the blood to naturally thicken, ultimately causing for the bleeding to clot. After showing him what he needed to know and telling him how to focus the Iijutsu chakra the old man reached over onto the table and picked up one of the surgical scalpels before cutting a shallow line across the back of his arm.

Which was followed by a thin line of blood starting to rise to the surface as Zao was instructed to use the clotting technique to stop the minor wound, which surprisingly he was able to do after only a few short moments as the right hand glowed with light green chakra at the moment…

Skin SeparationShow
*[Iijutsu • Skin Separation]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Typically used to make the autopsy process smoother, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique separates the skin of the corpse from the underlying muscle. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will slowly move them over the desired area, usually holding them about an inch away from the body itself. As the chakra is channelled through the flesh, it will slowly sink to the final layer of the skin and begin to form a new layer between the skin and the muscle beneath. After this layer has fully formed, the chakra will stay there for four (4) posts, allowing the user to easily separate the flesh and muscle. This non-combat technique cannot be used on living beings as the post-mortem physiology is different from that of a living creature.

The group was given time to leave and got grab something for lunch but before Zao was able to exit the room the old doctor asked him to stay behind, when the junior shinobi had left the man asked for the former jounin to follow him. Soon the pair wound through the first floor of the hospital and descended down to the first basement level were the morgue could be found as there were a couple morticians doing autopsies. Zao wasn’t fazed by the dead bodies and instead looked toward the older man who had been leading him wondering just what he had in mind bringing him down to such a place. It was soon revealed that he wanted to test the man’s chakra control once again, desiring to raise another great medical shinobi within the ranks of Sand shinobi as he felt the young man before him would be well suited to the task.

Zao actually shook his head and was trying to dissuade the man from his ideal, saying that he was only here to learn a bit of the Iijutsu art in order to better complete his concept of being an all-around shinobi who had several different skill sets to fall back on. In the end, the scholarly man was forced to concede for the moment to the pressure of the man as they now turned their attention towards the bodies there were being worked on. Each was an old man who appeared to have died from old age, yet as the former shinobi looked at the two old men he couldn’t help but think back to the loose of the three young chuunin who had traveled with him into the spirit realm on a mission that wasn’t supposed to be nearly as dangerous as it turned out to be. Closing his eyes and breathing out slowly the man repressed the mental images and turned his eyes to the man who was explaining a skin separation technique used to strip the skin from the muscle.

During the entire hour time period the white haired scholar worked to understand the technique and then was actually able to test out his skill with it, focusing chakra into his hands, he then slowly started to move them over the right arm of the deceased man’s body, holding them about an inch away from the body itself. As the chakra was channelled through the flesh, it slowly sank into the final layer of the skin and began to form a new layer between the skin and the muscle beneath. After this layer has fully formed, the chakra there allowed the man to easily separate the flesh and muscle after a few trys.

Burn OintmentShow
*[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A relatively simple and handy technique to have at hand, *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channelled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to small areas of first degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small areas of second degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than second degree.

Zao couldn’t help but smile, as much as he felt that he was here just to learn a few things that would help him deal with the injuries of those whom fought by his sides in a hope to save others in the future, part of him did feel a faint calling to the medical arts. Perhaps there was some truth to what the old man was jabbering on about to the scholar as he finished separating another section of skin from the corpse before the old man glanced down at his time piece and motioned that their time was up and that the two of them needed to return to the rest of the students who should have been returning from their chow break. A short while later the pair of men, one young and one old, emerged from the door to the stairs and cut back across the hospital into the room of eagerly awaiting students who had stars in their eyes about being medic nin for the village.

He couldn’t help but sigh to himself as he looked on at the younger generation and their desire to learn remembering a time when he was just like that, it almost made him want to let out a light hearted laugh but for now he suppressed it and only allowed for a warm smile to emerge on his thin lips. Now the subject matter expert began to move on to a different type of injury, burns. Making a motion to a few of the nurses who had been assisting the man throughout the morning with a single hand gesture, the old man had the helpers bring in a few pieces of separated skin that had been taken off the bodies that Zao had actually helped on down on the first basement level only a short while ago. Causing for the blue eyed man to only nod his head as he saw the teacher make a few hand seals and exhale a weak katon based technique that caused light burn injuries to the skin sections.

Next the man began to follow up with the discussing the four degrees of burn injuries, explaining that this was the first and lightest type of burn injury. Next, after focusing chakra into his hands, the old doctor held them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and worked to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area that would have later happened if it had been living tissue. Being able to provide this soothing relief over small areas of first degree burns..

Chakra StitchingShow
*[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] truly shines. After performing a short set of hand seals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single hand seal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.

Each of the students, including Zao, were able to get a turn or two through at attempting to utilize the specialized burn injury technique that would help them sooth and keep first degree burns from turning into something much worse with blistering and the infections that could come with such things. After some laughing and hands on time the group was settled down by the calm but demanding tone of the old doctor now as he began to once more reset the minds of his young students having them take a couple minute break. Soon the break was over and everyone was back and focused, ready to resume the lessons for today as the man once more brought forth the pieces of separated skin and sat them out in front of the young men and women. Only this time he began to discuss stitching and how one should close wounds properly in order to enhance healing and to help keep out infections from the open wound.

Yet, he began to talk about that there would be time when one was unable to take the time to ready a suture with the proper thread and needle and in the heat of combat when speed was off the essence it was imperative to adapt and overcome the friction of the situation. Thus the next technique that he wanted to discuss with them was born from just such a kind of scenario as the man began to form a short set of hand seals before placing his index finger at the intersecting pieces of skin that lay on the table before him. Then the finger began to glow with light green chakra before the finger began to move slowly from one side to the other as a visible ‘stitch’ of pure chakra began to appear in the wake of the moving finger. This action was repeated a number of times before the two pieces of skin were pulled together with one another and the suture complete by the old man.

Zao couldn’t help applaud the chakra control that this old man hand, it was far above what one needed to use most basic Iijutsu from what the young man could tell just from his powers of observation and it caused him to look forward to just what he would be able to learn from this man. Next it was the students turn as each of them were handed a plate with two pieces of skin on it, allowing time for each of them to practice the unique technique. As they performed the technique a little tid bit was added that it actually drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches active and the stitches weren’t very strong requiring the patient to refrain from any strenuous or intensive moments.

NumbingShow
*[Iijutsu • Numbing]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
This field-oriented technique is used in place of typical anaesthetics when they're not at hand. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place them over a group of muscles. As the chakra is channelled through the chosen area, numbness will begin to creep throughout it, beginning with the flesh before seeping into the muscle below. Small areas of numbness require very little time, while medium-sized areas (equivalent to half a limb) require one (1) post to numb, and anything larger than an entire limb requires two (2) posts of concentration to numb. This numbing begins where the user has placed his/her hands and spreads outward until the hands are removed. The numbness can only cause pain equivalent to being stabbed with a kunai to be nullified. Once numbed, the effects last for four (4) posts before fading.

“That’s all for today my young friends, be here the same time tomorrow and we’ll continue where we left off at.” The old man spoke up, his almost stern voice commanding attention as he did so and the group of young shinobi got up and began to exit as Zao waited until the end to do the same before being brought aside by the old doctor now. “Come make some rounds with me, I know that you said that you don’t want to put your heart into this but with your talent you should at least give it a go.” He spoke in an attempt to twist the white haired scholar’s arm and in the end the man had too much respect for the older generation than to flat out deny such a simple request. A few moments later the pair were walking through the clinic area as a number of patients were already waiting to be seen as the man walked up to the first one who had been placed in a small examination room to be see.

“Let us see….” The man could easily see that the teenager before them had run into a spell of bad luck as he wore the right arm across his chest in a sling as the forearm appeared to be badly bruised to the point that it was quite possible for there to be a break or fracture of one of the bones within that part of the arm. Zao watched quietly, able to tell that the civilian was in a bit of pain from the injury that he’d sustained doing whatever he was doing. However the old doctor stepped forward and his hand began to glow with a soft light green hue as he reached out to take hold of the injured arm causing for the patient to flinch slightly in pain but after a few moments one could see that the pain from the injury was beginning to lessen to an extent: to the point it was no longer overbearing. “You see Zao-san, the flexibility of Iijutsu and its special chakra has many different capabilities. Much like normal ninpou.”

“Indeed, you were able to utilize your chakra, funneling the chakra through the area of the small injury causing for it to slowly become numb and dull the pain he was feeling. Though it appears to take a bit for this level of medical Ninjutsu to seep through both the flesh and the muscle to reach the injury.” His sharp eyes had evaluated the man’s performance, able to piece together what had happened just based on the actions taken and the resulting body language from the young teen setting down in front of the two men at this point.

Medical DiagnosisShow

Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.

“Very observant, yes I use the nature of medical chakra while altering its properties just slightly causing for it to number the pain of a patient in the area my hands passed for a short period of time. But let me show you something a little more in depth now so pay close attention.” A gentle smile seemed to find its way onto the old man’s lips as he glanced over from Zao and back onto the patient before them both before the hand that was over the injury began to glow with a light green color but to the man’s experienced eyes the chakra was a bit different then the last time. It almost seemed as though the chakra was swaying about under the control of its creator as the hand lightly found a resting place upon the numbed bruised spot of the teenager’s arm.

This was something that Zao would not allow for his brilliant blue eyes to look away from, the chakra was actually starting to act like an internal extension of the doctor’s hand in that moment. Moving around very slowly and carefully within the injured limb as the old man was feeling for any abnormalities or other issues that couldn’t be seen from outside the body, able ot determine the problem in depth after only a short period of time and concentration. “What did you discover?” There was a curious side to the traveler as he wanted to know if there was more to the stranger’s injury than what he could see from looking at it from the outside. But in turn the man only replied with one sentence, “Try for yourself and tell me.”, there was a gentle laugh that managed to escape from the old man’s bearded face in that moment as he gestured with a single hand to try.

The man’s almost glowing bright blue eyes shifted down onto the injury as the patient was a little confused about what was going on in the moment but could only nod in silence as Zao approached and asked, “May I?” With the permission given by the younger male the Ninjutsu specialist began to shape and alter the kind of chakra within his body as a soft green mist of chakra began to envelop the right hand now which hovered over the injury. Slowly the chakra began to seep into the skin and muscle, ending up all the way down in the bones of the patient as Zao slowly and carefully guided the chakra around feeling the slight break within the two bones that made up the forearm in that moment which caused for his eyes to widen just a bit.

Skin GenerationShow
*[Iijutsu • Skin Generation]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Often utilized by medical-nin to heal small, superficial wounds or for producing excess skin to use in skin grafts, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique has its number of uses. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel it into a small area of skin cells on the patient's body. This chakra will force the skin cells to multiply at an ample rate by confusing this area of the body into its reconstruction stage that is achieved during slumber. As this is a type of regeneration, users must keep in mind that each cell draws from nutrients in the patient's body, and as such, too much can cause serious harm. In order to regenerate medium-sized areas of superficial wounds, it takes one (1) post of concentration. Areas smaller than this take considerably less time. In the case that the skin sample is separate from the body, the cells can be multiplied more quickly than they could be otherwise. These types of samples are generally use for skin grafts. “Not bad, this is why I’m telling you that you should focus your skills on Iijutsu and come to work for me my young friend.” Zao only smiled and shook his head at the old man’s continuous prodding of him about becoming his apprentice and a future doctor here at the main hospital within the Sand village. Perhaps that was something that could happen when he retired from being a shinobi far in the future but right now the man was most solely focused upon training a multitude of different skills that would aid him in the future for as soon as he completed this last step of preparation he would request to return back to his former role as a jounin. The man had work to do with the Scribes as well which had kind of stalled since his departure and traveling that had encompassed a handful of years already, though that was about to come to an end as he once more needed to focus on what was best for the village and not just his own goals and desires.

The pair shifted their focus and the old doctor finished treating the injury before the pair moved into a nearby room, within the room there was a patient in a bed that had one of his arms wrapped in gaze but the wrapping had been loosened and it allowed for the two men to see that the injury appeared to be a burn that had damaged the first couple layers of skin. Taking the lead, the old man walked up and began to converse with the young man about the injury and the circumstances of how it occurred. They would come to find out that the boy had been working on his katon technique when an accident had occurred causing one of the techniques to explode to soon resulting in the injury. It was common amongst young shinobi to have injuries while training Ninjutsu as their control and methods were normally a bit crude and underdeveloped. But the old man didn’t speak a single ill word or tell the boy to be more careful and simply went about what he did, treating the injury by first using the burn ointment method that he’d taught to the class of students a bit earlier in the day.

Then he moved into something new, as he did so the man began to explain just what he was doing in detail to Zao. Explaining how to channel medical chakra into a small area of skin cells on the patient's body, in turn this chakra would force the skin cells to multiply at an ample rate by confusing this area of the body into its reconstruction stage that is achieved during slumber. Then he left a small portion of the burn for the white haired scholar to begin to learn the technique for himself…

Basic AntidoteShow
*[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: User's averaged Instinct and Control stats must be 10 or above
A useful, but particularly taxing technique, the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique] is performed on poisoned patients. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will make a small incision (with a knife, scalpel, etc.) on the patient and then place his/her hands over the new wound. As this chakra is channeled into the body, it extracts the poison out of it and into the user's palm. After one (1) post of the extraction process, the user will remove his/her hand, and place it over a container of some sort (anything that can bear liquid). From here, the liquid poison will be ejected from the hand along with the remaining chakra that was used to extract it. As this chakra interacts with the poison over the course of a second post, its molecules will be rearranged to form the antidote for the poison in question. This works only on C-Rank or lower poisons. The antidote takes a total of three (3) posts to fully rid the body of the poison.

It took a few moments for the scholar to ‘feel’ what was right in regards to how the chakra needed to be manipulated to mess up with the skin of the patient whom he was helping to treat at the moment but then, right before his bright blue eyes, the small remaining patch of damaged skin began to shrink at a slow but noticeable rate. Within a few more moments the new skin had overtaken the arm and it appeared almost completely healed, but healing a superficial wound that was just on the skin level would always be much earlier than trying to heal an actual wound. Having treated the only two patients that had come in so far this afternoon, being a truly slow day for the hospital, the old man began to converse with Zao asking about just what was his true reasoning for wanting to take the time to learn about Iijutsu.

Zao began to speak a bit about his past as a shinobi and that conversation led up to the events that had taken place within the spirit realm, while the details about where the accident had taken place and the lives of his comrade was lost what stuck out the most to the old man was that the former jounin had asked about treating different poisons. The old man had to admit that he wasn’t overly skilled in the subject matter, something that was a bit difficult for the experienced man to do but he rebutted with the answer that he could introduce him to one of his colleagues that specialized in just such a thing. This caused for Zao’s eyes to almost shine, the death of two of the young chuunin due to the venom of the two snakes was something that was painful to witness, especially when one wasn’t able to do anything to help them and could only watch them die. The though made the man sigh to himself quietly as about five minutes later he was introduced to a man who didn’t appear to be too much older than him. Leaving the two young men the old man walked away as the scholar began to explain why he wanted to learn about poisons and poison treatment methods.

The new expert expressed a great deal of excitement as few people wanted to study the difficult subject that was the identification of and treatment of poisonous substances, thus the two began to discuss the basic process. After the discuss the man injected some scorpion venom into a small mouse before then going through using his chakra to actually remove the poison, before placing the poison contained in the chakra coating the hand into a glass vial. The chakra interacted with the poison over the course of a minute or so, causing for its molecules to be rearranged in order to form the antidote for the poison in question. How useful would this have been that day…?

Imperfect CureShow
*[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
Formulated to work in conjunction with the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], *[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure] extends upon the antidote created in the aforementioned technique. Once the antidote has been concocted following the description of the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], the user will begin to channel additional chakra throughout the antidote to make it especially potent. This increased potency not only rids the body of the C-Rank or lower liquid poison that was in the body over the (3) posts it takes to work, but also induces an immunity in the patient which lasts for seven (7) posts.

Zao’s bright blue eyes remained glued to the small vial that contained the dark green poison within as the remaining chakra had already begun to turn the poison itself into the antidote for the scorpion’s sting on the tiny rodent. The poison in the end transformed to a blueish looking liquid within the vial as the chakra from the Basic Antidote technique completely faded now, the poison expert reached over to pick up the small test tube and held it up in front of his face, adjusting his glasses with the other hand as a confident smile had already formed on the man’s skinny face. “Through the antidote technique, we are able to transform the very poison into the antidote to cure the poison the patient is facing, though this was done so easily because this is a very weak poison and isn’t one capable of killing a human.” Sato, the young man’s name, went on to explain the different way poisons were ranked within the medical system which had borrowed their ranking system from the way missing-nin were ranked.

On that scale, this scorpions sting barely made it into the C-rank category as what explained by Sato and it caused for the scholarly man to think back to the princess serpent. Just what rank would her poison be? Perhaps in the future he would have to bring some for the poison expert to analysis in order to find out just how she stacked up against poisons within the human realm. They now had the antidote but there seemed to be a gleam in the doctor’s eye, as though he wasn’t quite finished yet as he turned his gaze back onto Zao. “Having the antidote is sometimes not good enough, depending on how long the target has been afflicted by the poison or even how strong the poison is to begin with. Thus often we will utilize the next technique called the ‘Imperfect Cure’. “ An outline of green chakra formed around the man’s hand as it was carefully being channeled into the glass tube which would make it especially potent.

But this technique did much more than that, aside from increasing the speed at which the antidote was able to work at within the body it would also induce immunity in the patient which lasts for a short period of time. This would be exceptionally useful against an enemy, human, animal or spirit, who used poison to repeatedly attack their target with. Next Zao was allowed to work at learning the technique under the guidance of the poison expert who helped to keep him on the right path…

Blood TransferShow
*[Iijutsu • Blood Transfer Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
A simple technique that requires its users to sacrifice a little to save a life, the*[Iijutsu • Blood Transfer Technique] does exactly what its name suggests. To prepare for this procedure, the user must make a small incision into the patient's body and follow by opening a vein. Once the vein has been open, the user will begin to channel chakra into it. Over the course of one (1) post, the patient's blood will gain density and stabilize itself. Users of this technique must be aware that their own blood will dilute over the duration of this technique, as it is essentially transferring blood from their bodies to the patient's. No more than 1 liter (2 pints) of blood can be transferred using this technique without severe repercussions for the user.

Extracting the poison and then enhancing the antidote that the original technique created was actually the first time since starting the medical training class that the man had felt that he needed to actually control his chakra to some degree, since the man's chakra control would be rated amongst the top of nearly anyone else in the village at this time. But it actually made a smile appear on the man's face as he realized that in the future as he trained this technique and pushed it towards being able to deal the with the level of poison that Apep had that there would no longer be a need for one of his comrades to suffer in pain with no hope for aid only a painful death. They could be prevented, this young man who was only a bit older that himself had given him a spark of insight and motivation for the future that he had been lacking since returning with Nori from the spirit realms and meeting the old traveler briefly. It was nearly an hours worth of time before the old doctor returned to find to the two young men chatting happily about things pertaining to the art which was the removal of poison and poisons themselves as Zao planned to hopefully use his snake summon's venom to coat weapons that he would use in battle in the future, as well.

"I wondered if you'd still be here, seems that you two have a few things in common. How about you come on a few rounds with me? After all it's already evening and you should probably be headed home after that." The old man spoke with a smile, even though he couldn't get the white haired youth to be interested in his preferred fields of medicine at least he'd been able to capture some of the shinobi's attention with the poison guy who pretty much lived down here on the first basement floor. It wasn't long after the old doctor was taken away the young man that the two managed to arrive on the third floor of the hospital, through a bit of chatting that happened between the two along the way he had learned that the man wanted to take Zao out of the medical class and just have him study with himself and few other doctors, to include the poison expert too, instead of wasting his time with the beginning classes. This was actually something that Zao had wanted to bring up to the man before but he also wanted to be sure that he understood the basics of everything to do with Iijutsu.

The pair moved into an observing room for a surgery that was currently underway, though as they entered the old doctor had a slightly uncomfortable look upon his face as the patient seemed to be bleeding to much. Quickly the man moved as Zao followed in tow without a word, with a swift and precise motion he stepped up to the table and made a small incision into the patient's body and follow by opening a vein with a scalpel. Once the vein has been open, the doctor begin to channel chakra into it as he used his own to help stabilize the patient, after the patient was stable the old man looked a bit weak as he began to explain the process and control on needed, also informing him the cost of using the technique and the need to be careful...

Burn TreatmentShow
*[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
A step up in the ability to treat burns, *[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to medium-sized areas of first degree and second degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small-sized areas of third degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than third degree.

Soon after the incident the man spoke for a short while with the old doctor before finally leaving the hospital late in the evening, returning home to write down some of the things he’d learned today about the art of Iijutsu and even of the two men that he’d met today as well. He had always been a very meticulous researcher and this was mostly done out of habit in case he ever had a question and needed to look back into his past notes for the answer in the cases that he wasn’t able to look for the old doctor directly. It felt like a blink of an eye and once more the young white haired man could be found entering the hospital doors around seven thirty in the morning where he was greeted by one of the nurses who told him that the old man would be waiting for him on the second floor today and that he should hurry to meet him. Thanking the woman he then walked with a purpose ascending the stairs as he soon found just the man whom he was looking for moving from one room to another doing his daily rounds.

Just as the two entered the next room they saw a familiar face, it was the same young shinobi as yesterday who had the tiny burn injury but it would seem that he didn’t learn from the small mistake that he’d made the day before and had come back with a burn that was a bit worse. There was even a slight sign of embarrassment on the kid’s face as he noticed that it was the exact same two people who had treated him for the burn. Even Zao couldn’t help but let out a light laugh as the doctor and him began to first assess the wound and were able to quickly determine that the burn injury was a bit worse than the day prior. The white haired student began to heal the wound as the older man began to walk through how to alter the chakra while also increasing the amount a bit in order to help treat the slightly more extensive burn wound.

The chakra flowed into and around the burn, it cooled the area and worked to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area before it was wrapped with some burn dressing. This slightly more advanced version of the technique was designed to address areas of second degree burns and even small spots of third degree burns as well, Zao was truly learning something new around every corner here at the hospital under the old man’s tutelage.

Zao was truly learning something new around every corner here at the hospital under the old man’s tutelage it seemed as he helped to add the special burn dressing to help ensure the wound would heal up properly. A couple minutes later the genin was sent away with new bandaging upon his arm and the two moved to another room down the hall were there was already a nurse helping a chuunin out who lay upon the table. From the way he was dressed the and features of the young man he could already tell that he was from the Naegi clan, if one were to see the reason why he was here it might be difficult to understand but having some working with the clan before he already understood and shook his head lightly.

Lodged in the man’s body was a number of small spines that were a bit thicker than cactus needles but smaller than a senbon, they could be found mainly no his right side. “I see, so it was that kind of plant that got you.” The young chuunin looked up and saw the white haired male, actually recognizing him from that day that Toge had been created in the underground chamber of the clan. “Yes, they are great for security but don’t differentiate between enemy and friendly.” The old doctor sat down and began to look over the exposed wounds that were in the arm and leg as the nurse continued to remove the ones that she could from the skin with a pair of small tweezers.

“Zao come observe this, while she is able to get most of the spines out there are some that have broken off down in the wounds. If we don’t remove them then the young man here might end up with an infection or worse depending on what kind of plant he got these spines from. This is a technique used to remove foreign object gets lodged into a patient's body, such as what we have here.” After focusing chakra into his hands, the old man’s wrinkled hand were then placed on either side of the wound and from here, the medical-nin began to use the chakra to carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues by channeling chakra into it, coaxing the foreign object to the surface of the wound in order to extract it. Soon Zao also joined in as the three began to help deal with all the lodged spines that numbered around twenty or thirty...

Soon Zao and the two other in the room had completely finished taking care of the wound the old man stood up, though he seemed a bit weak and the young man could guess that old age was catching up with the man’s stamina and he probably needed to rest for a bit. The old man looked up and turned his slightly weak gaze onto the young man and could tell that his bright blue gaze had noticed his state, a simple nod was exchanged between the two and not a single word as the white haired man turned to leave after bidding the young clan member a good day and to rest up. The nurse would take care of the rest and with that the scholar walked down the stairwell ending up on the first basement layer from the day prior as he managed to find the young poison expert after a few minutes of looking around. After the pair of young scholars exchanged greetings they once more returned to the large room that looked like some type of laboratory in which a number of vials and beakers were spread out along the shelves around the walls of the room and a number of glass holding cages held a number of venomous or poisonous species.

He started out by going back over the basic antidote and the imperfect cure techniques to ensure that the former jounin understood how the chakra worked with the poison in question. This was because the techniques were the two building blocks for which the poison Iijutsu treatment pipeline. Though before there were to go further into the next level of techniques he began to discuss the situations where one didn’t have the time or the availability to conduct the normal antidote technique on a patient, much like the situation there were within back in the spirit realm. The man brought forth a large rodent about a foot in length which he then injected with some of the same scorpion venom as he used the last time for consistency. The poison master began to explain that in the event that creating an antidote is not possible, users of this technique can still help their patient fight off toxins, infections and other foreign bodies.

Skin IrritationShow
*[Iijutsu • Skin Irritation]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
One of the few offensive techniques found within the spectrum of Iijutsu, *[Iijutsu • Skin Irritation] is utilized in close quarters by medical-nin. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will wait until the opponent is close enough to make bodily contact. Once this happens, the user will attempt to touch the opponent on an open area of flesh. The moment contact is made, the chakra in the hand(s) that made contact will be forcibly channeled into the opponent's body and begin to irritate the skin. In the first post after making contact, large, itchy, red hives will erupt in the area of contact. During the second post after contact, they will spread throughout that entire limb or body part. In the final post of its spreading duration, it covers the entirety of the opponent's body and the itching lasts an additional three (3) posts after this is completed. Although the itching stops, the hives will remain tender (like a sunburn) until medical attention is received.

“I thought that I might find you down here still, seems like you two are almost like peas in a pod” The that Zao was using and the focus of the other young doctor in the room. He had just finished the technique as the older man entered to room and at the moment he allowed for himself to set back up straight from the chair he had been seated within while using the cleansing technique. The aged voice of the older doctor cut through the silence in the room from the amount of concentration being utilized between the two and lightened the serious mood now as Zao and the poison expert turned giving the man a nod and smile at the words that he’d spoke to them both simultaneously. “I thought that I might find you down here still, seems like you two are almost like peas in a pod” The that Zao was using and the focus of the other young doctor in the room. “I’ll have to steal Zao-san away from you for a bit now. There are some more advanced techniques that we’ll be learning today my young friend. Bidding his friend goodbye the white haired jounin would return to the work place of the old doctor now. “What will we be learning today?” The scholarly man had already grown accustom to the personal tutelage of the old man, truly interested in just what he’d be able to learn today from the experienced medical shinobi. Without missing a beat the man had already prepared some skin samples in the room that the pair walked into and he began to explain that the technique that he’d be using first was called the ‘Skin Irritation’ technique. One of the few offensive style techniques in the arsenal of the medic-nin, the man watched carefully as the old man first touched the skin graph after channelling chakra a special way into the said palm. Upon contact the chakra was then forcibly channelled into the tissue as large, itchy red hives began to form upon the area of contact.

“That looks painful.” Zao mused allow as the old man removed his hand and started to explain the exact manner in which the recently reinstated jounin would have to manipulate the medical chakra in order to have it react in such an offensive manner. The usefulness and versatility of the special sea foam green chakra that was the trademark of a medic-nin was truly had a deeper set of uses that the Ninjutsu specialist had first thought. The technique took the man a number of tries to truly draw out the offensive nature of the medical chakra, but after about half an hour of tinkering with the technique he managed to finally achieve the basic results that he wanted.

Burn HealShow
*[Iijutsu • Burn Heal]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Burn Treatment]
Yet another step up in the ability to treat burns, *[Iijutsu • Burn Heal] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to large-sized areas of first degree and second degree burns it's fairly quick to do. For medium-sized areas of third degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. Lastly, for small areas of fourth degree burns, it also takes one (1) post of concentration due to the very delicate nature of this type of burn.

The technique took the man a number of tries to truly draw out the offensive nature of the medical chakra, but after about half an hour of tinkering with the technique he managed to finally achieve the basic results that he wanted. “How interesting, I wonder what other techniques can achieve with this type of chakra manipulation done to the normal Iijutsu chakra…” He was quietly musing to himself at the results that he’d managed to achieve with the technique so far before the man pulled away the tissue sample that he’d been working on with Zao. The second sample that was in the room was now rolled over to the pair by a young nurse who was helping out today; the skin tissue had obviously been burnt. Yet, this was probably the worst burn that he’d seen during his short time working within village’s hospital as the old man’s assistant and his bright blue eyes took a few moments to evaluate the blackened skin and the red swelling around the darkened skin that almost looked like leather in a few small spots.

“A truly powerful katon technique must have been used to cause these kinds of burns, I’d say that these wounds are at least third degree burns with a few spots approaching the terrible forth degree.” Zao shook his head light and was silently glad that this was just a constructed injury on created tissue and not something that he had to treat in the treatment rooms. He could only imagine the amount of pain such a burn wound would have caused to its recipient. Yet, he also knew that in the future he could very well be called upon to treat an ally of just such a type of injury like this so he turned his gaze back to the old man who started to speak. “We will be building upon the Burn Treatment technique you recently learned, focus your chakra like this and increase the output by about forty percent when compared to the previous technique. “ As the man spoke he was able to easily channel chakra and speak with his other hands beginning to describe the technique and how to properly use it.

Following the step by step instructions of the old doctor now, being corrected twice just in the channeling phase of the technique, Zao finally began to channel chakra into the technique which was able to provide soothing relief to the large area of skin affected by the burn injury. While it did not heal the area it helped to cool the area and prevent harmful scar-producing blistering at the same time.

Chakra ScalpelShow
*[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Perhaps one of the most dangerous and revered Iijutsu honed by medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] is non precision instrument. After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will begin to focus an ample amount of chakra into his/her hands. Once charged with chakra, the user will attempt to place his/her hands on the target. If the user is able to connect the entirety of his/her palm, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body, slicing tissue, organs and veins up to 4 inches from the surface in an area roughly the size of the user's hand. The skin remains unblemished by this technique, as it only causes small to moderate [internal[/i] wounds. As this technique is dangerous and mostly uncontrolled, the precision needed to kill instantaneously is lost. The chakra used in this technique is highly visible when first activated and emanates from both hands for a duration of three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made.

Zao was one to carefully observe all the details in order to make a series of mental notes that he’d be able to transcribe into scrolls later documenting his progress and the methods through which he was able to learn how to manipulate medical chakra. But he had truly not learned how to actually heal anyone aside from helping to treat burn injuries, there were simply so many different kinds of supplementary techniques one needed to learn and master at the basic level before they could proceed on to more useful and chakra intensive techniques. “Not too bad, my young friend. You truly are a quick study when it comes down to your control and understanding of chakra.” A simple nod and a few words left the mouth of the aged man standing off to the scholar’s right side now who had been observing the methods of his young apprentice.

As the white haired jounin turned to him giving a nod in response his mind was still pondering how to improve the techniques that he’d learned so far over the past weeks’ worth of training and hands on training. The old man mentioned something about teaching him another offensive style technique now that the shinobi was become much more familiar with creating and manipulating the medical chakra and with that he led the young man down into the morgue area in the basement. As soon as the pair descended down the flights of stairs the air temperature dropped rapidly and soon the ninja was able to just barely see his breath as the warm air from inside his body was expelled into the cool air that surrounded the two. There was a body on the table and without even explaining anything the man formed what appeared to be dark blue chakra in the right hand before placing the palm down onto the skin of the deceased body.

Yet, nothing appeared to happen as the old man removed his hand without even a blemish visible upon the top of the skin leaving it to appear that nothing had happened but Zao knew the man well enough that he wouldn’t fail in using any type of medical Ninjutsu. Instinctively he placed his palm atop the same spot and let his chakra flow down beneath the skin of the body and the result that he felt caused for his bright blue eyes to widen a bit in surprise, he could feel where the chakra from the old man’s hand had caused internal wounds. Shortly after the old man laughed a bit and began to explain to Zao how the technique works, the ‘Chakra Scape’ technique before guiding the young man through the beginning steps into learning the technique now.

Paralysis RemovalShow
*[Iijutsu • Paralysis Removal]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
This handy technique is used in cases where patients have suffered temporary paralysis somewhere throughout their bodies. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will apply them to the affected area and begin to channel chakra through the muscle tissue. As this chakra interacts with the temporarily lame muscle tissue, it will restore natural mobility to the area. Areas as large as an entire limb will take one (1) post of concentration to release, while releasing half the body from paralysis will take two (2) posts, and finally, to undo the entire body from paralysis, it takes three (3) posts of concentration. This technique is only effective on paralysis caused by jutsu or certain poisons.

Dark blue chakra had formed in the right hand of the white haired jounin now before placing the palm down onto the skin of the deceased body which the old man had, soon after the chakra faded and the old man casually assessed the body, a success on his fifth try. “This can be a rather powerful technique but to use it in battle is truly a hard task, but as medic-nin we truly aren’t the ones to specialize in fighting after all. Let us take out leave from this sad place and do some rounds this morning before lunch arrives.” The pair had been down in the morgue for a while at this point as the morning was already starting to slip away and they still needed to cover down on the sick call and normal appointments that the hospital had. With a nod from Zao the experienced doctor took the lead as he led the pair back up the flights of stairs as he was able to once more feel the warm from the desert returning, the feeling of home for the shinobi of the Sand.

Soon the pair found themselves on the 2nd floor of the treatment wing as a number of patients that aged from the young to the old where in the waiting room and some were already being assessed in treatment rooms now. They were walking down the pristine looking hallway the old man was looking at each of the patient charts until he stopped after seeing the words written down on one of them, reaching out he took the chart in hand and motioned for his apprentice to follow him. The pair entered the room to see a middle aged man with some bandaging on the undressed left arm that was being supported with the right arm and a makeshift sling. “So you are experiencing some paralysis in your arm?” The old man spoke out as he looked over the charts and the man nodded before explaining that he’d been stung by a small scorpion while helping tend to the Naegi gardens.

“I see, the venom does have that effect some time. Let me see here…” Removing the bandaging and holding the stiff arm in his hands the man seemed to be assessing the level of paralysis created by the poison. Green, mist like chakra began to form around the hands holding the arm as the old man began to explain to his young apprentice how one could cause the chakra to interact with the temporarily paralyzed muscle tissue to restore mobility to the area. Soon both men were working on the limb and after about five minutes the entire limb was returned to its normal level of mobility.

Bone RegenerationShow
*[Iijutsu • Bone Regeneration Technique]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Although simple to explain, the *[Iijutsu • Bone Regeneration Technique] requires both skill and patience in order to mend the fractured or broken bones of patients. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will begin to channel it through the area of the break or fracture. As this chakra makes contact with the bone, it will stimulate the calcium production of the body and begin to mend the bone. To mend small-to-medium breaks, it takes one (1) post of concentration, while fractures are usually very quick to mend. Multiple breaks can be mended during the use of this technique as it lasts for a total of five (5) posts or until canceled. Users should beware that, like other regenerations of this kind, the nutrient stores of the patient's body are being depleted during its use, and too many uses of this technique in a short span of time can cause serious damage.

With the man’s normal level of mobility now restored the older doctor stepped back and allowed for his apprentice, Zao, to finish treating and removing the small amount of poison that remained within the man’s body before then proceeding to bandage the small wound created by the scorpions sting. After all of that was complete the two men wished the middle aged man a good day and then left one after the other now and proceeded to help a handful of patients as it drew closer to noon during the process. Just as they were about to head down stairs from the treatment wing to take a break for lunch now the nurse in front of them was distracted by the paperwork within her hands and missed the first step. This in turn caused for the nurse to take a hard tumble down the flight of stairs before ending up sprawled out upon the landing.

Hearing the fall Zao had turned from speaking with the older man about some of the cases they’d treated today and with a flash demonstrated his amazing speed by disappearing from sight only to reappear down on the landing helping the woman up from the ground. A sharp cry of pain as the man went to help her up revealed that she’d injured her wrist appeared to be possibly broken from the force of the fall. The slow steps of the old man could be heard now as he seemed to be in no hurry to come to the young nurse’s aide, instead allowing for the white haired jounin to do so. “You young ones are always in a rush, huh?” It was almost like he was making a statement and question towards both of them at the same time seeming to shake his head towards the pair before extending the frail looking, wrinkled hands now.

His touch was delicate as chakra seeped into the wrist and in merely a moments time he had assessed that she had a small fracture, “Zao, watch carefully.” The trademark misty green chakra formed around the right hand of the old man and then the chakra began to seep into the woman’s wrist. Zao was quick to act as hit finger tips also touched the woman’s arm allowing for his chakra to flow into her wrist in order to analysis just what the old doctor wanted for him to see. Before his very eyes the small fractures were mending back together and after a few moments they were completely healed as though the injury had never happened. “What did you think?” Zao shook his head, then began to question the old man about how the technique words in order to stimulate the calcium production of the body and begin to mend the bone. He began to explain how to perform the technique as the pair chatted back and forth bidding the woman goodbye and heading to get something to eat, Zao’s treat today.

Intermediate AntidoteShow
*[Iijutsu • Intermediate Antidote Technique]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]; user’s averaged Instinct and Control stats must be 25 or above
Just as its basic form, the *[Iijutsu • Intermediate Antidote Technique] is a useful, but particularly taxing Iijutsu performed on poisoned patients. This works only on B-Rank or lower poisons. The antidote takes a total of three (3) posts to fully rid the body of the poison.

The had just pasted the halfway point high in the sky above head now as the white haired shinobi stepped out of a small food stand where he’d enjoyed a bit of food with the old doctor who spoke with him about a number of things related to the treatment of patients and the art of medical Ninjutsu. His older mentor said for him to head back to the hospital as he had a few things to take care of before he would be back. Giving a wave of his hand as he headed out, Zao would soon find himself back at the short set of stairs that led up from outside the large building and as he walked into the door the man nearly ran into the young poison expert whom he’d been speaking with earlier in the day. “Zao-san, perfect timing, I was hoping that we could continue working on your poison removal skills with this new rank B poison that I just extracted from a desert viper.”

The almost nerdy looking individual pushed up his glasses a bit, unable to contain the excitement that was held within him due to the new poison he had to study and that he was able to also teach his friend, as well. Zao laughed as he was dragged along down a flight of stairs off the main lobby of the hospital and he once more found himself within the poisonous and venomous exhibit that had species lining the walls. On the main table in the center of the room was a tiny snake only about two feet in length and appearing to be as thin as a pencil with tan stripping, this was the desert viper and on the table was a tiny vial with a blueish colored liquid within it. And also on the table was a white furred mouse laid on its side, it appeared that the rodent had been bitten by the viper or had the venom injected into it. “Try it.”

His poison technique instructor only said those two words and without any hesitation within his movements the man stepped up retrieving a scalpel to make a small incision before his hand began to glow with the misty green chakra. This poison felt different as he pulled at it with the chakra beginning to extract the poison out of the small mouse now, then the poison expert set an empty vial out on the table to help Zao whom was slowly pulling out all the poison that he could. Before finally placing the hand above the glass container and allow the poison to be ejected into the empty vial and injecting more chakra into the blue liquid causing for it to be slowly changed on the molecular level. In time the dangerous substance would be changed into an antidote for this vicious poison now.

Adept CureShow
*[Iijutsu • Adept Cure]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure] and *[Iijutsu • Intermediate Antidote Technique]
Like its predecessor, this jutsu has been formulated to work in conjunction with the *[Iijutsu • Intermediate Antidote Technique]. Once the antidote has been concocted following the description of the *[Iijutsu • Intermediate Antidote Technique], the user will begin to channel additional chakra throughout the antidote to make it especially potent. This increased potency not only rids the body of the B-Rank or lower liquid poison that was in the body over the (3) posts it takes to work, but also induces an immunity in the patient which lasts for seven (7) posts.

In time the dangerous substance would be changed into an antidote for this vicious poison now, the chakra reacting with the venom from the desert viper still as the bright blue liquid that was close in color to Zao’s own irises. But before his very eyes the blue liquid began to shine with the influx of chakra within it from the Intermediate Antidote Zao had used in order to extract the venom from the rodent a short while earlier before it had been placed in the container. It took about three minutes worth of time for the chakra to completely finish reacting with the dangerous substance turning it into a light green liquid now. If the man was to reinject this into the mouse this altered liquid would be able to fully rid the tiny body of the rodent from the effects of the poison. Though the young poison master didn’t want for the jounin’s test to be as simple as that now and as the long, white haired prepared to take out a needle he felt a hand touch his arm.

“Not yet, the venom of the desert viper is a rather special one when compared to other snakes. If you miss even a single drop of the poison the patient can and in ninety percent of cases does relapse. “ So turned to glance at the glasses wearing man now, making sure that he wasn’t pulling his leg at this moment in order to break his focus but the serious look on the medic-nin’s face was enough to tell Zao that he was dead serious about this. “Do you remember the ‘Imperfect Cure’ technique that I taught you a few days ago? You’ll need to use this but on a higher level in order to increase the potency of the antidote you’ve managed to create.” The man lightly bit upon his bottom lip in thought about the poison expert’s words now, then would quietly nod to him before returning his full focus back onto the antidote vial that was sitting on the counter before him.

Both of the man’s slender hands came together almost like in a prayer-like fashion, before misty green chakra began to envelop the pair of hands for a few moment, Zao was focusing and molding the specialty chakra. Enriching and channeling it into the right hand before that hand was placed over the antidote and channeled throughout the antidote. This excess chakra caused for the bright green liquid to glow as the chakra flowed through every molecule. It was this additional chakra that would push the antidote to the next level in that not only would it rid the body of the poison but it would induce immunity to the patient, as well. This would keep the patient from ending up right back on their death bed…
