[Plotboard] Throw Wide The Gates

Post by Tsedas » Tue Sep 17, 2019 7:37 pm

The sun was beginning to dip past the horizon, a sheet of bluish-purple colors pulling itself across the sky as slowly as the sun traveled. In the fading evening, the sky was a cascade of colors and all was quiet within the streets of Sunagakure. Many people were returning to their homes, most of the shops were closing up save for the rare few that catered to the night owls among the populace. While patrols were not an uncommon sight for those who went out at night, nor were the occasional pedestrians, it was odd to see a tight knit group of shinobi wearing cloaks. Moving with speed and purpose, this obscure group made their way down any street, side way, and alley that brought them closer to their destination. They moved silently as if they themselves were merely dust in the wind.

They are traveling quietly for some time until they come upon a residence that is dark, save for the lights in the front room. There had already been a notification given to this late night visit. Two shadows seemed to be sitting close together as the group got closer, but instead of looking in the window, they merely approached the door and knocked subtly. There was a silence before they could hear shuffling and the door opened to so the dimly lit features of Ishikawa Isshin. There was a brief exchange of dialogue before a sullen Isshin nodded his head, pulling the door open as he stepped aside.

A rather distraught Ishikawa Yui sat on a small couch and looked concerned about the visit, yet not quite on the verge of tears. Both proud parents were visibly upset but made no moves to stop the men as they entered and started to ascend to the second floor of the home. The one in front placed a hand on Isshin's shoulder as their eyes met. "He's doing a great service to the village. It's unsettling and possibly frightening now, but you'll see the service he is doing for all of us soon." Isshin sighed heavily, nodding his head before the hooded man took his leave to go and joined the others.

The announcing of the hour being at hand had Hanzo nervous as he wiped his sweaty palms against his pants, trying to be subtle about it. He wasn't in control of the situation and it was causing his anxiety to flair up, never liking to lack a sense of control over something, anything going on around him. But here he was, being lead underground by a cadre of hooded figures as they descended a wide set of stairs. The only sound that filled the young Genin's ears as the soft pitter patter of their feet as they moved quickly into the bowels of the village before arriving outside a large set of double doors. Standing on either side of these doors were a pair of similarly hooded shinobi with weapons, seemingly standing guard as a third figure stood front and center.

Tall in figure and adorned in robes that were black in color with obvious signs of red throughout locations, a man with weathered features that showed his many years under the Sun. His silver hair was swept back, a beard crawling along his chin and jawline sporting the same color. "Ishikawa Hanzo?" His voice was like a trumpet in the quiet anti-chamber. Hanzo visibly swallowed before nodding his head. The old man seemed to get a twinkle of amusement in his eye from something but it quickly faded before raised a hand and waved off the escort. The assembly of hooded figures not standing guard outside the room turned and started to ascend. "My name is Mikado Akihito, I'm one of the Council members of Sunagakure. I trust you know why you've been brought here?"

Hanzo seemed to have a moment of difficulty finding his voice. He had known he'd be getting the Genma placed into his body, but he hadn't expected a Council member of the village to be present. Clearing his throat quickly, Hanzo began to speak as he tried to sound confident but it came off a little too shaky. "I'm to become the jinchuuriki of the Heavenly Genma."

Akihito almost felt a twitch at the edge of his mouth but suppressed it as he nodded. "Heaven, not Heavenly. And you are correct, you are to become the jinchuuriki. Calm yourself, follow the instructions you are given and it should be over in no time. Understand?" Hanzo could only nod at the mans words while trying to straighten his back up. He could have swore that his teeth would break if he clenched his jaw any harder when Akihito turned and opened the door into the sealing room.

Giving him his first glance into the room, Hanzo was expecting something far more terrifying and gruesome awaiting him behind the doors. Instead he was greeted, and ushered, into a room full of bustling people all working with haste to finish the elaborate fuuinjutsu scrawled across every inch of the room. Allowing his eyes to wander across the ceiling, it wasn't until a gentle hand placed itself on his shoulder that his eyes met with another person. The smiling features of a young woman, possibly in her mid-20s caught his eye before she spoke and motioned towards the center of the room.

Resting at the heart of it all, within the very center of these elaborate seals were two things: A padded futon large enough to allow him to recline comfortably and a small table with an ornate pot resting on it. The pot looked old, ancient a more accurate descriptor, and covered in various fuuin tags that seemed to seal it shut from prying eyes. "When you're ready, lay on the futon and we shall begin." Hanzo didn't even look to the speaker and just nodded.

Walking over, the Genin climbed atop the cushions and lay on his back. His eyes stared at the ceiling once more as he tried to slow his racing heart. Without turning his head, he cast sideways glances to the people around him as they all started moving into their positions and the doors were closed. Akihito loomed by the doors and watched with a face like stone as the many shinobi involved in the sealing all sat on the cold stone floor in the middle of focal points of the large fuuin seal that covered the room.

"Try to relax Ishikawa-kun, this should be over shortly."

Hanzo let his gaze return to the ceiling before he closed his eyes and started practicing his breathing in an effort to stay calm. He almost jumped out of the futon when he felt a brush trail across his stomach but avoided letting himself get worked up or open his eyes as someone continued to draw a fuuinjutsu seal upon his body. After a moment, the brush was lifted away, leaving the wet feeling of paint across his stomach before he heard a few words that made him swallow hard.

"Let us begin."

There was the sound of shuffling that reminded Hanzo of hand seals before a glow started to fill the room. Opening his eyes, he saw a multi-layered barrier had been erected around him with a maroonish hue to the chakra. He was locked in this space. The men around him were all seated in their focal points while one man stood nearby with the sealed pot as he started to break the seals carefully. When the last seal broken, the lid of the pot rattled fro a moment before it seemed to flash and arc up towards the ceiling like lightning before freezing in place as it shifted into a dazzling crystalline structure that resembled a tree devoid of any leaves.

The man standing with the center circle with Hanzo was caught off guard at first but composed himself quickly. Shifting his way over to a focal point, he started forming hand seals while smiling at the Genin, his age quite visible on his face. "Worry not boy, the Genma is a show boat." As if on cue or spurred on by these words, wisps of vapor sprung forth from the pot and swirled around the barrier. Hanzo watched the display with wide eyes as he watched the structure of a pillar change from stone to metal, some of the torches lining the wall went dark before the crack of ice hitting the floor signaled a change in their composition. Tree roots started to grow through the cracks in the brickwork but several shinobi lining the room not directly involved in the sealing process started to hastily cut them back before they displaced the bricks and broken the rooms Fuuinjutsu.

"Oh my my! They do love sending me young boys to play with. When will they learn I'm not into that kind of thing?" The voice came from all around and seemed to giggle. The vapor started to shift as one cloud became like water, another like fire, a third like sand, and the forth seemed to change into what looked like a cloud pulled from the sky. The four elements gathered before swirling together. Is if stepping through a portal, a pair of legs slipped out and seemed to take up a sitting position on some invisible surface as the rest of the elements formed into ribbon like structures spiraling up from the legs to form a rather odd looking body and a bald head with empty eyes.

The ribbons on the body started to spiral open and reveal daylight, a blue sky, even clouds rolling out like mist. At the center of this strange gateway resting within the beings torso lay a singular red orb, almost like a heart. Light poured from the eyes and even seemed to blink a few times as they settled on Hanzo. "So you're to be my host? Maybe you'll be something to look at when you grow up, certainly not much now. How abo-!!!"

The strange entity was cut off as several hands clapped and maroon colored chains burst forth from the seal on Hanzo's stomach and quickly shackled the being. "I WAS TALKING!" The being bellowed loud enough for the room to shake as if it was struck by an earthquake. Vines rapidly grew from the walls and lashed towards one of the sealing shinobi but were intercepted. A large metal spike started to materialize over another but barriers erected around each of the sealing shinobi for their protection. This act saved another shinobi as lava seemed to drip from the ceiling between the cracks of the bricks.

"Ishikawa! Don't move!" Akihito managed to yell out before the multiple shinobi started to form another series of hand seals and the chains tighten their grip and started pulling the Genma towards Hanzo. Its form shifted and shrank, breaking apart as if it was attempting to broke from the chains but in the end it's physical form started to enter the seal on the Genin as this intense feeling, like his body was being set on fire at the tiniest molecular level, caused him to scream out in pain. His wide eyed pained voice filled the room as some people winced but kept their hands in their respective seals until things were clearly finished. His screams lasted for a moment before he felt his vision go white and his mind sink away into unconsciousness.

When the room went dark and quiet, the barriers faded and the glow of the Tenkujutsu went with it. Fresh torches were brought in as a medical shinobi joined the leader sealer in assessing the Genin's condition. Fussing over the unconscious boy, the medical shinobi went through a series of analytic checklists while the elderly sealing expert appraised the fuuinjutsu that had been placed upon Hanzo. With a glance to Akihito, the elderly fuuinjutsu expert nodded to the Council member.

The Genma of Creation was now sealed within it's new host.
