[Training] Road to Kazekage

Kira had always been fascinated by the concept of physical strength. She knew that, as a shinobi, strength was essential to her survival. She had spent years mastering the art of combat, but now she had to take things to the next level after one night drinking in a tavern a large, muscley man insulted her.

"Look at this little twig of a girl, shinobi sure are weak these days" he said arrogantly as he flexed his biceps, sexy girls and and even a guy or two handing off of his other arm and surrounding him like a little fan club. Kira hadn't been that crazy about her strength but she couldn't lose to a smug bastard like that. Pissed off she did something stupid and challenged the man to an arm wrestling match... over her entire months wage.

He accepted, pretty sure he would win... and in honesty that was true. In her current state Kira wouldn't win. She'd kill two birds with one stone becoming a strong shinobi and beating this smug bastard though and was smart enough to give herself a months worth of time.

Queue training montage.

You're the best... around... and nothings gunna ever bring ya down, you're the best...

The music in the gym was blaring as Kira did her workout. She lifted weights, did push-ups, pull-ups, and all manner of exercises to strengthen her arms. At first, progress was slow, and Kira found herself struggling to lift even the lightest of weights. But she was determined to succeed, and every day she pushed herself harder. At the Gym she had made new friends and learned things she had never been aware of. A rather buff dude named Buddy explained to her that arms weren't enough- shoulders, core, and even legs gave you the ability to grip yourself down to the floor harder and create more torque and resistance in your entire body.

As a result, she did lunges, supermans, squats, and a lot more. Alternating between the parts of her body each day as she trained with intensity. After weeks of training, her beginner gains were clear. Her arms grew thicker and more defined, and her grip strength improved dramatically. She could now lift weights that she couldn't even budge before, and she felt more powerful than ever before.

On this day Kira started her weightlifting session with a few warm-up exercises. She began by stretching her arms and legs to loosen her muscles, then did a few sets of push-ups and sit-ups to get her blood flowing. Once she felt warmed up, Kira moved over to the weight rack and began to lift.

At first, Kira struggled with the weights. She could barely lift the smallest dumbbell without her arms shaking, and even that was a challenge. Now... she could lift stuff over her head with one arm. Perhaps it was her chakra-enhanced physiology or perhaps she was a full out fucking natural but she had grown to incredible levels. With this newfound strength, Kira pushed herself even harder in the gym. She increased the weights she was lifting even more, adding more and more weight to the barbells and dumbbells. She worked on her form, perfecting her technique so that she could lift even heavier weights without injuring herself.

Every muscle of her had become toned. Her butt could hold a stool. There was so much muscle that even the stool got muscle when she did so. Her legs- they'd grown powerful enough for her to push against a sumo and hold her ground. She was now breaking past the jounin level and growing closer to legendary strength.

As Kira continued to train, she began to feel her body breaking through its limits. She could lift more weight than she ever thought possible, and her muscles were growing bigger and stronger every day. She felt like she could take on the world.

Finally, the day of the arm wrestling match arrived. Kira walked into the bar with confidence, feeling ready to take on that over-sized steroid pumped beefcake. She'd make him piss himself infront of his whole crew. As she eyed around the bar she saw a huge, muscular man sitting at the arm wrestling table, flexing his biceps and grinning arrogantly.

NOTHIGNS GUNNA EVEAAAA BRING YA DOWN, YOU'RE THE BEST, AROUNDDDD

She hummed to herself as she pointed at her eyes, then to the man, then to a table. No words. The pair both moved over to the table, Kira's muscles bulging beneath her tank top. She locked eyes with the man, and they both grabbed hold of the arm wrestling grip. The man grinned, thinking he had an easy victory, but Kira was ready.

She flexed her biceps, feeling the power coursing through her muscles. With a sudden burst of strength, wind flew out from the table around him as she slammed the man's arm down towards the table. At the last moment he caught himself hovering centimeters from loss as he screamed, literal steam flying out his ears. He began to pump her arm back to the neutral position with each and every breath. Sweat covered both their brows.

Kira let loose a laugh as she grinned and centered herself and her own breathing. Her legs dug into the ground below her, her butt broke the stool. With all her damn power she pushed her arm downwards as the mans buckled and went straight into the table, smashing it to peices.

Standing to the bar errupting in cheers and the "my table!!!" cry from the bar keep, Kira would grin triumphantly, flexing her muscles and basking in her victory. She knew that she had worked hard to get to this point, and that her strength was a result of her own hard work and dedication.

"You can put the table on.. and the stool.. and the floor I guess on this idiots tab since he owes me a months wage. Later losers!"

She said as a guitar riff played off like some gameboy color game rival.

[Training] Road to Kazekage

Post by Taiga » Mon May 08, 2023 7:35 am

Kira took a deep breath as she stood at the starting line of the "World's Most Dangerous Race," a brutal and deadly competition held annually in the most treacherous terrain in the ninja world. The air was thick with tension as the other competitors, some of the most skilled and ruthless ninja in the world, stood around her, all eager to claim the prize. Her father was very against her participation in this race. He once had a legendary student that was like a brother to Kira, and in this race he fell from a cliff and was presumed dead. They never found his body.

Lined up at the starting line Kira looked to her left and right. To her left was the mysterious Shinobi X. To her right, some guy called Snake Abura, leader of a bunch of racers. They all had little wingies on their sandals. Hmph.

As the starting signal was given, Kira shot out like a bolt of lightning, determined to stay ahead of the pack. She weaved through the dense forest, dodging trees and boulders with ease, her training in the Sand Village paying off as she moved at a breakneck pace. But she knew that the race was far from over, and that the true danger was yet to come.

As she approached a narrow canyon, she saw that several of the other racers had already arrived, and were scrambling to find a way through. Kira's eyes scanned the cliff faces, searching for any handholds or footholds that she could use to climb her way through. But as she made her way up, one of her opponents suddenly appeared, jumping up and grabbing hold of her ankle. It was one of the Abura guy's crew mates. He flew up over the ridge and ahead of her, followed by Shinobi X who was so graceful he managed to flip over the Abura crew members without even engaging them.

Kira gritted her teeth as she kicked out, sending her attacker flying backwards. But as she continued to climb, another racer suddenly appeared, throwing a kunai directly at her. Kira reacted quickly, using her chakra to leap sideways and avoid the deadly projectile.

"Nice move," the other racer sneered. "But you won't be so lucky next time."

Kira said nothing, her eyes fixed on the task at hand as she continued to climb. The canyon was just one of many obstacles in the race, each one more dangerous and treacherous than the last. But Kira was determined to win, to prove to herself and to the Sand Village that she was one of the most skilled ninja in the world. Running from cliff top to cliff top and leaping she wasn't able to catch up to Abura and Shinobi X.

Suddenly she eyed a shortcut. If she was able to jump fast enough she could make it into a small hole that seemed to go through one of the canyon walls at the point it thinned. Leaping for the wall she managed to barrel through only for the ground to give way beneath her foot. Stumbling she nearly would of fallen for her death until suddenly, a hand grabbed hers and pulled her up. It was Shinobi X.

He said nothing as he emerged out the other side of the wall and continued forth for the canyon. Nodding, she wondered just who Shinobi X was and continued through, doing a few more cliffs until she reached the end of the canyon.

As she finally emerged from the canyon, she saw that the landscape had changed again. Now they were in the middle of a vast desert, the sun beating down on them with merciless intensity. The sand was hot and sticky, making each step a challenge as they raced towards the finish line.

But Kira was not alone. Her opponents were still close behind, and Abura was ahead of her and as she ran, she saw that several of them were using illegal jutsu to gain an advantage. One ninja was using a wind jutsu to create a tailwind, while another had conjured up a mist that obscured the path ahead.

Kira gritted her teeth, summoning all her strength as she ran. The heat was oppressive, the sand sapping her energy with each step. But she refused to give up, to let her opponents win. And as she surged ahead, she could hear the other racers shouting and cursing behind her.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, she saw the finish line in the distance. With a burst of energy, she sprinted forward, feeling her muscles straining and burning as she gave it her all. Abura growing afraid attempted to cast a jutsu- but that was his mistake. It made him slower, and deftly, she shouldered into him. He was off balanced and fell over as she continued forward and crossed the finish line, she collapsed to the ground, exhausted but victorious.

Her opponents gathered around her, their faces filled with respect and admiration.

"You're one tough ninja," Shinobi X said, offering her a hand up. "I've never seen anyone run like that." She questioned how she had beaten Shinobi X... he had been ahead of her... Unless he let her win? Confused, she was still proud of what she had done today.

She had faced some of the most dangerous challenges in the world, and emerged victorious. And as she walked away from the race, she knew that she had proven herself to be one of the strongest and most skilled ninja in the world. Kira smiled, feeling a sense of pride in her accomplishment, said back.

"Well, I guess I had some help!" with a wink to Shinobi X who did not stick around for the trophy stand. He disappeared, like the mystery he was. Pops came running up at the end and asked Kira who the mysterious shinobi was. She could do nothing but shrug, raising her arms and giving a quisical look.

"He felt familiar somehow" pops said.

[Training] Road to Kazekage

Kira had always prided herself on her speed. But lately, she had been feeling like she had hit a wall. After having met Fanho of the Leaf she knew she was not enough... That even for her strength the gap between her and a kage was huge. This left her in constant anxiety. No matter how hard she pushed herself, she couldn't seem to get any faster. She knew she needed to change something in her training routine if she wanted to break through her plateau.

After consulting with her mentor, a retired shinobi who had trained many successful ninja in his day, Kira came up with a new plan. She would start by focusing on her form and technique, making sure that every movement was efficient and precise. Then, she would gradually increase her speed and endurance through a series of progressively harder drills and exercises. Kira started her training by working on her running form. She focused on keeping her shoulders relaxed, her arms bent at a 90-degree angle, and her stride length even. She practiced running on her toes, using the balls of her feet to push off the ground with each step. She also worked on her breathing, syncing her inhales and exhales with her strides to maintain a steady rhythm.

Next, Kira moved on to more intense exercises. She did a series of sprints, pushing herself to run faster and faster each time. She ran up hills, powering through the incline with strong leg muscles. She did drills that required quick turns and changes of direction, honing her agility and reaction time.

Despite the intense workouts, Kira never lost her focus. She was determined to push past her limits and become faster than ever before. Her muscles burned with exertion, and she was drenched in sweat, but she kept pushing herself.

Days turned into weeks, and Kira could feel herself getting stronger and faster. She was running at speeds she never thought possible, and her endurance was better than ever. But she knew she still had more work to do.

Kira decided to put her newfound speed to the test by competing in a local race. It was a 10K run that took place on a rugged course through the forest. The race was known for its challenging terrain and fierce competition.

Kira arrived at the race feeling confident and prepared. She had trained tirelessly for this moment, and she was ready to show the other racers what she was made of. But as she looked around at the other runners, she could see that this was going to be a tough race.

There were several seasoned runners there, all of them looking strong and focused. Kira also noticed a few shady characters, who she suspected might be cheating by using jutsu during the race. But Kira didn't let their presence intimidate her. She knew that the only thing she could control was her own performance, and she was determined to give it her all.

As the race began, Kira took off with a burst of speed. She felt strong and powerful, her muscles working in perfect harmony as she ran. She kept her focus on the trail ahead, dodging roots and rocks as she weaved through the forest. She remembered her training. Each breathe was timed carefully with each step, maximizing her power and she rocketed forward.

But as the race went on, Kira started to feel her energy flagging. The other runners were keeping up with her, and she knew she couldn't afford to slow down. She dug deep, summoning all her strength and determination, and pushed herself even harder. The course became more treacherous as they went, with steep hills and muddy terrain. Kira gritted her teeth and pressed on, feeling her heart pounding in her chest. She could hear her own labored breathing, but she refused to let it slow her down. As they approached the finish line, Kira could see that she was neck-and-neck with another runner. He was a burly man with thick muscles and a fierce determination in his look. He managed to overtake Kira in the final uphill sprint towards the finish line... and Kira had lost.

She couldn't let this destroy her and pushed through managing to take second place, but it seemed she was not going to be the fastest shinobi alive, not any time soon.

After several days of rest, Kira returned to her training regimen, determined to continue improving her speed. She spent hours each day focusing on her form, perfecting her breathing, and building her endurance. She ran up and down the dunes of the desert, pushing herself to go faster and faster each time.

Kira felt her muscles burning and her lungs working hard to keep up with her pace, but she refused to give up. She knew that the only way to become truly great was to push herself beyond her limits. And she was determined to do just that.

As the days passed, Kira began to notice that her hard work was paying off. She was able to run for longer periods of time without getting tired, and her speed had increased significantly. She felt like she was flying across the desert, her body moving with a fluidity and grace that she had never experienced before. She may have failed, but she would not be a failure. The words of Kenji resonated in her head.

Kira, losing one battle does not lose the war. Every experience builds up to a greater victory. Know this and harness your failures to power you.

She wished Kenji was still around to help her... but unfortunately that was not the case. Finishing her current run she made her way to her house sipping water the whole way. Would she ever truly be able to master her body and become powerful enough to not only protect the village, but lead it? She let out a huff. Things were difficulty.

Either way though, she had wound up faster than when she started.

[Training] Road to Kazekage

Post by Taiga » Wed May 10, 2023 8:32 am

Kira was meditating at the temple when she heard a loud commotion. Stones that had been floating around her lost their touch- gravity falling as they hit the ground her gravitational hold was released. She stood up and walked outside to see a hooded figure running away with a small, ancient artifact that was supposed to be protected by the temple's monks. The temple monks though were on the ground, senbon in their necks, out cold. Quickly confirming they still breathed Kira quickly realized that the figure was a shinobi, a trained ninja. She knew that she had to act fast to catch him before he got away with the artifact. Kira sprang into action, racing after the shinobi as he fled through the temple's halls and out the door.

The shinobi was fast, but Kira was determined. She chased him through the narrow streets of the nearby village, dodging vendors and pedestrians as she pursued him relentlessly. The shinobi was agile, leaping over rooftops and darting down alleyways, but Kira was hot on his heels. When he went up, she went below, and the two chased like a cat and mouse in beautiful harmony despite being in an act of violence.

Finally, the shinobi reached the edge of town and started running through the rocky terrain. Kira followed, determined not to let him get away. She could see him up ahead, heading for the canyon. If he was able to make it to the canyon the chances of her catching him would greatly increase. Biting her lip she pushed her speed as chakra flooded her body.

This, is beyond shit.

As they entered the canyon, Kira knew that she was getting closer. Before her was the shinobi running along a narrow path that clung to the side of the mountain. She pushed herself harder, her breath coming in short gasps as she closed the distance between them. But, just as Kira was about to catch the shinobi, he suddenly turned and faced her, throwing several shuriken at her. Kira barely managed to draw her blade and deflect them as she skidded to a stop as the shinobi leaped up onto a ledge and disappeared from view.

Kira knew that she couldn't give up now. She took a deep breath and sprinted forward, determined to catch the shinobi and retrieve the stolen artifact.

Her heart pounding with anticipation and the sun beating down on her, casting a warm glow on the jagged rocks surrounding her. She had been training for months, pushing her body to its limits to become faster and stronger. And now, it was time to put her skills to the test. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was a ninja, dressed head to toe in black, his face concealed by a mask. Kira tensed up, her muscles coiled like a spring. The ninja brandished a small artifact in his hand and sneered at her.

"You'll have to catch me if you want this," he taunted. He seemed to be having fun playing with her. To Kira though, this was insulting. She swung her arm forward as her gravitational force increased and became a "pull", pulling her opponent inward towards her. The man was caught off guard, but disappeared as a stone took his place and a puff of smoke. He waved from up on a cliff above the small pathway they had been running in.

Without a word, Kira launched herself into a sprint, her feet pounding the dusty ground beneath her. The ninja was fast, but Kira was faster. She felt the wind rushing past her face as she ran, her heart pumping in her chest. She could see the ninja up ahead, darting between the rocks with lightning speed.

As they ran, the ninja began to reveal his true abilities. He was no ordinary thief - he possessed ninja techniques and jutsus that allowed him to move with incredible speed and agility. Kira was impressed, but she didn't let it deter her. She knew that she had to stay focused and keep pushing herself to be faster.

The chase led them up into the mountains, where the terrain became treacherous and steep. Kira's legs burned with the effort of climbing, but she refused to slow down. She was determined to catch the ninja and reclaim the artifact. Suddenly, the ninja lunged at her, his hand flashing with a small blade. Kira dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding the strike. She retaliated with a quick kick, but the ninja was too fast, leaping out of reach.

They continued to fight, each exchange faster and more deadly than the last. Kira found herself pushed to her limits, her body screaming with fatigue. But she refused to give up - she had come too far to let the ninja get away.

Finally, they reached a narrow ledge overlooking a deep ravine. The ninja turned to face her, his eyes gleaming with malice.

"You're too slow," he hissed.

With a sudden burst of speed, he darted past her, the artifact clutched tightly in his hand. Kira lunged after him, but it was too late - the ninja had already disappeared into the shadows.

Kira stood there, panting and exhausted, watching as the ninja disappeared from view. She knew she had lost the battle, but she refused to let it break her spirit. She had pushed herself to her limits, and she knew that she had become faster and stronger than ever before.

With a sense of pride and determination, Kira turned and began to make her way back down the mountain. She knew that there would be other battles to fight, other races to run. But no matter what challenges lay ahead, she was ready to face them head-on, with all the speed and strength she had. Who was this mysterious shinobi? Would they meet again? If they did, Kira resolved to herself that he would stand no chance against her.

Next time, she would make sure she could beat him without her Chikara or any other gimmicks.

[Training] Road to Kazekage

Post by Taiga » Sat May 13, 2023 2:42 am

Kira stood at the edge of the desert, looking out at the vast expanse of sand. The sun beat down on her back, and the wind whipped her hair around her face. She took a deep breath and began to run. As she sprinted across the desert, her feet pounding against the sand like thunder. She felt the wind in her hair and the sun on her face. She was free. She was running. She had become quite use to this feeling and it was in many ways liberating. Her time outside the village let her reset her mind as she ran.

Kira ran for miles, until she could no longer see the village behind her. She was alone in the desert, but she was not afraid. She knew that she was strong. She knew that she could run. She ran until she could run no more. She collapsed on the sand, her lungs burning and her heart racing. She had never felt so alive. She had never felt so free. As she laid there for a moment, catching her breath she stood up and looked around. She was in the middle of the desert, but she was not alone. She was surrounded by beauty. She was surrounded by life.

Smiling, her eyes shining with pride. She had found her speed. She had found her freedom. She would still need to keep training harder like this every day though if she wished to become the Kazekage. Her speed would need to rival the Kazekage themselves.
The next day Kira continued to train her speed. She was already one of the faster jounin in Sunagakure. With her abilities she was able to run faster than any of her opponents, and she was able to dodge and counterattack with ease. Her speed gave her a great advantage in battle, and she was able to protect her village from many threats. With her skysword especially, her speed meant all that much more than her ability to do anything else.

Today, Kira would confer with a mentor of hers, a former kunoichi named Yuuko. Yuuko was a former Jounin known known for her incredible speed and wind-based attacks. She helped Kira to train her speed and to develop her own unique fighting style. Particularly, Yuuko focused on aerodynamics. She lectured Kira on her form and using her chakra to "cut through" the air and surpass what was humanly possible. With training she showed Kira to not only move like the wind, but with it. And in other training she showerd he how to minimize the winds effect on herself when she could not run with it, but must run against it.

When Kira came to understand this physical truth of their world, Yuuko set up Kira to race against her student, Kaku. The race would test Kira's speed and her strength. It would also test her determination and her will to win. It was on a windy day nearly a sandstorm. Kaku was a phenomenal shinobi with speed, grace, and skill with a speer.

As Kira was determined to win the race. She trained harder than ever before. She pushed herself to her limits. She was ready for the challenge. Lined up at the starting line, next to Kaku, the jutsu fired thunder off into the air signalling that the race had begun. Kira sprinted out of the starting gate, determined to win. She ran as fast as she could, her feet pounding against the sand like thunder. Kaku was right behind her, but Kira was determined not to let him win.

They ran through the desert, the wind and sand whipping around them. Kira could feel the muscles in her legs burning, but she kept running. She refused to give up. Kaku was gaining on her, but Kira dug deep and found the strength to keep going. She ran faster and faster, her body moving in a blur.

They ran through sandpits and valleys, the wind and sand battering them. They were both exhausted, but they kept going. Finally, they reached the finish line. Kira crossed the finish line first, a few steps ahead of Kaku. She had won the race!

Kira collapsed on the ground, exhausted but victorious. She had done it. She had proven that she was the fastest kunoichi in Sunagakure. Kaku congratulated her on her victory. He was a gracious loser, and he knew that Kira had deserved to win.

The crowd cheered for Kira, wherever they had come from... to be honest she had not expected there to be a crowd. Yuuko would approach her congratulating both her disciples, nothing that both of them were a source of inspiration for her village. She showed them that anything is possible if you set your mind to it. Better yet, Kira was quickly becoming an example of what putting maximum effort into training and bettering ones self could result in.

"How did I do?" she said as she raised an eyebrow. Yuuko said "Not fast enough if you want to be Kazekage... but not half bad..." she said with a wicked smile.

Kira continued to train and grow stronger. She eventually would make sure she became the Kazekage, though she had no idea what her and the village would be instore for. The night passed and the next morning came, and like always, Kira went for her morning jog and did her training. After a lunch and a relaxation she would continue to her training, running under the deep desert sun and preparing herself.

She had much more to do and many more actions to complete in her training but she knew that she would be able to do this. Wiping the sweat from her brow and with the cool desert wind at her back she would run until sunset, the wind carrying her at her back like a second wind. This was what running was about.

This was what it would take to be faster than the legendary ninja who came before her.

1009 for speed
