A slender young man with snow white hair slipped into one of the handful of training areas with the Dasu compound as a bright full moon filed the clear night sky almost causing his hair to appear to glow. Standing in the center of the dusty ring and simply closed his eyes, slowly inhaling the cool night air, his control over his power in this new body was better but he knew he wouldn't be able to utilize any of his signature styles or techniques and so he needed to forge a new path for the time being. For he still didn't understand the reason why fate or destiny had drawn his soul back into this realm and into the body of a Suna shinobi no less. Was this some sort of whispers of fate of a cruel punishment from the divine? The man was still cloudy on the possible reasonings and needed to keep at least some sort of low profile until he found his footing here in this world again.

Thankfully the Dasu chuunin had already set out on the path of training of a Spiritualist so Zao only needed to continue down that path: the path of possession. "How interesting..." Taking a seat on the deck he focused on one of his own spirits tucked away with his personal realm, a place he dared not to access for fear of being exposed. Forming hand seals, the man was encompassed in a thin film of maroon chakra. "Gogyou, come to me" The voice of what sounded like an old man echoed in Zao's thoughts as a response, 'Yes master.' From his personal realm the wood dragon was summoned through space and time as the rejuvenating chakra of the spirit flowed into his very core and mixed with himself until the two had become one in the young boy's body.

A wooden horn began to sprout from either side of the youth's head spiraling up into points his eyes changed from blue to a maroon hue. He could feel the special Mokuton chakra from the spirit mixing with his own. "What a unique feeling..." As a spiritualist the man knew the feeling of spiritual chakra that all spirits possessed, but the man himself had only ever been possessed once, but that had been against his will and the feeling was the complete opposite. That previous experience had been another reason the man hadn't ventured down this path out of blatant fear, honestly. But things would be different this time...

This merger allows Zao access to two concentrations and two jutsu styles of the spirit for the next 10 posts.

"This is very different, let me see..." The white-haired youth looked at his arms, a texture similar to bark could be seen in a few places, reaching up he felt of the woodened horns that were formed from two or three smaller branch like twigs that had twisted together, it even felt like his body had even grown a few inches taller and thinner from the transformed state. His spirit companion mind and his own linked together, being the first time, he'd conducted such a merger the information flooded into his mind causing him to blank out for a second. "What a strange sensation..." Zao couldn't help but to mutter aloud to himself in this desolate training ground as it was if he had just learned something about the wood style used by Gogyou, but he felt an urge of caution as he was tempted to employ the style here, even being by himself.

That was because the style was also linked to a clan within the confines of Konoha, the Senju, and even though he had never openly used Gogyou and his wood ninjutsu it was something that he didn't want to draw the attention of the wrong people could come around asking to many probing questioned about the origins of the spirit. "Dismiss..." Exhaling slowly, he dismissed the chakra of the spirit, releasing it from his body and allowing it to return back to its place within his home realm, much to the sad look of the spirit as it was forced to depart from its master so suddenly, having hoped to stay longer. Almost like a pouting child he reluctantly returned and now the man felt he had a better grasp on the technique and began to form hand seals again, slightly altering the flow of chakra to more effeciently draw in the chakra of the spirit with his own.

"Hiryuu, your turn." He whispered seemingly to himself as what seemed like small flames of maroon chakra from the Tenku technique enveloped the man's body funneling the dragon spirit into his body, upon the merger the man once again seemed to grow taller, probably by about six inches this time. Finger and toe nails elongating slightly and curving downwards to a point as sleek, metallic grey scales began to form across his body and parts of his face. Two wooden horns, thicker and longer than those of the previous spirit sprouted from Zao's head and twisted around each other to about a foot and a half in length. A slender dragon's tail grew from his lower back and slipped out from under his kimono top as his eyes gained a golden hue to them glowing briefly before setting in to a eye catching bright yellow. Filled with the old dragon's knowledge the man brought his long, clawed fingers together slowly forming a series of hand seals before then holding out his right palm, a tiny black vector forming in the center of the palm. Then with little to no warning a powerful surge of gravity pushed outwards sending a wave of destruction out to thirty or forty meters..."Kuuton is much more useful and should draw less attention, as he nevered used that."

A few weeks had passed since the rebirth of the spirit saint, but the youth's whose body that he had taken over still had a normal life to lead and the also included missions as well, being a mid-ranked shinobi the chuunin and medic nin was often attached as a third or fourth week for other teams that were taking on missions outside of the village. But this would actually be the first time for Zao since returning to the realm of the living that he'd left he village, having been trying to maintain a lowkey lifestyle to keep from drawing to much attention to himself in this new form, especially until he was able to fully regain his strength back to its peak form.

This trip took them to the northwest, more of a scouting mission as the group of four Suna shinobi patrolled on the border of Wind country, looking for any signs that the neighboring Iwa was attempting to once more push into the land of WInd. Zao had been removed from the world on his own accord, not caring about the earthly affairs of hte shinobi world during the time which Iwa and Suna clashed, so the man found himself catching up on recent history as he traveled alongside the shinobi who couldn't help but discuss the rising tensions. 'Was this why I was brought back?' But it only left the man once again questioning just what had caused for his soul to not cross over and instead find itself back into the body of a Sand shinobi, one from his late wife's clan no less.

A little over a week into the journey the group crossed paths with a patrol from the Rock shinobi, a brief exchange happened before both sides retreated just as quickly as it had started. After seeking cover the white-haired youth was using advanced iijutsu to help heal one of the rather badly wounded teammates. They thought they had found a safe spot, at least before they were surprised by a pair from the group who had tracked them while the others took the wounded. Crimson chakra flowed out from Zao's body as he found himself infuriated with the pair attempted to strike not only the person, he was healing but himself as the medical shinobi, he called forth his demon spirit Tako without thinking and used the body transformation technique which caused for a massive demonic looking clawed arm to rapidly grow from the man's back.

The claw was two meters wide and four meters long as it curled around the pair intercepting the doton shrapnel technique that had been timed for them both as the area filled with dust and debris. Then from the dust shot out the hand, the massive claw grabbed both of the frightened and off-guard shinobi as it crushed them within its grip before dropping them to the ground, one lifeless the other clinging to life as his broken body lay there. All the shinobi looked at Juu (Zao), who shook his head, "It is my spirit possession ability..." He tried to play it off, at least for the time being as he quickly finished healing the young man and the other two searched the two-enemy shinobi before the group left and pulled back to return to the village with news of their recent encounter.

Major Possession - Embrace the BeastShow

After performing the needed hand seals, the user will draw one of their bound spirits from the spirit realm into their body, fusing the two into one. Unlike the previous techniques that allow the user to acquire physical traits of the spirit in question, this technique works more like a form of reverse possess that allows for the user to summon the spirit in question and then possess their spiritual body. Allowing access up to the spirit's ability, two Concentrations, and up to two jutsu styles of the spirit. Any weapons or equipment the spirit would normally have access to when summoned are also useable by the user. Last for the next 12 posts. While possessing the spirit the stats of the spirit become that of the user.

Needless to say, there were a number of questions that come from the man using his demon spirit technique that ended up saving the two young shinobi during that reconnaissance mission on the border, but at his request the team kept that part of the mission quiet as all of them had survived the ordeal because of Juu (Zao) and were now back in the village recovering from the encounter with the Iwa party. Thus the team leader left that part of the mission report vaguer that he normally would have as a sign of respect and trust for their team's medic-nin, also in hopes that this would allow for them to request that the young Dasu would be alongside them on their next mission.

After Zao had departed from the mission group he returned to his family home in the Dasu compound, speaking casually with his father and siblings utilizing the memories of his body's original owner he then politely withdrew back to his room. Plopping down on the messy bed sheet he simply looked up at the ceiling, wondering how close he might have been to potently expose his true identity, even though only a handful of more powerful shinobi knew of the existence of some of his more powerful spirit companions. Yet, he would not have changed his actions as these shinobi were his people...was this one of the lessons he had forgotten in his past life as he left to pursue his own goals and agendas while leaving behind Suna as an afterthought, even killing a fellow friend and shinobi of Suna for his own desires?

This new lease on live was still a cloudy one, but slowly he began to get the feeling that perhaps the growing conflicts between the world was like a repeat in history...was he here to help stop that? Shaking his head, the boy soon noticed that during his daydreaming and thinking that it had already transitioned from day to night as the cool night air caressed over his exposed skin. Feeling restless he disappeared out the open window and found himself a quiet training area within the Dasu compound away from to many prying eyes as he needed to test something.

During his partial transformation he felt that the connection had in some way deepened even more that even in his past life where those companions of his were still just tools in his shinobi arsenal, but now something was different and for the first time he wanted to attempt to embrace that feeling and connection. A true merger between himself and the spirit. For this he chose one of his oldest spirits, "Zoukingu, let me experience your full might!" The words were whispered aloud to himself, but also telepathically projected to his bound spirit elephant king. A surge of powerful spirit energy rapidly descended upon him now before an explosion of chakra smoke occurred that covered nearly a fifty meter area shrouding the entire training area. From the cloud emerged a nigh fifty meter tall dark skinned elephant man mixed creature with six muscular arms and four large tusks as the powerful spirit body felt in full control of the man. "What a beast you are, my old friend..."

After performing the needed hand seals, the user flood their possessed form with Tenku chakra allowing for it to increase in size up to the size limits of a normal spirit with gigantism. If the spirit possessing the user's body in the "Embrace the Beast" jutsu has the gigantism ability, then the user will be able to temporarily increase their size up to the limit of gigantism ability and the Hyper perk stacked together. This increase in size will last for the next12 posts.

"What a beast you are, my old friend..."

The elephant that was infused with the demon chakra was a bit smug as he replied mentally to his owner who was possessing his body currently, 'You seem different, master.' Zouking's massive body shifted slightly as Zao became use to the feeling of the bulky body that belong the emperor class elephant spirit, something he wasn't accustomed to with his old body or this new one which was frailer and lacking any real muscle definition. "I am different..." Though the spirit saint wasn't quite sure himself what exactly it was he did know that there was something different about him in this life than the previous one, mentally and spiritually. This obviously excluded the physical changes of taking over a new body. One of the right arms curled upwards grasping at the air, having more than just two arms was a unique feeling without a doubt, but as the memories and thoughts of King continued to sync with those of his master, he was able to move all six separately from one another with decently control but he could tell using one side all together was much easier and he could only imagine the amount of devastating strength that such powerful arms could rain down upon a foe. After all, he'd never been on the receiving end of those blows.

'It seems that I'm only able to bring out the level of power of my own body, not your full power. How curious...' The pair, master and spirit companion, continued to converse mentally as the former bannin continued to get a feel for the level of power that he was able to bring out of the muscle-bound spirit's body. If the strength that he could bring out physically depended on his own level of personal strength, then in this life he would need to train his body and fight style in a different manner then he had previously done so. 'So, I shouldn't train myself in the same manner that I did in my past life, perhaps this new path was something that I overlooked prior as I rose through the ranks.' The beast's head tilted to the right and then slowly back to the left before the two of the right hands reached across the large torso of the beast to grasp hold of two scimitar like weapons, unsheathing them from the waist belt they had been resting on. The massive blades were each enough to cut through a normal building in a singular slice with their natural size. Slowly he twirled on blade around the hand before catching it and swinging it in a large arch like motion from the left to right, creasing a gust of wind pressure that swept out past the walls of the training area.

"A fighting style based on unbound strength...how fun. Hah." The man chuckled aloud to himself for a second, as a man who had focused solely on the mastery of ninjutsu and reaching its peak that was the existence of space-time ninjutsu, the thought of fighting with pure strength of one's body and weapons was not even a thought. But he would be lying to himself he the thought of clashing with another in direct combat actually caused for his heart rate to increase as the excitement such raced in his mind. "A new life and perhaps a new path..." Zao muttered to himself as willed the left arms of the beast's body to reach over the left shoulder and retrieve a massive tower shield as it seemed to move almost instinctively in front of him and the wide feet of the elephant spirit shifted and bent at the news into a rather neutral stance that seemed to be a balance of both attack and defense. But the size and weight of such a monster caused small tremors with each step and Zao knew that he wouldn't be able to fully train with such a massive form, at least not within the confines of the Dasu clan's compound as just his current few moments had probably already started to draw the attention of the security patrols that. Through his enhanced hearing through the large ears of the elephants he hears footsteps in the distance moving with purpose in his very direction. "I'll need to find another place for this kind of training..."

With that though he willed an end to the spirit link and King was released from the binding of the summon possession technique and with a large cloud of chakra smoke disappeared with a trace and as the cool night air blew away the magic smoke it revealed the slender youth standing in a large circular depression left from one of the feet of King. A few moments later a trio of young men rushed over the wall to find Juu standing in the middle of the training area by himself. "Did you hear that commotion?" One instantly questioned Zao as he dusted himself off turning to give a gentle body of respect to the jounin who led the two others special jounin. "Sorry for the commotion, I was training." The two special jounin both looked at the younger clansman and then two the squad leader who was taking in the training area. "Very well, let's try to not disturb the others this late my young friend." He nodded back and Zao simply replied "Yes, sir" as both groups left the training grounds for the night.

Drawing in a deep breath the user focusing their mind and body, sharpening and refining the practitioner's capacity to focus on the opponent and the task at hand as the practitioner shifted into a strength-based stance that allows for effective attacking and blocking without any detriment. While in this Stance, the practitioner can effortlessly ignore non-critical distractions, focusing solely on the opponent(s). They can read the opponents' muscle contractions and body positioning very accurately in this stance, and they are able to read the direction, the type, the timing, and the speed of an attack that is imminent. The opponent can still effectively mask their movements if they have a movement-concealing Stealth technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. While in this Stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +10 increase to Strength but suffers a -10 penalty to Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish.

The next day...

Zao stood face to fece with the jounin from the night before, he had contacted the youth and asked him to meet him outside the village on official business, something the spirit saint was able to see through the reasoning but still came obediently as the two stood out in the middle of the desert looking at one another. "Juu, please show me what technique you were using last night." He smiled; it was hard to get by with anything with a fellow jounin but what made him trust the older clan member was the fact that he'd brought him away from other prying eyes so that Zao wouldn't feel the need to be conscious of others or distracted. "It looked like you were practicing spirit possession, allow me to see its strength."

The jounin wished to see the strength of the next generation, at least what he thought to be the next generation in Juu, as Zao decided to not hold back and forming hand seals accompanied a flash of maroon tenku chakra before the beast that was King was once more brought back into the world under the possession of Zao himself. But as the huge cloud of chakra smoke blew away revealing the beast that the spirit elephant emperor was towering over the two-meter tall jounin, that was not everything as the six arms of the beast clapped together forming a horse seal as a vial of tenku chakra surrounded the muscular spirit's body before the shinobi let out a roar from the elephant's body as the muscles on every inch of the body bulged and began to grow nearly doubling the size of the beast which caused the other shinobi to look like a small ant in comparison. "By her light...." The shinobi's jaw was left a gap as he tiled his head as far back as humanly possible to attempt to take in the full size of the gigantic creature.

The towering form of Zao as he possessed the massive spiritual elephant King caused even the jounin to take a step back in believe, even though the spirit saint wasn't able to draw out the full strength of the spirit's muscular form it was still an intimidating presence to behold. Yet, the youth (or at least what others perceived to be a youth) shifted the position of the spirit's large body into a rather aggressive looking stance. One that caused the flow of chakra to shift in the body as the exposed arms of the spirit started to bulge as the veins in each became more prevalent to the eye. This was a special taijutsu stance that the man had been working upon that restricted the control of his chakra but increased the flow through the muscle fibers of the body. Shifting the focus of control to pure strength as he felt him gain more control over the strength the spirit was capable of now. Drawing back a single fist one of hte massive fist on his right side the man smashed down directly in the space between the two Dasu clan mates now utilizing one of the spirit's own techniques that caused a powerful earthquake with the fist impact at its epicenter that creased an explosive wave of dirt and dust that flew outwards in all directions.

That sheer force was enough to send the jounin stumbling away, caught up in the violently shaking sands and explosive force of the air which carried other sand and dust, but as a strong fighter himself he quickly regains his balance and adjusted his stance sliding to a stop as both arms were up blocking the wind and dust while protecting his face. But his lips were tight as the expression was one of nervousness, as he had only been caught up in the aftereffects of the technique, thankfully not actually struck by the fist that was the size of a small building at this point...
