Yuuto had been sitting at the reception desk at the Seven Swordsmen's headquarters when the familiar sting of boredom hit him. He hadn’t been doing what he was supposed to—training. He could feel his power stagnating, and he knew there had to be a way for him to grow stronger. But maybe it was time to also focus on mending his relationship with Mondai, or at least that was one of his goals. A sigh slipped from his lips as he stood, stretching out the stiff muscles from sitting too long. His eyes drifted to the wall, where the list of the great Seven Swordsmen hung. He scanned the names, pausing when he reached one that surprised him.

Abari... That redhead guy!

Yuuto grinned. He was genuinely glad to see that Abari had made a name for himself, especially considering how nervous the man had seemed the last time they sparred. It made sense that he was stronger than Yuuto now, given his position above him. That thought sparked an idea—what if he could train with Abari? And even better, maybe he could use Abari’s name to lure Mondai out of the shadows and get him to train with them too.

Two birds, one stone.

Yuuto chuckled and snapped his fingers. He turned to the receptionist, giving her a quick order to write letters for both swordsmen and have them meet him at the training grounds. He made sure to word it in a way that made it seem like they were the ones calling for the meeting, not him.

A little sneaky, a little dishonest… but this might be for the best. He hesitated for a moment, then pulled out the letter meant for Abari. After a quick rewrite, he made sure it was clear that it was Yuuto who had called on him, and that he needed Abari’s help to motivate one of the other swordsmen.

A moment of weakness... But hey, since I helped him chase off Yamato, maybe he owes me one. With that, he sent the letters off and began making his way to the training ground.

It was still early, which meant they’d have the entire day to train—plenty of time to spend with each other before the inevitable future battles that would decide their positions among the Seven.
