One Misty Day....
Chapter 1.1: A new rival
Rai let his feet dangle off the side of the building as he dug into his bag of chips; dried fish chips. to be exact; and watched the streets below. It was relatively quite, and the streets weren't as congested as they could be. It was quite boring to be honest. While he had just returned from a simple delivery mission, most of his friends and acquaintances had just departed on their own, leaving him all on his lonesome.
As he plucked another chip out, he heard a soft purr, and looked over to see a sleek gray bobcat"Hey little guy...", he reached out to pet him, but hesitated. "Wait. How did you get up here?". They were ten stories up and there was no entrance to the roof. Rai himself had walked up the side of the building. He eyed the now suspicious cat, and it seemed to eye him back.
Before he realized what was happening, the cat leaped, snatching his chip bag and darting away. "HEY!", he yelled as he chased after it. He managed to catch up, and attempted to tackle it, only for it to burst into smoke, and for him to be left with a small log.
Discarding it, a confused look came across his face. "Ninja cats...?
