Kuroru, the Kitsune Genin, has just finished a long day of work with a D ranked, feline retrieval mission. After heading home to retrieve fishing tackle box, Kuroru made his way to a local pond in the slums of Kirigakure. This was his favorite place to snag turtles, and his cheerful whistling is inviting to any one passing by....

Off the beaten path, down a wooden road, and just on the outskirts of the Kiri ghetto local fisherman planted eels for harvest. Kuroru had done some work as part of a mission for the fishermen, and was allowed to snag as much as he desired; so long as he was brave enough to be in the slums of Kirigakure. Standing atop the flat, metal hand rails protecting the bridge, Kuroru held his fishing pole outward and towards the water.

Kuroru was wearing his usual attire, his thick silk kimono whipping in the night wind. "It sure is cold tonight.." Kuroru thought to himself as he started casting out and reeling in, trying to stir up the flying patterns of the bugs above the pond. On his fishing pole was a bright yellow ribbon, and a very large barbed hook. Kuroru spent a lot of time at this pond, and the method he used to snag turtles was all about patience.

First he would move the insects from the center of the bond, to the more shallow edges. Then once the fishes under the water saw the bugs flying above, and rose to the surface, the planted eels would dart after them. To stay safe the turtles would leave the chaos of the eels shooting out of the underwater weeds, and find somewhere out of the water to rest and wait for the mud to settle.

That was when Kuroru would have to snag his hook into the neck of the turtle, keeping it from running from him. By the time he found his first turtle it was in the middle of night, and the wind was really swirling about. In fact it felt like it would rain. Hungry as ever, the young genin pushed forward and slung forth his hook. The barb stuck the turtle right in the eye, and the reptile began hissing out in terror and anguish. Kuroru however let out a howl of joy and began to run around the pond, eager to collect his catch. The turtle was average sized, and Kuroru decided he would catch another before heading home to make a turtle pie. Snipping off the fishing line with his ninja blade, Kuroru tied his catch up in the air.

"One more!" Kuroru whispered to himself and dashed back to the bridge. Standing atop the hand rails he repeated the process, hoping to catch a turtle soon. The Genins stomach was rumbling mightily.

Nishiki had made it quite the habit to go to the untouchables zone for training thanks to his sensei Kaguya Aimi and so once again he had been down there this day also to do just that, though now that the day was winding down he wrapped things up and went on a bit of a stroll through the area to freshen himself up before heading home to truly rest.
The boy's now fading pink fur waved about in the breeze that started to pick up along with his usual extravagant kimono; the white and flowery garb that laid over the top flowed backwards and past his three tails as he happily skipped right into the wind, taking full delight as the light mist surrounding the area washed over him as if it was a refreshing surprise despite it being the norm for the village hidden in the mist.

After a blissful moment the Tsukino would venture into a more wooded area with some seemingly nice looking water from which there seemed to another boy fishing from, which normally he would not pay any mind to but this boy was dressed almost as extravagantly as he and also had lots of foxy features that clearly marked him as one of his own which raised the intrigue.

With a quick fluttering dash the young chuunin scampered around the corner and dropped lightly down on the rail of the bridge behind his kin before leaning forward with curiosity.
"Is it actually any good fishing here?" he questioned rather quizzically, unawares of if he was noticed in anyway with the hope he was not so that it would make his fellow kin jump a little as a sly grin began to spread across his face just at the thought.
Deep within there was a feeling of disgrace as the one known as Yoshimitsu never understood his pathetic host's antics but this was assuredly a failure in his mind for if the kid was truly another Tsukino then he would surely feel Nishiki's presence, though, perhaps, just perhaps the kid was too engrossed in his fishing and perhaps the little trick would work but the Genma had very little belief that it would.

It was quite a shock to be greeted by another Tuskino out here in such a swamp of a fishing hole. The two Kitsune were still in the city, but there were of overgrown swamplands too. The bridges that connected the marshy lands to each other weren't built real well either, and Kuroru nearly stumbled off the hand rail he was standing on.

Clumsily turning around Kuroru's tails writhed behind his figure, the young boy showing his anxiousness at the surprise visitor. Kuroru's tails quickly calmed down, but if experience with the Tsukino House had taught this Kitsune anything, he wasn't going to take such a blissfully adorned figure so lightly in the Undesirable zone of Kirigakure.

With his fishing pole in the water, Kuroru was sure to remain hungry tonight; but the Genin considered little of it. In a soft whisper Kuroru spoke with his new company, "Of course it is.. why else would you come here?"

Still on the hand rail, Kuroru held himself tightly with one hand; his other, the one that had tossed the fishing pole now reaching into the sleeve of his kimono, as if he were going to pull his left arm out of the thick silk. The wind whipped the fabric in the wind, making it clear one of his arms was concealed now.

Nishiki grinned as his fellow house member seemed quite shocked at his arrival as he then nervously went on to try and explain that it was indeed a good spot and ask why else he would be there, which made sense in a way but Nishiki had never really considered it as viable since it was such a dirty looking, horrible seeming place that maybe only those of lesser lives would attempt to fish in.

With that in mind the boy took in the whispers and leapt down onto the bridge proper, where he then proceeded to step forwards and then lean over the railing to look at the water below seemingly full of turtles.
"I suppose it is okay, just thought this area was too filthy and nasty to fish up anything worthwhile you know?" he replied back in a curious tone as he truly thought about how good it could actually be to eat such food, remaining sceptical that it could be any good.
"I... think you would still have to pay me a good amount to convince me..." he slowly added, his tails and ears curling in wary judgement as he continued to lean way over the edge as if he could fall at any moment and yet skilfully unable to do so.

The young fox brought his right hand above his eyes like someone might do trying to block the sun, though there was clearly none to block, as he peered into the water to look for all the turtles and fish as his curiosity filled him and his feet seemed to begin raising up off the bridge to a dangle.
"Ummmmmm... Why not just, like, grab them or like attack them?" he then pondered "Oooh, like that one?!" he then exclaimed as his right hand stretched out to a point towards one of the turtles he spotted.
Nishiki wasn't sure he could be convinced to eat them, not from here, though he wasn't against hunting them if only to test one's skills as that seemed at least a bit exciting and fun more so than just fishing anyway.
