Nishiki had found himself at a training grounds near one of the academies in the military caste and had gotten himself a nice open space to practice a new kinesis, having been training hard on his new forms since the rampage accident had occurred and finally feeling quite comfortable with his raiton techniques.
The mist seemed quite low impact with the weather being fairly decent for Kirigakure so it seemed like a good time to step up to such a big skill, as such the Tsukino had gotten fully dressed in his usual kimono outfit and battle gear and had paid off others to let him have his space before getting down to some stretches.

"I suppose you're still not gonna talk hmm? Not gonna help with this either?" the fox-like boy muttered, seemingly to himself but in actuality to the beast within as he bent down stretching out his leg before standing up fully.
"Oh well, I suppose you never helped much before anyway" he then added, his left index finger poking into his chin just under his lip as he thought about the best way to go about things.
After a moment of thought the jinchuuriki figured he should just get into things, thus the seal on his stomach flared up and a mass of magenta chakra flooded out and surrounded his whole body.
The magenta whirled as it pulled in tight to his transforming body, turning grey as it did so, until he was Nishiki no more or at least didn't appear to be so: black rods in his wrist had extended; ribs pushed out of the skin; horns protruded from his head, one in each direction with a small spike in the centre with them all looking like a crown in combination; his hips, elbows and knees pushed out against his skin in a jagged fashion; a black orb of chakra formed atop the spike on his head and spat out ten others that formed a line down his back; his tails had become compressed and looked like bony whips when they moved away from the body.

All in all the host now looked like a miniature version of the genma within and other people nearby had began to stare a little but quickly went back to their own training sessions.
"Okay, soooo...." Nishiki muttered once more, though with is face obscured by chakra others would not be able to see any lips moving.
With that out of the way he decided to start small and channelled up his own unique little jutsu as small ball of electricity anchored down beside him and just sat there producing more and more.
"Let's see..." he muttered some more, his right hand hovering over the tanker as he felt it with his chakra and then tried to grip onto what he could as he did a slight hand tightening movement.
Once he had seemed to grab hold of some of the electricity with his chakra he then lifted up his hand and caused a slither to flow up with it, then with a quick thrust forwards it too zoomed ahead or at least it started to before flinging off in a wide arc into some other kid's practice dummy.

"Whoa!" the kid yelled as he backed off a bit, though he was too nervous to come over to the strange jinchuuriki and swiftly went back to training in a grumble.
"Oops... Maybe I should've gone somewhere safer like before... Oh well" the Tsukino muttered to himself some more before brushing off his concern over anyone else.
"Raiton is so finicky and different" he then thought to himself as he looked down at the tanker and placed both hands over it this time, having had the most trouble with it so far... well... actually... maybe that was doton, that was so stubborn and unmoving unlike the other elements and he had only learned so much so far with that but either way it was time to focus on raiton right now.

With the mists surrounding Kirigakure being quite thin for once, there was actually a notable amount of sun that was able to burn through the humidity and make for a rather pleasant afternoon. Whereas in his younger years Shinjiro had hardly spent any time outside of the Karagata properties he now fully embraced the outdoors, namely the freedom he had been granted through his large array of animal transformations. More often than not the teenager preferred to take to the sky, with the mists thinner than usual there was far more of the village that could be seen from the air. Taking on the form of a medium sized brown and white hawk Shinji could see many details he had never noticed before.

His preferred form was that of a bat and as such he was well accustomed to listening to shinobi and in a sense feeling everything around him. To be able to pinpoint locations and small details about an individuals clothing, even being able to discern words from the pages of books over the shoulder of a genin reading in the slight sun, it was a welcome new perspective that the young assassin thoroughly enjoyed. What caught his eye the most however was the unusual entity at one of the training grounds he flew over. ‘His form looks different from before’ he noted, spotting the well-known rods that protruded from Nishiki’s wrists. He had seen a form of his transformation when the fellow Jinchurriki had taken the Chunin exams but this seemed like a step beyond even that.

Swooping low, Shinji wouldn’t make any particular effort at concealment beyond his usual habit of flying silently and with great speed. A green aura would surround him as he transformed back into his human form, clad in his new outfit that consisted of a long dark jacket and hood rather than the camo pattered clothing he previously favored. Either way he had been wearing nothing but a simple pair of shorts the last and only time he had thus far encountered Nishiki, back in Fountain Country not more than a few months ago. He was curious to see how far his fellow Jinchurriki had progressed since then. It seemed Nishiki devoted much more time to mastering his Genma’s powers than Shinji did, seeing as how he had been spending the majority of his training honing his own body and using Vorashu’s powers to supplement that rather than the other way around. “You look like you’ve gotten a lot stronger since the last time I saw you” Shinji began, carefully assessing the young man. The two were of a similar age and though Shinjiro was a rank higher still he knew better than to underestimate Nishiki, especially being a student of Kaguya Aimi, a man who had proved himself to be one of the most elite shinobi in the village.

Messenger bird
C-Rank Full Kaerujutsu
Prerequisite: Form 1
This transformation allows Shinjiro to take on the form of various medium sized bird species used to delivery messages. This includes small hawks, pigeons, and doves. This transformation is also one of the rare instances where Shinjiro is not granted any stat changes.

Form 1: In this form the host exudes a sickly green chakra. Their hair will begin to from into thick braids that will hang loose. Hosts with short hair will find their hair growing during this form as well. Additionally, the host is able to use Kaerujutsu based on their Genma Mastery stat, which involves transforming their whole body, opening up this new pathway of transformations.

Nishiki closed his eyes as he held his hands up towards the ball of lightning and began to focus on it, trying to delve deeper into just how it felt and behaved so that he could more easily manipulate it to its maximum potential.
Though he knew not to go too far in his comparisons to the other elements it still helped to distinguish them and pull from possible similarities: suiton was very fluid and was very easy to make flow; katon was very powerful, aggressive and chaotic but could be directed like it had a purpose; fuuton was constantly moving, never stopping and very sharp but that made it easy to direct; raiton was very energetic and impulsive, wanting to spread where it could and never stay still which made it closest to fire and wind.

The Tsukino felt the bouncing, chaotic energy and could tell he had to push it into order by letting it release and jump along its path which probably meant at its maximum the electricity would never truly appear straight even if it did move in a straight line but that was its own finicky nature.
With all that in mind the jinchuuriki once again opened his eyes as he pulled up his hands along with a trail of lightning, feeling its movement to the best of his capabilities as he tried to manipulate it beyond the capabilities of a jutsu.

However as he was pulling out the raiton he felt the tingling vibrations of something coming down nearby and turned just in time to notice a glowing hawk transform into a human, which could only be one person: Shinjiro!
That being said Nishiki did not let his fellow jinchuuriki's sudden appearance distract him as he maintained his hold over the lightning and pulled the slither out, crushing what he had into the size of a basketball between both hands as he turned to face his fellow host.
"Oh! Yes, I suppose, I have been practising my newest skills to make sure I am in top shape" he replied a little surprised, nodding towards the lightning he held between his hands.
After he spoke he took a closer look at Shinji and took in his new outfit and intriguing transformation to his hair, confirming it wasn't just himself that had these weird changes when using the genma abilities.

Meanwhile it seemed Yoshimitsu had paid some notice to the fact that the other major jinchuuriki had once again appeared before its host, though he remained silent and not very forthcoming as he continued to behave in a manner that could only be described as sulking like a big baby who couldn't get their way.

Shinjiro was fascinated by the way Nishiki moulded the electricity, he had seen him utilize Suiton quite well in his exam and understood well enough that the Genma he possessed granted him unparalled control over the basic elements, though it was still impressive to witness firsthand. Nobody in his family had much focus on Ninjutsu, save for a bit of talent in Raiton that his father and sister had though they rarely had to resort to that. On several occasions Shinjiro had considered delving into his Ninjutsu training and certainly he would eventually though it just seemed like such a waste of time until one was able to reach a high level of skill. And with the amount of time it took him to develop that kind of ability he could have instead perfected his Taijutsu ability. He could already create fire through sheer friction, albeit not particularly strong flames but the precedent was there. He was sure he could replicate other elements too and to greater effect in less time than it would have taken him to learn Ninjutsu from the ground up.

Surrounded in a light green aura, Shinjiro’s vibrant eyes seemed to almost glow within his hood, his face further obscured by a lower face mask. He wore a dark brown scarf today rather than his green one, which flared out at his back transitioning to a ragged cape of sorts that flowed down the middle of the crossed swords across his back. Cracking his neck and back in a series of twists, the young Special Jounin stretched out, evidently preparing to test himself against his fellow Jinchuriki. “You performed well in the exam though your opponent was rather weak. Let’s see what your ninjutsu can do against me!” he decided confidently. He didn’t intend on harming Nishiki, not unless he posed any kind of threat. For now he was curious about the kind of speed his elemental jutsu was capable of and if he had any way to overcome a skilled and highly evasive taijutsu user. This was of course also a test of Shinjiro’s own abilities. If he couldn’t keep himself from harm against a Chunin elemental user he could never hope to best someone like the Mizukage whom he had witnessed firsthand overpower the most frightening physical specimen he had encountered; the previous Body Genma host, Katsu.

Nishiki watched as Shinji cracked his neck before suddenly jumping in on his training, instructing him to attack with his ninjutsu which was not what he was expecting at this time but nonetheless he figured it would create a good moving target that could at least withstand any of his blows.
"Oh... Sure" the boy replied a little shocked but quick to accept the offer.
If anything this conversation of sorts also helped pull some of the kid's attention away from what he was doing, which in turn meant needing to be able to split his focus and still maintain control over the lightning which seemed to be occurring quite well for now.

With the training exercise shifting gears the Tsukino quickly thought through what he had to do as shifted the raiton between his hands and immediately moved to take action; his hands moved around and to the back of the ball he had before he pushed them forward sending the lightning flying at his new foe, travelling in a much more straight line than before but a slightly reduced speed and strength of 20 due to not being fully used to it at this moment in time.

As the streak of lightning flew ahead the chuunin tried to keep an eye on his opponent whilst maintaining focus on the kinesis, feeling his chakra flow along it and control it as he prepared for any instant movements he may have to take.

There was a familiar calm before the lightning was directed towards him. Shinjiro’s muscles relaxed as he exhaled slowly, keeping his stance light and shifting his weight towards his toes, legs bending slightly. He knew better than to ever underestimate his opponents, no matter how aloof and confident he acted. The lightning moved quickly, quite an impressive speed for the ninjutsu of a fresh Chunin and as one might expect of a promising young Jinchuriki. But Shinjiro was in a completely different league. Speed was his forte and when it came to Taijutsu the kid was a prodigy. Shinjiro would gauge the movement of the attack, taking a single stride forward and then dashing quickly to the side at near his top speed. To Nishiki it would in fact appear that he hadn’t even moved, the lightning would seem to strike Shinji directly though what Nishiki was seeing was merely an afterimage, barely distorted even after the lightning passed through the image.

The real Shinjiro would have already moved behind Nishiki faster than he could have blinked. “Too slow. I win” he teased in a childish fashion, poking Nishiki firmly at the base of his neck to highlight his presence. Even with just a single finger the young assassin could have delivered a lethal blow but of course he had no intention of harming his fellow Jinchuriki. He valued Nishiki as a shinobi and saw the greatness of his potential, moreover he was someone he could relate to. Immediately after speaking, Shinjiro would dart backwards and to the left at a 30 degree angle, once again leaving behind an afterimage as he dashed about 15 meters away from Nishiki, stopping abruptly and turning on his heels. Every movement he made was done with the utmost of silence, unable to be detected at all by most shinobi though he had heard much of the enhanced senses attributed to the Tsukino clan. He was curious to determine how keen that hearing truly was, though he was confident even if he could sense him to some degree he wouldn’t have the reaction time to make use of his senses. “I’m sure you can handle yourself well from a distance, at least against other Chunin but it seems you’re not yet at my level” he boasted, though his tone seemed perhaps a bit disappointed.
Jutsu UsedShow
Blurred Movement
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: 25 Speed
Having honed his body to operating at high speeds Shinjiro has developed the ability to blur his movements so long as he is moving at least 5 Speed higher than the opponents Instinct making his fine movements more difficult to determine. If his Speed is 10 higher than their instinct then Shinjiro will seem to leave afterimages of himself in his wake that will persist for a full post before fading.

Shadow Step
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite:[Stealth]
Trained in the ways of an Assassin, silent movement is one of the Karagata families most esteemed talents. Shinjiro can run at his full speed without making a sound, light on his toes and able to breathe softly and evenly at the perfect opportunities he is so skilled that even his clothes or weapons don’t rustle. Even his heartbeat is slow and barely detectable unless an opponent has an enhanced hearing technique of equivalent or higher rank. However when walking his stealth is superior to such an extent that he is completely undetectable by means of sound.

As the lightning shot forwards it suddenly seemed to flow straight through Shinji which momentarily shocked Nishiki causing it to shoot slightly off course but he quickly took back control and held it still, then he made haste to pull it back as he felt a shiver of a vibration behind him as the afterimage disappeared.
However by the time the boy had began to react to his training partner's speedy movement and words, they had already disappeared once more and began gloating from a distance about his speed.

The Tsukino wasn't sure he could keep up with such impressive speed either as it seemed on par with Aimi's lower speeds at the very least, though he couldn't give up yet as he pushed for the maximum and instantly changed the raiton's direction as it flew at the fellow host now at 25 speed and strength as he turned to face him once again.
It seemed that the challenge certainly pushed the chuunin get a handle of the skill rather swiftly as it felt like he was truly getting into full control now, though he did not offer any words in return and simply gave a cheeky glare that would likely be impossible to see since it was as if Nishiki no longer had a proper face in the current form.

Shinjiro’s fierce yet cold eyes followed the crackling electricity as it came towards him for a second pass. It was faster this time, actually quite formidable if he were to be careless. However he was curious to how strong it really was. Raiton wasn’t an element known for its lethality but rather its ability to paralyze an opponent leading up to deadly follow ups, though there were some applications of electricity that could kill quite easily. It was quite the versatile and powerful style and certainly one that would have been useful for him to develop. It would have been easy for Shinjiro to simply dodge once again but that wouldn’t have taught him anything new about his opponent’s abilities.

Instead Shinjiro would plant his stance firmly, opening his hands defensively as he raised his arms in front of him in a tight formation that protected his face, neck and core. As he did this a black turtle shell would manifest around his torso, going so far as to actually change the musculature of his body as tissue connected his joints to the armor. Even through his clothing with the magic of chakra. Then, in an exceptionally unorthodox maneuver he would strike the lightning with his left palm with immense force (39 Strength) which would serve to disrupt Nishiki’s control over the ball of lightning and either scatter it completely or send it flying back towards him depending on whether his opponent would fight to maintain control of the lightnings shape.

Of course the young Karagata’s hand was protected by nothing but an ordinary glove and so it would be rendered paralyzed though he would show no sign of feeling any sort of pain or discomfort nor even indicate that his hand was hampered in the slightest. Utilizing his hands defensively like this, there was no need for fine control of his fingers and he didn’t utilize any jutsu that required handseals and so there was no reason to fear this level of paralysis. “I hope you can do better than that Nishiki-kun” he teased playfully with only a hint of a sinister tone sneaking into his voice.

*[Totem Style • Turtle's Shell]
D-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: [Rigid Structure]
This stance is focused on resilient defenses at the sacrifice of nearly all offensive ability. The user holds their hands open and their body perpendicular to their target. They use their strongest points to absorb incoming damage, protecting their core. Often they will grab or redirect attacks to simulate them sliding off a turtle's shell.

Armored
C-Ranked Partial Kaerujutsu
This transformation allows Shinjiro to manifest a black turtle-like shell around his torso, protecting his stomach, chest, back and even his shoulders and part of his neck. This shell acts much like a suit of armor although it is physically a part of him, bonding with his skin. He can even retract his limbs and head into the fleshy space inside the shell. The strength of the shell is equal to that of Shinjiro’s Strength+Stamina/2. This partial transformation grants him +6 Strength, + 5 Stamina, -3 Speed, -2 Instinct.

*[Totem Style • Turtle’s Total Defense]
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: [Rigid Structure], *[Totem Style • Turtle's Shell]
A defensive skill used by the adept against even chakra based attacks. By balancing their stance and holding their arms open they ready for any and all incoming attacks. Pitting their strength, speed, and tai skill against their opponent's they aim to reflect nearly all attacks launched at them. They will strike any solid attack in such a way as to prevent cuts, pierces, or abrasion and send it towards their opponent at full force. Such a display is taxing and can only last for a number of posts equal to (stamina/10).

Nishiki watched with intrigue as Shinji stood his ground this time around and simply transformed to gain reptilian features much like that of a turtle, which he then used to not only full on block the incoming attack but to also send it flying back as the lightning shattered into pieces.
Though the Tuskino managed to maintain his control over the lightning as it buzzed around like tiny little sparks fluttering their way back to him, each one beginning to dance around the boy as his hands shifted about in command showing a great deal of control over the element as it then began to reform into a ball beside him to his right side.

A grin formed under the chakra cloak as the very interesting beast jinchuuriki dished out another taunt, causing his foe to pause for a moment as he thought over what would be best to at least land a good hit with two particular methods coming to mind but one above the other despite not necessarily intending to do such training just yet and not having any known skill for it.

Though it would take a moment to get up to a similar level Nishiki decided to switch gears and let go of the lightning, in turn letting it disperse as he then performed a swift set of handseals and created 10 shuriken made of rock within his hands.
Once the shuriken where created he hovered his right hand over them as he held them in his left and began to grasp at the stubborn element with his chakra, something he was still a little unsure about as it seemed to be his weakest of the basic affinities and thus it took a little moment before something seemed to happen.

With a bit of focus one of the shuriken floated upwards almost as if attached by string, wibbling and wobbling a bit here and there but nonetheless under the boy's control, then after another moment it dashed ahead with great strength and speed at the flick of a wrist.
However the shuriken seemed to spin along the wrong axis and break apart right before the fellow genma host in a rather embarrassing manner, causing the boy to grit his teeth in shame as he blurted out "drat!".

That being said Nishiki made haste to try once again before he could be belittle over shoddy technique, causing another shuriken to begin to levitate before him as he then paused and focused on it for a moment as he previously did with his other elements.
"So stubborn" he thought to himself as he tried to imagine how doton worked and how to freely control it, which as actually a bit of a pain since it was so solid and did everything so differently than all the others.

After a small moment the fox began to feel his chakra flow and feel how connected and intact the rock was, then with another flick of the wrist he sent it flying once again but this time held a strong grasp over it as a whole and kept it in one piece though it did seem a bit wonky with its spin still and only moved at 20 speed and strength like the first lightning strike aimed at his sparring partner.

It wasn’t often that Shinjiro took on a defensive stance. Typically he aimed to end a conflict in a split second with a fatal or debilitating attack, much like his initial demonstration of skill. If an opponent was able to survive his initial attack he would switch to evasion and attempt to determine if he was able to create sufficient opening’s and adapt to his opponents fighting style in order to bring them down with hit and run tactics. If an opponent was beyond his ability then the only course of action was to retreat like he had been forced to do when facing off against katsu, the S-ranked former host of Vorashu. Taking on a defensive stance was more something he would rely on when fighting a group of opponents as he assessed for weaknesses and decided who to target first. Still, considering that his only form of fighting was taijutsu it was good to practice a variety of fighting methods that didn’t rely soley on any one thing. Even without his swords or abilities as a Jinchuriki Shinjiro ensured that he trained hard enough to remain a competent fighter.

The young Karagata watched with intrigue as his opponent released the lightning shortly after reforming it into a ball beside him. ‘What next?’ he wondered, optimistically. ‘Crush him into the ground and grind his bones to dust. They are nothing before our power.’ Vorashu encouraged, wishing to see the Jinchurriki of the Phantom Beast of Elements properly subdued and forced to beg for mercy. Proving his own superiority as Alpha of all things was perhaps his greatest desire, save for creating balance in the world by ravaging humanity and returning them to their more primitive roots. Our power?’ Shinjiro questioned in a sly fashion, Vorashu had never referred to them as a team before. ‘Your meager strength pales in comparison to my own young pup, though you’ve clawed your way to victory many times under my influence and now bare sharp fangs. Your reputation is tied to my own, in that regard our interests are aligned’ spoke Vorashu, his haunting voice speaking in a slyer fashion rather than purely aggressive. The old Shaman was a master and creator of all beasts of the world but even a superior being such as himself could grow to respect the strength of a human. ‘Hmm, I suppose that’s true but there’s no need to fight like that this time, Aimi-sama was right. There is a time to show restraint, to encourage growth’ he decided, relaying some of his newfound perspectives to the spirit that dwelled within him. ‘He’s a hypocrite, a fraud. He rules with power alone and crushes all those who defy him.’ The Genma countered, reiterating some of Shinjiro’s previous thoughts on the man, however he would push the debate aside as he addressed the spar at hand.

Throughout his inner conversation he remained fully alert, observing the way Nishiki hesitated in his control of Doton. It seemed this was a new skill; one he was learning on the fly. This indicated both Nishiki’s trust in his sparring partner and his eagerness for self-improvement, deciding to develop new skills and create new combat tactics as he went rather than relying on what felt the most comfortable. It was much the same when he had fought Mondai, though at the time Shinjiro had been too selfish and prideful to realize his opponent was still learning a new technique. He had struck his at the time fellow dagger down in an instant delivering debilitating blows that could have crippled him and ended his shinobi career had he not received prompt medical care. He wouldn’t do the same to Nishiki, whom he could see clearly would become an incredible asset to the village and perhaps even something similar to a friend.

As Shinjiro noticed the extent of Nishiki’s difficulty in controlling Doton freely, a high-level skill on its own accord the Karagata would relax his defensive stance though retained the armored shell. “Don’t rush it” Shinjiro advised as the first shuriken fell to the ground. “Strike and defend with purpose and commitment to every action” he stated as the second shuriken came hurtling towards him in a much more promising fashion though still lacking proper commitment to its course. Shinjiro only knew a few Doton techniques himself, it was the only element he had any notable understanding of and even then he was drawing his words more from how he utilized the turtle stance of totem style. Grabbing the shuriken out of the air with his right hand Shinjiro quickly flung it back at Nishiki with a casual flick of his wrist, propelling it toward him with 25 Speed and Strength.

Nishiki listened to what Shinji had to say, taking in the advice with a little bit of surprise as he didn't think he would be so easy to work with for some reason but then maybe something changed within him.
That being said his opponent was still very skilful and easily snatched the incoming shuriken right out of the air and right out of the trainee's control, whereupon doing so immediately tossed it right back which caused the boy to really get into things and focus as his hand reached out toward it.

The Tsukino felt his control sinking back into the weapon as it rushed towards him, its spin slowing down until came to a sudden stop right before his palm but as it did a sly little thought came to mind and he instinctively reacted with a grimace.
"Ouch!" he yelped, "That hur- Shishishishi" he went on to try and say but broke out into a snicker, shattering his facade and revealing his little joke as it became clear the earth stopped just before and didn't quite make it as far as causing any damage.

With the little snicker however came an immediate third attack as a flick sent the shuriken right back as if it was on some kind of pendulum mechanism, though it was also accompanied with a second that flew in parallel as they spun around each other in an helical fashion at the full 25 strength and speed.
Nishki's right hand continued to make minor twisting like movements as he felt his flow of chakra within the weapons, maintaining each of their shapes as he moved them as one with the power of this new kinesis building up within himself and his understanding of doton easing in with each use.
"Perhaps not so stubborn after all" he thought to himself as he started to get a hang of things, starting to see earth's flow of movement despite being so solid.

Shinjiro was pleased to see his fellow Jinchurriki manage to slow the weapon considerably as it was launched back at him, though he was a little surprised by the playful reaction. ‘So this is what a Tsukino is like’ he observed. The family of fox people had a reputation for having sly or playful demeanors though Shinji had never actually interacted with one before meeting Nishiki. It was a very different personality type than he was used to though he found himself drawn to warmer individuals if only to attempt to understand a vastly different approach to life from his own. “So you managed to stop it after all? Maybe I don’t need to hold back quite so much then” he wondered. Gauging how much his opponent was capable of handling was difficult for someone who had been trained to end a fight in a single exchange, even in a spar. He could easily discern what it would take to kill Nishiki and could achieve such a thing dozens of different ways with ease, however, he didn’t know how to spar in such a way as to let his opponent practice and grow and without even suffering extensive injuries.

The pair of shuriken spiraled towards him, now matching what seemed to be the current maximum speed of manipulation that Nishiki was capable of. “You learn quickly” Shinji observed. He was eager to see what he would be capable of when he finally got serious. “But is it enough?” he questioned while standing his ground casually, his left hand resting in his pocket. As the shuriken came within a meter or two Shinji would grow 3-inch long claws from the fingertips on his right hand. Shifting his body at the last moment he would take a quick backstep and slash the pair of shuriken apart with a single motion as they moved toward the afterimage where he was previously positioned. Without wasting a moment Shinji counterattacked, dashing forward to a distance of 4 meters as his left hand now aimed at Nishiki as his hand and forearm transformed into a green snake that extended towards his opponent at 35 Speed aiming to bite him on the wrist before yanking him forward and coiling around his hand, crushing it tightly enough to cause pain but not break any bones. If successful Shinji would lift Nishiki right off his feet, whipping him around overhead before tossing him toward the ground, only holding back his strength moderately as to ensure that Nishiki would most likely only suffer some bruising.

Claws of Fury
D-Ranked Partial Kaerujutsu
Focusing chakra into his hands Shinjiro is able to extend 3-inch long claws from his fingertips which are able to retract at will. These claws are quite sharp and sturdy, equivalent to that of a kunai.

Serpent strike
C-Ranked Partial Kaerujutsu
Focusing chakra into a limb/appendage of choice the area will glow green before transforming into either a green or black venomous snake which can then extend up to 5 meters to bite or constrict around an opponent. If bitten the target will experience nausea, blurred vision, elevated heart rate and sweating for 3 posts as the venom flows through their system. Shinji can maintain his limb in this form for as long as he wishes and revert it at a whim.

Shinji's words hinted that he was gonna get a bit more serious again which quickly proved true as he shifted from tortoise mode and went more savage; an after image formed as the beast dodged backwards and slashed apart the twirling shuriken before dashing at great spread right up to Nishiki, whereupon doing so a snake latched onto the boy's arm and began to swing him overhead.

The Tsukino wasn't quite so shocked at his opponent's skill this time and remained focused as the pain shocked through his wrist, allowing himself to push through it as he already began to feel on the chakra within the remaining shuriken causing them to float out of his hand and move along with him as he was picked up and tossed.
Such an attack put the lad's skills to remain in control of his kinesis no matter the situation as he did his utmost to manoeuvre the weapons along, feeling their movement as he twisted through the air, curving them around until he pushed and caused them to rain upon his fellow jinchuuriki though perhaps back down to a weaker level due to the fact he was indeed being tossed with great force and having not fully mastered the kinesis.

Once Nishiki landed he quickly rolled to his feet having learned he must not stay down for long in a fight even if it was a friendly spar but especially against someone with great strength and skill, of which it started to feel like Shinjiro could begin to rival that of Aimi's at least at the base level. As he moved to get up chakra began to well within as he now aimed to push himself further, taking in his fellow's words as he began to forgo the idea of some of his own restraints and began channelling a pulse of chakra through the earth below.

With the pulse came a rumbling as the ground tore itself apart and rolled along like a wave outward from the young chuunin at the centre, creating a seemingly powerful but simple technique that he had been practising to get around doton's stubbornness, all very much to everyone else's dismay as a large portion of the training grounds became uprooted and essentially destroyed with collapsed training dummies, targets and over such things scattered the arena.

That being said the boy had a mind not to overdo things too much and only sent out one pulse which would suffice for the moment as it now allowed him to hold out his arms once again and focus on shredded earth, feeling his expanse of chakra to the maximum as he focused hard on as much rock as he could and truly tried to grasp the pure essence of terrakinesis.

Though Nishiki did not wish to force things as he had learned that would only end badly he did wish to put his skills to the test, pushing to feel and grasp the earth bellow as it now welled up with his chakra spread throughout and with it he began to churn it and pull it out, slowly at first but soon building up speed as a dragon-like trail of rock tore itself from the floor like an earthen twister.

It was a lot of rock to control at once but perhaps it was now the best way to take things and somehow began to feel easier than messing around with little dinky earthen weapons; the flow of a whole mass of dirt, rocks and earth just felt more natural and it did not necessarily need to hold together as one solid unit plus it could probably have a better chance at striking its target.

Thus with the earth tamed and under control, it snaked its way towards Shinjiro as it followed up from the rumbling earth which had also hopefully stunned the held back assassin or at least put him in a precarious position that made avoiding what could only be described as a small avalanche worth of rocks flowing through the air like a dragon.

The young Karagata’s green eyes gleamed with a predatory look as he felt his snake limb pump venom into his opponent’s wrist. Fortunately, this species of snake was non-lethal, though he planned on developing more potent venoms and methods of delivery. Though there were a handful of high-level opponents that would be completely immune to poisons due to specific types of bodies or forms of pseudo-immortality it would still be a useful arsenal and perfect for assassination and hit and run tactics which he favored. Soon Nishiki would begin to feel nausea and dizziness as well as sweating and increased heart rate as the venom coursed through his body. Even a low potency venom was useful for unnerving a target, making them believe they might die if they didn’t seek medical treatment or an antidote or simply impede their ability to focus and coordinate their body effectively. “Pity, looks like you’ll die now” he remarked casually as he tossed Nishiki overhead, looking up at him he would ignore the shuriken as they approached center mass, allowing them to deflect harmlessly off his black shell which possessed durability of 32 Strength. He wanted to further express that Nishiki was powerless compared to him, at any point he could evade, intercept or simply block any attack the young Tsukino could muster. He was nothing more than a plaything that he could kill on a whim.

His comment, of course, was his own form of playfulness, joking at the expense of his opponent whom he hoped to incite some degree of fear in. Perhaps if he could force Nishiki to fight as if his life was on the line he might actually grow a little stronger and more useful to the village. Releasing his opponent as he impacted the ground, the snake arm would retract to a comfortable length of two meters. Even with only two partial transformations manifested at the same time, Shinjiro was an imposing and terrifying figure. He had killed well over a hundred times already at only the age of 15 and it took little imagination to understand what he was capable of and conditioned towards. His menacing presence seemed to have mustered the correct response as Nishiki began to up the scale of his attacks, something he figured an up and coming elemental master would be proficient in. He had seen Kasai fight firsthand after all, likely the most skilled elemental master in the world and he knew at that level sheer taijutsu could not compete. At least not in the brutish manner that katsu fought.

Shinjiro leaped backward at the ground pulsed beneath him, expecting it to rise up around him or attempt to drag him down. Instead, it seemed to be a technique to loosen the ground or perhaps simply infuse his chakra into a large area. Whatever the case he wasn’t naïve enough to think that was the extent of it. And surely enough a large stone dragon emerged, rumbling the ground as it snaked its way toward him before moving into the air. Casually hopping backward several times, though at speeds comparable to the approaching dragon, Shinji withdrew a handful of shuriken, launching three projectiles at the advancing dragon with 39 Strength. He expected the weapons to tear through the creation though it seemed unlikely that it would do much to stop it, given that it was a controlled technique manipulated through kinesis rather than a proper construct. Still, he wanted to test how much damage it would take to disrupt his control over such a thing if that was possible at all without complete destruction. Obviously a direct attack on the caster of the jutsu was the preferable response though Shinji was still playing around and learning what he could, exploring other possible options for fighting an elemental specialist.

Nishiki wasn't fully sure if Shinji was joking in his own way with the words he spoke or if they where serious, though perhaps they where a bit of both as he was clearly fine but did actually begin to feel some exhaustion as he manipulated the earth which was unusual even with how hard he was working.
With the poison filling him he did begin to shake a little causing the twisting rocks to shimmer and stagger a bit as they moved, though not enough to falter when struck by simple shuriken blows which did knock out chunks but did not stop the kinesis as a whole.

The Tsukino kept up his focus as he began to feel the sweat drip, resisting the urge to succumb to a poison which he surmised would surely not kill him given it was only a spar as he had faith that even the most savage of Kirigakure shinobi would not intentionally kill a promising comrade in this day and age, though he also supposed he did not know if his fellow jinchuuriki would even care.

Either way the boy wanted to push himself to his limits and see if he couldn't achieve the full skill he could muster with the terrakinesis, thus he channelled the strength he had and pushed it into his attack as he now started to truly grasp what it was like and even thought to do something else he wasn't sure if he was capable of yet; twin kinesis.
He had previously thought of combining two elements to catch Shinji off guard but with the impressive display he was performing now he instead focused on the rock as it snaked its way to him and then suddenly pulled it apart and caused it to split in two and form a kind of pincer attack that aimed to strike from two angles at once.

That being said controlling two separate elements at once, even if they where technically the same, was no easy task and put an even bigger drain on the chuunin and as such effectively reduced his control over each half which meant he could only move them at 20 speed and strength but it was still a major feat that hoped to get the foe more easily due to multiple angles of attack.

However Nishiki wasn't sure if he could maintain such an attack for long as he became more and more tired with each individual arm swing manoeuvring the earthen piles around the wild beast man, eventually leading to a sweaty collapse before he could tell if his dual attack even landed a hit and return putting a prompt end to the spar as chakra began to peel away from his body and suck back into the seal.
"D-damn... poison..." he huffed out as fell to his buttocks in a bit of a tired mess.

Shinjiro hadn’t expected his shuriken to do much of anything though it was always good to confirm that simple attacks like that would have no effect on a kinesis-controlled element. In time Nishiki might eventually surpass him, once his level of control rivaled that of the Mizukage. There was little a taijutsu practitioner could do when faced with such fearsome power. At least in regard to combating the element itself, eliminating the one controlling the substance seemed to be the only reliable way to overcome it. Such was the case when the poison began to affect Nishiki, coupled with his own exhaustion. It seemed that controlling elements freely came at a hefty chakra cost or perhaps like him Nishiki simply had a chakra pool on the smaller end of the scale.

In response to the pincer attack, Shinjiro would smile slightly before leaping into the air, manifesting a pair of black bat wings as he flapped them a few times, drastically increasing his speed to the point where he seemed to vanish. It was a good attempt and a tactic that showed an impressive level of control and concentration considering the current state the young Tsukino was in. As the Elementalist collapsed the earth he controlled fell to the ground, prompting Shinji to glide closer and gently land. He was actually feeling rather fatigued himself, using more chakra than he had anticipated, sustaining his current wings and overriding the precious boost to his Stamina from his armor left him feeling suddenly tired. His wings would disperse as would the green aura of chakra around him. “You’re a good asset to this village Nishiki and you’ll only continue to get stronger. Let us both serve to the best of our ability” he stated, standing over the other boy before offering a hand up. One way or another he would make sure Nishiki got to his feet. “Can you walk? I can carry you if you’d like” he offered with a neutral expression and tone. He had decided he liked Nishiki and wanted to see him thrive. Perhaps they could even be friends. “The poison will run its course in a few minutes” he added, smirking slyly. Training simple didn’t feel right to him if there wasn’t at least the illusion of one’s life being on the line.

Nishiki lightly smiled with foxy fangs showing as he looked up at his training partner who almost seemed to completely tower over him right at that moment, offering his hand which the dizzy boy took with a polite nod.
With a small surge of strength the young Tsukino was pulled to his feet and he pushed himself to prove he wasn't completely useless under the poison's effects, even performing one last ounce of analysis as he noted how his fellow jinchuuriki sprouted wings to avoid the last move and fly over which reminded himself that he wanted to also be able to fly.

Once the tuckered out lad was back on his feet he turned to his partner with his light grin still formed across his lips and gave a little bow "Thanks for your help today, perhaps we can do more some other time, see you again Shinjiro" he then spoke kind words, his breath still a little tasked.
With that the pair where done and could part ways to meet again another day, perhaps learning a little something from one another and growing strong together as Kirigakure's grand jinchuuriki.
