After being granted the rank of Bannin, Aimi wanders around Kirigakure in a bit of a dream-like haze and interacts with anyone who comes across his path.

Nishiki turned to face the others as they came out of the bakery only to see Chisaki transform into a boy so willy nilly, which was quite intriguing but he didn't wish to pry about it and it just meant they all got to go to the baths together as far as he was concerned though he did start to have thoughts of the goopy body melting into the water.
Whilst daydreaming of the weird possibilities of his subordinate's strange body, the fox's own superior reappeared and called out to them as he swiftly joined back up with the gang.
"Aimi-sama!" the fox exclaimed in a happy tone as he heard the man's voice, spinning round to great him with a huge grin before they all got going.
However it seemed the newbie was causing a bit of a commotion over Chisaki's new appearance, which kind of confused Nishiki as he was just happy they could all go together.
"Is there a problem with Chisaki being a boy?" he asked curiously, not understanding the situation.
"If we're all male then we call be together right? No one gets left out!" he exclaimed, not getting why it could be wrong in anyway.
"A happy ending like Aimi-sama said" he added cheerily, definitely not understanding what such words meant.

With that Nishiki happily skipped along unawares, at least for the moment, his mind still set on the strangeness of Chisaki's body and his wonderment on if it could end up just melting into all the water and just how it worked but that would probably be a discussion for another time in the future.

Chisaki would completely blow off Mondai's objection at first. Partially cause he didn't care what he thought and was going to do what he wanted regardless. The other part was that those who's opinions did matter to him didn't seem to care namely Shinji and Nishiki-sama. Especially when Shinji groped his derrière he was considerably reassured he was fine. Besides how does one assign a gender to a being that reproduces through a lytic/lysogenic cycle? He leaned in and whispered into Shinji's ear quietly in response to the grope when he got the chance.

"You still have to buy me dinner first before we even start going down that road love."

When he heard Aimi's voice he laughed thinking the Bannin wasn't shy at all walking around practically naked as he was. Mondai was clearly just shy and childish. Everyone seemed ready to go and he was actually quite curious as to what Aimi meant by happy ending. Sounded nice, maybe he could get one too.

Unfortunately, while everyone else seemed to be in a good mood and excited, the childish brat had to go and throw a temper tantrum spoiling the mood. The kid needed to grow up what if he was tasked with a covert op where he had to sleep with his target? Was he going to wuss out got the target saw his elephant?

"Oh grow the hell up Mondai. For one we are all shinobi and could serve and die in battle together. Me seeing your under developed dick is your most pressing concern with that in mind?"

Chisaki didn't care if hee came off as harsh or aggressive particularly since he had officially assigned Mondai to her food category. Especially since this wasn't the first time he'd been rude towards him because of his prudish nature. Secretly, he wished the idiot would betray the village so he could literally bite his head off rather than just verbally.

"Two I'm neither male nor female as I don't reproduce in the manner most humans do. The physical appearance I maintain is entirely up to myself. If I want to live the rest of my life with a psudeo-phallus dangling between my thighs and act like a man for the rest of my life I can. This isn't like a simple transformation jutsu that eventually wears off. Besides you dont know me at all and met me just today for you to assume I'm female to begin with is an error in and of itself on your part. Third and finally get over yourself. I'm not interested in what you have between your legs. There are three very strong men here that all would draw my eye way sooner. Now if you're done acting like a child how about we all go and have some fun, eh?"

Having ripped into him verbally, quickly and without pause to give him a chance to retort, Chisaki was content. He immediately went back to his normal happy self as if none of the previous rant had happened. He glanced up at Aimi with a devilish smile and a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Can I get in on the happy ending? Sounds like a good time."

Aimi was already several paces ahead of the rest of the group when all the commotion started behind him. Nishiki came skipping on up towards and past him and he smiled at the fox as he passed. Such a youthful energy, it was difficult to remember for a moment that he was host to a genma. Of course Mondai's objections were heard by all parties including the bannin as was the response that the girl now boy made in kind. Chisaki's tone made Aimi stop in his tracks and the smile fall from his face. Hearing a cocky older ninja berate a young boy for being a young boy was bad enough, but the superior tone of voice he chose to use? That was like asking for trouble from the Kaguya specifically. It was a little known (because it was little discussed) fact that Aimi Kaguya had an especially high opinion of the human race as a whole. Thus to hear a self-admitted non human talk as if they were better than Mondai because of that fact, well...

The bannin half turned and looked back at the three subordinates behind him, specifically the one up on a high horse. He looked at them nice and close and took in his features - the hair, the eyes, the skeletal structure. There had been changes, no doubt, but as one who was as versed in anatomy as himself, there hadn't been enough to completely erase their identity from him. Modai's words rang true; one of them hadn't been a boy when he was there before. That didn't make the confession any less valid of course and an open declaration of Chisaki's inhumanity any less valid - just more stupid. What Chisaki said was true after all, any one of them there could potentially be the end of the other within Kirigakure. Who knew when one family master would order a specific shinobi assassinated after all? Thus it was ridiculous bragging about how one reproduced and to what extent this transformation could or could not last. If Mondai were clever he'd hold on to this information and use it at a later date if he would need it in order to kill Chisaki. The longer he listened the more the Kaguya came to the conclusion that it wasn't just Mondai that needed to 'grow the hell up', it was Chisaki as well.

He would wait for Chisaki to finish speaking before flitting back between the group of them in an instant, suddenly inserting himself right in the middle of the group before it could escalate any further. "Chisaki, was it? A word of advice," he said, slowly turning his head towards Chisaki and giving him a sharp, piercing look. "Before you go along telling people they need to grow up and get over themselves, perhaps you should take your own advice and mature the hell up. Mondai's a young man who doesn't have any clue just yet what you're referencing and is still figuring out what kind of jutsu he wants to use, let alone what's happening to his or anyone elses' body. Making fun of someone for expressing concern about something they're unfamiliar with isn't clever, isn't mature, it's childish. You have more growing up to do than Mondai."

As he spoke Chisaki's words echoed in his head. 'Grow up', over and over again. His own words were chilly and to the point as he reflected back on his own experiences only minutes before when he had come to terms with a freedom that none of the others there could understand as of yet - that he himself did not fully understand, when he had burned away his life's work and creation so that no one but him could have it, when he had told the parents he had only recently known that he would be leaving them for the foreseeable future. In the last half hour alone the bannin had performed acts more mature than any that Chisaki had done in their entire life and the intense look on his face reflected that along with his disappointment in Chisaki's behavior.

After he finished speaking to Chisaki Aimi turned and looked over at young Mondai and his expression was softer. "Mondai, I understand your discomfort but not everything Chisaki said was out of line. There are going to be times when you'll need to put yourself in this sort of position professionally and you need to be prepared for that. More importantly you need to come to terms with the fact that nakedness, nudity, a persons' body; it's all ultimately not important. What you have is the same as what I have, what Shinji has, what Nishiki has, your dad, your uncles, any male has. What Chisaki had earlier was the same as your mom, aunt, any female you'e ever encountered. It's all not special in the end. Now, if you don't want to be naked in front of Chisaki or anyone else that's fine. It's a hot spring, you can wear a towel. Just don't get so caught up in the details from now on, hm? And don't let what he said get to you all that much."

With that said the Bannin once again turned to Chisaki and his face was softer now as it had been when he spoke to Mondai. Slowly he raised his arm up and extended his middle and index finger, lightly thrusting his arm forward and tapping Chisaki on the forehead. "Learn some manners. Next time I won't be so polite," he warned before glancing over at Shinji, smiling, and then darting back up the road towards Nishiki. He pulled his arms up and placed his hands behind his head, called out, "Come on! It's this way!" before starting to whistle and even skip along as Nishiki had been doing before. He knew the way, and it was up to the four of them to follow.

Shinjiro huffed in amusement as Chisaki, even in male form insisted he buy him dinner first, but then that brought about the question, what exactly did Chisaki eat aside from cake and people? The Jinchuuriki considered whether it would be better to buy a small bakery or a shipment of slaves, preferably captured criminals. Money was rarely an issue for him though in such grand gestures, either one was quite expensive even for a Jounin, noble-born into one of the main families. Would it be better to choose one and surprise the viral Toukai or would they have a preference and want to decide themselves? Courting others was not something Shinji was used to; crude remarks and lust came easy but thinking about others and what they wanted was much more complicated. As he considered his options he found himself displeased by Mondai’s obnoxious objection, he felt a sudden protective instinct come over him, knowing that few people knew about Chisaki’s particular condition and biology. He supposed he couldn’t fault Mondai for not knowing that such labels as male or female were trivial when applied to Chisaki, though regardless of whether or not they still had a biological gender such classifications meant nothing to him. Nudity was natural and one’s parts only mattered when necessary for the goal of reproducing, pleasure could be found regardless and one’s value as a shinobi or a friend certainly had no barring on gender.

Nonetheless, it opposed the ideals of the village to fight someone else’s battles and so Shinji stifled any comment and rising frustration, smiling softly beneath his mask instead, as he heard Nishiki’s lighthearted take on the situation. His innocence and simplicity were refreshing, though he wondered if perhaps some of that came from his animal traits. The more Shinji spent time as a beast the more he appreciated how straightforward primal instincts and natural order were. Humans were far too convoluted in their methods and ambitions, destroying their own habitat, constantly scheming against one another and hiding behind false pretenses, succumbing to overindulgence or complete abstinence from their desires. Slowly, over several years, Vorashu’s way of thinking had begun to influence Shinji’s own world view, and while he still retained strict loyalty to Kirigakure and the Karagata family he felt himself more detached and even disdainful towards most people. That being said, a handful of important influences showed him the value of companionship, finding a common ground even with Vorashu’s ravings. Finding a mate and trusted kin, forming one's own pack were all encouraged though individuals that were not quite human seemed to appeal to him far more than others, with the exception of those with strong ties to the Karagata or those who had earned respect and inclusion through sheer strength.

The primal Jinchuuiki watched the situation unfold through vibrant, animalistic green eyes. He found a certain enjoyment in Chisaki’s abrasive and assertive tone. He did not disappoint in proving his ability to stand up and defend themself. However, he did have concerns over the extent to which Chisaki explained his physiology, he doubted Mondai would ever be strong enough to kill the Toukai and Nishiki was loyal to the Muramasa just as Chisaki was but his flippant behavior and high profile meant he was likely to spread that information freely and then there was Aimi who was as powerful as he was unpredictable. Shinjiro had immense respect for the man but he was not someone he would ever trust and confide in when it came down to one’s abilities. The stronger anyone became in Kirigakure the more of a threat they were and the closer one had to protect themselves and maintain an edge on the competition, especially when they were loyal to a separate main family. Even as Chisaki spoke Shinji watched the Bannin carefully, never truly letting his guard down around the powerful Kaguya. Even Nishiki despite his flamboyant, carefree attitude Shinji recognized as a potential threat and an increasingly viable rival.

And so, when Aimi moved suddenly Shinji was not surprised. His eyes had difficulty keeping up with him, though he could still perceive the motion but his other senses, his smell, the feeling of the change in the air itself, the sound of his footsteps and the rustling of his clothes, they painted a much clearer picture of the man’s movements. A year ago, when he had first met the man, he would have been nearly completely unable to perceive the man, only able to predict and anticipate to some extent. The gap was getting smaller though it was impossible to say how close he was to being considered his equal. He was certain that they each had skills the other didn’t know about, likely more in fact than the ones they did know. Such was the mark of any elite shinobi of Kirigakure. If Shinji knew all of an opponent’s weaknesses and capabilities, he was certain he could kill practically anyone, such was the purpose of being trained as one of Kirigakure’s most proficient and versatile assassins. But in open combat, against a Bannin with many unknown talents, Shinji would never choose to engage someone like that in an actual fight to the death. Despite knowing that, the Jinchuuriki felt his body ready itself to act if necessary. Kirigakure was a battlefield and in the 2nd ring, a district inhabited solely by shinobi, former or current and direct family members of such people, it was a daily occurrence for conflicts to occur outside of training even and not uncommon for shinobi to kill one another after some provocation or significant disrespect.

Fortunately, it seemed the Bannin only intended to provide a stern lecture, something Shinji had been on the receiving end of more than once. Aimi-sama was one of the few individuals that had succeeded in adjusting his world view, though as always there was resistance and conflicting doctrines influencing the Jinchuuriki’s development. Surprisingly, Shinji found himself agreeing with everything the man said this time. Though he still watched the interaction closely, still standing just a few feet away from Chisaki and having to fight the urge to move between the Toukai and the Kaguya. He couldn’t put Chisaki in a position that would indicate weakness or reveal his own emotional bias toward the viral entity. Nonetheless, Shinji had a natural intensity about him even in a relaxed state, primed for combat and feeling protective he was certain Aimi would be able to pick up on the tension despite his efforts to supress any aggressive intent. The man looked to Shinji and smiled, seeming to check in and the Jinchuuriki responded with a meaningful nod, hopefully conveying that there would be no lingering issue and that he understood Aimi’s intent. Looking over to Chisaki, Shinji would offer his hand, hoping Chisaki would take it and they could walk together. His posture relaxed and his eyes softened slightly, he wanted to reassure Chisaki that he stood by him but also wanted to ease the tension he felt and allow himself to enjoy going to the hot springs to unwind. Hopefully they could all still continue on together.

At first, he was annoyed since nobody seemed to notice but Mondai decided to not continue with it until Aimi came in the picture where he decided to inform him that technically he wasn't correct about them all being boys initially than Chisaki came flying at him in a tone that could land her in heap trouble where he was from you didn't talk to anyone or him in that way, kirigakure was known for its violence and Mondai was born and raised in the slums were trash-talking, arguing and fighting were common and because of that, he was quick-witted and hardened. "First of all, you misspoke! You mean overdeveloped! And second of all you best watch your tone their lad you might annoy someone!" His glare was challenging and intense and his more 'slum-like' speech came out subconsciously. He was used to this it was his childhood was proving that you were the biggest and toughest was expected and you didn't let anyone talk over you.

Then Chisaki seemed to go on a tangent about that he didn't really have a gender and can change form at any point and stay so forever seems as if he had struck a nerve. While what she said had some fair points being made the way it was delivered and the fact that Mondai didn't know about this, made it very strange of him to witness her transform into a man when he had the perception that he was female in the beginning. Mondai noted something in his head she can change her form which means her tall frame and muscular body was simply nothing more than an avatar which meant his physical and other attributes likely stayed the same. Mondai was about to reply right after he spoke but Aimi managed to squeeze himself in with a lecture which made him smirk but then he decided to lecture Mondai which was understandable however what Mondai did not like he was spoken to like a child as if he had no understanding what biology was or as if he hasn't talked to his parents or anyone else for that matter about things such as this. It wasn't that her non-gender was a problem it was that without any form of warning or heads up which caused him confusion and discomfort but he did come out calmer than he was before after he told Mondai to not let Chisaki get to him, however, a bad taste was left in his mouth. "I know Aimi I'm not stupid, A little heads up from him could have made this situation better and not cause any confusion. Let's go and have some fun can't be arsed to be annoyed..." He hoped that Chisaki would see this as water under the bridge and not throw shade or seem annoyed with him but if he did Mondai wouldn't let it get to his head unless directly confronted or insulted in someway but for now it was merely warm watery fun in this cold cold country.

Nishiki slowed down with a mixture of worry and annoyance as he heard the ongoing argument behind him heating up with Chisaki seemingly screaming at Mondai over his ignorance with the transformation, which Nishiki couldn't see the point of, causing him to turn and glance over with a slight grimace as he just wanted to keep the fun going.
"You humans are so pathetic, always squabbling like babies" commented an even more annoyed, heavy voice within
"and you never did?" the host provoked in return, to which a feeling of what could be called a dismissive glance was shot back from the beast.
"Granted it is pretty annoying" the boy then added in sympathy, which felt kind of weird but just rather matter of fact in the current moment.

As their mental discussion was beginning to build up a gust of air blasted by the grimacing fox as Aimi bolted past him and right before the arguing duo, something he was just barely getting used to now with his sense of vibrations in particular just catching some of the man's movements in time but it was still nonetheless a crazy speed he was not prepared for and he had to push himself to the ground to feel like he was not going to be blown over.

Once Nishiki was caught up with the bannin's speed he then watched as the man lectured Chisaki and Mondai both, instilling the ideas of manners and respect into the pair of them before turning back and setting off peacefully back on the fun adventures of bathhouse hunting. Having witnessed such a lecture and return of peace, the young fox's grimace turned back into a happy grin and he too turned back around and continued to follow on with weird curiosities on how Chisaki's body even worked filling up his mind once more.

Within Yoshimitsu seemed to simply scoff at how petty, small and weak it made everything seem with some joyful musings over how a man of power could just end everything in an instant and yet clearly lacked the true strength he possessed to simply squash every last one of them and rule the whole land, ignoring the fact he was locked up inside such a human of course, feeling like it was all very whimsical and pointless.

Chisaki sneered towards the ignorant one's rebuttal. However, when Aimi cut in, he behaved mostly though tremors in his form were noticeable. Whether they were from anger fear or excitement only Chisaki himself knew. The instincts of an apex predator were screaming within. Not that there was prey but that there was a higher level predator in the area. The tremors continued even after Aimi's tone changed to ne more friendly. At least until Shinji held out his hand. He grabbed on like a lifeline.

As for Mondai, chances of them being friends were slim. It wasn't necessarily irreparable but as of right now he was on the food list. Time would tell if that would change. Leaning against Shinji like a couple might he followed Aimi towards the bathhouse interested to see how males interacted.

Aimi Kaguya was quite perceptive in many ways including noticing little ticks in behavior that people gave off when under pressure. Mondai very obviously didn't like being talked to as if he were a child even though, to the Kaguya's eyes, he didn't mind speaking like one, the crass tone and trash-talk seeming every bit like the sort of lash back that a young boy would give. Shinji was tense and on edge, visibly trying to keep his cool and not make a move. For what reason Aimi couldn't rightfully say but his silence was telling. Things between the two of them had been a bit like walking on thin ice since his encounter with the rest of the Karagata household so he felt safe in assuming that his restraint and silence was out of some mixture of fear, respect, and pride. Chisaki, meanwhile, visibly quivered and said nothing after he had finished lecturing him. Much like how he couldn't know Shinjiro's motives for not taking an action he couldn't know exactly what it was that was making the shape-shifting ninja shake... but from the sound of two hands clapping together he again felt safe in assuming it was some form of fear or perhaps respect. Nishiki of course was just eager to move on and it was the fox's demeanor that he was most keen on. He, too, was ready for some relaxation! This little lecture had been more taxing than it had needed to be.

So, leading the way, Aimi Kaguya walked through the streets of Kirigakure and made his way to a particular day spa that, while small, had always treated him well. The outside was characterized by a small, traditional looking shack that served as the front of the building while to the sides of it and extending behind it were tall plank walls that contained the small hotspring. A sign hung on the roof over the door that declared the name of the establishment to be "Kappa's Domain" and had a picture of a kappa who's head was sticking out of a steaming pool with a rolled up towel on his head, eyes closed and a contented smile on its' cartoonish face. The Kaguya had been coming here for years and had never been disappointed!

Pushing the bamboo curtains aside Aimi stepped in and down into the small front building that was little more than a pair of doors in the back, a counter to the right that had a shelf behind it with various folded towels and robes. An old woman stood behind the counter, wrinkled and with her hair up in a bun, wearing a kimono and smiling as the rattling curtains were pulled aside. "Ah, welcome back Aimi-sama," she said with a bow, lifting her head back up and noticing the rest as they came in after him. "Friends of yours?" she asked politely.

"Naturally. They'll be enjoying the spa with me today. My treat. I was promoted today, after all!" he said with a light smile.

"Congratulations! As always, the door on the right is for gentlemen," the hostess said, lifting her arm up and gesturing towards the rightmost doorway. Aimi nodded and looked back at his small ragtag group of fellow ninja. "Changing room and bath's through there guys, hot spring is just beyond it. C'mon," he said before walking his way across the small room and pushing past the white cloth curtain that separated the changing room from the front. He grabbed neither a towel or a robe.

After a tense and quiet few moments, it seemed the group would be heading to the onsen together after all. Shinjiro exhaled slowly, holding Chisaki’s hand and feeling some sense of contentment as the viral entity laid its head on his shoulder. They followed along as the newly promoted Bannin of the Kaguya clan led the way and soon enough they were at the hot spring. Shinjiro couldn’t recall if he had been to this particular location before, he typically kept to the noble district for such things so that he could ensure privacy, though during the yearly water country festival he tended to try out various establishments throughout the shinobi district, in fact it was in one such bathhouse that he had met Muramasa Maido for the first time, a woman he now considered a close comrade after fighting alongside her multiple times.

He admired the professionalism of the woman at the counter, of course everyone of her guests would be shinobi and many of higher repute but to host a new Bannin and both Jinchuuriki was a great honor that many establishments would fight tooth and nail for and certainly make the highlight of their business. Shinji spared the woman a courteous glance and slight nod before following Aimi into the change room, along with each of the others. Much like Aimi, Shinjiro was not shy of nudity, though he hadn’t been exposed to it too much and had only recently begun to delve into sexual experiences he was proud of his physique and scars and was a man naturally teeming with confidence. Gently removing each of his weapons and carefully placing them in a storage locker he then removed his cloak, pausing for a moment to neutralize the poisons running through his body before removing his mask. His shirt and pants would be next, carefully folding each article of clothing and placing them away until he stood naked. As one would expect his body was the pinnacle of lean fitness, remarkably defined arms and almost unnaturally chiseled abs, with more muscles displayed than most knew existed. Even his legs were as dense as steel and cut up with definition. Countless scars marred every surface of his body save for his face and even his shoulders were branded, one with the symbol of the Karagata, the other with the insignia of the mist village, a reminder of his loyalties, though noble born he was forever tied to his family and village, not dissimilar to that of a slave. On his stomach around his belly button was the large Fuuinjutsu seal containing the power of the Genma, augmented with another seal around it that would teleport him back to a special containment room in the village if he were even in risk of losing control of the beast.

His hands and partially up his wrists and forearms were as usual a blackened coloration, similar to charcoal while the rest of his body was quite pale. His light brown hair fell messily around his ears, often hidden beneath a hood and his lower face was revealed to show his deceptively boyish smile and handsome jawline. He hadn’t been looking around at the others at all as he stowed away his belongings with great care. He was wary of leaving his valuables anywhere though few would dare to cross him. Glancing around the room he would determine if the others were ready, huffing lightly as he noticed the sheer brazenness of Aimi and the equally impressive, though notably bulkier physique of the Bannin. He didn’t care much of looking at Nishiki or Mondai, only glancing vaguely in their direction before approaching Chisaki with the confident stride of a lion, reaching to grab his companions hand and taking a moment to admire their physique. He likely would have preferred their female form, though he still found himself drawn to the masculine presence. “Shall we?” he gestured with a confident smirk, hoping to lead him along into the bathing area. It was customary to sit on a bucket or some kind of other stool and wash oneself thoroughly before entering the bath, the entire room having drainage and quite warm and steamy. “Sit. I’ll wash you” he offered to Chisaki, grabbing a bucket and a cloth and filling it with steaming water from the large communal bath. If he accepted the offer Shinji would kneel behind Chisaki and begin running the steamy cloth over his shoulders and back. It was entirely up to the individual if they gave the prior cleansing the proper care and attention traditionally required or if they simply gave themselves a rinse and hopped right in but Shinjiro was someone trained to adhere to discipline and ritualistic habits, though this would be his first time actually taking the time to wash someone else. If Chiskai refused for whatever reason he would simply go about washing himself, closing his eyes and taking his time. He didn't care much what anyone else did or thought of his routine or his offer. It wasn't terribly unusual for close friends to wash one another though it was uncommon for someone of greater authority and rank to volunteer to cater to another below them.

Mondai walked away somewhat annoyed but he wouldn't allow his small argument with Chisaki to stop him so instead, he simply followed Aimi to the bathhouse. He walked in and removed his folding sword and the rest of his clothing revealing his muscular physique that was in full display along with his dark skin. He opted to go without a towel. Not only to prove a point but also because he was comfortable with the culture and understanding Chisaki a bit more. The hot bath was incredibly relaxing for him since he had constantly been training and improving his skills. The hot mixed beautifully with the cold environment of Kirigakure. He kicked back his arm and rested his across the wooden edge letting his legs float and mind wander. Mondai wasn't satisfied with his progress while he has been training and improving he hasn't really become stronger or more respected across the village he would hope that at some point he could properly prove himself but until he could spend this day relaxing instead of worrying so much about his strength all the time.

Nishiki followed on into the establishment filled with awe and intrigue as he waltzed into the changing room with everyone else, where he glanced around for moment as if he didn't know how to get undressed or rather as it dawned how embarrassingly difficult it might be compared to everyone else who seemed to moving quite hastily.

For a moment the boy's eyes lingered as they caught the insignias burned into Shinji's flesh, ignoring the other scars as he curiously pondered about how strict his house was for that sort of thing as he mostly had the Tsukino and Muramasa symbols emblazoned on his clothes.
After such a curious peak at said marks the fox swiftly moved to get his own clothes off; many knots upon knots where undone as threads and ropes collapsed, releasing their captive fabrics as finally his upper layer came off followed by his kimono and then his undershirt which itself was still full of excessive exuberance as its luxurious fabric was neatly folded away.
Finally came the lower half, each perfectly tidied away in perfect order like the rest of his clothing until he was fully naked and his foxy features truly popped; his five tails swished about in their full glory, his fair but sharp claws trimmed and perfect and his slender physique perfect for a trickster animal shone full of grace.
Though of course there was also a couple of oddities; the black rods that seemed to pierce his wrists came in full view with no long kimono sleeves to mask their presence and much like Shinji a very detailed and intricate fuuinjutsu pattern surrounded his bellybutton, clearly identical and full of grand power.

Everyone was probably much father ahead by the time all Nishiki's clothes where neatly put away, as such he made haste and rushed to the hotspring only halting to bend down towards the water to dip his finger in it and swirl it around for a couple seconds before stepping in.
"Ooohh" he exclaimed as he felt the water wash over him.

Chisaki glanced around the bath house as he was assailed by memories of his childhood. He hadn't stepped into a bathhouse since his transformation. He never really got dirty as it were, any stain or speck of dirt resolved with by his unique constitution. As everyone started to strip, Chisaki would simply shrug and his form would ripple before the clothes seemingly sunk into his skin.

Despite his fluid gender, certain traits clearly carried over despite the transformation. His body was still lean and less bulky than the other males of the party, the tight compact muscles whispering of hidden strength and flexibility. He cocked his head to the side curiously shaking his flat chest noting the significant lack of weight. It was the first time he actually stopped and considered his male form's physique. He'd shifted male before but that was usually for stealth missions and his mind had been focused on the mission.

Seeing Shinji's body would remind him of their first encounter back on the beach and the mischief they'd gotten into together. It'd bring a warm smile to his face and he'd happily take his hand and allow the jinch to lead him in. A coy smirk would appear on his face as Shinji told him to sit.

"Is that an order sir?" He'd playfully tease a bit before sitting and allowing Shinji to wash his back in what could be considered normal skinship. He hadn't been washed in such a manner in ages. The warmth of the gesture was a refreshing feeling and he relaxed the tension leaving his shoulders. After Shinji was done Chisaki would get up and gesture for him to take his place so that he may wash his back in return. After the scrubbing he'd rinse him and take his hand pulling him into the water to join the others.

Quite the cast of characters were with Aimi Kaguya today. Each one of them had their own unique intricacies about them, each one was of a different rank more or less, and all of them seemed to be treating this bath house a bit differently. Nishiki seemed to have no problem relaxing in the warm water, his five tails quick to take up space around him and soak up water as he sat back and relaxed. Mondai was doing an excellent job of relaxing himself, his entire body language changing the second he got settled into the water. Shinji and Chisaki continued to flirt with one another and bathe each other and all of that was perfectly fine.

As for Aimi Kaguya, well, he took perhaps the least amount of time to get undressed out of all of them. Lifting up one leg at a time he would unwrap his feet and let the wrappings fall in a bunch on the floor before undoing his belt and setting it, along with the equipment attached to it, off to the side of a locker. His cloak, wrapped around his waist as it always was, was simply pulled off and then, wow! He was naked! Much like Shinji his body was in peak physical condition, balanced between being bulky and lean that at once showed his capabilities between both strength and speed. Unlike Shinji, or any of the others for that matter, there were no markings of any kind on his body save for those on his forehead. Not a single scar marred his, frankly, perfect physique thanks to his regenerative abilities. For a man his size, he simply was in as prime of a condition as he could be.

He would wait for the others to enter the bath before him, not because he wanted to ogle their bodies or anything along those lines, no, he was simply being polite. This was his treat, after all. While he waited he pretended to fiddle with the items in his bags but, mostly, he just sat on the floor with his long white hair draped around him and falling like a messy curtain behind him in all directions of a semi-circle. Once the last of his group had left the changing room he got up and walked into the spa area, making his way to an as of yet unoccupied corner of the hot pool of water and stepping into it. He didn't flinch or even seem to relax all that much from the heat as the others did. Aimi simply sat down not too far away from Nishiki and Mondai both, sitting across from where Shinji and Chisaki sat with his arms spread out over the lip of the pool, his legs extended far and crossing over one another, immersed in hot water up to his chest. He closed his eyes and let out a long sigh.

"Man... nothing quite like this, is there guys?" he asked them all at once. "This nice hot water, this cool crisp air... I tell you, I've come here pretty often in my time. Been to other places too, of course, but there's something about this one I particularly like..." he said, not really certain of why he was saying it. He simply spoke his mind, thinking very idly that it was probably only because of this particular instance, with all his fellow shinobi around him, that he now held a preference for this place in particular.

"I've been coming to places like this ever since I was a genin. It was one of the first things I did for myself I think, actually, once I was a shinobi proper. Before then I didn't really have any privilages as a Kaguya. I took baths in my apartment, came straight back once they let us out of the academy, strained and trained myself to the bone - the literal bone - every day to get better at being a ninja..." He paused, realizing that he was beginning to go on about himself a bit... but he decided he didn't care. He was a bannin now. When he spoke, other people listened in a way that not even jounin could command. Why not drone on a little?

He sighed. "I'm sure you know what that's like. It's no different from the Tsukino, from the Karagata, from the Toukai. Hell, I even trained a couple of you a bit!" he said with a light chuckle, remembering when he had helped Nishiki train against tougher opponents and how he had caught the flash grenade in his hand, the time he had refereed Mondai and Shinji's practice duel and how that had gotten way out of hand, that time he asked Shinji to purposefully attack him on the beach... the only one excluded from his memory was Chisaki, but they were there now so that mattered more.

"Ah, we work so hard to become ninja of exceptional quality, to be good weapons for the village. We compete with each other, grow ruthless, cunning, powerful. We have to if we want to survive, and we all want that. We climb the ranks, take on more responsibility, gain more fame in the village, all to be better weapons... better tools..." He paused once more, opening his eyes and looking up at the misty sky over his head. "It's kind of sad, isn't it?" he asked, not really expecting an answer from any of them. He didn't even bother to elaborate on why he had said it.

"I'm a bannin now, second only to the Mizukage, and it's taken so long to get here. So much effort, so much pain and torment, so many missions, so many dead bodies in my wake... I don't regret any of it, not really, it's just... I don't have a rank to aspire towards anymore. I didn't even expect to get bannin frankly! Kasai just sprung it on me at that tournament!" He scoffed, remembering how surprised he'd been at the end of his match with Kasai when the Mizukage caught his arm in midair, told him that he was getting promoted and then, DING! The match was over, just like that. Kasai walked away leaving Aimi in the ring with only a single arm bleeding out on the floor. He grew it back, but still. What a paper bomb to throw into someone's face like that!

"I think what I'm trying to get at is, I'm a bannin now... I don't have any obligations to anyone anymore except for the Mizukage when he specifically asks for me... I think... I think I'm gonna go away, for a while," he said, hesitating only in so much as to decide if he was going to tell them he was leaving or not. He'd made the decision much earlier around the time he burned his napalm scroll. This was only to let them know of it, and after all, why not? What harm would it bring?

"It's a big world out there. You guys, all of you, have only seen a fraction of it. I've seen a bit more but not so much really. There's a lot I can learn out there, and now that I've got the rank... yeah. I think it's time for me to go. The Mizukage's given me a year to get stronger or else my rank will be taken from me, so that's my mission now I guess, and I think... out there, beyond the village, beyond the water. That's where I'm gonna find it..." He trailed off again, lifting his left arm up from the lip of the pool and extending it up into the misty sky above his head, as if reaching for the stars beyond just out of sight, just out of reach.

"One day you guys are gonna be at the same cross roads as me you know. Assuming you don't die along the way, some day you'll look around and realize there isn't anything more you can do here. Then you'll have to make a choice; you'll have to find something to do to go on... I hope when you get there the choice is as easy for you as it is for me." Once again the bannin sighed, lowering his arm back down, tilting his head back and closing his eyes. "Right now though? Right now there's no choice. No choice, no mission, no tomorrow. Just you, me, and this hot, hot water. And you know what? Sometimes, that's enough," he concluded wistfully. He'd said a lot and he was certain most of it was probably going to go over their heads, though not all of it, and he was also sure that Shinji and Chisaki probably tuned him out to flirt some more! Still, he felt somewhat better for having said it. More at ease with himself than he had been since leaving the Mizukage tower. He was leaving, and they would have to stay behind.

And that would be enough for Aimi Kaguya.

Unlike his focus and clarity when training, or the freedom he felt hunting in animal form, Shinji’s ritualistic bathing was perhaps the only time he felt truly relaxed and peaceful. It was restful for his mind, body and soul. A near-daily reward after a bloody mission or endless hours of training until his body ached to the point of barely being able to move. But to experience it with friends was a welcome change, he had enjoyed public bathhouses with others every now and then, usually when he could slip away on a day of festivities or other such celebration. And so it was fitting to do so again now in celebration of the growing strength and promotions among the group of them though most of all the newly appointed Bannin.

Though as much as Shinji respected and admired Aimi, it was clear that his focus was stolen by Chisaki. It was exceptionally rare for the young assassin to make friends and in fact aside from his cousin Yuuto and perhaps his Dagger apprentice, all those he could consider a friend were in this room. But the shapeshifting viral entity stood out, it was a feeling greater than friendship. A deep, unfamiliar attachment that he didn’t fully understand but he found himself craving more of each time he saw them. For many years he had been afraid to grow attachments to others and now he feared only that he might one day lose that feeling.

The muscular, heavily scarred teenager held Chisaki’s hand and met their warm smile with one of his own, a brief moment where he seemed to light up and the smooth, handsome features of his face and bright green eyes seemed genuinely lively and at peace. The pink haired Chunin teased him playfully and Shinji ran his hand through the back of Chisaki’s hair, gentle at first before grabbing firmly, placing his other hand at the base of their neck, relishing in the closeness as he moved in close behind him. “Yes” he confirmed lowly, finding some enjoyment in the power dynamic between the two of them. He would wash the pink haired man’s back and chest slowly and with purpose before switching out until he was similarly washed. His rippling muscles were hard as steel but it still felt comforting and relaxing to have someone tend to him that wasn’t simply a slave. Exhaling slowly, Shinji allowed himself to appreciate and cherish these moments and feel his connection to Chisaki grow stronger. When it was time to join the others, he let Chisaki lead him along, intertwining fingers and feeling a sense of persistent happiness.

The hot water was a familiar sensation to be submerged in. Shinji sat with his back against the backrest, his left arm around Chisaki with Aimi sitting on the opposite side across from him and Mondai and Nishiki nearby to either side. Shinji met Aimi’s eyes as he spoke, nodding in agreement, as he slowly glanced between the group. He trusted these people, as much as he could trust another Kiri shinobi. Bathhouses seemed a place of vulnerability, of opening up and accepting each other. He realized that he had even met Maido in a bathhouse, the first time he had seen a woman naked, though even now that he saw her as a mentor that he was devoted too she still unsettled him sometimes and he wasn’t sure he could ever actually relax like this around her. In contrast, Aimi who had humiliated his entire family in a brazen display of power, seemed almost honorable and nearly trustworthy. It was a rare trait in Kirigakure that Shinji was generally still wary of, though in this context he felt completely at ease.

The man’s words resonated with him and he felt compelled to simply listen, occasionally brushing his hand against Chisaki’s shoulder or hand. He found himself wondering intensely what Aimi meant when he called their drive for power sad, was it pity for all those that fell along the way? Resentment toward the distance it created between even those that succeeded. It was hard to say, but Shinji could only reflect on his own interpretation and conflicting feelings about such a system. He had taught himself not to care about feeling distant from others, nor to mourn the loss of those weaker than him but almost exclusively because of the people in this onsen he had been reflecting a lot lately on how much control of his fate and his way of living he really had and what he dared to want for himself.

There was a sullen, heavy presence as Aimi spoke of leaving the village for a while. It wasn’t surprising in the least though Shinji couldn’t shake the feeling that it seemed it might be a very long time until he saw him again. “I think I understand…” Shinji started softly at first, he wasn’t sure if he was allowed to speak or how much more Aimi wanted to say but he felt he wanted to express some of his own feelings. “Some of my best memories, most exciting adventures have been out far from here. For a man like you, that’s where you belong” he stated, Aimi had earned the right to forge his own path and live an adventurous life and when Kiri called on him and he returned he would be stronger and wiser for it. Perhaps one day Shinji would follow a similar path but for now he couldn’t imagine wanting to anywhere without Chisaki at his side, but perhaps they could take some extended missions together if she were to be promoted, or he could simply act on his own accord and authority though it might be best to excel his own efforts to reach the status of Bannin first. He smiled contently, agreeing with the simple prospect of living to enjoy the moment in times like this. There was no telling when life would become filled with pain and misery once again, when all their limited happiness would be cruelly ripped away from them. Shinji knew that was his fate as it always was and always would be, but unlike before he wouldn’t shut himself off to avoid the pain. He would live for these moments, as fleeting as they tended to be.

Relaxation, warmth, and clear-mindedness were the things Mondai felt the moment his body settled in the warm-water something he never gave himself enough time up until now his routine has been to wake up eat, train his body, rest, and eat before training his technique before returning home once again to refuel by eating and sleeping. That was his life most of the hour but now he understood something and that was to take time, take time with the quiet moments to relax and find yourself. Time to reflect and think and time to simply rest the mind. Mondai's inner reflection was interrupted by Aimi's speech which after a short while was interrupted by a common Mondai style playfully sarcasm "What's with the Sermon?" He chuckled before letting Aimi continue what he wanted to say. Mondai slowly realized that this was a 'goodbye' speech, he knew Aimi wasn't the type to make a speech from the little experience Mondai has had interacting with the white-haired Bannin. Which saddened Mondai before Aimi said it officially. Even from the little time, Mondai had spent with Aimi was still a source of inspiration and admiration. He helped push Mondai when he had no obligation to he also choose Mondai of all people to accompany him during the bloody mist festival and by extension the search for his father. Mondai thought about the past months and years and how much has changed so quickly for him. From untouchable to shinobi to a dagger of the seven swordsmen and now Aimi will be gone soon.

"I ain't dyin' anytime soon! I'm too good to die! Might not be the strongest but good enough not to die!" Mondai paused for a second and switched from his joking demeanor before looking at Aimi again with flames of passion in his eyes. "I haven't known ya' that long but I admire you.... regardless I will make sure we meet again... I will become stronger! Not only for you but for our people!" He said with shining willpower that could be felt through the room. For him, Aimi was cut from the nearly same cloth they came from the same place while not sharing the same journey he still felt strong respect for Aimi when he found out his family was untouchable. Meeting him again stronger and more skilled meant something for Mondai to get acknowledge by Aimi would be a milestone a very far milestone but for Mondai it would be a historic one...

Nishiki sank into the water near Mondai, his tails curling around him as he felt the comforting warmth. His mind wandered with curiosity about Chisaki and his body; did he have to hold himself together? What if he suddenly started melting into the water?

The pink haired boy glanced over at his fellow pink hair for a moment, his eyes squinting in a questioning manner as if he was waiting with baited breath only to realise, perhaps somewhat disappointedly, that nothing was happening other than whatever Shinji was doing with his hands.

With a bit of a sigh the fox sank deeper into the water with the top of his head barely sticking out as his ears wiggled with joy.
"Water is the best... Especially calming water like this" he softly exclaimed through bubbly breath.

After a short moment the Tsukino felt the powerful tingling sensations of vibrations from all the surrounding water, in turn causing him to sit back up and look over to the entrance as Aimi finally entered.
"Ah! Aimi-sama!" he exclaimed with excitement, having almost forgot the man with the drowning of all his woes.

As the new bannin arrived the man started going on about how these types of things were quite lovely indeed, before moving onto a kind of speech that clearly meant goodbye which saddened the you special jounin a bit.

Nonetheless Nishiki easily sparked back up and found it to be an opportunity to simply get stronger along with Aimi and one day prove such strength in the future.
"That just means we all have to up our game and prove how strong we can get for when we next see you!" he replied cheerfully with a grin, believing what his sense said was for the best.
"Before then though, I guess we best enjoy this relaxing time together even more so now" he went on to encourage, sinking back into the water just a little bit.
"After all this water truly is amazing... I mean... Most water is; it can be so many things and behave in so many ways" Nishiki's own little excited speech started to flow out as his hands touched the top of the water with a small glow.
"So wonderful..." he trailed off with memorized delight, raising his hand as a thin snake of water flowed out and followed it upwards.
"Peaceful... Calming... Warming... And aggressive! GRAGH!" he went on, shaping the water in intricate patterns as he twirled he hands around before chucking it at Mondai in a kind of scare tactic.
This was swiftly followed by a serious amount of snickering as Nishiki almost seemed to lose control of himself.
"shishishishishihishishishishishi"
"Truly hilarious" scoffed a clearly sarcastic, dull, moaning voice from within the boy's mind.

Chisaki thoroughly enjoyed Shinji's attention as they soaked in the water together. He leaned into him as they awaited the others holding his hand. He noticed Nishiki-sama staring at him and was curious as to why. Surely there wasn't anything that interesting going on between him and Shinji other than some hand holding. Despite his age Chisaki had enough experience dealing with matters between men and women due to his normal appearance despite the fact he'd yet to do anything of the sort himself. He had found it amusing however how gullible and easily swayed men tended to be when he used more feminine assets to distract them. Shinji himself despite all his strength and power was clearly no exception though his intimacy despite Chisaki's current male form definitely lead him to believe the young man thought with something other than just his one eyed monster.

He relaxed listening to Shinji's heart as his pink haired head rested on the young man's chest, the steady rhythm soothing and calming. Chisaki considered for a moment that he was being overly intimate but thinking back to the fact no one batted an eye at their skinship to which he gave props to Mondai, the rapid change in his attitude towards him actually giving him a more favorable impression. Safe to say he'd removed himself from the food catagory at least, for the moment. Chisaki stretched out as Aimi entered and again wondered if he and Shinji were being to intimate seeing as the Bannin and Nishiki weren't being nearly as close despite their clearly more intimate relationship. It was enough of a signal for him to decide not to sit on Shinji's lap and stay seated next to him leaning into his chest.

Aimi's monologue however drew him away from his own internal musings of the Aimshiki ship. The serious tone while boring to some was serious enough to make him focus though clearly the energetic Nishiki-sama struggled as always devolving into mutterings about water before playfully attacking Mondai. Chisaki himself might've joined in on the revelry had his own thoughts be considering Aimi's words in depth, contemplating the freedom he'd feel at Aimi's level. To not be bound hand and foot as if a simple beast kept hungry and rabid to be used against their master's enemies. He yearned for that type of freedom of movement and strength. He didn't relate to either Shinji or Mondai in their comments. He truely didn't know Aimi well enough to say where the man belonged nor did he have much attachment to the village despite his attempts to hold on to his familial bonds from childhood.

Chisaki held onto Shinji tighter as he thought deeper upon the man's words and what he'd dow once he had said power. The first thing that came to mind was changing how he was viewed amongst his clan. Even his father saw him as an abomination. He still treated his father as warmly as he had when he was doted on despite the cold shoulder he more often than not received. It wasn't fair that he with immense power and potential was treated with disgust and viewed as weak for "failing" to conquer the clan's virus. In reality it could be said he'd succeed more than any of his predecessors. After all, they borrowed the power of their virus at the cost of their lifespan.

Despite having these thoughts Aimi's last words pulled Chisaki back to the present. There was no need to worry about the future today. At least not at the present moment. The bannin was right. Today they simply needed to enjoy the hot water and pleasure of each other's company. His signature smile would replace the lost look that had previously overcome his face. He'd give Shinji a kiss on the cheek and relax into the young man's strong embrace as if his muscles could shield him from the worries outside that bathhouse. Between him and the hot water that soothed his body he'd actually managed to find a kind of peace. Though it certainly wouldn't last, Chisaki decided to enjoy it while it did.

The various responses were more or less to be expected of the lot of them. Chisaki said nothing, either absorbing everything or not really paying attention because of how distracted they were, which was fine. He wasn't trying to say anything directly to any of them anyways so if they deemed it to be nothing of worth he'd understand. It was very Kirigakure of them. Shinji, whom he had had the most dramatic experience with, seemed to be understanding, claiming that the wider world outside was where he belonged. Perhaps he was right. He may have been wrong. Aimi was willing to find out. Mondai, who he had had the least amount of time with aside from Chisaki, responding with bravado, admiration and patriotism. Sweet child. He didn't understand. Then Nishiki was... well, something of an icebreaker. The heaviness of Kirigakure never seemed to get him down which was truly odd to the newly appointed bannin. Twice he'd physically over powered him when the Genma inside, Yoshimitsu, had gotten out of control, yet he was still perfectly fine just sitting with him in the hot water. Most other ninja probably would have resented him for that.

And of course, there was the splashing of the water. Going as far as to make shapes with the hot water, well that was just showmanship. Throwing it on Mondai though? That was hilarious! So much so that the bannin looked over as Nishiki let out an animalistic shout and tossed the water onto his fellow shinobi and a smile cracked between his lips, followed by a deep, guttural laugh as he tilted his head back and howled with laughter into the foggy sky. It was a laugh that was tinged with relief as though it had been held within him for many years. It felt good to simply laugh for laughters' sake and the steaming water rippled as his belly quaked with each escaped guffaw.

"Mein Gott! I forget sometimes you like to prank people!" he said once his laughing fit was done, lifting an arm up and slapping it against the water - hard. Hard enough that most of the water rushed up and over all of them, the entire pool rising up into the cool air in a sudden geyser and then falling back down again in great plops and faux rain droplets, soaking the stone path around the pool. There was noticeably less water in the bath once things began to settle again, and Aimi laughed! Aimi Kaguya, for perhaps the first time in his life, had pulled something that could approximate as a prank and he was laughing about it.

The laughter was good.
