The nobles of Kirigakure, much aware of this, have become concerned of the image of Kiri. In part, that the allies they currently hold may have forgotten the brutality and power of Kirigakure. Return Of The Bloody Mist It has been suggested that the Academy’s final test be modified, that rather than the current format which requires the students simply survive, that instead their lethality be put to the test. The proposed exam would include the releasing of several targets, slaves, criminals, etc, during the exam. Those that survive, win their freedom, and even the right to join the academy. But only the students that return with the head of a released target will be given the title of shinobi. Of course, the head of a classmate will serve as well, for those who fail to catch one of the limited quantity of targets.

As with all things in Kirigakure, however, festivities seem to be a requirement for this to occur. The head of the Hirohito family reported that an enormous shipment of “adequate targets” has been brought in and is being held currently. Apparently, they claim, that a lage bandit encampment was taken apart, and there was a large number of stragglers left behind, the numbers may have been bolstered by a few slaves here or there but, who cares right?

Kirigakure will be hosting a festival that lasts 3 days, and welcomes all shinobi to attend. During the 3 days, these targets will be released into the island surrounding the village, and the shinobi will essentially get to participate in a larger version of the academy event to come. Shinobi that bring home the heads of the target will be rewarded for it. A festival will be going on as well, an opportunity for shinobi to make a name for themselves, meet people, and generally boost their status within the village.

The event will occur within Kirigakure. All topics related to it, may they be socials, plot boards, or what have you, should have [Fesitval] in the title, you can PM Onu when you turn one in and I will grade it. All threads in the festivities will pay out +1 point to the pay out.There will be festivities, which is essentially a free-form social, its a festival, so you’ve got a topic in order to support roleplaying with people you’ve never roleplayed with before!

Additionally, you can post D-rank or C-rank plot boards, which can be single topic plotboards to hunt a generic NPC with the following stat sets.

Storytellers for this event will be rewarded handsomely! Remember the landscape around the island is varied and exotic so feel free to utilize that to make the plot boards and fights exciting! Obviously combat is active for this event, killing is not permitted except in topics in which all participants approve, except the targets, of course.
