Misty and gloomy were the most accurate of words which one might use to describe this particular day within the compounds of the Hidden Mist Village. Yes, Kirigakure indeed seemed maliciously cold this winter. The waves lashed against the docks and the young Kaguya stirred. High tide, a full moon. Things were down in the depths of the drowned oceans wept. The chilling howl in the night set goosebumps down bodies.

Bodies...

Others heard it first. For whatever good reason, the young forgemaiden had awoken early that morning. Truly, however? The reason was good. Or so she supposed, she had intended to grab some extra work. Now that Ou was out of the academy, she felt she should dedicate herself fully to the cause. However, she felt it might be good to amass some income first. So she devised a plan.

She heard it again, and focused more intently. A wolf howling through the dark, too close to be for any good. She sprang from her post and donned her gear. Practiced and memorized, the routine was down pat. She knew it well, could don it all on just like that. She started with the top and added on all the rest. A black shirt, with two long sleeves. Her midriff exposed, her sword and anvil tattoo shown brazen. Black stretch pants and black boots now she gathered. She put them on quickly and then grabbed her hip pouches. Spinning while she worked, she looked quite like the dancer. If anyone had seen it, they'd nickname her Pranced.

Fortunately for her, she was alone for right now. Now the new genin grabbed a jacket and performed a dark visage. A bone structure jut out, from the red dots on her forehead. A white mask made of bone, with Kaguya markings in tow, it had the village symbol embossed on it quite clearly. The bones that protruded continued to move. As though alive they shifted and sorted, contorted and distorted. Enveloping her head, it formed into a helmet. This bone armor helminth took shape for the hell bent. A series of bone tendrils sprouted out from the mask. Eight tentacles of awkward lengths and varying sprawls, the octopus mask visage was her calling card, after all.

Armed and ready the Kaguya set out into the morning, and walked on her tip toes. The movements of shadows and the blood smells greeted her nose. What had happened? She wondered, but she soon did find out. A message came swiftly, a higher ups response, no doubt. The carrier ninja dropped the scroll in the air, it poofed onto a mist, and floated in front of here right there. The forgemaiden grabbed it and the carrier was gone, in a vanish of fog they disappeared with the smog.

"A pack of large wolves has gotten loose and is making its way through the rings and causing hell, capture them or put them down. - Fushinkou, Kilo"

Ou funneled dark chakras into her hands. Sickly green venom dripped acidic wretchedness upon the pages and it began to melt apart. She tossed it aside, the scroll almost all gone. Her acid jutsu ate through it indiscriminately and she set out down the street. Others were about now, and they had likely yet to meet.
