In the early morning mists, she inhaled. The vapor turned red as she exhaled sanguine death. Inhabiting Hisayo and wielding Kayoko, the eight of them sat in the morning darkness. Training, as it was, in the public training grounds of Kirigakure early in the morning. It was dark, and there was no moon to show that night. The sun too was far away, for it was midnight in that type of way. That day to dismay their lay a bit of weigh in the way. A surge of blood began to boil inside Hisayo's skin. To her it was pleasant, not painful a bit. A clone of Maido shot out like a rocket. A clone rather, of Hisayo and Maido fused to the socket. It was made of blood, but was rather quite vicious. It regenerated, had a cloak, and a sword made of blood too. Rather, it had three all in red, and armor too. Such a simple technique, yet even that was immediately frightful. She had to be careful not to destroy the area around her now, it had to be quite quiet for a bit after all.

The eight of them became sixteen in that moment and the training thus begun. The clone began to form hand seals but Hisayo ran forwards. Swinging Kayoko, she closed the distance at a blindingly fast speed that most Jounin could not even witness. She sliced at the clone, which stopped forming hand seals to parry. It had no choice, or it would die. The distance was too close. However, the clones cloak also shot out and helped to parry the blow, wrapping around Kayoko the blade while Hisayo twisted her handle, pulling. Maido's red eyes began to glow and she sensed a new body. Someone entered her range, and she darted her own senses towards them. Her cloak jotted out and morphed into a crimson howler-esque representation of lips like an evil envelope made of blood. "Hello there young one." It said.

Shivering away the lingering remints of slumber, Saicho continued his trek into the training grounds. Early mornings were the norm for ninja, more so for genin as the academy had set their sleep schedule and life hadn't robbed them of it yet. If the boy had a choice, he'd much prefer to be a sleep, 'I technically have a choice, sensei isn't here to enforce anything.' Wicked thoughts of covers and pillows fought to dominate his mind, but the feedback he'd gotten from one of his more recent training exercises forced them away. All the criticism boiled down to simply this: he was basic.

He had no real strengths, and apparently, THAT was a serious weakness. It was humbling to have it laid bare, he felt he had accomplished so much graduating the academy, killing a man in order to wear the headband. Yet that was just a drop in the bucket. He killed a civilian untrained in ninja arts. Said man did kill one of his classmates, but that just made it worse. He killed a injured civilian untrained in the ninja arts. Saicho didn't himself know how to describe the hallow feeling that seemed gnaw at his stomach from that realization. Smothered laughter turned into awkward guffaw from his mouth piece.

Saicho decided to get in more training early in the day before any missions or assignments. He could utilize his time to sharpen and expand his skillset, providing a much needed reinforcement of his established skills and mine his way into the depths of his potential. Which is how he found himself in his training attire, a pair of dark pants, and a matching long-sleeved shirt that riddled with pockets, very early in the morning. Sure it meant he'd probably be dead tired by the end of the week, but it would be worth it. 'Too bad Yuri didn't wanna join me. Her own team training must keep her pretty busy, but now I'm gonna have to go it alone.'

A chilling voice calls out to him, exotic in a very unnatural feeling as his mind races to place the voice. Before him, and certainly NOT what had been in his field of vision a moment ago, was a woman. A woman with bright red lips, eerie red eyes, and a crimson cape that bellowed behind an what looked to be well crafted armor. Saicho felt his eyes shift, as behind this woman, were more blurs of speed and clashes of force that he felt in his teeth, 'Kami be damned.'

He hadn't realized he was laughing until he registers his mouth pieces rattling around.

Removing the offending object, Saicho replies, "........" At least he tries too. Pretending to clear his throat, he tries again, "Hello.....lovely day...isn't it?" 'Smooth'
