Nishiki had somehow been roped into some form of adult show-and-tell at the newly refurbished academy that had not too long ago been stricken a blow by the beastly Katsu in an invasion, only to be thwarted by himself in a grand battle or so words spread as such. Regardless the fox was back as a freshly made bannin and was to basically hype up the power of Kirigakure or whatever in order to inspire the young minds of their village, essentially showing what it was like being a new bannin.

After around of talks and meeting many students the new high level shinobi master decided it would be fun if he gave the academy a massive demonstration of power, though the administration where a tad nervous about such a thing so his ideas had to be limited but it seemed a show was definitely online.
All the students had gathered in the training grounds along with accompanying teachers as the gloriously dressed, nine-tailed fox pranced to the centre of the field in gleeful theatrics as everyone murmured about the on goings.

"Is this really a good idea?" a nervous female teacher whispered to her colleague at the back.
"Don't worry, we limited what he can do and I am certain he understands the dangers" the man commented, seemingly brushing off the worries with a wave of the hand.
As they talked a squad of chuunin rolled in a large boulder from their quick hunt as directed by Nishiki, adding to the nervous state of some of the teachers and yet somehow calming them as it was apparent whatever act the Tsukino was to perform would only involve the rock.
"Is everyone ready!" the Tsukino cried out, raising his hands high, causing a mix of happy and nervous commotion form the audience with most students very curious but some still disbelieving that it could amount to anything whilst their teachers kept careful eyes on the matter. phpBB [video] With a thud the boulder plopped down before the bannin who them turned to pat it with his hands as if to inspect it before nodding.
"Here we go!" he called out again, wooing more of the crowd.
Strength was never one of the Tsukino's fortes but he had trained himself hard to become at least on par with an expected S-Rank shinobi and he was sure it would be enough for his little trick, thus he went and seemingly bearhugged the rock and dug in his claws with which he then lifted it off the ground and in turn sparked a bit of arousal in the crowd.

Boulder in hand Nishiki bent his knees some then thrust up, releasing it into the air and causing a loud gasp of both nervousness and excitement from onlookers as it whirled around in a spin.
It didn't fly too high, that wasn't the objective, though it was high enough and so Nishiki glanced at the watchers once more before pulling out his twin swords that he had been practicing with and then with a powerful spring of legs leapt right at the whirling rock.
Rocketing towards the skyward object the new bannin performed a sort of spinning slash with his blade as he seemed to pass through it, splitting it in half and causing a cheer from the students.

However it didn't end there as Nishiki span round and seemed to plant his feet on the air as if it was solid for a brief moment before a thunderous boom roared behind him and he shot down at the left half, slicing it as he just did the whole and bringing out further enthusiasm.
With a twist the nine-tailed man turned and burst apart the air once again (this time with more ease than the first) as he rocketed to the other half and sliced it and then an even further boom as he ricocheted through all four quarters, slicing the rocks up even more than before.

The students began to really roar with excitement as they witnessed the strength of a bannin and even the teachers seemed to settle and applaud, though the show was not over yet as the sword wielding figure shot through the air seven more times with a graceful landing before everyone fitting such a grandeur looking man.
As kimono and tails floated down to earth in pristine fashion, a shower of rocks and stones pelted all around the training grounds much to the teacher's dismay but to a grand uproar from the students.
"Better fix those up" Nishiki then whispered to himself as he glanced at his blades before standing up and sheaving them.
"Show off" grumbled the voice of a demon within.

After another round of talks and instructing students to train to be as strong as him, whilst faculty cleaned the field, Nishiki finally left the academy with a bit of a gleeful look as he skipped along in the street with a few other onlookers that had seen the spectacle from outside eyeing him with awe.
Who knew which of the onlookers would be brave enough to approach such a gallant and powerful man, though it seemed likely that at least someone would given the luck of the day.

'So, this is him...'

A fellow family member had been spying upon the fresh bannin, of course anyone would be interested in a rising power amongst the strength of the various clans and families that had come to call Kiri their homeland. Even more so when that person was from their own house. Hisato had been off in the distance observing the flamboyant man with his 'interesting' personal clothing choices for a shinobi but that was not the reason that the black fur tailed swordsman had been drawn here on this day. No, instead he wanted to see the level of strength that the title of 'Bannin' truly held but he was honestly a little surprised.

This was because he knew well about Nishiki being the host of one of the village's Genma spirits, it was truly the pride of the family that one amongst them had been chosen and it had helped to elevate the status of the Tsukino amongst the rest of the village due to this fact. With his presence in the swordsman as a dagger, the youth had also been able to learn more about the details of the recent invasion as well where the new bannin had been instrumental in killing one of the S-rank invaders who was renowned for her strength and savagery. But of course, to Hisato, stories were just that, stories. 'Could he really be that stronger?'

The presentation of his swordsmanship skills wasn't bad honestly, even enough to receive a bit of unshown acknowledgement from the assassin-like fox but it was perhaps more so a bit of surprise as this was something that the bannin was not known for, instead it was his elemental manipulation and ninjutsu that had been used to earn him the title of Bannin. 'How interesting...' As the man left the academy ground the dark shadow that was the swordsman silently pursued him from a distance, tailing him for the time being as he wouldn't mind assessing the true strength of another Bannin level shinobi.

Hisato knew and had seen the level of strength that the Overseer of the Swordsmen possessed, it was something that was even able to send a shiver of fear up the spine of the normally unshakable youth who had experienced a fair number of dangerous things and had been trained to fight back fear through a number of illusionary trainings, but he didn't get that type of feeling from his fellow family member. 'Though he had some skill, it is still inferior to master Hitachi's seven sword style...' Even though one day he planned to kill off the current swords member to take his position within the organization, the younger Tsukino still held a high level of respect for his mentor because of the interactions and level of skill he was able to display. With practices steps and controlled body movement the man attempted to stealthily follow the gallant man until he could find a more isolated or deserted spot...

Nishiki continued on his merry way with various eyes on him, some due to the display but these days he was spied by many a peeper just due to his rank and status but nonetheless he remained mostly merry and jovial as he skipped here and there with grand flamboyancy.
The mist within the village even felt a little sparkly today as if to shine for the beautiful fox as he went about his business, though he wasn't too certain what business that was given the relative shortness of his academy appearances compared to what he expected perhaps because of his magnificent idea that did many more wonders than continuous and boring speeches and presentations.

Simply skipping along the Tsukino another glittering shiny but this time it was spread across the floor rather than hanging in the air and was truly inviting; golden eyes sparkled to match as the pink haired male leapt over to his newfound shinies, which, as he guessed, where a scattering of lost coins.
"Ah, luck is upon today Yoshi" he quietly but joyously commented.
"You're not serious?" a deep and aggrieved voice boomed within the host's mind in response.
Nishiki paid no mind to the beast and swiftly went about picking up the small gift to himself, glancing around as if to make an effort to confirm no-one was looking for it before washing a small bit of suiton over the coins and dropping them in his own pouch somewhere deep within the recesses of his kimono.
"Finders keepers" he finally spoke aloud with a grin, partially mocking the beast over the thought of taking them.

Once Nishiki had gathered his ryo he turned a corner went on his way as if nothing had happened, ignoring any further onlookers as his stomach also began to growl.
"Oh dear..." he quietly remarked as he came to a standstill, placing his hand on his stomach.
"... I guess it was a bit of a workout and now would be as good of a time as any to eat, wouldn't you say?" he spoke seemingly to himself once more, though Yoshimitsu simply gave a theoretical eyeroll in response over the annoyance that relying on such subsistence brung.
With that the man began to move with a bit of a pace as he had a place in mind for this day as he wound through a couple streets only to be stopped by a large crate of cabbages that had crashed down and blocked one of the side paths.
"Waah! My cabbages!" he poor old man yelled as his crate collapsed, he then turned towards the gallant shinobi hoping to request aid but before a word could be spoke the fox had scurried away.
"Not my job" Nishiki quietly murmured, knowing full well that the genma within was about to perk up in a mocking tone on if he would help.

After a quick detour the Tsukino stopped before a brilliant looking sushi restaurant that was in the midst of its lunch hours, his arms outstretched in great delight along with a grand display of his nine tails that swished in great happiness.
"Behold!" he called out in joy.
"This place again?" the beats within scoffed.
"Good food is good food my friend" the host replied replied out loud with a bit of a snicker, "also yes I will continue to call you friend so don't try and stop me" he then swiftly added, butting in before Yoshimitsu could retort as usual.
He then crossed his arms and calmed his tails as his ears flickered, his face turning a bit more serious as he moved to speak again but more obviously in the open.
"But before we go in, there is certainly something odd going on" he commented "Now, I don't particularly pay attention to every minor detail I pick up and so a lot is the blur of everyday life but I could swear I was picking up odd movements and ones that don't match the sounds of the hustle and bustle around us, perhaps another friend wants to join us?" he began to speak a little louder as if purposefully calling out to the void and not just his genma companion.

Whoever was following certainly skilful enough to mask the sound of their presence but Nishiki had began to pick up on even the minute vibrations that still occurred with their movements and their displacement amongst the regular everyday movements, especially when he started to stop and start moving over and over which in turn would've triggered similar patterns in said follower's movement and as such he stood before the restaurant and really began to focus on all the vibrations within the surrounding area that would reach him so that he might pick out their location ahead of time despite their quietness.

Pure Pin Drop Precision
C-Rank Stance
Nishiki will stop and put his vibration senses to the task by focusing on smaller, lower level vibrations whilst trying to focus out the heavier, louder vibrations. Though not perfect this can help feel for smaller objects such as a pin dropping by trying to strongly zone out other distracting vibrations, though it does not increase the proficiency of his ability keeping the same limits. On a higher level than the basic D-Rank this takes more focus but can more accurately zone in on those specific vibrations.

The more that the young man followed around his family member, the odder that he perceived the newly promoted Bannin due to his flamboyant actions and attire that seemed the complete opposite of what a shinobi was supposed to be. Of course, he understood the almost star like status that powerful shinobi within the Kiri village possessed and some even went out of their way to dress or act a certain way in public but to the foxlike youth this was truly out there. But at least it gave him the opportunity to test out his stalking skills as he stayed a few corners back relying on both his nose and ears to help keep track of his prey, one day this man would indeed be the prey of the kitsune if he ever stood above him.

Hisato couldn't help but raise his sharp eyebrow time and time again as he followed Nishiki through the streets and through different paths due to seeing him talk to himself, was he talking to the powerful spirit sealed within his body? Shaking his head, the swordsman in training landed softly on his feet transitioning into a crotched position on the corner of a nearby rooftop to the sushi stand as he eyed the nine long tails of his elder family member. 'Again, talking to himself, must be annoying having to deal with the needly words of that spirit inside him.'

Though his half smirk that was upon his face faded as the words transitioned to the man speaking not to himself but more so to the environment around him, 'Did he realize that I was following him?' While the young man had been working on his stealth skills the paired well with his mindset and combat abilities, even his mentor Hitachi had told him that he still had a long way to go. Not to mention that his family was well known for their hearing, he had been trying to test out if he could quietly approach the bannin who already had a form of advanced senses, though it would seem that he was unsuccessful judging by the words and demeanor of the kimono wearing ninja.

Sighing to himself, he gave a bitter smile before allowing the muscles in his legs to engage as he leaped upwards and out allowing for himself to land a few meters off to the nine tailed man's right side as he gave a gentle bow of his head as he rose from landing with bent legs. "Nishiki-sama." As he stood the young swordsman, his sword hilt protruding over the left shoulder, he greeted the senior Tsukino as his hands smoothed out his black kimono with its red edging as his own five, thin black tails curled up behind him. "Seems I'm not proficient enough to fool the ears of a bannin just yet." He gave off a somewhat innocent smile as his shoulders shrugged lightly.

Nishiki turned to face his fellow Tsukino and spread his arms with elegant kinship and shone a sharp smile at the boy
"Ah cousin" he then began to speak, giving a purposeful pause as he feigned ignorance to the truth he was about to say "Hinata" he finally spoke, a twinkle of devilish glee shining in his eyes over the delight of his jokes.
"So it was you, alas you are indeed correct though not to put yourself down as it took a moment to realise for sure"
The man gave a graceful nod before turning back towards the restaurant as he pointed to it with his own left palm.
"Will you be joining us, I'll pay" he asked, jingling his newfound coins in his right hand
"We could perhaps get them to let us take it out and even eat elsewhere and do some other activities" he then suggested a she glanced back, a little more glee still glistening in his eyes as he wondered what Hisato Hinata would do.
