Nozomi was hard at work diligently training like usual. Today she was trying to figure out different jutsu she could use to improve her combat effectiveness, as well as trying to figure out how to get faster. As she trained in a local training ground in kirigakure she would begin to look around wondering how much genin here she was stronger then. She couldn’t let herself fall behind, it was already bad enough that she was the weakest dagger she couldn’t allow herself to loose to other genin too.
As she continued to train she would look on at the scenery, they were in a typical forest in Kirigakure. But she was in a secluded portion of the forest. After awhile of training, time seemed to catch up with her and she started to feel hungry. So she started to head out of the forest, back into a populated area of kirigakure. Once there she would begin to shop around for a decent food stall. After a bit of looking she would find one that she liked. She would then start to order some food and eat. Enjoying her food at least a little, before she would start to do some light jogging until she was finally ready to train again.

A chance encounter
As Nozomi jogged back to wherever she was going to train out in the forest a weird sound could be heard. THUD... THUD... THUD in the distance. It was coming from off the beaten trail a ways out into the forest. Several seconds would pass and then another series of THUDs would happen. If Nozomi decided to go investigate these sounds, not that whoever was making them was even attempting to be stealthy with their attempts.
Eventually she would locate a person, someone that appeared to be around ten to twelve striking a tree with various punches, kicks and elbow strikes. They were wearing a bone white, loose fitting, long-sleeved, zip-up shirt, black pants cut off around the mid-calf with bandages wrapped around his ankles and traditional shinobi sandals. His stark white hair, that goes slightly past his shoulders matched the extremely pale skin that showed through his clothes, almost like he had never seen the sun before or that he was fighting off an illness.
The clothing on his arms and legs appear to be heavily marked by the training that was happening, but next to the young boy might be something more surprising. A pile of white shards and powder of some kind. It took moments before the boy gave the tree three very strong kicks, much stronger then a boy of his age most likely should be able to do before shaking his legs and more of the white shards and powder came pouring out. Nozomi had come across Li Kaguya attempting to train his bones to work with him in the way he needed, but that appeared to be difficult given their constant shattering after a couple of hits.
If Nozomi had made no attempt to be stealthy walking up on Li, then he would turn slightly towards the direction of the person, his bright blue eyes giving away the direction he was looking. Li wasn't afraid of very much in these woods, even while under war with the Heart village. This might be very stupid of him, but honestly Li didn't fear death. His life was only worth the same as any other genin right now.
If Nozomi made an attempt to be stealthy while walking up on Li, then he would continue this training trying over and over to figure out how much stronger he needed to make this in order to complete the Justu he was working on.

As Nozomi heard the odd sound she would find it interesting at first and think about investigating at first. In case it was a enemy attack or some other sign of something bad but considering none of the higher ups seem to be doing anything. It likely wasn’t anything that harmful and that lead her to believe that there’s was a chance it was someone doing something private. So she doesn’t investigate and instead goes back to her training spot but considering it’s now taken by someone much stronger. She just walks away sighing in annoyance and disappointment, deciding to investigate the strange sound after all.
But on the way over there she notices how big the area is. She then sneaks over noticing what seems to be a genin like her but from the Kaguya clan. Based on the bones they kept using to wack at he tree with, she considers just taking the spot and attacking from here. But then remembers how big the area is and instead of causing potential problems. She sneaks away gaining about 100 meters distance from the kaguya member then started training herself.
She starts by trying to use blood she produces to make a weapon. Eventually after some practice she succeeds then starts testing them causing a large chopping sound to be heard by Li. Though sometimes the kunai breaks eventually she is able to perfect it.

Li continued to work on his justu, it shouldn't take too much longer to get this stuff taken care of and would have continued to work on it but then began to hear a chopping noise. Li stopped his training and his head turned directly towards the source of the noise and began to wonder what was going on. That chopping sounded like someone was attempting to chop down a tree, but they were on the Kirigakure training grounds. No one would be chopping down a tree for lumber or anything around here. Atleast they shouldn't be. Either way, Li eventually stopped what he was doing and began to walk making no attempt to hid his presence as he walked.

As Nozomi continues to train the Chopping noise continues causing the red kunai she was using to occasionally break. After the strange red kunai breaks she would do a few hand seals and another one would appear in her hands. Which she would then use to continue trying to chop down the tree until that breaks as well.
The cycle would then repeat as she continues to train. Eventually she would take notice of the fact that she would hear the strange sound of the guy training as his bone jutsu impacted the trees finally stop. At first she figured he was getting something to eat as well or just done training for the day. But when she sensed someone approaching her she would soon look around to see who it was, only to see it was the same strange Kaguya guy who was training before. She figured he stopped training to watch her, as he heard the sound of her kunai hitting the tree.
Though after seeing who it was she would go back to training by trying to cut the tree with the kunai, repeating the action until the kunai finally stopped breaking. As she did this she would make sure to be aware of the Kaguya guy who was watching her. She wanted to make sure he wouldn’t attack her, even if he was non hostile for now that didn’t mean it would always stay that way. She also wanted to be ready in case he actually did turn hostile towards her.
But when her training was done and he didn’t attack she wondered what he was waiting for. What was his reason for watching her? Also how long would he continue watching her for? Lots of thoughts swirled around in her head as she contemplated the reason he was just standing there watching her. Including the possibility he was waiting until she was tired.
She figured she would just have to conserve some chakra in case he did try to attack her and would start practicing a new jutsu. She would begin channeling her chakra and a strange red needle would start to form out of her hands. Once it was formed she would check to see if it worked as intended.

Li couldn't help but notice several things that gave him the clear indication that she wasn't as strong or as fast as she was or she was holding back significantly, which you normally didn't hold back that much during training. Even he didn't do that but still. Eventually Li took a step forward and said, in a voice that sounded between the distant moans of a ghost and the breeze " Your doing it wrong."
Li moved slowly, making it very clear that he didn't mean to fight or cause any issues before walking up to the same tree as Nozomi was at, he stayed on the side of it where she could easily see him, giving her enough distance that she felt like she safer. " You need to use your hips, widen your stance and bend your knees." Li reached behind him back and pulled out a kunai, a normal one before turning towards the tree and saying " What you are doing is swinging with just your arms, you aren't going to generate enough power to put someone down using just your arms. You need to use your shoulders and your back as well. " Li demonstrated using only his arm muscles by slashing the tree with the kunai, only going an inch or so deep into the wood before coming back out. " So what you need to do is turn your hips slightly as you swing, this allows your back and shoulder muscles to get involved as well. " Li then did the same move, using his back, shoulders, hips and arms and the slash went all the way down to the hilt of the kunai and out of the tree, using his full speed and power this time. " Now watch what I am doing carefully. " Li moved slowly this time, showing as he moved his arm across his body to slash the tree, his hip moved in the direction of the slash slightly allowing to generate more power from the simple use of moving more muscles. His knees and feet also moved slightly, allowing some of the power from his legs to transfer up his spine and into the blow itself generating more power.
" The other issue is that your stance isn't wide enough and your knees aren't bent enough. The reason why you do this is one, a wider stance makes you harder to push over as it lowers your center of gravity to lower on your body. You want to keep your knees bent as well because that helps distribute your weight across your legs, making it easier to move when you need to. " Li turned and showed him trying to move with his legs locked up, which significantly slowed down what he was capable of doing as he had to generate more force to get his legs to do what they needed to do.
Li then took up his normal fighting stance, and spread his legs to around his shoulders and bent his knees slightly and then jumped backwards and forwards at full speed. He then relaxed again before explaining more " This also allows you to be harder to predict in a fight because it is much quicker to shift your weight between a front kick or a back kick if half your weight is on each foot then if you keep it all on the front or the back. " Li stood there for a moment to see if his 'student' had understood what he was trying to teach her or if this lesson had fallen on deaf ears and she still thought that he was going to kill her at any moment.

Training her body wasn’t something the young Jouchaku clan member was used to. She had always been lean and slim, agile enough to get by on physical exams but with no real strength to set her apart from any average civilian. While she wasn’t yet convinced that she actually needed any muscle to be a skilled kunoichi, she was beginning to realize that she had to at least be faster to evade taijutsu users and keep up with allies. It was difficult to get used to the concept, sprinting in short dashes as she made her way through the forests within the shinobi district. She was glad there were no shortage of outdoor and natural training grounds in this district. Of course, the forests across the lake from the village were immeasurably vaster but that was quite the trek to make just for some training and she would rather avoid having to go through the merchant district or experience the stench of the slums outside the village’s walls.
Training among the general shinobi population thus far wasn’t as bad as she had imagined. It seemed many clan members or even main family nobles made a habit of training with the grunts of the village. It was important she supposed to be familiar with the way to utilize less valuable shinobi effectively in battle. But it seemed that once again she would find herself in the presence of peers. As she dashed across the damp grass and through the thin afternoon mists she thought she heard a noise of trees being struck.
The young woman paused, her yellow eyes peering about through the thin, dark trees. And then there it was again, not such a strong thud this time but rather the faint sound of a slashing weapon and a male voice. It was enough to pique her interest, after all she was quite bored of training alone and felt the need to challenge other Genin in order to actually improve. Dashing forward again with no talent in stealth nor even perception she simply approached the voice. Furrowing her brow as she got closer she realized that it sounded familiar. She supposed it shouldn’t have been a shock, she had encountered the Kaguya just a few days ago training not far from here. It seemed to be a regular training location for the young man. She only hoped he didn’t think she was stalking him, though she couldn’t deny that he possessed exactly the kind of strength that she needed to push herself to the next level.
Though she was wary not to get in over her head. Landing on a branch in a crouch, she looked over the two fellow Genin, some 25 meters away from herself. She was about 10 meters up in the tree but she knew Lii was fast, he could close the distance quickly if he decided she was an annoyance or a threat. “You again, and another new friend?” she wondered, eying up the small girl who seemed to be a fresh graduate from the academy. She didn’t recognize the girl and her traits were both odd and unique. She had white hair like the kaguya but golden eyes that were more similar to her own dull yellow. That didn’t seem to match any of Kirigakure’s clan traits, nor were they traits that a commoner might possess. “Who exactly are you, girl?” she questioned, placing a hand on her chin as she attempted to decipher this mystery.
Shigeko herself bore no clan symbol but her traits were strong indicators of her status as a Jouchaku. Still, if this girl wasn’t from the noble district she might not have ever encountered a Jouchaku before. “My name is Jouchaku Shigeko, bled to the Shiimu family” she introduced warily. How Nozomi answered would determine how much value she should place on her life and whether or not anyone would miss her if she got a bit too serious in their training. However, she would remain poised and ready to leap back with another burst of speed if either of the two Genin displayed a hostile reaction. Already the girl was channeling chakra throughout her body and producing a defensive layer underneath her skin.

Nozomi would carefully listen in to all the advice her fellow genin was giving her. He was definitely more knowledgeable about this sort of thing. Which helped but she really needed to find a way, to avoid having to use her body and physical strength for this sort of thing. She heard of a way to develop ninjutsu that she could use to control her own body with. She would have to look into that more later though she thought it was called Kinesis but she would find out as soon as this training was over.
After she finished thinking about future ideas on how to improve her technique in the future she went back to training with the kunai, trying to put into practice what he had taught her widening her stance, as well as swinging with her whole body. Li nodded to the girl as he took another step back and watched as she attempted to put what he had said into practice. She was a quick study and a learner but this was the basics and there was only so much you could do without the muscles, speed and stamina to back it up no amount of technique could replace that sadly. Shigeko’s pale-yellow eyes widened with fear as she saw the strange chakra surge around the girl. She had never seen chakra like that before, taking on so many different colors. ‘Kami! What is she?’ the thought raced through her mind. The appearance of the strange chakra sent a chill down her spine and she felt an instinctual fear of the unknown. The chakra was both beautiful and terrifying and she found herself curious to learn more. It seemed immediately apparent to her that no commoner would possess such unique chakra. This girl was somebody of repute and good standing. And sure enough as the girl spoke she suddenly felt the need to dip her head. They were equals after all, but it was Shigeko who had made the mistake of possibly slighting the Karagata family. A direct member of that noble family was not somebody to be messed with. Killing her would be her own death, and even attacking the girl outside of a spar could have deadly repercussions. Everyone in Kiri knew the saying, ‘Never Cross a Karagata’ and that certainly rang true in recent years as the family continued to gain power by any means necessary, standing atop all others.
As a Jouchaku, Shigeko was naturally prideful herself. Second only to the Aisu they were considered the noblest of Kirigakure’s clans. But they indisputably lacked the strength necessary to challenge the Karagata. “Please forgive me. I didn’t know you were a Karagata” she offered her apology, looking rather strained in the effort but just fearful enough to let it slip from her tongue. Of course, she kept herself as composed as she could, refraining from showing too much fear. After all, it was not truly the girl that scared her, only the reputation of her family. “May I train with you? Us nobles and clan members should develop some healthy competition, don’t you think?” She treaded carefully. She recalled a rumor she had heard, that Li had joined the Karagata, serving loyalty to them. That would mean the two of them were aligned and there was no chance she could defeat them. All she could offer now was a chance for them to train together and be worthy rivals, useful enough that they could push one another further.
The fact that the Kaguya remained silent was unsettling. But that seemed to be just how he was, like most of the clan the Kaguya caln, rather barbaric. All stoic warriors; good to have on your side but not the best conversationalists. Shigeko watched as the powerful young Genin reached for a kunai. She wasn’t skilled enough to determine that the kunai wasn’t aimed directly at her. It was certainly close enough that it gave that impression and she leaped backward and to the left, descending as she did so. Surprisingly the kunai struck before she landed. Li was certainly physically strong, there was no denying that. In a one-on-one fight she had no chance unless she could ambush him. If he closed the distance, it would be all over.
She would need to keep getting faster, both in mind and body. She would need to develop the ability to keep out of reach of guys like Li. She watched Li as she landed, noticing him gesture toward the kunai and then opening his hands. Was he testing her? Mocking her? He had to know how much stronger he was physically. The girl had hardly ever thrown a kunai aside from the required academy tests. She knew it was useless for her to waste the energy or time doing such things unless it was to place exploding tags in convenient locations. “You want a kunai? Fine” she said dryly, nearly rolling her eyes at the idea. Grabbing one of her own she tossed it at him with a pitiful 3 Strength and as such speed. It was obvious she wasn’t holding back anything as she had to use proper form and follow through. It seemed so trivial to toss around kunai, like it was beneath her. But she supposed she would indulge li and train how he insisted. After all she was at a disadvantage here. If the two of them wanted to they could team up on her and kill her, she had to be careful not to set them off.
Dashing toward them at a slightly more impressive 8 Speed, at least above average for a fresh genin, she drew another kunai. From a distance of about 10 meters at about a 30 degree angle to Li’s left side she pulled her arm back, ready to throw the second knife. “Have another one” she huffed before running her free hand through her bangs, “Useless knives” she muttered to herself as she stood in a ready position, wondering just how far Li wanted to take this. She was fairly sure he wasn’t intending on seriously harming her but she was naturally keeping her guard up just in case he changed his mind. And there was still no telling just how violent or dangerous the Karagata girl was. While Shigeko was certain she couldn’t outrun Li she wagered that her blood armor beneath her skin was enough to ward off at least one direct hit. From there if she could manage to use a substation jutsu she just might be able to get away and create enough deterrents to keep them from pursuing her. One way or another though she would have to push herself to the limits to react and move as fast as possible if she were to assure her survival.

But after thinking for a bit she figured maybe it could be good endurance training? After all endurance was still necessary since if you got tired in battle it would become a big problem. But just in case she decided to ask “is there a purpose to this training? Such as increasing your endurance or are you just messing around at this point?”
She would then wait for his response, if he confirmed that it was a worthwhile training method she would then proceed to move a few meters back so they were both were easily visible to her. After that would throw a Kunai that she made with chiton jutsu at him. To try and see how he would participate at this training exercise the kunai would be thrown at a non vital area. After throwing the kunai at him she would make another with chiton jutsu and throw it at Shigeko at speed 5 strength 2 and like before It would be thrown at a non vital area. She hoped that this sort of excercise wouldn’t just be a waist of her time. She would then keep a eye on both of them after that to see how they react to it and if they would try to throw some kunai at her.

Li stood there for a moment, waiting to see what the young noble women would do with the attack. Much to his surprise, she didn't instantly attack back but she did dodge like the attack was going to hit her. She once again didn't move too quickly and seemed to be annoyed by the very idea of what he was suggesting. Doing some more thinking on this, maybe this could be seen as a challenge, or an insult to her physical prowess that he was willing to hand her a weapon and then ask her to throw it at him. Well either way it didn't really matter as she pulled out her own kunai, leaving his in the tree, and threw it at her with all of her might. Li was honestly disappointed but he had to remember that most ninja were not taijutsu specialist and even less were capable of keeping up with him at this stage in their careers. Either way, Li watched as the kunai, at least to him, moved in slow motion and once the tip of the kunai came past his fingers, he snapped into action.
With his right hand he snapped it downwards, not using his full force and speed because it wasn't needed this time around, and his fingers wrapped around the end of the kunai and stopped it dead. The point of this game is to increase your reflexes and strength with something that is common in the life of a ninja. Is it very dangerous? Yes, considering accidents happen all the time and 'accidents' happen all the time was well. Either way, throw a kunai at me as well and lets see if this is more even. "

Well if they were both against each other as well then this wasn't going to be fair or even. So Li had to fix that. Li stopped flipping the kunai in his hands for a moment, and flipped it so he held it in an ice pick grip before moving his arm, looking over at the blood kunai thrown at him. He wasn't an expert at this but this might be the only time he could do something this stupid. Moving his hand downwards, towards the location where it was thrown, he moved the top of his hand towards the location where the loop at the top of the kunai would make contact with the thrown kunai. Sadly Li was off on his estimate by millimeters, as the kunai didn't get stuck in the loop like he had hoped but instead deflected off harmlessly to his right.
Li then looked as Nozomi's throw as still in mid-air at this point, well Li had to protect the other player in this game. She could most likely deflect it or stop it using Justu, but that wasn't the point of the game also a free for all means that Li would win against these two. So a new plan had to be had as Li threw Shigeko's kunai at the blood kunai as it flew 'slowly' threw the air. This time it was at full force and speed, and unless Nozomi did something to move it from it's current path, the metal kunai would send the blood one off course and into the distance along with the metal one. Li stood there and said simply " In a free for all, the game will not work. I will beat both of you. So, if you all wish to continue playing, it should be both of you vs me. Otherwise we can go back to normal training. "

Shigeko wasn’t surprised that Li effortlessly caught her kunai but it was rather embarrassing and only served to re-affirm that taijutsu of such a level was beneath her. There was no need for her to be skilled with throwing around knives, her ninjutsu was a far more deadly weapon. And what was the point in poking a few holes in her targets when she could truly cleanse them and boil away their sins. “That’s certainly a very Kaguya way of training” she commented in what could be perceived as a compliment but there was a certain bite to her tone, an almost snideness to the remark. The Jouchaku noted the use of Nozomi’s Chiton ninjutsu but was surprised at how weak the girl was. It seemed the two may have been rather similar in their styles and techniques. Though of course a Karagata could never hope to emulate her prized Yugeton techniques.
She smirked, looking to the younger girl. “Why don’t we show the Kaguya that there is more to being a shinobi than tossing around bits of sharpened metal? True strength comes from within” she looked back to the young man. “Surely you have more impressive skills” she goaded him into displaying more of his abilities, he had been surprisingly one-dimensional in her previous encounter with him. It was a good start but she felt that it didn’t go quite as far as it could have. Either way she would be prepared to respond to a potential counterattack but she hoped she could force her opponents to fight against the waves and be slowed down somewhat. Even if they evaded at least once the river lost strength it would still flood the area, soaking at least a few inches of water into the ground all around them. If she kept a creative mind there was no telling what kind of fun jutsu she could come up to keep the terrain to her advantage. Truly ninjutsu was a skill befitting a powerful and noble clan member, it granted so much more possibilities than simply swinging around a sword or hitting people with one’s fists. Though she knew that if she were to be truly effective it wasn’t simply a matter of jutsu repertoire, she had to continue honing her chakra control, chakra reserves and her evasive ability. Though she was still young and relatively inexperienced in combat she was hoping that these two would help her discover her weaknesses and give her ideas about how to better combat them and other like them in the future.

Nozomi would grow the kunai at both like us usual she did note how fast he was to be able to what seemed like unintentionally deflect her weapon. Which suggested he was at least that fast. But in a even more surprising twist he also defended the girl from her chiton made kunai. Either he was taunting her or defending her but when the other girl mentioned something that implied they should attack him. She figured it was instead a taunt. She would then say to her “that sounds like a interesting idea.”
Thankfully her previous jutsu was still active causing her bodily fluids to be poisonous. She was considering attacking him first but figured that the other noble could’ve been planning a battle royal so she would observe the situation to see who made the first move and sure enough it was her. So she quickly watched as she shot a blast of water at her. Causing her to quickly jump out of the way at her max speed. Barely avoiding getting hit as it rushed by brushing by her foot.
She would then land on a nearby tree and spit at Shigeko using the jutsu from before ((control strength&speed 27)) before then immediately after using hand signs to activate a different jutsu and shoot a mist with a faint purple hue at the Kaguya. ((Control 27 speed&strength)) she figured better to make to eliminate all possible threats if they were going to do this sort of thing. On top of that if she was able to win against both of them it would make the Karagata and herself look better hopefully. Plus maybe her father would praise her and think of her more highly. All she had to do was win. Worst case she had to at least make sure she didn’t loose against both of them.

The user creates a colorless scentless mist with the exception of the faint purple hue that accompanies all Doku jutsu the mist can envelop a large area, and obscure vision, suiton and suiton extensions can spread this jutsu. Everyone inside that breathes in this jutsu will be struck with intense vertigo as their sense of balance shifts dramatically and gains a painful ear-piercing ringing noise in their ears the pain increases the more sensitive your ears are. As well as messes with your hearing. The pain from the ringing increases with control at 1-12 it only is ringing and painful throb like a earache you also get slightly dizzy
At control 14-25 it becomes a loud ringing cutting all hearing and severely weakens hearing based abilities. Along with getting moderately dizzy
At control 27-38 the victims ears begin to bleed rapidly as well as a extremly loud mind numbing ringing noise in your ears as the tympanic membrane starts to become heavily inflamed and after 1 post it spreads to your cochlea and begins to make it to get heavily inflamed as well causing distorted sense of balance making it very hard to even stay standing.
At control 39-50 the victims tympanic membrane starts to rapidly deteriorate after 2 posts it’s completely gone then after 3 posts it starts to rot the Coclea causing the victim becomes so disoriented that they can no long even stand properly they are no longer able to tell different directions apart. can only be treated with lijutsu that has equal or higher control and can be stalled but not cured with 1-9 less control

The user can either direct the poison into bodily fluids such as sweat and saliva because of that this jutsu is best used in close quarters. It makes a random body part swell up painfully feeling like it’s about to pop and becomes more sensitive to pain. The effects increase depending on control. Starts at a 50% increase in pain at 1-12 control lasts
At 14-25 control increases to double the pain and body parts now begin to swell to a additional half its original size limiting range of movements
27-38 control increases pain to triple the amount normal body parts now swell rapidly and can reach double there size and heavily restricts movement of the body and movement feels like your pulling a muscle even breathing can feel like your being stabbed at this point.
39-50 control increases pain quadruple and causes body parts to one by one rapidly swell until the skin and muscles literally explode leaving only the skeleton. It starts with the arms after 2 posts first one arm goes then 1 post after that the left arm goes then next post the legs then 1 post later the torso resulting in death. can only been treated with lijutsu that has equal or higher control and can be stalled but not cured with 1-9 less control

Li listened to what Shigeko had to say, and he was starting to realize that him and her weren't likely to get along at this stage in their lives. Li felt he had way to much to prove to himself, his clan and to everyone that he was worthy, that having a women with an obvious superiority complex wasn't going to do him any good. Maybe it would be best to kill her now and avoid that problem in the future, but that was the Kaguya way of thinking. Li knew that even if he hated her now, she is young and has near infinite potential to make the village better. She had made it past the first hurdle more then likely, killing someone, and Li wasn't about to cut off a potentially vital asset to the village at this stage due to his own pettiness. Li was self aware enough to realize that his first instinct wasn't always the best one for him. Even as she threw barbs at him, his mind was made up and the insults and venom washed over Li like water off a swan. This simply was not the time or the place to allow emotions into his thought process.
She then began to make handsigns, and as massive wave of water came pouring out of her mouth Li instantly jumped to the high ground, his superior strength easily taking him to a branch high enough to avoid the problem of the wave. Li stood there on the branch, watching both of his opponents at this point only to see a purple mist come flying towards him from the girl he had trained in taijustu earlier. It was way too fast for him to dodge out of the way, so he simply put his forearms infront of his face, as if he was blocking a punch. The purple wave came over him and he instantly realized his mistake as his eyes began to sway in his head, and he felt the dizziness come over him. He felt a hot liquid come out of his ears, something he knew meant that his ear drums had burst as a loud ringing sound began to go through his head. It sounded like he was trapped in the middle of a bell as it was going off as he fell to a knee on the tree. His first instinct was to run, but he knew the damage was done at this point, what was he supposed to do. His ears were bleeding, he felt like moving was going to be very difficult at this time, if not only allow him to get into a worst position. Thinking about the fact that he could barely keep his balance right now, and the world was spinning, Li placed one of his hands against the tree branch he was standing on and struck it with an knife hand, with hardened bone tips on the fingers. This embedded his hand deep enough into the wood of the tree that even if he lost his balance and feel off, the tree would keep him on the branch. This might dislocate his elbow or so something else of that matter but still.
How did things end up like this, Li thought barely through the ringing in his head. What could he have done differently to not have this happen? Was he too nice? What had lead to this series of events that left him more or less helpless in a tree, one of his arms literally in the tree to keep him from calling to the watery floor below. Maybe things weren't going to go well for him after all, but that is the Kirigakure way sometimes. Things don't go well for you and you die, and Li sure felt like that was going to happen to him right now. Things seemed to escalate so quickly, and to be honest it was Li's fault that it happened at all. It was only getting hard to think clearly with the ringing in his ears, he knew that putting his hands over them wouldn't help because whatever this was.
