[SSM] Nishiki Challenges Chiane

Nishiki thought it was about time to not only prove his standing within the Seven Swordsmen but to go beyond, despite realistically not being a full member for overly long having only truly began his path down his mastery of swords at least compared to the rest of his skills. However he certainly was already proving himself and he was a bannin after all so, with encouragement from his fellows, he moved to take up the mantle near the top as the new 2nd position swordsman and issued Chiane an official challenge not too long ago with today set as the date they would fight upon her accepting said challenge.

The pink haired fox stepped towards the large 100m circumference domed building with a dazzling gallantry, his luxurious gold patterned black kimono flowing behind him along with his nine pristine tails which swayed with each tap of the foot on the ground. With a grin the man unlocked the doors and walked in, taking in the perfect 80m wide training arena with grassy terrain, ponds, a few rocks and 20m sturdy chakra-reinforced walls, noting everything he could about the interior as he moved to the back and promptly sat down cross-legged with his eyes closed awaiting the prestigious steam user to arrive as instructed.

Chiane was both proud and annoyed by the fact that she had been challenged, she was happy that someone within her organization was tough enough to believe that they could take her on but to skip everyone on the ladder was the frustrating part, sure she hadn't been training like she should but lately she had been swamped with paperwork, therefor she had earned a valid excuse. Nevertheless, the moment was here, Nishiki had officially challenged her and the time was now, the redheaded woman stepped on stage and prepared herself for what was coming.

She hadn't kept an eye out on Nishiki for the longest and wasn't all too keen on how he fought nowadays but she was going to make sure that it wouldn't be an easy fight she was going to do her best not to kill the 9 tailed lads, she'd probably try to cut off one of his pristine tails just to show him not to mess with her ever again. A chuckle grew on her serious face, she wasn't too sure how all this would play out, fear wasn't her m.o so she couldn't back down and would do the best she could to show Nishiki why she was number 2 on the Swords list.

phpBB [video] Nishiki sat waiting when he finally felt the presence of someone's arrival, opening his eyes to see Chiane finally step through the doors of the dome and into the designated 80m wide arena which caused a peak of fox fang to show as the man grinned with glee.
"I'm glad you came" he commented as he stood up with a slow grace, his kimono flowing to the floor as all the material shifted.
"Let us not waste any time then" he simply added, reaching behind his back aglow with channelling as he came to max height and pulled out a tiny white ghost-thing known as a Teru Teru Bozu doll in his left hand and flooded it with chakra.

With that he let go of the doll and it blasted up into the air at 45 speed and near the top of the arena it would then burst across the (figurative) sky bringing about a downpour, scattering rain over the entire field and causing a wet pitter-pattering in the various ponds of water.
However he wasn't done yet as he continued to perform some further channelling as he slowly began to move towards the current 2nd, his hands settling lightly on the hilts of his swords before his whole body surged with electricity that occluded him and made him appear very ghostly indeed.
As the haunting shroud spread at 45 speed and prepared to whip out at 45 strength he instinctively pulled his two swords and moved into a particular stance in his approach, keeping focused on his foe but not yet committing to a direct assault, his left over his head and the right parallel to the ground.
"KYAA!" he then bellowed as he positioned himself after taking a deep breath, focusing his mind for the fight ahead.

As it was a Seven Swordsman challenge he felt he owed the courtesy to fight as one and so he would certainly commit to the part in the fight, though he was not withholding his true skillmanship in elemental ninjutsu to do so which became quite evident from the start even if perhaps there was some contradiction in the two styles.

Suiton • Rainy Day
D-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will channel suiton chakra into a weather doll and send it into the sky at [control] speed, whereupon reaching cloud height the chakra will disperse and cause a light rain to fall for 5 posts within a 10m radius whilst causing the doll to fall back to earth along with it. This rain doesn't do much of anything besides make everything wet just like any ordinary rain and once it has began, attacking the Teru Teru Bozu will not stop it as the chakra is already dispersed into the sky.

Raiton • Crackling Ghostly Aura
A-Ranked Raiton Jutsu
The user channels raiton chakra and causes a surge of lightning to build up around them like a large, glowing aura. This aura spreads across their whole body and spikes out in a wave of fluctuating electricity in a 50cm radius, jumping out to anything that gets within 3m.
This lightning moves in crackling arcs at [control] speed and shocks and deflects at [control] strength for 4 posts, all whilst making those within appear more like a ghostly figure due to all the glow.

A-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Winter Blizzard].
Building upon its parent technique, this Stance further builds upon further sharpening and refining the practitioner's capacity to focus on the opponent and the task at hand. Drawing in a deep breath, the practitioner also gathers up their energy and releases a kiai. The level of skill the practitioner has attained allows the practitioner to effectively attack and block from a neutral stance without any detriment. While in this Stance, the practitioner can effortlessly ignore non-critical distractions, focusing solely on the opponent(s). They also are able to ignore extreme heat, extreme cold, moderate oxygen deprivation, extreme fatigue, and even extreme pain. They can read the opponents' muscle contractions and body positioning very accurately in this stance, and they are able to read the direction, the type, the timing, and the speed of an attack that is imminent. The opponent can still effectively mask their movements if they have a movement-concealing Stealth technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. While in this Stance, the practitioner is conferred with a +4 increase to Strength and Will Power but suffers a -4 penalty to Chakra Pool and Control. The practitioner may end this Stance whenever they so wish.

Chiane chuckled as she stood before him confident, unknown to her the man before her was ten times the power she possessed, she had somehow slowed down her training and focused on the good life for far too long, for this wasn't a battle, this was a slaughter. Nishiki released an electrical aura that got the hair on her body to rise, a slight sweat drop ran down her forehead, she heard him shout and reached for her sword, she leaned forwards but before she could counter-attack, the man as already clashing with her.

Her eyes blinked and she hit the wall, knocking her out instantly, not only that, the electricity from his aura had paralysed her entire body leaving her incapable of continuing the fight even if she had the strength to resist his might. This man is beyond my capabilities... Damn... I should have trained harder. Chiane slid down the wall, knocked out and out of the challange.

Chiane actually truthfully seemed very under prepared for the encounter which welled up a deep confidence within Nishiki as he charged with great speed and even leapt across a pond to get right up within the woman's zone, the electricity already whipping at her as he swiped with one sword to knock her own out of her hands.
However it became even more truly clear how far she had fallen in her strength compared to him as they clashed, as such when he came down with a slash with his other sword he swiftly twisted his hand and struck her bluntly with the hilt which caused her to crash backwards into the wall where she fell into a slump.

The Bannin stared in disbelief for a moment before sheathing his blades and dispersing the electric aura around his body.
"Well... That was boring..." he muttered as he then stepped towards his defeated foe and knelt down beside her, poking her with his left index finger.
"You're alive at least, sooo, I guess I'm number 2 now huh?" he then questioned, slightly confused about the situation but assuming Chiane would submit upon regaining consciousness.
"HAAAAAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAAAAAA!" Yoshimitsu started laughing like a maniac within their internal mindspace at how stupidly easy the so called fight was

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
The physical training and mental focus encouraged by Zantou allows for the practitioner to adapt quickly and take advantage of opportunities to attack when they present themselves in combat. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to alter the direction of their blade mid-cut. This can be used to work around a block, or simply to act as a powerful feint and strike all in the same motion without stopping. This Discipline can make a Zantou practitioner’s movements difficult to predict in a fight.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Ambidexterity].
The practitioner of Zantou must be capable of both defending and attacking within the same movement. This Discipline represents the practitioner's training and capacity to block an attack with one sword while simultaneously attacking with the other while wielding two or more weapons, making it more difficult for opponents to adequately block or counter the practitioner's attacks.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Ambidexterity].
Complete control of the weapons one is wielding is a necessity to ensure a practitioner of Zantou is proficient in the style. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to switch either one of their swords (or both, if they wish) from standard grip to reverse grip reflexively, the movements to do so firmly trained into their muscle memory. This allows the Zantou practitioner to ensure that the cutting edges of their blades are always facing the opponent whenever they want them to be. This Discipline can make a Zantou practitioner’s movements difficult to predict in a fight.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Zantou harnesses the inner strength of its warrior to cause the opponent to falter. Intentionally clashing with the opponent's weapon at a weak point, the practitioner immediately torques the muscles in their arm to violently push and twist the weapon in a single direction. An opponent affected by this technique must have a Strength higher than the practitioner's Strength to avoid losing their grip on their weapon or being disarmed entirely. The practitioner can immediately follow up on this opening with a slash with the other weapon if they so wish.
